      Exactly.

I welcome that day in Sri Lanka.

PS: Are you just as excited for such days in courthouses all across Washington DC or London? Or are your Western heros exempted? Just wondering.

Typically stupid comment coming from a poorly-disguised camp follower of you-know-who. The Blairs and Bushes of this world deserve similar attention but, pending their arrival at the Hague, I’ll settle for starting with Rios Montt. How about you and your heroes, buddy?

Let it be anyone. But TIME will catch them one day and compel them to pay for their crimes before they leave this earth.

HOPE THE BEST … THE DAYS OF RAJAPAKSHES WILL NOT BE THAT FAR…

THAT IS MY WISH – since we the innocent lankens deserve a great leader with human values. MR and the bunch are killing minded, corruption willing, cold murderers. IC has to study all the crime investigations handled by them in the very recent past in the country. Their performance are beyond any other leaders^ currently int he world. They are just dead silent before and after any perpetrations leaving more time to mobilise against their rebuttal. Gottabaya Rajapakshe is not even suitable as a the country^s hang man – if one would interview him for that positin, but he is placed above the law prevailing in the country today. One would then ask what laws still in action when looking at the manner they treat the innocent people of this country.

    Aney Apochchi!

He massacred tens of thousands of fellow Adhivasis (indigenous people).

You must be a very very, very ….stupid man/woman/person to expect justice from a courthouse in Sri Lanka.

Is there anyone who has the courage and honesty to stand up to war criminals?

        hahahaha
If Ranil comes to power, he cannot go to any “judiacial process” because he too be hel for many murders. His ally the LTTE already killed who ever senior to him in the UNP.

Further the Mayans of Gautamala are not the same LTTE criminals! Because the LTTE goons and their supporters who have become “human rights champions” after the defeat of the LTTE only.

Further more Spanish are invaders and still follow a policy of destroying the Naive populations in their colonies.

But the story of Sri Lanka is other way round. Gopalasamy and Saimon Sebastian are crying for EELAM!

“Further more Spanish are invaders and still follow a policy of destroying the Naive populations in their colonies.”

Oh well it seems Tamils and Sinhalese are angels from heaven and not invaders of this island.

Tamils invaded and Sinhala is “resident” to Sri lanka only in the world.

Bhikku Mahanama talked about Kings and Queens and nothing about the population already lived.

Ganges Valley Civilization created the concepts of King, Kingdom, warriors etc. Then the invasions of warriors occured everywhere.

All the Sinhalese and Tamils never descended from any ROYALS of theirs!

But Sinhala never existed in Indian main land except few traces in Kearala.

          HAHAHA Sivananthan;

Gopalasamy, Saimon Sebastian, even so called HAHAHA Sivanantahan[another goon axx licker] also not get EELAM.

because Sri lanka’s civil war was won by srilankan’s.
BY THE WORKING PEOPLE OF SRI LANKA, SPENDING THEIR HARD EARNED MONEY FOR UNWANTED WAR.
scrifing so many inocent lives from all the ages and all the races.

          not by the,
SO CALLED SYNTHETIC, UNPATRIOTIC, SHIT EATING JARAPASSA LOOTING CLAN AND KUDU DEALING MORONS.

BUT LOOTING AND EATING FROM PEOPLE’S BLOOD IS NOT SIMPLE THING .

          TELLTHAT TO YOUR PATRONS.

HISTORY SPEEKS ITSELF.THAT IS THE UNIVERSAL TRUTH.

AND THE DAYS ARE VERY NEAR TO PAY FOR ALL THIS BACK.

The UN and ICC system works but slowly and takes years. Those in Sri Lanka also have to face the musics for all their sins. It’s certain they wouldn’t spare them. Things would catch up with them.

      Moris

You are very optimistic about international justice.

Funny. Neither UN nor ICC have caught up with a single Western leader lately.

Both Bush and Blair are having the time of their lives.

But it seems much more clear PRIMA FACIE evidence are there for lanken issues to go against Rajapakshes. All these will come to light in coming days.

THe “coming days” have been coming since 2009. How much longer before they come? And can you point to any prima facie evidence of war crimes that fall under the Hague’s purview?

        0

        Ben Hurling

That may be true except in the former Yugoslavia and Nazi Germany.

However Bangladesh and Cambodia are two recent example of delayed justice for the people who suffered under various dictatorship.

You should do a little bit soul searching now and then for your own good.

Chandrika appointed three Commissions to investigate all atrocities and disappearance from 1987. The three Commissions found the war criminals and named them. Ratwatte stop the state taking them to courts.

But the reports are still with the state. Though most of the crimes were committed under UNP government there is consensus between UNP and SLFP, to protect state actors hence avoiding state prosecution.

What about the the called Sinhala who massacred the native Veddha, Yaksas and Nagas and demonized them?

Because it happened long time ago?

If so why not go after Mara Mafiosos?

Why not go after the True War Criminal and Liar, George Bush on Iraqi war crimes, where 1,300,000 people were killed?
    Because Western? Double Standards?
    UN? League of Nations?

      Do not go too far.

What about the killing of Sinhalaes and tamils that took place during 200 odd years of British Colonisation in Sri Lanka? Anybody is accountable for that? Perhaps the Royal family of UK??

200 years back… was there Amnesty International or UN back then ? Why ? Was even white women allowed vote or work 200 years back.. Did any white Christian priest was blamed for sexual harassment 100 years back.. Time has changed… 90% or 99% children do full time studies for 12 (fuc..) years..

        Amarasiri,
Basic human values, Dasa Kusal or Dasu Akusal haven’t been changed but we, humans, have changed … a quite a lot in last 60-70 years in respect to human/animal rights.. We can’t compare wars, human rights 300 years back and now..

When a fly or cockroach come inside my house, land titles department and my bank mortgage says this is my space and house, but does cockroach or fly knows space or dwelling I bought with paper money… ? Personally, I don’t heart them, but with understanding human cruelty, I lead them move out of house before my wife come back :-) ….
This is how lot of civilized humans think now a days …
        200 years back …. ????

In Latin America Catholic Church is the ally of Spanish invaders. Catholic Church supports the murders.

In Sri lanka catholic Church is the ally of LTTE and LTTE too tried the same against others.

In many such cases Vatican and Rayappu like people to be prosecuted!

    Duminda Regains His Post
    By Indika Sri Aravinda
Parliamentarian Duminda Silva has been reappointed as the organizer for the Sri Lanka Freedom Party in the Kolonnawa electorate.
Minister Basil Rajapaksa was appointed as the SLFP organizer in the Kolonnawa electorate after the Mulleriyawa shooting incident in October 2011 in which Silva was seriously injured.
However now that Silva has recovered and is out on bail he has been given back the SLFP Kolonnawa organizer’s post.
When contacted by The Sunday Leader, Kolonnawa Urban Council Chairman Ravindra Udeshantha said that PRESIDENT MR SPOKE TO HIM AND INSTRUCTED HIM TO GIVE SILVA THE BACKING he needs as he has now been reappointed as the SLFP organizer of the area.
Udeshantha added that no matter what opinions one may have in the party, if the President gives instructions then that is followed to the letter.
When contacted by The Sunday Leader, Duminda Silva’s Coordinating Secretary A. Hewavitharana confirmed that the MP had been given back the Kolonnawa post. He also said that a decision has not yet been taken as to when he will return to parliament.

We need to write all human rights activists to come forward and rally round to protest. This kind of activities are absolutely no go.

Wait and see, how the opposition would react to this :(
