Marketing Buddhist Monk Pitiduwe Exposed

Controversial Buddhist monk Pitiduwe Siridhamma Samantha Badra claims that he used the negative publicity against him to become enormously famous.

In a video posted on youtube, the monk claims that he himself had used a photograph in which he was captured wearing a t-shirt to print posters to increase his fame.

The monk has encountered a storm of controversy over the picture and other allegations made by several women that he had fathered their children. One woman filed a case in court against the monk but the case was dismissed for lack of evidence.

Isn’t it interesting how easily people embrace mad people like this ? This guy says he has attained Nibbhana , the end to all desires , the realization on impermanent , suffering , and selflessness of the being. Do you really think this guy has attained such wisdom? Yet , there are very affluent people follow this guy and fund him..

This shows the extent that Buddhists in Sri Lanka have been lost in their faith. Since recently , many guys like this one but with different forms have been able to command support of Buddhists to their own fanatic views of Buddhism..

And behaviors people like this have become the best weapons for publications like this destined to discredit and ridicule the only great religion that boldly disassociates itself from any Gods ruling the universe …The one created by a human being to end sufferings of the human beings ..

and you still are unable to find his pedigree even with Taxila etchings that he severed his head and offered it to the listener.

Chinese don’t need an English, Pali translator because theirs is the classical language and Tao was a great philosopher (man of the mountain) during Gautama’s time.

So the Chinese very often say the whole world is a copy.

Terracotta Warriors is 3300 years old not some borrowed amude story of bestality.

His is a very good example – that stupid people themselves make him a pinguththaraya. May be the guy would have been holydaying as a laity person though continuing of his kind of bana while being in the country. There is no sawarakama at all there when he holds his speeches. Even Chimpansies in the Zoo are more gentle than these buggers are. Gone are the days we respected for cheewaraya (safron robe) even if it was put on by wrong ones, but today, I would not even pause to kneel down this kind of monks.

Only someone who has attained Nibbhana would wear a red sun hat like that. Another gentleman who attained Nibbhana in 2005 after paying some terrorist guys 800 million rupees, likes to wear a read cloth (known as a satakaya) around his neck wherever he goes. :)

We may need more prisons with therapy stations than any other building projects to provide these Patients with rehab programs.
As any virulent germ could cause us creating health problems of unfamiliar sort, this kind of harmful personalities in the society cause to deteriorate the society to the appalling ends that the folks experience it today -looking at them being out of the country, the manner these monks (pseudo) behave, we dont need to put the blame on the youth today – they may have followed the monks, politicians or any others in the society to become what they are today. Rapid erosion of the society is clearly distinquishable in the country today. Are people of present day that stupid to believe that the man has attained NIBBANA ?

      Sanjaya,

      Sadu Sadu Sa..Sadu Sadu Sa….

Religion is the opium of the masses. This include Buddhists, Christians and Muslims.

All these Monks, Priests and Mullahs have “discovered” religion, are popularizing their religions to the “common” man. Some are violent, some are peaceful and some are abusive.

This Monk explains the way he understands it, and uses modern marketing, and enjoying it. He is much better than the damage done by the Imaginations of Sinhala Buddhist Racist Monk Mahanama of Mahawansa, that has cursed Sri Lanka ever since, contrary t the great teachings of the Enlightened Buddha.

Or Do you want Monks and Priests like the ones given below instead of this monk?

This is the problem not just with Buddhism in the SubContinent but Hinduism and Islam.

The masses brainwashed by charlatans screw up society for all the rational minded people.

Knowing Hindu society as I do, I would say it is even worse amongst Hindus than Buddhists. Most Hindus are brainwashed as evidenced by the fact they pay Brahmins to pray for them .

Then you got Islam and all these SubCons worshipping an Arab even though Arabs consider SubCons as untermenschen.

It is more than a bit annoying when people don’t use their bloody brain to think rationally and critically.

See the gentle behaviour of the safron robed man (I would not call these monks as buddhist monks of conventional sort), stretching out his hands and legs.. as if lowlevel primates would do. Anyway… this is the sad reality of the buddhist monks under the lead of MAHINDA CHINTANYA. Hyprocracy has been infected from Mahinda to all forms of people of the nation to this day.

I would beg all buddhists to avoid give alms to any kind of ASAWANRA buddhist monks. I have decided to do my alms to the poor people, children or hosptial patients. This I will pass to all known to me. All these pseudo monks should not be given any form of assitance by the laity; in that way we the buddhists can marginalise this kind of monks if no law is in action for their irregaularties.

These kind of people´s bathgullas (pinguththarayas) should be punished by BALUWALIGEN..by a dog´s tail. This reminded me – just now, our grandmother saying to someone who had been continuing with his abusive nature. Many of these monks in general, survive from the food offered to them. They would never work for their living. In Europe, they the people are very angry if yo would not contribute to the tax system but trying to live on social funds offered by the states. But in SL, those poor folks work very hard to face their hard. Sometimes leaving their own children in hunger for one or two meals, these poor folks bring alms to the MONKS,it is just because they believe budda´s blessing get preached by sanga could help them for a better life. Knowing all these evidently, these abusive theros to have no the repay qualities – annoying to me. They have been fully away from their responsibilities about buidling a healthy society, to this day. I think it is high time most respected Prelates to sharpely focus on this and create a set of behavioural guidelines to avoid the damage deliberately made by any monks whose behaviour is seen to be deviate.

This is the level Buddhism in Sri Lanka has descended to. And the man
thinks he is a hero. Sadly, there is none to bell the cat and bring
    perverts like this to book.

      Wow Lorenzo! (aka Fathima)
i take it you deduced that with your membership to that elite high IQ society.

      Lorenzo Says:

I HATE to tell this because I’m NOT so low. But since IQ was dragged, let me tell you I with a membership of an elite IQ society (MORE restrictive than Mensa which I think anyone can get in) tell you that BBS is the ONLY REAL protector of Sinhala and Buddhists interests in SL.

      Good on you mate!

Its all in the DNA.Can’t blame him.See the way he is so comfortable sitting on the fence. He is still a chimp at heart.98% of our DNA matches the chimps. The balance 2% is still evolving into human dna.In some, the evolution has gone far in others it has just started. The later will be having a tough time neither here or there, very confused, very muddled.

I truly believe it is the deficiency of facts to those who if they still respect these monks. Whenever I get back to the country, though 1-2 a year, I get to see, some rural people still have a great respect to any kind of monks if they are in safron robes. They dont seem to rethink before going to offer those monkeys – sometimes the least that they have. Some very poor families bring them breakfast or lunch thinking that Darma preached by any kind of monks could help them to survive their day today hardlife. Actually, this is to our eyes – is great deceit. If poor folks were better aware of the realities aboutthe monks and ruling politicians, they would have reacted with much more responsiblities. It is the wrong info make those vulnerable easily decievable folks make them like those monks and Rajapaske rule.
Right the moment, what those folks are lacking is proper info sources about the truth of anything.
I dont think that leaders like RW would ever try to brainwash people to the manner Rajapakshe thugs have done sofar.
Where they see advantages, they would even kill people to succeed it. That is their nature. Born to hurt own folks.

It is interesting that this reprobate monk who has violated the vinaya code, is still given all due respect by the Sri Lankan courts and granted unconditional bail, meaning that he can continue with his ‘normal life’. Petty criminals are not afforded bail but this does not seem to apply to politicians and monks accused of rape and even murder.

‘O the times, o the morals! The Senate knows these things, a Consul sees him, yet this man lives. He lives? On the contrary indeed, and in fact he still comes to the Senate, and, so it happens, takes part in public council, notes each and everyone of us with his gaze and marks us down for death.’- Cicero

    Well, well, well,

    What more could I say.

    Let me try once again,

A man wearing a saffron robe does not meen he is a Bikkhu.

Often Sri Lankan men who wear saffron robes are chalatans, or even common thugs as many within my own BBS has proven to be.

Donning a saffron robe is the easiest path to earn a living, have unrestricted access to young boys for peadophilic activities and have all the other trappings that fame brings, women and money. Gathering a following among my Sinhala bretheren is so easy. We are such a gullible lot.

    • 3
      0

BBS rep,you can always get them not to wear the saffron robes if they are not bhikkus don’t you?Or do you want to have the cake and eat it too like having the bad cop(gota)and good cop(mahinda)have bad bhikkus and good bikkhus to serve the purpose. Now take you for example a good bhikku applying heavily the butter on all of us and lull us into a sense of complacency while the bad bikkhus go on the rampage and you do nothing about it except whinge here about them as if you are powerless to disrobe them.Culture permeates downwards from the top.Your top bikkhu and his patron saint gota seems to be the root cause of the problem for thuggish behaviour and throwing the bhuddhas teachings out the window.

Did they do a DNA test to verify whether he was the father of the children the women accuse him of?

He could refuse to give a DNA sample. Also he may have sufficient influence to stop the police from getting one from him.The problem with DNA is you got to get a sample from the accursed,i mean sorry accused.

THIS is Sinhala Buddhism! A wonderful exposition. A dedicated priest. THIS is Sinhala Buddhism. May all Buddhists salute the great Theravada tradition that has been DEFENDED against the Tamils and India and PRESERVED in Sri Lanka for the lord god buddha himself by our dear friends the Sinhalese. You can see the mindset for yourself. These are not humans.

All the Suneth in the Island now will take you to courts for defamation …..

for your information ,, if you are trying to say his Circumcision proved the man was a Muslim , I can just imagine what a donkey you are, today tons of people from all faiths do it ,for the great health benefits it gives them and recommended by Doctors all over the world, in Sri Laanka most cervical cancer and long periods of miscarriage has been the reason for cohabiting with men who are not Circumcised, ask your mother , or sister who is married and if you are married your wife to be honest wwith you and tell you what your little johnny smells like even after you take a bath ,, careful she may puke.. go ask any one among your own kind who have circumcised (you can easily find one these days for sure) their respond may stimulate you to do the same with your little Johnny too ..

You sound to be an expert rather about little jonny than anyhting else.

You could better help that Hamuduruwo who is set to be free from the due jail sessions. Sexual therapists your kind are for sure in demand in the country today.

    • 2
      1

The only purported benefit of circumcision is the less likelyhood of getting the HIV virus but this is not an argument in favor of circumsicion because unless you are living in a region of the world that has a very high AIDS epidemic and lack of protection during sex.

Circumcision is rare in Japan and Europe, and both of these 2 areas of the world are known for their 1st world status and technological advacement .

Circumcision in most of the world is just a religious mandate and is pushed by religious extremists who then try to use scientific arguments to claim they are right, but as I mentioned above there is no scientific benefit to circumcision in the developed world or any area where AIDS is not epidemic propotions.

The only people pushing for circumsicion to remain in Europe are Jews and Muslims. The former because they see circumcision as part of Jewish ethnic identity and the later because their religion mandates it.

Circumcision is nothing short of unnecessary mutiliation of a minor, on the same level as female genital mutilation; both of which are barbaric bronze age practices that have no place in the civlized world.

      • 1
        2

Agree. Many of us learnt the same. But the Jonnie experts like “QASSIM BEN QASSIM” seems to see different -> this points to each his own.

Female populations are struggeling with the brutal conventional methods related to cicumcision in Ethiopia and several other countries in Africa even today. I personally knew an Ethiopian student who worked for a master thesis on the topic.

Please listen to the whole youtube of his sermon. Remember when you hate him, you are hurt first. :) I am definitely not asking you to accept what he is saying or to worship him, but listen to his sermon from a neutral perspective for 30 to 40 minutes. I invite you to try and leave the judgments aside about the monk before you listen to the whole youtube. Afterwards you can carry on hating him or blaming him. :)
    May everyone be well.
