Gobi Sivanthan, the hunger striker who started the campaign at Marshgate Lane, Stratford DLR, in London from 22th of July 2012 to 12th of August 2012, during the course of the Olympic competition to highlight the demands the following five key demands:
1. IOC, suspend Sri Lanka from the Olympics
2. UN, initiate independent international investigation into war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide committed by Sri Lanka
3. International Community, force Sri Lanka to halt the genocidal land grabs intensifying in the Tamil homeland
4. International Community, force Sri Lanka to release all Eelam Tamil prisoners of war (POWs)
5. International Community, do not deport Eelam Tamil asylum seekers
His fast is entering the 15th day.

Tamil civilians are in an unfortunate place today and getting a bad name again as they flee the northeast military occupation and land grabbing of Basil and GOta the Rajapassa Goon – just check out the land grab right along the east coast by the Rajapasse hotel cronies and the armed forces.
Tamils of post war Lanka are caught between the bloody LTTE left-over scum who want to control a dying organization and its funds while engaged in a human-trafficking business in the diaspora, and the equally bloody Rajapakse military dictatorship in Sri Lanka today!
