There is no tribalism in Islam as hypocritical Amaraya says. The fight is all about interpreting the verses in the Koran. Talibans meticulously read every word in the Koran and interpret them. Though I do not agree with the Koran or the existence of Allah, I fully agree with Taliban interpretations of the Koran.
The Koran contains at least 109 verses that call Muslims to war with non-believers for the sake of Islamic rule. It also says that those who insult Muhammad or Allah are to be put to death. Same punishment goes for those who desecrate the Koran or commit blasphemy. There are enough examples of such acts by Muhammad in Hadith as recorded by his biographers.
So, when Taliban says Malala had committed many grave crimes and they would kill her at the first opportunity, I can visualize how serious Malala’s crime is in Taliban eyes. Lets face it, that is Islam and there is no moderate face of it. Those who seek to whitewash Islam like Amaraya are stupid self defeatists.
Amaraya doesn’t want to accept the war that is going on between neo-cons and Islamists is a religious war that had been going on for the last 1400 years. How could Mallala live among those that wage a war against Muslims the world over and fight against them? Only the stupidest of the stupids doesn’t know that Mallala is fighting the Taliban for the Soviet-American-Wahhabi- Pakistan ISI.
Before demolishing the world heritage Bamian Buddha, the serene looking statues, Talibans had openly declared that idols are against Islam. Hence they don’t want idols in a 100% Muslim country. Your over consumption of Orientalistic view of Muslims and Islam is becoming a bit dull. One should look at the message of Islam rather than make assumptions written by non Islamic qualified scholars. Practising Muslims would refrain from identifying themselves with labels rather, Islam spells out the criteria of a Muslim. One of the beauties of Islam is the diverse views of the Islamic scholars as long as they keep to the core values of the Noble Quran and the Authentic Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammed (PBUH).
Media paints its own picture on various Islamic Sects. So one may ask ‘what is these sects and why they are called Wahabi/Salafi/Shia/Sunni and others. Well all these are at one time were Islamic Scholars of Different schools of thought. Muslims have a diverse choice. All these choices have restrictions to apply; as they have to comply with the Noble Quran and The Sunnah (way of the Prophet (PBUH) and beside there are so many factors should be taken into consideration when Islamic Edicts are applied. Interpretations vary with some taking extreme positions on issues, while the others take a moderate interpretation. For starters Islam prohibits sects/caste system. All these labels are man made to satisfy nationalistic ideals. Muslims in essence are one community with open borders. Insha’Allah; the day will come all communities will move around without borders. The evidence to this effect from Islamic source as below:-

Buddhists never used violence to propagate their religion. Indeed its violence by Muhammadans that pushed Buddhism out of its birth place, India.
Violence that is taking place in Burma is not perpetrated on Muslims to propagate Buddhism or convert Muslims to Buddhism. Its a response by Burmese Buddhists for the Muslim threat to swamp their country the same way they had done to nearby countries in the recent past. Sinhala Buddhists are facing a similar threat.
In Singapore, statistics revealed that Muslims there produced babies twice the rate than the Chinese. Chinese decided to maintain their percentage by allowing HongKong Chinese emigration. What are we Sinhala Buddhists going to do in the face of Muslims here producing like cockroaches?

To respect all beings great and small. In many ways the small beings suffer the same pain as us and have similar desires as us. We do not want to be hurt so let us not hurt others, even beings within the animal kingdom.

Dawkins has said that the title The Root of All Evil? was not his preferred choice, but that Channel 4 had insisted on it to create controversy.
