Fake Prime Minister Suffers Sixth Consesutive Defeat In Parliament

Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa, who was appointed as the Prime Minister through the back door on October 26, today lost the sixth consecutive vote in Parliament.

Mahinda

Rajapaksa suffered a humiliating defeat this morning itself when 122 MPs from the UNP, the TNA and the JVP supported a motion seeking to cut off budgetary allocations to cabinet, state and deputy ministers of the purported government.

When the motion was put to vote, 122 MPs voted in favour of it. UNP MP Sujeewa Senasinghe was absent in the House while the voting was in progress.

UNP Parliamentarian Patali Champika Ranawaka presented a motion to Parliament this morning and the UPFA MPs supporting Rajapaksa did not attend the sessions today as well.

Six UNP MPs, namely Rajitha Senaratne, Ravi Karunanayake, Patali Champika Ranawaka, Arjuna Ranatunga, Mano Ganesan and Jayampathy Wickremaratne submitted the motion to the Secretary-General of Parliament, last week, seeking to restrict all ministry secretaries from accessing public funds to pay salaries and emoluments of all ministers, state ministers, deputy ministers and members of their personal staff.

The motion also prohibits ministry secretaries from defraying their expenses incurred in foreign travel and internal air travel.

Chinese Embassy in Sri lanka knew that if the FAKE PM would become the leader in Sri lanka LTTE would come back. So, there will be some civil unrest among Tamils. but, those two officers say it is the SIN HALA – LTTE that killed us. Chinese say we knew it because we were listening to the TRUMP’s Phone. Other than that, Only LTTE that Sri lanka had was TAMIL FROM THE NORTH AND MALAIYURAN.

Idiot JD, show me once that I wrote a single comment in support of the LTTE. On the contrary, I have criticized idiots for supporting the LTTE. Stupid arse like, anytime a Tamil criticizes the government or anyone who happens to be Sinhalese, oh he has to be an LTTE supporter. Fool!!!

Boycott, rebellion, disobedience and strikes are all mindsets and strongholds of the “FAKES” greedy for money and power over others for seeming personal progress, but really after their own agendas. Look at the Medical Council into which MR and MS sent Karl Marx headship, not very different, now infiltrated by GMOA AP with multiple contempt of court cases refusing to follow the law and order verdicts of the judiciary of the country. Registering 82 legal MBBS SAITM graduates with more than about 10 year medical training experience is made to look a fake crime when so many govt. outposts are vacant. Village patients so deprived are foolishly still voting repeatedly for these murderers pretending to be saviors. Begin anew.

Pachoris has told Karuna he will do anything for the Tamils , and tells the Muslims he has circumcised and tells the Sinhalese ,the country belongs to us and for all to support him. Modayas King.

Democracy up to the removal of legitimate PM and dissolution of the Parliament in SL was seen only during the election results and some court case decisions. Since the removal of the legitimate PM and illegal dissolution of the Parliament the Democracy in Sri Lanka has bloomed and expressed especially by the voters in the country is amazing. This has shown the world that Sri Lankans truly value TRUE DEMOCRACY. EACH SRI LANKAN DESERVES A PAT ON HIS OR HER BACK. SRI LANKANS HAVE TAUGHT THE WORLD THE MEANING OF DEMOCRACY.

In Sri Lanka voters depending on their need, social standing and poverty they tolerated murder, white van abductions, rape, abuse of power, bribery, corruption, rape, armed forces illegal actions, bending of justice, political power misuse etc etc. But the day the President stepped on the Democratic Rights of the Voters, they have risen up. Democracy in play in Sri Lanka and deep down every single Sri Lanka, irrespective of age, cast, creed, race, religion and sex have risen up to protect their DEMOCRATIC RIGHTS. IN SHORT SRI LANKANS HAVE SHOWN THE WORLD THEY ARE THE PROTECTORS OF “DEMOCRACY” BY THEIR UNTIRING ACTIONS LAST FEW WEEKS!

If you want to know you is behind this mess simply ask WHO PROFITS or is going to profit from it the most?
The president? Certainly not, he is the big big looser here.
      Ranil? No.
      The parliament? No.
      Military? Seems not.
M R and Co? ONLY YES

And who has to pay the price for it? Sri Lanka again.

The culprit is not the prez. He has brain enough to know how wrong and foolish his actions were and are but it seems he had no alternative. The low performance of the present government has been orchestrated by MR and Co to prepare their come back. The recent happenings show clearly how much power and influence MR and Co has and so must have had. They could drive or force even the prez to make one unlawful decision after the other. That is the handwriting of Mr. Unlawful, Mr “Do or Die”! He never cared nor does care about the wellbeing of the people. But he didn’t expect the Sri Lankans to show such strength and unity to defend the law! Sri Lanka stay strong!

I can remember when former Chief Justice Shirani Bandaranayake was being impeached and there was a lot of opposition to it, Professor G.L. Pieris kept insisting that the ‘Parliament is Supreme’ and therefore no one can challenge the decision made by the parliament to impeach her. What I want to know is whether the learned professor still believes that ‘Parliament is Supreme’?

Why are the people of Sri Lanka so passive? If they want to keep their Democratic Rights then isn’t time for less talk and more action?

You have an elected legitimate PM – he should have the Police move in and arrest the fake PM and his henchmen.

Doing nothing is not protecting Democracy imho. Doing nothing will lead to a Dictatorship.

Overthrowing a legimately elected Government is called TREASON in my book.

I don’t know what. Fridays are getting crucial. Two policemen were killed mysteriously yesterday (Friday.)
Next Friday (7th) is the day to deliver the judgement on President’s tyrannic move to dissolve the Parliament.
    Warning bells are ringing again!
Karuna openly warned people to remember that he was a Provincial hardcore terrorist leader prior to 2004. He should’ve been arrested for this statement. The results for not doing so was seen in Vavunathivu just in two days after Karuna’s warning.
Despite everybody’s belief and Mahinda’s and Gotabhaya’s bragging, it is obvious that they have failed to rehabilitate Karuna Amman properly.
This is no joke. Batticaloa LTTE faction has risen its head!!!
We are passing the most crucial period in Sri Lanka’s political history. President’s attempt to leave the Legislative Body in tatters was stopped by the Speaker single-handedly. We should be proud of Speaker’s unswerving resolve to protect democracy, traditions and the dignity of Parliament.
President is not someone who could be trusted. He changes his word at the drop of a hat.
In the meantime, Karuna’s statement should not be taken light.
Not only the Speaker, even the Chief Justice should review and enhance security measures to protect their lives, as they both hold Sri Lanka’s future, stability and peace.
This is the reason I don’t support the political conspiracy hatched by the President. As seen everywhere in the world, political conspiracies are always followed by inevitable assassinations, imprisonments, instabilities and anarchy.
Next week is decisive for Sri Lanka.
All eyes in the world are on Sri Lanka’s preeminent Supreme Court which is the only hope for all law abiding citizens who wished to see President’s unconstitutional PERSONAL decisions are revoked and the Constitution, democracy and people’s mandate are being uphold and respected, irrespective of who rules the country.

      Champoo..

You have been changing your mode of thinking day by day. we ve been hurt as if we are just being hurt by a knife on and on.

Agree with you with the followings:

      Quote
We should be proud of Speaker’s unswerving resolve to protect democracy, traditions and the dignity of Parliament.
President is not someone who could be trusted. He changes his word at the drop of a hat.
      Unquot

      Disagree:

If you are still in the view that Rajakshe is clean and he does not know anything about this conspiracy
I do resepect him as the leader whose found the end to long driven civil war, but no special repsect having studied the bugger et al has been doing to this nation.
We are just caught by their political greedy agenda.

Above all, I hate Rajakshes to have abused LOCAL MEDIA BUSINESS men not allowing them making a balanced opinion among the GRASS eating majority folks.
People in southern and other areas behave as if they are no better to NORTH KOREANS.
We know how those koreans were made to believe and mourned in the funeral of Kim ‘s father. More you cried, more respect you earned in that SOCIETY.

I haven’t changed a word from my initial opinion about the matter.
From the very beginning I strongly opposed to President’s coup d’état, even before people like you had the guts to say it openly.
I wish to reiterate the fact that, despite my opinion on President’s coup d’état, I still support the former President. There is no change. However, I reserve my right to oppose or criticize him as and when his actions go against my principles.
Yes, I stand by what I said since October 26. MR was appointed by the President. He didn’t appoint himself.
Irrespective of party politics, I give my full support to the Speaker for his relentless strive to preserve age old constitutional conventions, Parliamentary practices and rules which are vital contributory factors in protecting democracy in the Parliament.

          Champawati,

I have many times asked you a question that if you are having a habit of studying Colombo media.

Yes, I stand by what I said since October 26. MR was appointed by the President. He didn’t appoint himself.

Did you read in the media what he replied to 15 SLFP MPs went to ask him to resign? If you have can you write down it here below? Can you tell me who sacked him from SLFP and why he ended up joining Slap Party.? He thought he had got out of all local and international cases just with the snatch of a finger. But now he has come to know that is not so easy.

Don’t be a baba to thinking that you can fool anyone. You are fooling only yourself and your boss whom has sent you here.

I read news. But I never believe unverified news, like you.

              Champawati,
” But I never believe unverified news, like you. “
General rule to treat a news believable or not is based on when Media reports a reader unverifiable accusation on a person, he/she denies it or even go to court. This is democratically established norm for only verifiable reports are getting reported. Going beyond this general contention and establishing a private standard is overly to self-serve a private need.
NYT released the world to see China had funded Old King to contest in election. Those are locals CID’s documents. That is what one calls as verified news. Why have you not written here asking election commissioner, based on those facts, baring Old King from standing any future election? Did you read that news?
The past election Moto of Sinhala Parties to their constituents is that they would suppress and eliminate any investigation on the war crimes committed. The 2015’s well known is “No Leader, No Commander, No Soldier will be investigated”. This motto is clearly indicates this is food and inducement to people take dishonest, fake & pretentious contention of they don’t believe the unverified. When an honest person foots on believing news only on 100% verifications of news & set out his/her opinion heard on public forums, and see that as an election promise to suppress all the crime investigations on them to be suppressed, then he/she has to immediately demand to investigate and release the information.
Well, it has been many times verified by Slap Party & SLFP personals that the one you investigated and ensured and then “opposed to President’s coup d’état” was staged to protect the War Crime and other common criminals. You may attempt to discount the specific news that Old King had said to consider his family’s precarious situation to the SLFPyers asked him to reign as under a general contention of yours “you don’t believe unverified news”.

To those who think that Champa is inconsistent: S/he is not.
        .
I frequently find myself in absolute disagreement about most of what s/he is saying, but this is one of he few persons whose comments are not controlled by others, or who says what she feels will be personally beneficial to her.
        .
Such people are welcome to me; they say what they feel as honestly as possible.
        .
I still think that her Nationalism/ Patriotism borders on racism, but her honesty makes all that she says valuable.

Champa- You are thoroughly confused with the current constitution and I do not blame you as this piece
of document is shredded many a times by our successive govts. from time to time to suit their wimps and fancies, unlike in other countries. Take our neighbor and big brother India.and have you heard of them meddling with the constitution now and then to add or delete clauses to suit their wishes to crush the policies of the opposing parties. The Indians pay respect and treat their constitution as their”Bagawath
geetha” and the British treat this as their ‘bible’ but Sri Lankans treat this book of guidance as a prosti
-tute.Listen to the political pundits who write in this esteemed column and learn how democracy and rule of law play a major role in administrating of a country.
You must understand that this country, one time called the ‘Pearl of the Indian ocean’ belongs to the people of Sri Lanka and does not belong to the elite or anybody’s father of this country. Champa, after
the recent coup to destroy democracy in this country, you and me should not wait a day longer but should go for a fresh election, with the blessings of the Supreme Court and vote a new party with educated young blood and say a final good bye to the old two major parties who ruined this country since Independence. All what they brought is “Sinhala only act’ which created division in the country and in the process, scores of youngsters lost their lives on both sides due wrong handling of govt. affairs.

I have JVP & TNA (Anura/Sumanthiran as leaders) in mind. They see eye to eye on many common issues
and they do not discuss communal politics. Muslims & Upcountry Tamils too have good young leaders and they should unite to form an solid alliance. like TNA and form a coalition with the above two parties.
