Native,
Native don’t be Negative always. Look, Galagoda Nanasara created New Buddhism in Sri Lanka along with Grease Piya and Saddarmadveepa Chakrawarthi. Now there are no more 3 Sarana as Galagoda Nanasara and Grease Piya introduced “Aba Sarana” and now it is 4 Sarana.
Now it is the right time for our Great Film makers such as Jackson Anthony, Somaratna Balasuriya, Renuka Balasuriya, Jayantha Chandrasiri and other Rajapaksha film makers to produce great films with our Fighting Star Nanasara. They can earn lot of money for the Country by selling those films to foreign Countries.
Native, If one of those great Film makers produce a film with a title of “Enta Da Nanasara” with this great fighter, I am pretty sure it will be a International Hit. Also Native, I am pretty Sure it will break all the Box office records and Nanasara will be a Hero even among Muslim Community.
There are some other names that we can suggest if Rajapaksha Film Makers interested.
Action Movies,
1. Great War at Aluthgama.
2. Ewanda da Nanasara.
3. Operation Maligawatta.
4. Nanasarage Wairaya.
5. Adagena Nanasara.
Love Stories,
1. Nanasara and France Manoja
Native I am Suggesting Dr. Rajitha Senaratna should be ok for Nanasara’s opposite character (Dushtaya) and Sumana Gomas as heroine to act with Nanasara.
All the Films will be produced by Grease Piya and Saddarmadveepa Chakrawarthi. All the Supporting Characters from Police Department and White Van Company and Presidential Security Division.

If this was the case in a civilized country, all state psychologists and the related authorities would have the right to go for a investigation on this particular Ghanasara. Just because he is used to use some kind of buddhist vocabullary – to paint him a buddhist monk, one should not consider as non-criminal. Going thorugh all records that he has collected on the areas of crimes in recent years is more than enough to send the man ( of course after being derobed) for a life imprisonment or life long rehablitation to the very same manner former ltter rebells are being treated.
Why the govt to stay benumb inn this regard is a greater question to locals and foreigners too. He is the one who created all the damage not to a single family but to a hundreds in ALuthgama, those people will never forgive the man in this life. Sinhala, Muslims and others will get unite to see the due justice. That issue is one of the waterloos of MEEHARAKA Rajapakshes regime.
People are very clear that Rajapakshe will be dfeated soon. But the surface polishers like Rohitha and other men will go on boasting their progress while Dr Harscha De Silva and the interleectuals will outreach many among the masses soon. Good luck to our nation.

This is all because of the his testesterone mirror. Guantanabe prisoners have also this kind of behavours but the difference is the man s bond to Rajapakshe family seems to be using as a protective mechanism for Ghanasara s survival.
Alone the man not to agree with lanken ethical codes is enough to take hard actions by rulers. If any other criminals in the crime frinedly society would behave the same way as Ghanasara has been doing – do you guys think that they are set scot free today ? No, that alone proves any dumb or deaf that Ghanasara s reactions from the day one is a plan heavily supported by Rajapakshe siblings.
If anybody with a bird brain would be aware – this govt has no vison and wisdom- nor are the towards people s civilized way of life. They just overshadow issues by telling so called Development projects – but the reality as it is being poointed out by COPE and other analysts- they have already made everyone a begger to this day.
They have gone all levels beyond the tranditional ones, as previous govt carried out in terms taking loans. If they are hearted – they would not have made it in that wway. Development should be there, but not for a price that the average pay for that today. We dont want to become singapore within shorter timeE
Real analysist would see it first the nation and then the country.. Nation and people building should be invested more than building concrete structures. Ballige putha will not get it easily since he has not a brain the size of needle head. pEOPLE have been made fools so that they can live up on their stupidity. That is not democracy but authocraccy

How about Gnanasara the Messiah, sent to save the Sinhala Buddhists from a perceived extinction, which could probably happen in about 10 to 20 years at the rate he is going. There are more Sinhalese Buddhists converting to Islam in ME countries than you know, and more converting to the Chistian faith in Western countries than you can imagine. They all feel Buddhism has failed them and were awaiting the opportunity to escape from the sinking ship. The tsunami has now been set in motion.

“How about Gnanasara the Messiah, sent to save the Sinhala Buddhists from a perceived extinction, which could probably happen in about 10 to 20 years at the rate he is going.”
Christian churches send the missionaries all over the world to serve the people and convert them to Christianity.
Recently a missionary priest was repatriated to Spain from Liberia died in the Madrid hospital. Father Miguel Pajares, 75, had been infected by Ebola virus.
This priest served the people who had already been suffering from Ebola. Yet he served them and died in the service of people.
This is one way of winning the hearts and minds of the people. It worked, works and will work.
The worried Sinhala/Buddhists must leave their comfortable life behind and go to Africa serve them in Ebola corridors and try and win African hearts and mind, then convert them to Sinhala/Buddhism.
Therefore I have chosen few volunteers from CT readership:
Jim softy, Banda, OTC, Mechanic, Ramu, wathie, Trishu, Thondamanar, Ela Kolla, Malinda Seneviratne, Nalin De Silva, Chambika, Ravi Perera, Siva Sankaran Sarma Menon, David Blacker, Paul-iban, Tamodaya, Manoharan, Vibhushana, Abhaya, Dawn Dale, Navin, Bodin,……………..
Hopefully the above volunteers will serve the Ebola victims and eventually the entire dark continent would be enlightened by the selfless service of our Sinhala/Buddhists.
Make sure the volunteers are lead by Gota, Karate kid Galagoda, Rajpal Abeynayake, Mohan Pieris…. and few other prominent Sinhala/Buddhists.
I am only trying to replicate Christian missionaries and wish the Protestant Buddhist well.

Dear NV. I would like to add some more points about your worries of Sinhala race increase: do not blame missionaries of Christianity or Muslim population or conversion of Sinhalese. see what is wrong your race or Sinhalese. It is a firm Muslim faith that God alone gives food provision in life. Human life is in a sense already predestined by God. This does not mean man sits idle doing nothing to make a living and yet, Man can not play around with nature. Birth control for fear of want and poverty is not allowed in Islam because It is God who provides food and livelihood. A family planning in an unnatural way, killing fetus in wombs are Haram in Islam: Millions of abortions are carried out in India and China. The ratio gap between male and female is increasing in India and China. Males in China find it hard to find partners. Same thing would happen to our country as well if we play around with nature or try to meddle with nature. I agree with this writer that it is religious faith that contribute to this population increase. yet, the same religious faith of other religions contribute to the population decrease in other community. take for instance, Buddhism it prohibits Buddhist monks to marry. you may say it is only less 1% of Buddhists are monks and yet, this contributes slightly for the decrease of population in a long run. if you assume that there+ are 400.000 thousands monks today and they are not allowed to marry. This monk population in each generation will not be able to contribute for population growth of Sinhalese. Hence, naturally Buddhist population bound to decrease slowly for this reason. This could be minimal and yet, this could contribute in a long run. For this reason, Buddhist people should rethink about their religious teaching on this matter. perhaps to give permission for monks to marry. This applies to some Christian denominations as well. secondly. today, most of Sinhalese couples are working: Husband and wife go to work. whatever these racists BBS say. those working class people can not produce lots of children: it would be burden on ladies to work and lead family life. Most women want to have one or two children. That is why they can not have big families. This applies to western communities more than Sri Lankan communities. People in churches are too much worried about Christian population decline in western countries and yet, they can not help. Moreover, when women are working they delay marriage age. some girls who go to higher education and employment delay marriage. This is very much common in Tamil and Sinhalese communities: Tamil community is little bit complex in this regard. It is pathetic. please go through some of matrimonial in News papers: due to cast system girls beyond 30 or 35 years old girls do not get married in Tamil community. Hence naturally fertility in Tamil community would go down and it is pointless to blame others for your own faults. get rid of this barbaric caste system and this Tamil girls will have good life: In India if a Husband dies wife has to burn herself. In Sri Lanka too divorcee Tamil ladies will have to go though hard times to remarry second time. It is said Tamil should follow polygamy in marriage to increase population. what a stupid idea is this. you can not copy one cultural life style of other community to do this. first of all, No Muslim in Sri Lankan follow polygamy in marriage: it is only apply in some African and gulf countries. There are some condition attached to this polygamy: you should be financially better off, you should get first wife permission to do and you should be able treat all equally and there some other conditions. I do not think Tamil ladies would be ready for these? yet, polygamy would not increase population rather it would increase: you Tamils people are good maths and you should try to figure it out. I would not tell you how and why? moreover, Buddhist population is decreasing for another reason: that is to say that a large numbers of Buddhist have been converted into Christianity and still are being converted here in Sri Lanka and Abroad. There some fascinating researches on this subject please read them all before you talk about it. It is said that Sinhalese constitutes 74% of Sri Lankan population and it is over exaggerated figure. If you minus Sinhalese Christians Sinhalese Buddhists would be around 65% in Sri Lanka. even if you minus some of those who migrated to western countries I do not think that their next generations would come pure Buddhists as these monks think. Consider for instance, Sinhalese who migrated to Europe most of them today eat Meat. within next two or three generations they would not be Buddhists rather they would be someone else : it could be atheists or agnostics or humanists or Muslims as it happen all over the world. such social changes are taking place around the globe and yet, some of these Buddhists live within four walls of a deep well. Furthermore, family life in Muslim community is little bit different from other community: most of Non-Muslim people drink alcohol: No doubt alcohol destroys a peaceful family life: how could a lady live peacefully with a husband who is alcoholic and Peace will be shattered in those families: Thousands of alcoholic husbands beat their wives when they are drunken. How can these families have lots of children. How could these family bring up good children: how many families are destroyed by this and yet, you can tell comparatively alcoholism is less among Muslims here in Sri Lanka and abroad. this contribute growth of population in Muslim communities. It is argued that one of best institute in Islam is the institution family in Islam: a lots of rules and regulations are stipulated in Islam about family life: hundreds of laws about maintenance, marriage allowance, inheritance and divorces. The institution of family is divinely inspired in Islam. That is why Muslims care about it and this contribute in increase of population as well. One more point. yet, to say that Sinhalese population is decreasing is a really myth. statistics show that it is increasing. but slower than Muslim population: one reason it may be because, farmers in Sinhalese villages are not doing birth control and they have big families and they are very much close to nature and they do not play around with nature. Thanks to them but it is not so called Sinhalese monk or high profile Sinhalese in Colombo and cities who protect Sinhalese race rather poor farmers. it is with great difficulties and hardship that they contribute to the growth and yet, politicians in Colombo do play with their life, cut their subsidiaries and do not help them at all. rather during election time the political parties go to them and beg for their votes and after election they are forgotten. This is Lankan story in politics. Those monks who speak out today they speak for politics not for Sinhalese race. They use race, religion for their own gain.

NV and NASS, On the question of monks fathering children? Definitely not legitimate but a lesser percentage of bastards, which does not create much impact on growth of Sinhala Buddhist population for sure. At the present rate, theirs is a dying breed, and they have no one else to blame but themselves.
With no inducements to conversions to Buddhism on the one hand, and the self imposed celibacy rules for monks on the other, what population boom can they expect in the future to happen? Or do they expect every Buddhist family to donate a male child to the Sasana to keep their breed alive? That too is under threat when people realize the child abuse that goes on in those dens.
The sooner they realize it and introduce corrective measures the better for them, rather than blaming others for their own failings.

“Definitely not legitimate but a lesser percentage of bastards,”
I think we better not use the word bastard as the child was not involved in the decision making process. Man and women made the decision to have sex before conventionally comply to the archaic understanding of man/women, sex and child.
A child should not be punished for the decisions that his/her natural father and mother made.
Can you assure me that your tribes in the past never had children before socially accepted marriage ceremony?
The word bastard has no meaning in this world.
However the absentee father should be made to realise that he cannot abandon his responsibilities as father, even if he is a priest/monk/swamy/………..

Apparently there are about 400,000 Buddhist monks in the country today, which also means an equal number of women without husbands, which leaves 400,000 women surplus, i.e. without husbands. What solution does Buddhism have for all these surplus women? No wonder they get converted and marry men of other faiths. Another slow death to Buddhism in this country, created by none other than their own short sightedness. Why now blame others for their own failures?

This from an Indian ethnic newspaper under the headline “SL’S monk rejects Dalai Lama as spiritual leader” (quote) “Buddhist monk Gnanasara
said the Dalai Lama was ignorant of the ‘true situation in SL’ and accused the Nobel Prize winner of being a victim of “Islamic extremist propaganda” and said he is a creation of the West. For them he is to Buddhists what the Pope is to Catholics, but not for us”
To further quote the paper ” Sri Lanka’s mostly moderate Buddhists hold
the Dalai Lama in high esteem. But successive Colombo governments have denied him a visa to visit pilgrimage sites in the Island, apparently
due to Chinese pressure”
I guess it is ok to invite the Pope to visit his flock in SL but deny
a visa for the Dalai Lama to visit and pray at the Buddhists sites in
Sri Lanka – the land of Buddhism!
What a farce!!!!!!

According to Pali cannon, matters of indiscipline arose amongst his disciples arose even in Buddha’s times
The story:
One day the royal couple looked down upon the river from the palace and saw a group of the Buddha’s monks playing about in the water. The king said to Queen Mallika reproachfully: “Those playing about in the water are supposed to be Saints?” Such was namely the reputation of this group of the so-called seventeen monks, who were quite young and of good moral conduct. Mallika replied that she could only explain it thus, that either the Buddha had not made any rules with regard to bathing or that the monks were not acquainted with them, because they were not amongst the rules which were recited regularly.
Both agreed that it would not make a good impression on lay people and on those monks not yet secure, if those in higher training played about in the water and enjoyed themselves in the way of untrained worldly people. But King Pasenadi wanted to avoid blackening those monks’ characters and just wanted to give the Buddha a hint, so that he could lay down a firm rule. He conceived the idea to send a special gift to the Buddha to be taken by those monks. They brought the gift and the Buddha asked them on what occasion they had met the King. Then they told him what they had done and the Buddha laid down a corresponding rule. (Pac. 53)
So, why are we making such a fuss when one monk is going little off limit by practising some some harmless exercises?. Remember the monks are human too.
The Vinaya passage describing the misbehaviour of the group of six monks includes at the end:
“They indulged in many kinds of bad behavior such as cultivating flowering trees, making them into garlands and sending them to women and girls of respectable families; eating and socializing with women and girls of respectable families; eating after noon; drinking intoxicants; dancing, singing and playing musical instruments; playing various games; training in elephant, horse and cart knowledge; training in archery and swordsmanship; wrestling and fighting; applauding dancing girls; etc.” http://www.dhammawheel.com/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=20225

Actually, the Sinhalese being Aryans are all fair skinned, until they look at the mirror or see their photograph or see their cricket team. This story reminds me of the time the BBS’s sole claim to fame was the presence of “malic acid” in uswatte toffees offered at the No Limit checkout counters. Ignoring the fact that malic acid is found in any ‘kahata’ fruit, we must marvel at the genius of the alleged muslim conspirators, who, according to the BBS, has gone and put an ‘abortion drug’ into the drug, and included said “drug” in the ingredient list!
These buggers are claiming a lot of things, and calling for debates with everyone on this that and the other to bluff and show they have ‘proof’ for claims only a lunatic on heroin could believe. The fact that most of the people who are not drug-users and mental patients in our country believe this shit just goes to show that the 91% literacy rate we Sinhalese are so proud of boasting about when we need to find some redeeming factor in this dog-gone society, has nothing to do with how smart the people actually are.

Do not blame sinhala buddhists and monks for every rape in the world. some other races and religions have mastered this art and taken it to the zenith in many western countries.
Back in May it was reported that every rape assault in the city of Oslo in the last five years had been committed by a person with a “non-Western” background – a Norwegian euphemism for Muslim. Now it turns out that there have already been twice as many rape assaults in Oslo so far this year as there were in all of 2010.

In order for Buddhism to flourish in Sri Lanka, Mahanayakes should rein in some of the monks like Ghanasera thero, who goes on war path
with other religions and leading religious personalities like Dalai
Lama, Bishop Rayappu .Lord Buddha born in India and Buddhism spread from there and he taught “Ahimsa” but some of these Buddhist priests
in Sri Lanka disgrace the religion by using force and hate language and heavily involved in politics. They are found on political platforms and rallies more, than in temples, preaching, these days. Look at some countries like Bhutan,Japan where politics is barred for the priests and they have to line up to get their daily food. Politicians are to be blamed for dragging the Buddhist clergy into politics in SL and old SWRD started it and he unfortunately paid for it with his life.
By reading the above comments, it is understood that most educated Buddhists are feeling shy and angry about what is happening to politicised Buddhism in Sri Lanka and they should correct the situ. with their votes.

Probably he is fine tuning his talent to be used at the “POOJA” on the 17th Sunday 2014 at Puwarama Maha Viharaya at Diggala road off Old Galle Road Sarikkamulla ( Use Google to check location) A highly densed Muslim majority city like Dharga Town, Aluthgama with lot of Factories ex: (Multilac Paint Industries, Lumala Bicycle Industries, Asia Bike Industries, FMJ Plastic Industries, many cottage industries manufacturing Shoes, Slippers, Hand Bags, School Bags, Garments, Hardware items Leather Products and other Businesses owned by Muslims.
He has organized a ” POOJA ” or a “POO JAR” on this day after 6 PM and a crowd of more than 6 thousand is expected. There has been lot of cut-outs and posters that have sprung up in the area concerned.
HOPE… the DEFENSE ESTABLISHMENT has taken adequate measures to stop something like the magnitude of ” Dhargatown ” from happening. Muslims have been instructed by the Masjids to keep away from the streets and for the women not to be moving around.Parents have been advised not to send their daughters for late tution or even for medical needs. Shops have been instructed to close after 4 pm NOT for fear BUT to avoid unnecessary altercations. The Muslim community has TAKEN EVERY STEP TO AVOID A SCENE LIKE WHAT HAPPENED IN DHARGA TOWN FROM HAPPENING…
Let’s wait and see what is in store… for, IF the Defense authorities have NOT taken adequate steps we can expect another 1983.. Mark my words… Dhargatown will be of no importance IF anything of that magnitude happens in and around the venue of this ” POOJA”

If these shenanigans (BBS) try to be funny this time around, they are bound to meet their waterloo, as I know Sarikamulla, Banadaragama and closeby areas in Panadura are definitely strong and no-nonsense Muslim dominated neighborhood, also with a lot of political clout to boot. Anyhow this time around, all self defensive measures by town residents could be in place, with a conscious effort to prevent a repeat of the ‘caught unaware and un/der/preparedness’ situation that prevailed on 15th and 16th June in the Aluthgama/Beruwela fiasco.
Again this Pooja can turnout to be a tinderbox like situation as it will be like taking petrol close to a fire. However, I don’t understand why the government is permitting such destabilizing processes to continue and undermine what is left of its own popularity, including the motives behind these maneuvers.
In my own opinion, I feel it is Gota’s big risk plan to use the Muslim population as scapegoats and to hide behind them to crush the BBS monster he created. Openly doing it will make him unpopular, and a threat on his own life will become very real. Somehow I feel innocent Muslim blood will be spilled again, and a few more Muslim lives sacrificed to satisfy his sadistic ends. He is an ex-army man who revels in the midst of blood, gore and death to prove to himself his relevance.
Lets wait and watch with hands raised in prayer for Allah’s mercy on all those vulnerable Muslim brothers, sisters and their children.

Native,
Native don’t be Negative always.

Bagalawathie Jayathilaka / August 14, 2014

/
NASS / August 14, 2014

“This monk population in each generation will not be able to contribute for population growth of Sinhalese.”
You are assuming that the monks don’t father children.
/
Marwan / August 15, 2014
/
Native Vedda / August 15, 2014

To further quote the paper ” Sri Lanka’s mostly moderate Buddhists hold
the Dalai Lama in high esteem. But successive Colombo governments have denied him a visa to visit pilgrimage sites in the Island, apparently
due to Chinese pressure”
I guess it is ok to invite the Pope to visit his flock in SL but deny

“They indulged in many kinds of bad behavior such as cultivating flowering trees, making them into garlands and sending them to women and girls of respectable families; eating and socializing with women and girls of respectable families; eating after noon; drinking intoxicants; dancing, singing and playing musical instruments; playing various games; training in elephant, horse and cart knowledge; training in archery and swordsmanship; wrestling and fighting; applauding dancing girls; etc.”

Isn’t he a joke.
As a Muslim, I always saw Buddhism in a very positive light. Sad to see it being dragged down to Gnanasara level.

May her soul rest in peace..
A forty seven year old woman doctor who visited a private beauty parlour named ‘Cosmetic Surgery Clinic’ in Bambalapitiya, Colombo today and obtained an injection to improve her looks and to become young and pretty had the misfortune of dying at the beauty parlour itself, police said.

Actually, the Sinhalese being Aryans are all fair skinned, until they look at the mirror or see their photograph or see their cricket team. Then, they realize they are dark skinned Dravidians, like the rest of us. Some amongst us are truly fair skinned because the Portuguese, the Dutch or the English had done the dirty.

BBS Curse ( Anton) / August 15, 2014
BBS has positioned the minds of most Sinhalese ,even the educated ones have swallowed the bullshit.
I was told soon after Ramadan a Muslim lady travelling in a private office service van offered some sweets to a lady who companion in the same Van ,but was prevented openly by her friend from eating eat , The Muslim lady was very heart broken .
My Advice to all the Muslims is we know how you feel, but for your own safety some of our Sinhalese are so damn dumb they will even collaborate with BBS to add something into the food you offer with good intention and get you into trouble ,just like they did with fashion Bug and Darga Town.
Just stick to your long standing Sinhala friends who are still with you ,do not offer anything to Sinhala strangers .

Do not blame sinhala buddhists and monks for every rape in the world. some other races and religions have mastered this art and taken it to the zenith in many western countries.
http://europenews.dk/en/node/63520
Back in May it was reported that every rape assault in the city of Oslo in the last five years had been committed by a person with a “non-Western” background – a Norwegian euphemism for Muslim. Now it turns out that there have already been twice as many rape assaults in Oslo so far this year as there were in all of 2010.

Lanka Watch / August 16, 2014
