First Sri Lankan Killed In Syria With ISIS: Investigate And Punish All – Muslim Council Tells Sirisena

The Muslim Council of Sri Lanka has today called upon the President Maithripala Sirisena and the Government of Sri Lanka to conduct a thorough investigation, punish all who may have violated the laws of the land, and ensure that no more Sri Lankans are misled in to joining any terrorist movement.

Writing to the President the Muslim Council of Sri Lanka said; “The Muslim Council of Sri Lanka, on behalf of the Muslim Community expresses its deep dismay at media reports of the first Sri Lankan killed in battle in Syria with IS. This group of extremists who call themselves the caliphate or Islamic State (Formerly known as ISIS) is a threat to Islam and the group violates both Sharia law and humanitarian law.

“Islam is a religion of mercy and tolerance that totally prohibits the taking of innocent lives. There is no theological basis for any crimes to be committed through terrorism or violence. The Muslims of Sri Lanka join Islamic scholars and Muslim leaders around the world to condemn without any reservation the ISIS and its leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi for failing to respect key tenants of Islam. Their actions are un-Islamic and inhumane.

ISIS Sri Lanka“While we wish to emphasize that these are actions of misguided individuals, we call upon Your Excellency and the Government of Sri Lanka to conduct a thorough investigation, punish all who may have violated the laws of the land, and ensure that no more Sri Lankans are misled in to joining any terrorist movement.

“As civil society representatives of Muslims, we commit to help in any investigation and action that would be initiated by the government.”

According to the media reports, a karate master from Galewela, known in the Islamic State as Abu Shuraih Sailani (not the real name) who has been reportedly killed in Syria in an air strike last week is said to be the first Sri Lankan member of the ISIS. Abhu Shuraih Sailani, 37, after completing his GCE O/L, has pursued Islamic studies with great zeal mastering Hadith science and continued on contemporary Fiqh (The theory or philosophy of Islamic law, based on the teachings of the Koran and the traditions of the Prophet), completing his LLB in Shariah Law from the International Islamic University in Pakistan.

      Muslim Council of Sri Lanka

“This group of extremists who call themselves the caliphate or Islamic State (Formerly known as ISIS) is a threat to Islam and the group violates both Sharia law and humanitarian law.”

The Muslim Council did not quite call a Spade, a Spade. Here is why.

      1. The so-called ISIS,”Islamic” Sate of Iraq and Syria and ISIL are Not, “Islamic:, but “Iblisic”, is derived from Iblis, Devil, Satan, Shaitan, Licifer and Mara, the Ugly part of humanity.

      2. ISIS is a direct translation of what they call themselves in Arabic, State Islamia Iraq and Syria, ot ISIS in English.

      3. ISIS is another Clone of the Wahhabis and Salafis, who follow the teachings of Abdul Wahab, and who learned from Ibn Taymiah from the 12th Century. They All are inspired by Iblis, Devil, Satan, Shaitan.

      References:

      1. Hadith of Najd

      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hadith_of_Najd

The Hadith of Najd is a famous hadith with several chains of narration about three geographical locations. While all Sunni Muslims accept the group of hadith as authentic, the exact location of the area referred to as “Najd” is disputed.

      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ufxTUFapy1w

So, this Idiot, Moron, Imbecile was tricked by the Iblis, Devil, Satan, Shaitan, by training in Pakistan by the Wahhabi funded Schools and Madrasas to be an Idiot, Moron and Imbecile for the Iblis.

So, Abu Shuraih Sailani, aka Abu Iblis Shaitani, will now rot in hell being alternately toasted in Hel fire and Iblis laughing at him and saying Moron, Idiot, Imbecile, you deserve it along with the other ISIS who wanted 72 Virgins.

Didn’t the Quran warn over 25 times about Iblis and Shaitan, Satan?

They will not get 72 Virgins. They will not not get 72 Raisins either.

Lankan IS Militant Went in Guise of Doing Relief Work

        http://www.newindianexpress.com/world/Lankan-IS-Militant-Went-in-Guise-of-Doing-Relief-Work/2015/07/23/article2935269.ece

COLOMBO:Sharfaz Shuraih Muhsin alias Abu Shureih Seylani (37), the alleged Sri Lankan recruit to the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), who died in an air strike in Syria on July 12, had told his family prior to his departure for the Middle East war zone, that he was going to Turkey to do relief work among the victims of the war.

Hilmy Ahamed of the Muslim Council of Sri Lanka (MCSL) told Express here on Wednesday, that Muhsin’s family appears to have believed him because he had done relief work in Sri Lanka when the tsunami struck the island in December 2004.

“While the immediate family was OK with his going for relief work, his in-laws were opposed to it, even if it was only for relief work. The family had come to know about his death in combat only after someone sent an ISIS video about it,” Ahamed said.

A student of the prestigious Trinity*** College in Kandy and a karate instructor, Muhsin was the Principal of a Muslim-run “International” (or English medium) school in Galewela in Kandy district in Central Lanka till December 2014.

According to Mohammad Sahabdeen Mohammad Samir, the Principal of the school where Muhsin worked, he had told the school that he was going to Mecca on pilgrimage but never came back.

A married man, Muhsin was living in Colombo before he supposedly left for Turkey. He was passionate about Islamic law and had got an LLB in Sharia law from the International Islamic University in Pakistan, Sri Lankan Foreign Minister Ajith Perera said. He acquired the name Abu Shureih Seylani after joining the ISIS. Seylani means a man from Seylan, the Arabic term for Ceylon or Sri Lanka.

        IS Condemned

The MCSL condemned Niram’s involvement with the ISIS and said that the ISIS’s actions are a gross violation of the Sharia as well as Humanitarian Laws. “Islam is a religion of mercy and tolerance that totally prohibits the taking of innocent lives. There is no theological basis for any crimes to be committed through terrorism or violence,” it said in a letter to President Mithripala Sirisena. The MCSL called upon the President to conduct a thorough investigation, punish all who may have violated the laws of the land. Ahamed, however, added that Lankan Muslims believe that the ISIS is a creation of the US and Israel to tarnish the image of Muslims. “There is photographic evidence of a top US leader meeting ISIS leaders in 2011,” he claimed.

***A student of the prestigious Trinity College -3 in 1 and 1 in 3. Iblis Following ISIS Confused him more!

        1+1+1 =1

RE: First Sri Lankan Killed In Syria With ISIS: Investigate And Punish All – Muslim Council Tells Sirisena

RE: What ISIS Really Wants. Why did this Idiot Die?

The Islamic State is no mere collection of psychopaths. It is a religious group with carefully considered beliefs, among them that it is a key agent of the coming apocalypse. Here’s what that means for its strategy—and for how to stop it. Graeme Wood MARCH 2015 ISSUE

      http://www.theatlantic.com/features/archive/2015/02/what-isis-really-wants/384980/

      What is the Islamic State?

Where did it come from, and what are its intentions? The simplicity of these questions can be deceiving, and few Western leaders seem to know the answers. In December, The New York Times published confidential comments by Major General Michael K. Nagata, the Special Operations commander for the United States in the Middle East, admitting that he had hardly begun figuring out the Islamic State’s appeal. “We have not defeated the idea,” he said. “We do not even understand the idea.” In the past year, President Obama has referred to the Islamic State, variously, as “not Islamic” and as al-Qaeda’s “jayvee team,” statements that reflected confusion about the group, and may have contributed to significant strategic errors.

The group seized Mosul, Iraq, last June, and already rules an area larger than the United Kingdom. Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi has been its leader since May 2010, but until last summer, his most recent known appearance on film was a grainy mug shot from a stay in U.S. captivity at Camp Bucca during the occupation of Iraq. Then, on July 5 of last year, he stepped into the pulpit of the Great Mosque of al-Nuri in Mosul, to deliver a Ramadan sermon as the first caliph in generations—upgrading his resolution from grainy to high-definition, and his position from hunted guerrilla to commander of all Muslims. The inflow of jihadists that followed, from around the world, was unprecedented in its pace and volume, and is continuing.

Our ignorance of the Islamic State is in some ways understandable: It is a hermit kingdom; few have gone there and returned. Baghdadi has spoken on camera only once. But his address, and the Islamic State’s countless other propaganda videos and encyclicals, are online, and the caliphate’s supporters have toiled mightily to make their project knowable. We can gather that their state rejects peace as a matter of principle; that it hungers for genocide; that its religious views make it constitutionally incapable of certain types of change, even if that change might ensure its survival; and that it considers itself a harbinger of—and headline player in—the imminent end of the world.

The Islamic State, also known as the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS), follows a distinctive variety of Islam whose beliefs about the path to the Day of Judgment matter to its strategy, and can help the West know its enemy and predict its behavior. Its rise to power is less like the triumph of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt (a group whose leaders the Islamic State considers apostates) than like the realization of a dystopian alternate reality in which David Koresh or Jim Jones survived to wield absolute power over not just a few hundred people, but some 8 million.

We have misunderstood the nature of the Islamic State in at least two ways. First, we tend to see jihadism as monolithic, and to apply the logic of al‑Qaeda to an organization that has decisively eclipsed it. The Islamic State supporters I spoke with still refer to Osama bin Laden as “Sheikh Osama,” a title of honor. But jihadism has evolved since al-Qaeda’s heyday, from about 1998 to 2003, and many jihadists disdain the group’s priorities and current leadership.

Bin Laden viewed his terrorism as a prologue to a caliphate he did not expect to see in his lifetime. His organization was flexible, operating as a geographically diffuse network of autonomous cells. The Islamic State, by contrast, requires territory to remain legitimate, and a top-down structure to rule it. (Its bureaucracy is divided into civil and military arms, and its territory into provinces.)

We are misled in a second way, by a well-intentioned but dishonest campaign to deny the Islamic State’s medieval religious nature. Peter Bergen, who produced the first interview with bin Laden in 1997, titled his first book Holy War, Inc. in part to acknowledge bin Laden as a creature of the modern secular world. Bin Laden corporatized terror and franchised it out. He requested specific political concessions, such as the withdrawal of U.S. forces from Saudi Arabia. His foot soldiers navigated the modern world confidently. On Mohamed Atta’s last full day of life, he shopped at Walmart and ate dinner at Pizza Hut.

There is a temptation to rehearse this observation—that jihadists are modern secular people, with modern political concerns, wearing medieval religious disguise—and make it fit the Islamic State. In fact, much of what the group does looks nonsensical except in light of a sincere, carefully considered commitment to returning civilization to a seventh-century legal environment, and ultimately to bringing about the apocalypse.

The most-articulate spokesmen for that position are the Islamic State’s officials and supporters themselves. They refer derisively to “moderns.” In conversation, they insist that they will not—cannot—waver from governing precepts that were embedded in Islam by the Prophet Muhammad and his earliest followers. They often speak in codes and allusions that sound odd or old-fashioned to non-Muslims, but refer to specific traditions and texts of early Islam.

To take one example: In September, Sheikh Abu Muhammad al-Adnani, the Islamic State’s chief spokesman, called on Muslims in Western countries such as France and Canada to find an infidel and “smash his head with a rock,” poison him, run him over with a car, or “destroy his crops.” To Western ears, the biblical-sounding punishments—the stoning and crop destruction—juxtaposed strangely with his more modern-sounding call to vehicular homicide. (As if to show that he could terrorize by imagery alone, Adnani also referred to Secretary of State John Kerry as an “uncircumcised geezer.”)

But Adnani was not merely talking trash. His speech was laced with theological and legal discussion, and his exhortation to attack crops directly echoed orders from Muhammad to leave well water and crops alone—unless the armies of Islam were in a defensive position, in which case Muslims in the lands of kuffar, or infidels, should be unmerciful, and poison away.

The reality is that the Islamic State is Islamic. Very Islamic. Yes, it has attracted psychopaths and adventure seekers, drawn largely from the disaffected populations of the Middle East and Europe. But the religion preached by its most ardent followers derives from coherent and even learned interpretations of Islam.

Virtually every major decision and law promulgated by the Islamic State adheres to what it calls, in its press and pronouncements, and on its billboards, license plates, stationery, and coins, “the Prophetic methodology,” which means following the prophecy and example of Muhammad, in punctilious detail. Muslims can reject the Islamic State; nearly all do. But pretending that it isn’t actually a religious, millenarian group, with theology that must be understood to be combatted, has already led the United States to underestimate it and back foolish schemes to counter it. We’ll need to get acquainted with the Islamic State’s intellectual genealogy if we are to react in a way that will not strengthen it, but instead help it self-immolate in its own excessive zeal.

      I. Devotion

In November, the Islamic State released an infomercial-like video tracing its origins to bin Laden. It acknowledged Abu Musa’b al Zarqawi, the brutal head of al‑Qaeda in Iraq from roughly 2003 until his killing in 2006, as a more immediate progenitor, followed sequentially by two other guerrilla leaders before Baghdadi, the caliph. Notably unmentioned: bin Laden’s successor, Ayman al Zawahiri, the owlish Egyptian eye surgeon who currently heads al‑Qaeda. Zawahiri has not pledged allegiance to Baghdadi, and he is increasingly hated by his fellow jihadists. His isolation is not helped by his lack of charisma; in videos he comes across as squinty and annoyed. But the split between al-Qaeda and the Islamic State has been long in the making, and begins to explain, at least in part, the outsize bloodlust of the latter.

Zawahiri’s companion in isolation is a Jordanian cleric named Abu Muhammad al Maqdisi, 55, who has a fair claim to being al-Qaeda’s intellectual architect and the most important jihadist unknown to the average American newspaper reader. On most matters of doctrine, Maqdisi and the Islamic State agree. Both are closely identified with the jihadist wing of a branch of Sunnism called Salafism, after the Arabic al salaf al salih, the “pious forefathers.” These forefathers are the Prophet himself and his earliest adherents, whom Salafis honor and emulate as the models for all behavior, including warfare, couture, family life, even dentistry.

The Islamic State awaits the army of “Rome,” whose defeat at Dabiq, Syria, will initiate the countdown to the apocalypse.
Maqdisi taught Zarqawi, who went to war in Iraq with the older man’s advice in mind. In time, though, Zarqawi surpassed his mentor in fanaticism, and eventually earned his rebuke. At issue was Zarqawi’s penchant for bloody spectacle—and, as a matter of doctrine, his hatred of other Muslims, to the point of excommunicating and killing them. In Islam, the practice of takfir, or excommunication, is theologically perilous. “If a man says to his brother, ‘You are an infidel,’ ” the Prophet said, “then one of them is right.” If the accuser is wrong, he himself has committed apostasy by making a false accusation. The punishment for apostasy is death. And yet Zarqawi heedlessly expanded the range of behavior that could make Muslims infidels.

Maqdisi wrote to his former pupil that he needed to exercise caution and “not issue sweeping proclamations of takfir” or “proclaim people to be apostates because of their sins.” The distinction between apostate and sinner may appear subtle, but it is a key point of contention between al-Qaeda and the Islamic State.

Denying the holiness of the Koran or the prophecies of Muhammad is straightforward apostasy. But Zarqawi and the state he spawned take the position that many other acts can remove a Muslim from Islam. These include, in certain cases, selling alcohol or drugs, wearing Western clothes or shaving one’s beard, voting in an election—even for a Muslim candidate—and being lax about calling other people apostates. Being a Shiite, as most Iraqi Arabs are, meets the standard as well, because the Islamic State regards Shiism as innovation, and to innovate on the Koran is to deny its initial perfection. (The Islamic State claims that common Shiite practices, such as worship at the graves of imams and public self-flagellation, have no basis in the Koran or in the example of the Prophet.) That means roughly 200 million Shia are marked for death. So too are the heads of state of every Muslim country, who have elevated man-made law above Sharia by running for office or enforcing laws not made by God.

Following takfiri doctrine, the Islamic State is committed to purifying the world by killing vast numbers of people. The lack of objective reporting from its territory makes the true extent of the slaughter unknowable, but social-media posts from the region suggest that individual executions happen more or less continually, and mass executions every few weeks. Muslim “apostates” are the most common victims. Exempted from automatic execution, it appears, are Christians who do not resist their new government. Baghdadi permits them to live, as long as they pay a special tax, known as the jizya, and acknowledge their subjugation. The Koranic authority for this practice is not in dispute.

Brien Holden Vision Institute began work in Sri Lanka as a response to the humanitarian crisis created by the 2004 tsunami. Initial interventions were to provide emergency eye care and simply replace people’s glasses that had been lost. Our assumptions of the eye care situation in Sri Lanka couldn’t have been further from what we had imagined. The overwhelming majority of people in tsunami affected areas hadn’t lost their glasses – they’d never owned any in the first place.

Rather than just criticising ISIS Muslims all over the world should fight against it by taking up arms. Dear Dr Rifai,

You have stated that ISIS is a product of some third party, which could be Israel, Saudi Arabia or USA and ask us to consider “how IS overthrew Iraq army and occupied a large part of Iraq and Syria.” You point out that the USA sponsored the Taliban and Jihadis in Afghanistan in the war against the Russians in the 1980s, and that the USA “reaps the benefits of wars”. You’ve done this with a series of rhetorical questions, which I may be able to shed some light on:

“ISIS is a product of some third party. It could be Israel or Saudi or USA. consider how IS overthrow Iraq army and occupied a large part of Iraq and Syria. Where did weapon and manpower to do this so quickly? who supported them? In Middle East so many proxy war take place between Isreal, Saudi, Iran and so on groups. USS and its allies play war games with it. USA want reaps the benefit of all wars.”

ISIS has gone through various name changes, as it grew in ambition from an Islamic State in Syria (ISIS) to a global Islamic State (IS) or caliphate. It is a megalomaniacal enterprise based on a distorted concept of waging jihad through conquer of the infidel lands. The Muslim scholars and academics are all distancing themselves from the barbaric acts of ISIS, saying that it is contrary to the teachings of the Koran. I have heard Muslim scholars explain that jihad is about fighting the evil within oneself and other such innocuous interpretations of jihad.

It would be great if Muslims around the world interpreted jihad in this way; the problem is that the Koran (which is accorded more credibility in Islam than the Christian Bible is in modern day Christianity, which tends to ignore the brutal laws of the Old Testament) has been translated in Saudi Arabia from Arabic into English with the following interpretations:

“Jihad: Holy fighting in the Cause of Allah or any other kind of effort to make Allah’s Word (i.e. Islam) superior. Jihad is regarded as one of the fundamentals of Islam.” (p.989)

This is not a good introduction to the concept of jihad, when coupled with the interpretation of jihad on page 1055:

“To get ready for Jihad includes various kinds of preparations and weapons [tanks, missiles, artillery, aeroplanes (air force), naval ships (navy), etc. and the training of the soldiers in these weapons] are all included under the meaning of ‘force’ (i.e. land-force, navy and air-force). And to look after (take care of) the permanent forces as well as the stationed forces similar to looking after the mobile forces.”

The brackets are in the text, and not my own additions. It is obvious that this interpretation of the Koran and jihad is a product of modern times – specifically the product of the Islamic scholarship of Dr Muhammed Taqi-ud-Din Al-Hilali and Dr Muhammed Muhsin Khan, both of the Islamic University in Al-Medina, Saudi Arabia. Al-Hilali has a PhD from Berlin (Germany) and this edition of the English-Arabic version of the Koran (and its interpretation) was published in 1993 and printed in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

This is obviously on of the sources of the Jihadist brainwashing – Saudi Islamic academia.

You have also asked us to consider the funding and weapons supply of ISIS. It is well known that ISIS emerged from the Western-backed war against Syria, which hosts Russia’s Mediterranean fleet, and whose regime had been under attack for several years. The weapons were supplied through Turkey, with finance from Saudi Arabia and the Qatar and the other gulf states, from media reports. We know for a fact that France and other NATO countries were supporting so-called “moderate rebel groups” (such as the ‘Free Syrian Army’) against the Assad regime. President Assad warned about this in an interview given to American TV a couple of years ago, which you may find of interest:

      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8s8UrZhkJRQ

I don’t have any reason to believe that Israel has anything to do with ISIS. One of Barack Obama’s first actions as president was to authorise a massive weapons contract with Saudi Arabia. I think that’s where the attention should be focused to comprehend this militant approach to “jihad” that you have called “the devil force of IS”.

Term Jihad had more than 20 meanings in Islamic sources. It has been used and misused by many people. You could find reference to many deeds, string to help your parent is one form of Jihad in Islam, looking after poor is a from of Jihad, striving to purify ones heart is another form of Jihad, preaching a good is another type of Jihad, struggling against injustice is another form of jihad, standing up against injustice is another form of jihad, Struggling against capitalism is another form of jihad.
so, according Islam Jihad is more than one form of fighting. You translated Quranic verses wrongly to say Jihad is a Holy war? where did get this translation? Holy war is Arabic is al-Harb Al-Muqaddass. So, the war is mentioned as Qithal in Quran.Only in a few time. But look all other religious books, you will have fighting as normal way of life in all other religious texts, before you choose and pick up from Quran in isolation do a comparative study on war and peace in all religions, you will find Islamic law regulate war more than any other texts.
DO not kill innocent, do not kill children, Do not destroy churches, do not kill women, do not kill elderly people.
This is what Islamic ethics tells about principles of war.
Now do not tell what IS is doing now? they do not follow Islamic teaching at all nor in war nor in peace.
yet, tell me who killed most human beings in history? Is it Muslims or is it Christians?

Who Bombed Japan killing in thousands in WW11?
Who killed 6 millions in WW1?
        Who killed Millions in WW11?
Who killed millions in colonization of third world?
Who killed millions in Spanish wars?
Who killed millions in salve trades of African people?
Who killed millions In Roman wars?
It is all your so called christian people.
now, of course, some Muslim fanatics these killings
yet, who provide them with weapons. Isn’t it American who sell annually $ 6 billion weapons?
Who got the most of Nuclear weapons today? isn’t western power?
who threat world peace today with weapons of mass-destruction?
you just need one more Hitler to destroy the entire humanity.

          Dear Dr Rifai,

You have asked where I got the translation:

“You translated Quranic verses wrongly to say Jihad is a Holy war? where did get this translation? Holy war is Arabic is al-Harb Al-Muqaddass.”

The translation I provided is not my own – as I said, it was by Dr Muhammed Taqi-ud-Din Al-Hilali and Dr Muhammed Muhsin Khan, both of the Islamic University in Al-Medina, Saudi Arabia. Al-Hilali has a PhD from Berlin (Germany) and this edition of the English-Arabic version of the Koran (and its interpretation) was published in 1993 and printed in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Your explanation that Jihad means many things (including obviously good actions such as looking after the poor) confirms that this militaristic Saudi academic interpretation of jihad (about arming oneself with modern weapons and developing one’s armed forces) is coming from Saudi Wahhabi scholarship at the University of Medina, being exported to the rest of the world (I bought this version of the Koran in Melbourne, Australia in 1995).

I can add to your list of crimes that have been committed in the name of Christianity and by supposedly Christian nations (including the Crusades and the Inquisition), and rejected the religion when I was in my teens, when I found out more about its history. I think you are correct to say that many more people have been killed by Christians than Muslims over the centuries; I’m certainly not going to defend Christianity, though I was born into it.

“Term Jihad had more than 20 meanings in Islamic sources. It has been used and misused by many people”

          Yes. Agree.

Can you dig further into the actions of Iblis, Satan, Shaitan, Devil, Lucifer and Mara, mentioned over 25 times in the Quran?

The ISIS issue is an Iblis, Satan, Shaitan Issue. Why?

Because they are followers of the Devil. Given below are the references. Why are the Muslims hesitating to call a duck a duck, when there are so many citations in the Quran and Hadith regarding ISIS, Wahhabis, Salafis and Najadis, the Horners?

          References:

          1. Hadith of Najd https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hadith_of_Najd

The Hadith of Najd is a famous hadith with several chains of narration about three geographical locations. While all Sunni Muslims accept the group of hadith as authentic, the exact location of the area referred to as “Najd” is disputed.

I wont say this guy was misguided, any one with reasonable intelligence has the ability to make calculated decisions towards his actions.
Death of this dick head is good news, I wish the whole lot more ISIS will get wiped off ASAP.
The savagery they carryout is unimaginable and totally against all human values.
I wont blame any western powers for ISIS actions, it’s the leadership of ISIS which make decisions. Killing of another human utilizing inhumane methods, using children to carry out executions are crimes which should not go unpunished.

      1. Using your common Sense and Reason, in your opinion, who would do that?

God fearing Muslims? No. Normal Muslims, Orthodox Muslims? No.

      Then who will do that?

Iblis, Satan, Shaitan, Devil, Lucifer and Mara following Iblisis.

The Ottoman Turks accurately called the Wahhabis. The Wahhabis did not like the term, and called themselves Salafis. Some call them Najadis or Horners. Does not matter what you call them, it is their Iblis Ideology, as they are the agents of the Devil, Iblis.

        Amare,

I agree Muslim council rather than churning out the usual jargon, they should have condemned the ISIS and those foreign fighters who go there to kill and rape.

I am intrigued by your suggestion MARA as iblis follower, I never thought of it in that angle. It’s possible the iblish side of him took over when he attempt to assault one of his Baiya. Most unfortunate thing is friends in my FB a MARA supporter is trying to justify the attack. It’s ironic how blind these people are .

The Bad news is that ISIS is creating havoc Globally, and the Muslims are refusing to call ISIS Iblis followers.

Iblis has tricked ISIS and their Clones ( Wahhabis) just the same way, Iblis, the Serpent, tricked Adam and Eve in Heaven.

It is a matter of Degree only with MARA and ISIS.

            http://www.godandscience.org/doctrine/adam_with_eve_at_fall.html

Was Adam With Eve When She was Deceived by the Serpent?

            Introduction

Was Adam with Eve at the time the serpent (Satan in the form of a snake)1 deceived her about eating the forbidden fruit? Another page about Satan on this site off-handedly says “We don’t know where Adam was at the time of Satan’s temptation.” Another believer, Claretta, challenged me on what had seemed obvious to me—that Adam was AWOL at the time Satan approached her. However, Claretta pointed out that Genesis 3:6 says, “…she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it” (emphasis added). If one only reads that part of the story, it would seem like an open and shut case that Adam was with her the whole time. However…

The Fall? Was Adam really with Eve at the fall?
            The serpent’s deception

Let’s first look at the passage in context, so we can see what it really says:

1Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the LORD God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?” 2The woman said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, 3but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.'” 4″You will not surely die,” the serpent said to the woman. 5″For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” 6When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it. (Genesis 3:1-6)

The first clue can be found in verse one. It says that the serpent was “more crafty than any of the wild animals the LORD God had made.” Would it be considered “crafty” if the serpent had approached both Adam and Eve at the same time? I think not. It would make more more sense trying to entice them one at a time. From the sequence of verses presented, it seems as if the action is continuous from the serpent’s deception until Eve eats the fruit. However, verse six begins with “when,” implying that the preceding conversation might have happened some time before Eve actually went to the tree in the middle of the garden. The next thing we notice about the passage is that Adam is not mentioned until he is presented with the fruit to eat. If he was really with Eve and the serpent, why didn’t he say anything? You would have thought he would have at least supported his wife when she mentioned about God saying not to eat of the fruit.2 The absence of any input from Adam seems suspicious.

The Muslim Council of Sri Lanka calls upon the President to “ … ensure that no more Sri Lankans are misled in to joining any terrorist movement.”
Could the members of the MCSL enlighten us as to what steps the President could possibly take in this regard ?
An individual becomes a ‘terrorist’ only when he formally becomes a member of a declared ‘Terrorist Organization’.
So how does the President identify a Muslim Terrorist before he becomes a terrorist ?
Rather than placing the responsibility of preventing the emergence of such Muslim Terrorists on the President and the GOSL, should the MCSL not try to rally the Muslim Community to take pre-emptive action in this regard ?

Fully agree with you Fahim. There are thousands out
there who have no other jobs to do except calling the
Muslims to darkness and training them to ignore what
the world has to offer them .They give interpretations
to Koran in whatever ways suitable to the situation to
escape responsibility and to prove that ” we are right
in all and any situation.” They are even bypassing the
advice given by the prophet to maintain a middle path
in life. Mosques of different schools of thoughts have
come up in large numbers all over the country creating
confusion about Islam among not so educated young and
equally the older generations. We must understand that
we are living in a country of Democracy that has given
freedom to practice religions. All religions. And
whoever is trying to plot against that freedom in this
land, must be brought to books.Vulnerable Muslims must
      be warned of these developments.

    Dear Muslim Council of Srilanka,

You made an urgent request to President & the Govt of Srilanka to conduct a thorough investigation and punish all who may have violated all those who may have violated the laws of this land. Unfortunately, the history about conducting thorough investigation and punishing those who may have violated the laws of the land has been never an issue in Srilanka. There is an open unwritten Govt. policy in this subject and I do not want to mention it here. God Knows it!

ISIS is a oganization created by the big economy countries to destabilize the middle east. ISIS threat is spread all around middle east, so that the state of isreal will be safe from any attacks.

    Its actually called

IS considers women as ‘slaves’ to all men, and prevents education of females.
Women are ‘sold’ while stripped naked, in ‘auctions’.
Many women who volunteered to join IS are ‘married’ to IS members against their wish and realise too late, their foolishness.
IS murders those who oppose its beliefs, and those who profess other religions, in horrible ways – even burial/burning alive, beheading, crucifixion, cutting off limbs etc.
“sharia law” has no place in modern justice systems.

Sri Lanka should condemn IS, and punish all persons who express sympathy with IS.

rmer president Mahinda Rajapaksa, who is contesting the upcoming general election from Kurunegala, cannot cast his vote there, say elections commissioner’s office sources.

He is a registered voter in Hambantota district, and he can only vote there. Although Rajapaksa is hoping to obtain a high number of votes from Kurunegala, which is the home to most of the armed forces personnel, opinion surveys show that Wayamba chief minister Dayasiri Jayasekara is way ahead of him.

Commenting about this to ‘Lanka News Web’, a SLFP senior said leaders should contest not from areas where they can win easily. True leaders think about the party first, not about themselves. Mahinda should have contested from a district like Kandy where the SLFP is weak. That is the way of true leaders. Or else, he should have contested from his usual Hambantota. This is like Mahinda has fled to Kurunegala as he feared Sajith. Now, he will have to come second to Dayasiri in Kurunegala too.”

I hope for this Moron’s worthless death his poor children and family would not suffer. He’s got 7 children did he have a slightest knowledge of his responsibilities towards his children? This is what happen when a community is left headless, if we look at Sri Lankan muslims plight we are all like a “Gala kadagaththu harak relak wage” there’s no control, no discipline, there’s not process, especially from the side where the community get preached.. most of those become Imam’s and Aalim’s in mosques are discards and dropouts of schools or those with severe behavioral issues.. when they get to a Madrasa (they are taught of mostly of Hadeed’s or islamic narratives of prophets preachers and the Koran) and when they get out as Imam’s and subdued individuals from who they were, 98% of them lack knowledge of fellow communities, culture, traditions, economy, politics etc.. Its true that those who are wearing Hijab’s and fully covered veils especially 10 years ago too were there but not this many, we live in a multicultural society, its true that muslim’s in Sri Lanka have been so tolerant have been so patient with all the balasena’s harassments, a few worked up Morons like the one in question could put our whole country’s future in a jeopardy, before its too late Law enforcement authorities and islamic organisations must take all measures to tighten these loose ends. All races considered Muslims in Sri Lanka should have one body to represent them, all imam’s in mosques who preaches should go through strict examination processes and a team of scholars should endorse any Imam’s to start go public and preach.. All religious preachers, should empasise the importance of co existence and the importance of general studies and why education benefits them. I have also lived in slums, I still visit very distant relatives living, what I have witnessed is that many live in these slums watch TV almost 12-15 hours a day, you can easily find a mosque for every 200 households, imam’s of these mosques have little or no clue of those living in these slums, every single sermon would be based on quotes and narratives written 1000 years ago with little or no relevance to present day’s affairs.. A good, knowledgeable preacher may visit these communities note down areas of improvements and address them during his sermon and may also monitor progress.. As a Sri Lankan I also think there is no harm for muslims to learn and be thorough with Sri Lankan culture and traditions, if we look at, no country in the asian region has a colurful and vibrant tradition as in Sinhala culture and traditions.. instead of following Saudi Arabia why not follow Sri Lankan sinhalese culture while keeping your faith and community traditions intact, let your children to learn about Kandyan dances, recite poems in Sinhalese if you can do this in Arabic and Tamil why not also in Sinhala.. I also think that peace loving buddhists too has a role to play to revive this neglected undirected community that I think are lost in religious direction.. My sincere prayers for the wellbeing of this man’s children. May allah’s blessing be only wit his wife and children! Let us all hope this man would be the first and the last muslim from Sri Lanka to take this path.. Aameen..

Muslims are well connected with other communities in the
country and fluent in Sinhala language. For your
information Ifti, in the industry of music, one of the
popular and best Sinhala song writers is a Muslim and
in the recent past we produced most popular Singers
and musicians in the Sinhala music industry.Muslim
community is already comfortably mixed with other
communities except for the religious extremists, with
the blessings of bankrupt politicians from all hues
trying to disturb this amity for their survival. Some
are vying to be champions of the course and these are
the most dangerous people everybody has to be on the
alert about. Srilanka is not new to race related
troubles and now it’s becoming Muslim’s turn to be in
the hot water. If a dark shadow is working behind the
scene to hinder Srilanka’s progress by creating
religious tensions, our intelligence services should
be able to deactivate them and to this end , it’s so
important to ask the top to investigate it , find if
anyone else is involved and act decisively.

When most of the Muslims consider urdu is their mother tongue and craving to get punished by the sharia law we should expect a huge clash on sunni against Shia Muslims in Sri Lanka. Well good luck with the unity and the brotherhood.

If he had done his whatever in law and has mastered the Hadith, what made him join IS? It’s like Richard Dawkins coming out as a Muslim. Internet propaganda, I feel isn’t an impulse great enough for this fart to denounce his ‘faith’ as per the sane Muslims. Jihad has reached the shores of Mother Lanka and we must find its ether or otherwise our necks will pay the ultimate toll.

ISIS is fighting to get back their rights, their lands, and their resources which have been squandered .

There are thousands of Muslims who are Foreign Citizens now fighting for the ISIS.

ISIS has no issue with Srilanka which is a predominantly a Sinhala Buddhist Nation.

And the great majority of Srilankan inhabitants have no issue wit ISIS either.

And it must stay that way.

If Muslims in Srilanka who have empathy for their fellow Muslims want to join the ISIS, that is their call.

Aren’t the total Muslim inhabitant population under the SLMC. Baththudeen , Assath Sally , Muzzamil , Kabir Hassim ?.

Shouldn’t these Leaders be taking care of this issue, rather than involving a Sinhala Buddhist President?.

UNP , Muslim , and even Diaspora supporters here hate the Sinhala Buddhits to the max , even going by some of the comments here.

The person in question, or even future recruits of ISIS are no threat to our great majority of the inhabitant population.

So why would this Council is trying to get every one involved through the President?.

Has the Muslim Council got a hidden agenda to turn the ISIS against out Sinhala Buddhist President and the great majority Sinhala Buddhist population?.

It is a shame that there is a handful of misguided Muslims especially youth in our country, that have been influenced by others from other lands that do not have their best interest at heart. ISIS comes from a very murky background, and there are rumours that they were trained by Israel. We shall never know the truth at this point. ISIS is a band of murderers who behead more Muslims than others, causing terror among people in the nations they invade, and killing women and children without conscience, totally going against the true teachings of the Holy Quran.
Mosques in Sri Lanka should make sure they teach the youth that it is against the religion to kill innocent people, terrorizing them, and that ISIS is simply using the religion to massacre innocent civilians, steal, and own oil fields. Our youth should not be foolish as to be used as tools in this dangerous game.

Sri Lankan Muslims must not allow influences from other extremist nations and groups that still adhere to centuries old laws like stoning people to death, beheading them, or causing suffering to their fellow men, to poison minds or misguide them, and they must show it will not be tolerated here. The extremists influences should not be allowed to change our way of life. Sri Lankan Muslims have always been secular, tolerant, and lived in harmony with other religions, and should remain this way.

For his affiliation to ISIS, he swallowed the bitter pill. How about ”Gnanasara” who is a Buddhist terrorist and has a terror connection in Burma and contesting for parliament who is enjoying all the privileges the previous racial government showered on him???

@amarasiri, ‘muslims are threat to world peace let alone SL’ is what seen and the rest edited out. If @elakolla distinguished fanatic muslims I would not have bothered to comment with @seelawathi and see how uncivic churlish his briyani comment he may say next for a sexual favour she writes pro-muslim (!)
