I Will Continue To Engage In Politics: Kurunegala MP Mahinda Rajapaksa

“I accept with humility, the result of the parliamentary election that just concluded and I thank the voters who placed their confidence in our party despite the unprecedented obstacles that we had to face.  I also wish to extend my heartfelt thanks to all the activists and the people’s representatives of our party who worked indefatigably in the election campaign. I will continue to engage in politics in keeping with the people’s mandate & function within Parliament to safeguard the nation and the democratic system.” says Kurunegala MP Mahinda Rajapaksa.

We must have mandatory retirement age for politicians. How come I must retire at 65 and these fools with no education and qualifications continue to waste our money.

      Defeated Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa,

RE: I Will Continue To Engage In Politics: Kurunegala MP Mahinda Rajapaksa

” I will continue to engage in politics in keeping with the people’s mandate & function within Parliament to safeguard the nation and the democratic system.” says Kurunegala MP Mahinda Rajapaksa.”

Yes, you are a politician.Yes, you are a Liar, a Crook, A Thief, a Criminal and a Murderer.

Your supporter fraction of Modayas, Mootals and Fools is slowly but steadily declining.

“I Will Continue To Engage In Politics.” This sounds like a threat. If MaRa had an iota of love for Sri Lanka and the Lankans, he would just give up politics and retire to his ill-gotten mansions in USA. He should take his hangers on relatives with him too. Whatever did we do to them that they have to treat us so.

          @Sylvia Haik,
          Ofcourse….its a vailed threat!

See the the blunder that Miathree and Ranil made before the elections by allowing to things happen the way the Racist Mahinda wanted. I mean, he wanted to barge into party back again and contesting the elections. He is been allowed immensely to play Racism in full display with a distorted National Flag and all.

Did the governments take any legal action???? Nothing.

One reason being, the arrests if at all happened at the behest of the govt., would have been used to fan the flames of racism and political vindictiveness cards by the MR camp.

The other reason is, the govt., allowed things to happen the way the Racist/Rabid K9 Mahinda to check the pulse of the people about his re-election as a candidate fom the UPFA list. This is a good opprtunity for Ranil and Maithree to check the purported Nationalist threat looming after MR’s many proxy groups created havoc among the populace targetting the minorities. This analysis will help the new govt., to formulate the future policy planning for the country as a whole designing on the lines of multi ethnic nature and its future discourse to harmonise the unity among the races for progress.

The best result shown by this election is the Sinhala masses rejecting any trace of racist element coming from ethno-religious supremacist like MR’s proxy group BBS/BJP and the many monks contested from various parties getting wiped out completely.

Sinhala masses were misunderstood by many including the seasoned politicians. This election taught the nation that the thinking pattern of the Masses has been changed drastically. MR must have understood already that there is no future for him or any of his criminally taineted backers without the SLFP/UPFA platform. If he had contested on his own he would have performed worse than the JVP and Sarath Fonseka.

Maithree, Ranil and Chandrika team is a far more advanced than any MR backers coming from any high degree of levels in terms of experience or professionalism. MR team cannot match in anyway the complex thinking of the Maithree/Ranil/CBK team.

All I can say is, why the country have to go through the waste of time and energy and costs in battling the MR’s rabid moves? They have to find a way to do away with him in one hard hitting stroke to lay him in retirement forever or else to make the cotton balls get stuffed in his nose while his eyes are made to shut forever lying in a wooden a box (84 inches; width 28 inches, and height 23 inches) with a tag ” Jayarathna Florists”.

An ardent advice to the Ranil/Maithree team is that please save the country of the trouble in spending money/time and energy in battling the MARA antics. Instead spend a small money to place a wreath which is a lovely way to honor the life of the deceased.

SAVE THE COUNTRY FROM UNWANTED EXPENSES…..AT LEAST NOW!

AND DO NOT FORGET TO CATCH THE THIEVES and catch the Dog that Mahinda let out…Gnaney and put him behind bars for the Murder and mayhem in Aluthgama/Beruwala area.

This is a time to show by the SL rulers that its time that you have shed the “Sinhala Only” game plans and undercover secret operations conducted by the rulers from the independence.

The PEOPLE HAVE UNANIMOUSLY REGISTERED THEIR PROTEST BY ELECTING THE NEW GOVT., AND REJECTING THE COBRA AND ITS MASTERS (Sinhala Only scumbags).

What the hell are you babbling on about. People with brains do not hate Sri Lanka as you seem to think but idiots like you blindly following a leader who has been corrupt, a thief, a thug, an embezzler and a murderer who very nearly made our country pariah state. Fortunately the Sinhala masses are much more alert and astute that they rejected your beloved leader twice in a matter of months.

        MR,

Please define the politics, democracy and the notion of safeguarding the nation, you want to pursue as an MP from Kurunegala.

Will you renounce your pension as a former president and the perks that go with it and receive only what is entitled to an ordinary backbencher?

Will you set up an office in Kurunegala to serve your constituents there?

Will you show the other MPs how to be exemplary, hardworking, erudite and wise parliamentarians?

Will you try hard to win back the respect you lost as a president and ex-president?

Will you call yourself only an MP now and not former president?

Proof of the kavung is in its eating!

Rajapaksa must be tired for all his criminal corruption and thrown in prison – so to his corrupt sons and brothers who also ran death squads and their cronies and minions..

As long as Rajapakse remains in politics the culture of corruption will continue, and the parliament will continue to be half full of uneducated thugs and corrupt clowns.

Fast track the FCID process – allocate additional resources – investigators, state attorneys – get action. Let them have the luxury of the judicial system which they did not afford to the average citizen.

Imprisonment if so ordered by the courts, should not mean a bed at the merchant ward of the National Hospital

@NV, well said. Why did we all have to run away from this beautiful country like this? Though Canada was simply an amazing country when we arrived, I missed SL immensely. It took me years to settle down. It irks me to see such vile racists still exist in this country after all this carnage on both sides……..Tamils slaughtered by the SLA, all the terrorist outfits, the disgusting IPKF and then the Muslims chased away by the LTTE from Jaffna, then the Sinhalese slaughtered by SLA, JVP thugs and the LTTE. Sumanasekeram, Sach and like minded racists still want to promote hatred? It is not just these hoodlums, but also the Tamil community has it’s own racists who we see all the time on this forum.

“Tamil from Northern Canada” and his family have been in Canada for a long time and will never return. These overseas Tamils are the ones who want to continue the conflict. Luckily many of them cannot vote.

@The Rogue Ayer, for your information I only attack racists on both sides. I came from a life of comfort in Jaffna and hit the bottom in Canada. But let me tell you this, though we had nothing here I live here with tremendous amount of respect and dignity. The law is in full effect.

My dream is to see SL moving forward without hatred. I only hope the peace I enjoy in Canada is enjoyed by all folks in SL mainly the women and children. I know there are many fools amongst the majority population who think anyone who criticises MR is an Ealamist. I understand you are thick and lack comprehension skills of the English language. So I suggest you go and get some reading done and learn the English language properly before writing rubbish.

Hey Sumanasekeram, stop being a smart arse, you are not!!!!! You are dumb as a cricket bat. Who the heck is Pira? Are you talking of Pirapaharn? If it is VP, then he was one of the main reasons why we ran from there. I know you are quite thick and do not have a decent grasp of politics. Many dumb fools amongst the Buddhist think all Tamils supported or still support the LTTE. LTTE has done more damage to the intellectual Tamil community, than any Sinhalese. So stop peeing in your lungi and start writing some sensible rebuttals.

where has the bugger been ?

His Rajapakshe intoxications will never die down EVEN if VILLAGE folks would learn to be fair. I think Mervin Silva of Kelaniya is also a winner considering the mind sets of Dayan s of the nation.

Mahindapala of Australia is said to be facing loose motion since for some weeks knowing that his efforts would never work. Hope not Australian govt should finance the bugger et al any further.

When looking at this creature, Prez MS is the best prez ever we have since independence who did that much to creat a change towards the betterment of the nation. It is he who supported UNP to win th eelection. It is former President CBK who categorically asked and begged people to vote for any animal (elephant -Unp) but not BULATH kolaya. MY3 and CBK have chased MR away from lanken active politics. Some coming from various background say that MS is nto qualified to be the president, bla bla, but for me though not living in the country but having studied all these, he is the best prez ever we have in this country. His is very hearted than anything else. Nothing like that selfish to his post and showing colours being a president, the manner he like simple tom behaves should be exemplary to this nation that only work on show off life styles. RW is a also good leader with modest nature. He would nto go after extravaganza as most stupid MR has been.

This election has made it very clear if you are clean and good politician – there you dont have chances to be elected.

      Examples

      a)Rosy Senanayake
      b)Sunil Handunneththi

      But
Buruwansa and Gommanpila to earn that many votes ?

This nation is really stupid actually. They have in a struggle to know who is right who is wrong.

Hey Friends, all that fought against MR regime:

      a) I have not heard from MR POLITICAL ANALYST – Dayan Jayathilaka for the very weeks

      b) What have they been doing since UPFA claimed the defeat ?

      c) As per his Articles one would feel the man is intelligent, but since he got on to the Nugegoda stage to attacked former prez CBK and Ranil on open stages, I thought how malicious the man has been

d)These kind of men if thought right or learnt to think right, even today, it is no late, could render a better service to this stupid folk dominated nation

e)Dayan Jayathilaka is btw way idiosyncratic to his stupidity.

Here whatI learnt is — even if GOMARALAs like Mahinda Rajano could celebrate it to all levels using people s funds, Ranil and Prez Sirisena seem to be thinking the difficulties of the average ones.

Good cultured leaders like Ranil cant go wrong in the today s context with the guard of most charamant prez Sirisena – this combination is a gift of god to protect this nation and guide them to a civlized country.

Please retire with your goons and shils. You and your family have had a good time for 10years and let the poor people enjoy the freedom they have received on 08 Jan 2015.

Otherwise you will loose the title Former President in your letter head. You will be called Hon MP for Kurunegala wherever you go. No more Appaachi (whatever Paachi). Your convoy will be reduced to a jeep and a normal exec saloon.

Your sons, brother(s) and your wife will go soon to a state funded no star hotel. Some of your goons will accompany them too.

BTW – Has anyone seen DJ/Rajiwa/KAS/Thondamannar/Malinda/Rajpal lately?. Please let them know that the new government will be nice to them. Please ask them to do some work and earn some money for living.

“Unprecedented obstacles”? What a cheek? All these years in the recent years, it is this crook who had been throwing all sorts of obstacle on every opponent’s way, using thugs and intimidation to steal votes that would have gone to the others, to secure his victory. This election has been the most peaceful and fair that I have ever seen. Given this background, referring to fair election as an unprecedented obstacle to him is most hilarious; yes it has scuppered the evil intention of the crook. Just remember, if it was not for what you did to liberated the country from terrorists, you would not have got 10% of what you received.

“unprecedented obstacles” by which this moron means – I did not get to have the state resources, the treasury of the people at my disposal to violate, plunder, squander the people’s money, every norm and law of this country. The most pathetic letterhead a former statesman on this planet has ever had. Look at all the social media icons. This must have been made in the local copyshop near Tangalle’s busstation. The irony is that immediately after loosing the Jan8 elections, Rajapaska had to rely on local organisations for his PR … a complete different world compared to his UK based company running the entire media campaign for him during presidential elections.

You don’t have any mandate you fool as you are no longer in power. you are a disgrace to the presidency and your thirst to cling on to power when the people have rejected you twice outright reveals a demented and warped mind that should be once and for all buried in the cesspit of brutality and animalistic behavior which you created during your horrible regime. From being president to now being a backbencher tells it all. You have no self respect and do not understand the meaning of ethical behavior. The notorious king has been dethroned. Has has now been stripped of his ego that has taken a beating. Despite all the ominous signs, the tell-tale winds blowing, he did not want to hear or listen.

It is not hard to visualise his regret. He had that golden opportunity to become a statesman but once a thug, always a thug. He thought the people were fools and would believe any he says or does but how he has been made a fool is hilarious. He became so petty that he got lost in his old wilderness. That he will feel the pangs of desertion and respect is obvious but alas, he dug his own grave. In his loneliness, perhaps he will spare the time to ponder the hurt and pain he and his brothers have inflicted on innocent victims. He does joke sometimes, like that when he declared that “an independent investigation will be conducted to determine who killed Thajudeen if he comes to power. He must have spoken from the horror chamber – the accused is his own son Yoshitha. Who knows, MR came out as a liar to the people when they heard his blatant lies like this one.

With no astrologer at his side, MR will be going through a haunting life where his own dreams will deprive him of his sound sleep – something he excelled and felt exalted when he deprived others of the same thing.

Sir Lanka’s Parliamentary election has been rigged by UNP and Sirisena!!!!!

This is an open request to former President Mahinda Rajapaksa. For God’s sake, demand a recounting. Ask for an impartial inquiry.

Demand that the inquiry be done by unbiased people without Elections Commissioner and his cronies. There is ample evidence that UNP has rigged the election.

It was Mahinda who won the election. People’s clear mandate was distorted by Ranil and Sirisena.

People voted for Mahinda irrespective of Sirisena’s attempt to discourage SLFPers. Sirisena did that to cover up election rigging in advance and hoodwink people that Mahinda lost some votes. More than 2.5 million of Mahinda’s votes are missing. Ok, forget about the increase of more than 1 million votes, but what happened to his solid base of 5.8 million votes??? For the last 8 months, the whole world witnessed his growing popularity and Ranil’s depleting support base.

Mahinda and Wimal gave a strong message to people to vote for the country and the strengthening of the national security. People came forward in single-mindedly irrespective of party politics. It was UNPers who didn’t come for voting because it was pretty obvious by August 16 that UNP was heading for a disgraceful defeat. This is the typical behaviour of UNP supporters in the history of elections. “No show” if UNP is losing. They knew that Ranil has no game with Mahinda.

If you talk to people, nobody has voted for UNP. No government employees have voted for UNP. None of the Buddhists had voted for UNP. So, how could UNP get unbelievably staggering increase of votes exactly on the 17th, the election day??? When President Mahinda Rajapaksa presented a very attractive welfare package, who will vote for UNP’s empty package???

Nobody cared about Sirisena’s PM-to be list. Sirisena knew by heart that if the UPFA led by President Mahinda Rajapaksa wins, he has no other alternative but grant him the PM post, to avoid a violent public unrest. So they “peacefully, freely, reasonably, equally and fairly” stuffed ballot boxes to show that UNP has people’s mandate too, equal to UPFA and distorted Mahinda’s victory.

There were all signs of election rigging from the beginning. The EC’s website suddenly stopped functioning exactly on the election day, something never happened in the history. In half way, the fast flowing of election results suddenly stopped. Then there was a dead silence. After that there came to the light of UNP’s unbelievable staggering increase of votes, and distorted election results in favour of Ranil.

All preferential votes have been distorted by UNP. First we heard Ranil got only 100k votes (everybody predicted that). But suddenly after 1/2 day, it has increased up to 500k. It was a known factor in Colombo District Wimal gets the leading votes. Colombo has a strong base of Sinhalese Buddhists in Maharagama, Kesbewa, Homagama, Piliyandaka, Kaduwela, Awissawella, etc. There is no way Buddhists vote for Ranil. There unequivocal choice was Wimal.

Some UNP contestants who couldn’t even gather 10 people for their cluster meetings prior to the election, (photograph proof) have gained over 60,000 preferential votes.

In some ‘rural’ areas where UNP have no strong base, the increase of their votes has been over 35,000 when comparing to previous elections. There is no way UNP gets such a large increase just in 8 months with their huge unpopularity.

Too bad Mahinda accepted defeat so readily. This is the second time they robbed his victory.

Elections Commissioner played a bigger role in this plot. Prior to the election (in both elections) he played as the saviour of democracy and showed the world that he was fair and unbiased. What for the telling? People have seen Indian nationals (RAW must be) counting ballots in polling stations and using computers. Polling station officers seem to be bought by UNP.

Then we had the mysterious presence of Tony Blair during election time. No high profile foreign figure, of all the people, a former British Prime Minister will be in Sri Lanka during election time where there is a history of severe election violence. There is unsubstantiated evidence that he had deposited 25 BILLION in a bank in Colombo (I forgot the name). Of all the places this TOURIST Tony Blair has chosen to be in Jaffna, the former terrorist hold where there was a recent unrest by youth stoning the courts and shooting. While he is in Jaffna, we heard TNA getting staggering 500k votes.

UNP has rigged the election. There is ample proof. A large number polling cards were found in a coconut estate in Kurunegala. There are a staggering number of rejected votes in Kurunegala and other areas.

Harin Fernando’s website posted a note even before Badulla votes were counting, that they have won. Postal vote results were also distorted. A UNP contestant openly declared on stage last week that UNP has already won 70% of postal votes(video evidence). Election took place only on the 17th. How could he be so sure about the results of postal votes? Government employees all voted for Mahinda’s amazing welfare package. Their choice has been distorted and their mandate has been robbed.

Mahinda Rajapaksa won the election. Period. He had a solid base of 5.8 million people and an increase of over 1 million of supporters prior to the election. And there were a large number floating votes too. He received, according to distorted election results only 4 million. Where was his solid base who were impatiently waiting to cast their vote at the election.

Mahinda supporters clear mandate has been blatantly distorted by Sirisena and Ranil.

Where are those bloody Western countries who boasted of being the vanguard of bringing a democratic change in countries like Sri Lanka? Are they in deep slumber?

If they uphold democracy, how could they be silent of UNP’s brazen violence of people democratic right to vote for their choice?

What version of democracy applied to UNP’s election rigging?

Doesn’t democracy applied to UPFA supporters?

Is democracy applied only to Ranil and Siriena?

Doesn’t democracy applied to former President Mahinda Rajapaksa and his over 6.8 million supporters?

The election monitors ,the election Commissioner. The Police all are crooks and thieves and murderers like his master .

You are pathetic man. Why don’t you go to MEDAMULANA and commiserate with your master instead of fanning hatredness and accusing everyone a liar except your master.

Sell your story to your grand mother.

Now you want another Election??? All have gone NUTS…….

Another banal comment from an ignoramus based in the USA!

Ramona, if you have nothing of value to say, don’t do it here. We have had our fill of moronic comments from the Rajapakse brigade that want to go back to his era of criminality, corruption and stealing the country blind.

Ramona, pray tell us what was “decent and intelligent” in your “OMG! Is this true?!!! Yes, some of these things were noticed too”, statement? It certainly wasn’t an “argument” and to call it “intelligent” only displays your “ad-hominem” tendencies.

Grow up, girl – and if you want to make comments try to be “intelligent” and not comment for commenting’s sake.

              Jabberwocky,

Mine was a question. Then I substantiated it with that I had noticed some of it too. If you feel it is wrong, then give a decent argument to show why what Champa says can have a different meaning. And Champa says a lot of intellegent things.

But instead, you call me names, and can’t really take on Champa, can you! S

Corruption, criminality, and stealing the country blind, certainly built a lot of roads and railways for Sri Lanka. But with the new regime, let’s hope you will pay your taxes so that a land bridge to India (INDIA!) will not have to be built.

“Sir Lanka’s Parliamentary election has been rigged by UNP and Sirisena!!!!!”

You should be very happy the election business is as usual. UNP has again protected the Sri Lankan culture, tradition, that we all are proud of.

Was the Jan 2015 elections rigged?

“Doesn’t democracy applied to former President Mahinda Rajapaksa and his over 6.8 million supporters?”

Of course democracy applied to war criminal Mahinda Rajapaksa and his 5,768,090 supporters on 8th Jan 2015 and 4,732,669 on 17th Aug 2015.

It looks like his support base is eroding fast as you would have noticed he has lost nearly 1 million over the last 8 months. Do you know why?

Poor Champa, a bad loser. Keep trying mate, may be some day you might succeed to get someone to believe your story. Until then it will be ‘sour grapes’. For the rest of us, we believe the results of this election to be ‘just and fair’, a true representation of the ‘ground situation’.

This is the Pankiliya’s talking point of the day. It is on his web site. Claiming the election was rigged is an insult to the honest hard working government servants who did a very good job this time. The miserable loosers will never give up. The only way to shut them down is to charge them with all the crooked corruption they have indulged in and lock them up. When they are locked up please make a new constitutional amendment that sets out standards and qualifications for MPs. Make it illegal for undeducated morons who have not passed even their O’levels to become MPs. Also make it illegal for those with jail terms and criminal records to be MPs. If these steps are not taken then it will only be a matter of time before these retards hatch another plot to bring down the government and get into power. They never give up.

      Champa,
Did the UNP rig the largest number of preferential votes ever, for Ranil too?
Do bear in mind that Colombo District has the largest percentage of educated voters.
      Were their votes too, rigged?
You are allowing your imagination to run riot.

Yes…..Yes….. We need you to be in Parliament. IF? all matters relating to those complaints against you, your family and goons start rolling, you can with “Parliamentary Immunity” talk and talk in defense; because that is the only “Safe Heaven” you can make use of, that which is provided to you by “rice eating, 98.5% literacy rated voters”. Make use of the “facilities” freely granted to you by that “literacy rated” voters.”

Amarasiri, Anon69, gamini et al. You have been fighting hard to get rid of the Rajapaksa cancer and may be you think that MR is just trying to come back to Parliament to sit in the back benches because he wants power. That may be partly correct, but his real intention is to protect his clan from being punished for all their corruption and crimes including cold blooded murder.

Now RW et al they are talking big about a national government. Can you have a national government without SLFP and MR? Obviously not. What is the price MR will ask? Obviously, the good of the country, the party or the people who voted for him will be furthest from his mind and immunity for the clan will be the price RW has to pay.

The crimes will be swept under the carpet and RW will continue as PM without MR doing much to oppose him. Everything will be hunky dory and the two will have their daily coffee (sans hoppers) at TT. Nothing has changed. We have been taken for a ride.

Historians will remember Mahinda as the Son of the South who not only saved the Srilankan Nation from Tamil Terrorists..

This guy still has something to say? To think of it, SLFP or UPFA ould have mustered more voted had Mahinda retired and let the popular UPFA people stay in the alliance. All those who voted for UPFA and more would have voted in support. At least, it would have been more competitive. Mahinda brought his party down.

        Analyst,

        Thanks for reading my comments.

Without MR . Batalanda would have scooped the pool.

        Now it is really interesting.

Your Vellalaa will join to keep Btalanda afloat. That means no Eelaam for Sambandan..

Because Ranil can’t upset Hamuduruwo , Abiththaya and even the little Green Prince after he has sacrificed poor Handunnatta and the the enforcer Lal Kantha, by massaging Batalanada leading up to the Election.

If not for Hndunnatta, even your Elite mates wouldn’t have known about Mahendran’s Heist at the Central Bank..

Even otherwise Ranil can’t give Sambandan anything ,without 2/3rd which is now impossible.

I know you guys are talking about Singapore Santhosams for 30 this time.

But it will be suicidal for any of the 95 , unless it is a deal like the one which Aloysious got.

Because you know what happened to SB & Mahinda Samrasinghe.Don’t you…

History will correctly remember him as a racist genocidal war criminal, whose government and armed forces on the pretext of fighting the LTTE deliberately killed between 40000 -70000 Tamil civilians. This has been proven and even the UN has admitted to this and this is a war crime. He then cruelly and deliberately incarcerated more than 350000 innocent Tamil civilians in horrible Nazi like concentration camps, where many were raped killed tortured and starved by his government and armed forces. Later his government used the Army to illegally confiscate and occupy hundreds and thousands of acres of Tamil land and harass the Tamil civilian population. illegally build Buddhist stupas in Tamil land, settled Sinhalese in Tamil lands to change the demography. All the did was pander to Sinhalese racists like you and ill treat the minorities. This is what he and his party will be remembered for. Only Sinhalese racists and the readers of such sites like the Lankaweb will be praising this man

Sumanasekera, until you find your father Sumanasekeran in Dravidia who bastardized your birth you will continue making unfocused comments like this. Bastardized historians of the southern yakko class will consider MaRa according to what u say, but the rest just simply consider him a Son of a Bitch. Their is nothing that can save anything from anybody. The threat to Buddhism is sold by bastardized Dravidians (AKA Sinhalese) like u for your own ulterior survival and motives and absolutely nothing else, thus the shame to Buddhism itself emanates from arseholes like you who do not even know your fucking basic roots. For MaRa’s survival, he almost sold the country to China in return for protection for the indiscriminate killings of innocent Tamils during the last stages of war. Now you will say this false and utter diaspora bullshit… if so why the cowardice not to allow an independent panel of international investigators to inquire and find the truth?

      KASmaalam K.A Sumanasekera

“Historians will remember Mahinda as the Son of the South who not only saved the Srilankan Nation from Tamil Terrorists..”

Didn’t the son of Satan support Sinhala/Buddhist terrorists in the South in the late 1980s? History won’t be kind to him. He will be remembered as a war criminal who together with his extended family looted the coffers.

“But also as the Leader who saved the Srilanka Freedom Party from the UNP, Sirisena and the Tamil Diaspora.”

Actually Sirisena and CBK saved the SLFP from the robber barons.

Does he have a choice now? The correct title should read as follows: I Will start to Engage In Politics now onwards as I have no other choice: Kurunegala MP Mahinda Rajapaksa.

MR acts like a thug again, he will be dealt a heavy blow and he will never be able to walk again. Maybe a white van may cruise by his home one of these days to give him a ride to hell!!!!!!!…………..where he really belongs.

When BBS ran amok last year against minorities, he silently gave his approval for their role in cajoling majority votes towards him. But when he lost the minority votes in the Jan. 8th Presidential elections, immediately he turned around and blamed BBS for the loss of minority support. But this parliamentary election he went all out on his own steam and still lost. Which says a lot about his deteriorating vote base which is mainly due to his poor style of governance. Cheap politics based on racism does not work any more in SL. Unfortunately MR was made to learn it the hard way, by losing elections. His old style of old politics doesn’t work anymore, as our nation moves forward and climbs higher whilst embracing modernization, along with the freedom of expression which takes a new meaning in better understanding trends in formulating opinions, in this progressive age of the internet.

Dhayan has been done a long lists of comparison in many article of Old Kind and Ranil Mahata. Its all fizzled. That much is what Dyan understanding or Charisma, personal traits…. Lately, he has even fearing to answer the CT commentators. He had figured out his messups’ extents.

Even after releasing billion dollars, nobody has cared. This time it is not North and east Tamils pulled the trigger. Last time North-East brought down Old King. This time, mainly upcountry Tamils and Eastern Muslims pulled trigger.
