After evading arrest for nearly a month, Bodu Bala Sena General Secretary Galagoda Atte Gnanasara surrendered to the Colombo Fort Magistrates court this morning.
Two arrest warrants were issued against the firebrand monk, one in May 25 on charges of inciting religious disharmony and another warrant was issued by the Fort Magistrate last week after Gnanasara failed to appear in court’s over a contempt of court issue. Gnanasara has been evading arrest and has been hiding claiming that there is a conspiracy to assassinate him.

For So called Racist Thug of a Priest Called Gnanasara.. with two arrest warrants surrenders to court after two and is released on bail with no penalty for purging justice in Sri Lanka . and we have the top politicians saying our judges up hold the law to the word. If it was a commoner he will be behind bars without bail.
Western World is all watching this Drama and when the War Crimes cases come up , our judges will be under the table and western judges will be sitting on top of them.

My ancestors have been Buddhists for centuries/at least three as my mother told me more than 50 years ago. During the last 50 years there had been two Buddhists priests in our family educated and tutored by the very famous erudite Nayake Thera Bellana Gnanawimala..We have been his true followers. Since the advent of thugs like Gnanasara I have taken a firm decision not to worship any Buddhist monk, not to attend any temple. I will write a note to my son before I die not to give Paansakoola of my behalf but take my body strait away to the Medical College. I am so disgusted of the Buddist monks included the so called Mahanayakes who are asking us to protect dirty scoundrels like Gnanasara.
