Trying to fish in troubled waters? No luck yet? Muslims were at the butt-end during the last 30 odd years of LTTE mayhem funded by the diaspora.Terrorism blended with chauvinsm,racism and barbarism ruled the North and the East where majority of muslims either left the area or were murdered. This is hilarious. Gnanakoon is pretending he does not know that the LTTE murdered 138 Muslim men and boys while they prayed in 1989.In Kathankudi!
What type of man is he? Forgetful or just a racist? He is doing all he can to get the US and the UK to do his bidding using the money fraudulently “earned” by the BTF and the GTF through extortion, credit card scams and proceeds of other crime including drug smuggling.
Clinton took the money and then “gave it back”!
Milliband and the Labour Party will soon be under investigation when my pertition is signed by one million people or more.
We will see all tyhose MPs who have been using the BTF and GTF money for campaign funds exposed. This is not an empty threat. I do not care much for reconcilliation if these expats are going to turn the screws to stop reconcilliation happening. Colonising the North and the East is what they call it. How about Kotahena, Wellawatte, Modera, Bambalapitya. The Tamils who live and work in Colombo are a security threat now and forever. The Governments must take notice of this. Your grandparents sat at the feet of the British and you got a really good education in Sri Lanka not in the United States. Maybe in Jaffna but that still is and always will be a part of Sri Lanka. You will die wondering why you have wasted your time trying to spread your venom against the Sinhalese Buddhists. The men join the aermy to defend everyone and against the LTTE terrorists. It seems these Sinhala buddhist fanatics will not stop until they have attacked and removed every non-buddhist monument in the land. After decades of pogroms and persecution they are responsible for having created a Tamil diaspora; most of the burghers left in the 1950s; now it’s the Muslims who are next on the list. Seems they want to clear out all minorities and non-buddhist cultures from Sri Lanka.
But will that be enough? I doubt it. Left with no one to fight with they’ll start on each other. I wonder what Gautama would have to say about all of this were he alive today?

Singhalese fought among themselves in recent history at least 3 times. 1971 and 1987-89 insurrection killed 100,000 Singhala youth and some armed forces. Those killings were inhuman and at that time warned the Tamils that the fate of the Tamils would be worse at the hands of trained killers.
In 2009 it was finally proven, immaterial of the final numbers killed, as Rajapakses claim Zero civilian deaths, then 5,000 and later 9,000. The UN have stated tens of thousands in their report, and Bishop has said 146,467.
The crushing of the General Fonseka’s democratic opposition in the last 3 years and other UNP opposition is also Singhala on Singhala violence. The problem is that the State Terrorist have got used to State Violence via the military, para military or underworld with impunity.
Now there is again religious and racial intolerance of burning Muslim Mosques and Christian churches, as well as taking over of Hindu Temples or their properties. The Buddhist are scared of the Hindu Gods….
These are the facts, and we are not fishing in troubled waters. Just condemn the religious crimes. “Ballo Happai Api Guttikai”

I wish some would stop pointing to what the LTTE did, to justify any act against any religion. Two wrongs do not make a right, and we should stop this finger pointing just to overlook any acts of racism in this multi cultural, multi religious, country. It is time the so called leadership in the government, starting with the Rajapaksa brothers publicly condemned these acts, and give these culprits the strictest punishment, even if it means doing so to the monks and clergies from any religion. These so called minor incidents, as dismissed by some here, may be the cause of larger problems in the future. This is no way to unite a country, and convince the world that we are indeed in the process of reconciliation.
