These buggers creep into any political party. Can the UNP rely on such Bums? These buggers should be discarded the moment they are discovered.

It appears to find 226 Honest, Decent, Trustworthy, Educated individuals out of a population of 22 million people, is an uphill task for RW. Can you blame him then?

If you are not blind and not reborn, you should have observed of his deeds in the past and his efforts at the present – RW is the most gentle politician that respect the rule of law and respect, dignity of the society. That is how he has been raised by his parents while the bugger that is born to distroy the nation with his inherited abusive nature further continue it.
None of us who are against MR and thugs – must ask you to see it now – almost day to another many more things becoming clearer – that the ruling president deliberately support abuses to continue.

Each and every party, you will find ones that behave abusive. But so long they are minority – people would not see it. But what wonders me is, even if almost many of the ministers including President of the country have been that ABUSIVE, folks seem to be not even seeing it. Meaning, folks support them further. Just becuase one of few UNP supporter has involved in such events have been louded by the rulers to cover their activities.

People, wake up and fight against abusive Rajapakshe govt.

As they say, “You got that right!” LOL.

Multimillionaire American swine ostensibly “run” for President of the United States as a form of buying their way to official power. The average American fool actually falls for the ploy. No poor or even average American has enough money to “run” for President. It’s a rich man’s game. It’s a con-man’s game. It’s a duping game. It’s a game of SHAME. And the masses eat it up because they know they have no other real options, certainly no real choices.

Buying political office in America is the oldest and the only game in town: It’s a form of sociopolitical deception the mechanics of which are nothing more than a charade in the person of casting a worthless “vote” dressed in the myth of empowerment and enfranchisement of “the working stiff”.

The rich always “run”; the rich always win; the rich always have power; the rich always get the best; and, most of all, the rich always break their promises to the poor fools who voted for them. LOL

At 50 million rupees per election as costs, it’s mostly drug dealers and businessmen who can afford to contest. On the flip side the PR system has taken Sri Lanka back to the classical age of Rome. In days of the Roman Republic only the wealthiest had the means to aspire to the ‘Cursus Honorum’. The wealthiest included a strong criminal element. Whether one was criminal or not depended if one held office or not. In SL there is a similar arrangement.

When thugs get into politics all the educated, capable and good people stay away from politics for fear of thuggery from the rich and powerful thugs. So the public have no choice but to vote for these good for nothing buffaloes.

    I agree with Gamini,

Earlier I also thought that RW is the problem – he stays silent etc, but now It s becoming clearer that the trend of the society today under ruling abusive personalities – becoming worst day to another. In such and atomosphere, how can you blame on RW ?
People of this country accuse RW of the abusive nature of people. Should he be the cause them to be that abusive. In case this UNP law maker would be punished, surely, he would join following day itself to Rulers. Rulers only consist of all kind of abusive personalities like Mervin, Buruwanse, SB, Kehelmal and and and..

Samuel, the likely position will be that MR will be easy on this bugger and will allow him to remain with the UNP and contract him to destabilise RW. RW is not the Law Maintaining body and he will neither try to save or try to pursue him. The day he take the reins to hand he will meet out Justice to all, friend and foe alike.

Gamini, why do you jump to conclusions? Do you really believe what Police say? Couldn’t Police have planted the incriminating stuff in the vehicle after the accident? The entire country knows who the drug barons are and that they are enjoying a free run in the country. Have the Police ever recovered drugs from a vehicle belonging to any of the big-mouthed drug traffickers whose names are household words? Police only salute them! Why don’t we have an open mind until the facts surface?

Saman, I concede that possibility is there. For that matter anything is possible under today’s context. Anyone of us can be in that predicament. These buggers also should act with responsibility.

Gamini, I am afraid you were quick to presume that the MP is guilty because you being a Ranil fan, must be prejudiced against Sajith and you, no doubt, also know that this MP is a very close associate of Sajith. But who would benefit most if Dilip is eliminated from the political scene in Hambantota. Certainly not the UNP.Your guess should be as good as mine!

Gamini, I appreciate your loyalty to Ranil. He is intelligent and a `Mr. Clean’ in politics. He lost a golden opportunity when he allowed himself to be taken for a ride by Chandrika. He could have easily prevented the dissolution of Parliament if he used his wit. He believed the assurance given by Chandrika and let down the party.Do you know when the Parliament was dissolved, several diehard UNPers died of heart attack? The party supporters lost their spirit following his meek surrender. Now Ranil has become the main stumbling block to uniting the fractured the opposition. I believe that he should step down from the party leadership if the slide to a dictatorship is to be arrested.
