Nakba II & Arab Spring II: Looming Possibilities From Gaza Inferno

By Ameer Ali

Dr. Ameer Ali

The unfathomable human horror and physical devastation the world has been witnessing in Gaza since October 7 and Netanyahu’s belief in Jewish “exclusive and unquestionable right to all areas of the land of Israel”, could end either in turning Gaza into the largest cemetery of Arab martyrs or Nakba (Catastrophe) II. Instead of calling for an immediate cease fire and stopping the carnage, US, EU and their allies had virtually given a carte blanche to Israel to accomplish its program to cleanse Gaza ethnically under the pretext of defending Israel. The Israeli think tank is reported to have drawn up the plan for this “justified vengeance”, a doctrine formulated by Israel in 2001. After all, to them and to all Israeli leaders, Gazans are “human animals”, “monsters”, “savages”, and “drugged cockroaches in a bottle”. These dehumanizing epithets are intended to give a civilizational polish to the barbaric acts of Netanyahu’s military mission. To him therefore, Gazans should be got rid of by any means to win what he calls “the second war of independence”. What he failed to mention is the fact that the first war of independence in 1948 resulted in Nakba I. Thus, if the second war drags on Nakba II looks a strong possibility, which could provoke Arab Spring II, dreaded by Arab rulers. That explains why the Arab states are frantically trying through the UN to call for an immediate cease fire and why Qatar in particular negotiating with Hamas to get all the hostages released.

Nakba I of 1948 ended in the flight of almost three quarter of a million Arabs from their homes and villages under the watchful eyes of the British. It resulted from the horror unleashed by Israeli terror outfits like ha-Ganah and Irgun along with other armed fighters. Nakba II could possibly involve double that number and it is delayed only because Israel’s patron US wants all hostages held by Hamas be released. However, according to reports from the battle ground, Israel’s ground attack has already begun in northern Gaza and Gazans are asked to evacuate and move towards the south, indicating the first stage of Nakba II. The number of deaths under the avalanche of Israel’s indiscriminate bombing, according to Palestinian Authority and not Hamas, has exceeded 7,000 of which 3,000 are children. But the US President is not prepared to believe these figures as he believes readily anything that comes from Israeli sources. (Among those killed are journalists numbering around twenty-five so far). Israel does not want the world to hear anything other than what it tells. With Biden’s blessings and approval therefore, Israel’s genocide of Gazans is proceeding as planned. There is no place for Gazans to hide. Hospitals, schools and places of worship are all bombed and reduced to smithereens.  The only choice Gazans have is between death and decampment. In spite of all the bravery, determination and sacrifices of resisters Nakba II is becoming an increasing possibility.

That exodus could pave the way for the outbreak of another Arab Spring once the people in Arab countries realize the tragic consequence of their leaders abandoning the cause of Palestine. It is this desertion that forced non-state actors like Hamas to take up the struggle for Palestine in the first place. That Hamas itself was the creation of Mossad to stop Mahmoud Abbas of Palestinian Authority from proceeding to create a Palestinian state is a fact conveniently forgotten in the current inferno. However, while the Arab states are honeymooning with US and its Western partners and are eager to normalize relations with Israel, stateless Palestinians have been left with no alternative but to confront their occupier direct. It was this desperation that provoked Hamas to fire those rockets, killing several hundreds of Israelis – another human tragedy that should not be sanitized, condoned or celebrated even if one were a Palestinian supporter. At the UN Security Council US wants all members to condemn Hamas without condemning Israeli oppression in Gaza that turned it into a killing field. This was why the UN Secretary General out of sheer exasperation was forced to speak that, “It is important also to recognize the attacks by Hamas did not happen in a vacuum. The Palestine people have been subjected to 56 years of suffocating occupation”. Lauren Booth, sister-in-law of former British Prime Minister Tony Blair turned a Palestinian activist, visited Gaza and described it not as a prison but worse a concentration camp. Isn’t it a historical irony that Jews are bombing a concentration camp?

There are 19 Arab states with 20% of world’s Muslim population. If one adds to this number the other 29 Muslim majority countries, they together command 48 solid votes in the UN General Assembly of 191 members. Though a minority still, as en bloc their numerical strength could be utilized strategically to make a strong case on behalf of peace, freedom and justice for all communities that are subjected to oppression by the mighty and powerful. Palestine and Palestinians deserve support not in words but in kind from their Arab brethren, which is unfortunately not forthcoming. Isn’t Palestine with its Al-Aqsa Mosque the third holiest place for all Muslims? Why then is this meekness? The primary reason is the disunity among these countries. They are divided religiously, ethnically, politically and even tribally, and that division is skillfully utilized by the big powers to achieve their own ends. For example, had all Muslim country representatives quietly walked out of the General Assembly en bloc in 2002 when George Bush appealed for support for his invasion of Iraq, wouldn’t he have at least delayed his macabre onslaught? The fact of the matter is leaders of a vast majority of these countries do not have popular mandate to rule and they survive partly on the support of foreign powers and partly on the backing of their own gendarmerie. Because of undemocratic governance, there is an oceanic gap between what their subjects think and want and what their rulers believe and provide. Such a gap could easily be noticed in respect of Palestine and Israel.

In the Muslim world in general and Arab states in particular, while rulers want friendly relations with Israel and therefore are prepared to remain muted over Israel’s apartheid treatment of Arabs within Israel and in Occupied territories, their subjects demand boycott of Israel and at least open condemnation of US’ unconditional support for Israel’s war crimes. Since October 7 weekly Friday sermons in almost every mosque have been preaching to worshippers the religious significance of Palestine and its Al-Aqsa Mosque, and of the sufferings of Palestinians under Israeli occupation and oppression. These sermons end in heartrending supplications for divine favour. Indirectly, these sermons also convey to the listeners the ineptness of Arab rulers. There is therefore an atmosphere of disappointment, frustration and anger among worshippers over current Arab leadership that has virtually surrendered Palestine to Israel by kowtowing to American pressure. Public protests and demonstrations are becoming regular features in Muslim countries and elsewhere. That is why a second Arab Spring could not be discounted if there is no cease fire and stoppage of Israel’s carnage. As al-Nakba II gains momentum it may become the harbinger for ar-rabi’ al-Arabi or Arab Spring II.

Those who are justifying the attack by Hamas and condemning the response by Israel, please give your honest opinion as to what would the Srilanka government do if LTTE fired 5000 rockets into Colombo causing death and destruction, killing 1000 unarmed Sinhalese mostly women and children and abducting 200 more. What is happening in Gaza happened to Tamils and I am sure that none of the vociferous people had said anything against that atrocity.

Possible out comes from this conflict : This a fight to finish with Jews supported by most of Christian countries against entire Muslim countries supported by communists.
          1. Israel will suffer death and destruction, but will come through victorious. Palestinians will be ethnically cleansed from Gaza and west bank putting an end to the problem. Muslim countries attacking Israel will also suffer badly and may be doomed forever.
          2. Due to concerted attack by Muslim countries, Israel will be pushed to the brink of extinction. They will take “Samson option” and destroy all Muslim countries around before vanishing. Israel has nearly 1000 nuclear war heads will be used in the process.
Either way, it is a lose-lose situation for Arabs in particular and Muslims in the world.

    Author:
“Nakba I of 1948 ended in the flight of almost three quarter of a million Arabs from their homes and villages…..”

What the author omits to mention is the fact that this was a result of five Arab states (Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria) attacking Israel when it declared an independent state in 1948 following the United Nations’ partition of Palestine, which plan the Arabs did not accept, not recognizing Israel’s right to exist as a state. Their aim, which failed, was nothing short of the annihilation of Israel.

Muslims always have double standards. In 1947, several millions of Hindus were murdered and driven out of their homes and villages by Muslims. India accepted Pakistan and took in those refugees for the sake of peace. Had Arabs done the same, none of these would have happened. Instead of that Arabs went to destroy Israel and failed. That defeat did not prevent them to try twice more to destroy Israel. At every effort, Arabs lost and Israel became bigger and stronger. On this occasion Iran is trying to destroy Israel, albeit in cowardly manner using Hamas and Hisbullah terror groups. Hamas has been preparing for it for the past several years with the full cooperation of people of Gaza. How can Hamas dig tunnel 500 meters long without the knowledge of people of Gaza. Therefore the people are complicit in the crime and will get divine punishment.

    Author:
“It was this desperation that provoked Hamas to fire those rockets [on October 7], killing several hundreds of Israelis….”

For the second time (the first was in his earlier article), Ali glosses over the unprecedented atrocity committed by Hamas as a firing of rockets, conveniently omitting–or perhaps he is in denial?–the barbaric massacre carried out by Hamas terrorists on the same day under cover of the rocket attacks, which has led to the unprecedented ferocity of the present aerial bombardment of Gaza by the Israelis.

In the past, Hamas just regularly fired volleys of rockets from Gaza, in response to which Israel carried out limited aerial bombardments. It was basically tit for tat. This time Hamas has crossed a line and Israel has no option but to keep attacking Gaza until Hamas, who do not recognize Israel’s right to exist and are sworn to its destruction, are eliminated or surrender.

You say, “October 7 was Hamas’ Mavil Aru moment.” Was it?
        You should watch this video.
This is the video a lot of people are searching for – Former Adviser to the US Secretary of Defence (in the Trump administration) and Foreign Policy expert Colonel (Rtd) Douglas MacGregor’s interview with Tucker Carlson which was released 5 days ago. youtube.com/watch?v=mJJ9zEPSAwo
        .
Starting at the 9:56 mark, this is what Colonel MacGregor said:
Quote: “We have seen quite recently, within the last 24 hours or so (most probably October 24-25) some of our special ops forces and Israeli special ops forces WENT INTO GAZA to reconnoiter, to plan for where they might want to go to free hostages and make an impact and THEY WERE SHOT TO PIECES AND TOOK HEAVY LOSSES as I understand it that is where we’re headed and I don’t see it as a win for Israel in any way, shape or form and I certainly think it is very dangerous for us………” Unquote
(I used English subtitles – I am a visual learner. The entire video is worth watching.)
        Contd’…..

        • 2
          6

Were the world renowned American Navy SEALs also involved in US special ops forces’ incursion into Gaza? In addition to Colonel MacGregor’s revelation, there is unconfirmed news that Hamas has killed a group of US/Israel special ops forces in Gaza and the rest were taken as hostages. This is proved by the sudden increase in the number of hostages in the IDF’s latest update from 222 to 239. Seventeen (17) new hostages! And, also, this revelation explained Gaza’s sudden communication blackout (imposed by the US?) to conceal this US special ops forces’ ill-fated reconnoiter in Gaza. As I understand, this is a reconnoiter, not even the actual rescue mission.
Israel has reportedly begun the second phase of its war against Gaza. They have clearly shown the world the difference between a “real war” and a “special military operation”. I think the world is beginning to understand that if the Gaza-Israel war escalated into a full scale global war, it would be deadlier than all previous wars.

Again, the author repeats the untruth that there is “apartheid” “within Israel and occupied territories.”

A definition of apartheid: “[I]mplementation and maintenance of a system of legalized racial segregation in which one racial group is deprived of political and civil rights.”

Israeli Arabs, who are citizens of Israel, have the same rights, political and otherwise, as the Jewish Israelis. They are, for example, represented in the Knesset, Israel’s parliament. The most that can be said is that there is some degree of systemic discrimination of Israeli Arabs in Israel.

The Arabs in the “occupied territories” are not Israeli citizens and their unequal treatment has no racial basis, so there is no apartheid there either.

      LJ,

One feels sorry for both sides. The Jews have suffered much throughout history and need a place to settle. You say that Israel has a right to exist. Yes, they do have a right to exist, but not as a huge new nation driving away and massacring traditional inhabitants. Jews never wanted to even integrate into European society (anyone assimilating with them immediately became a Jew). Settling into the Middle East have made them the same Nazis as their old torturers. The Father Abraham title makes them too different to ever function normally within any human society. And most of the Jews that migrated to Israel in recent time have more European than Jewish DNa. It seems that even if you have 10% Jewish genes, you have a right to live in Israel and chase away the Arabs. Is the place to be growing eternally?

The sufferings of the Palestinians are horrific! The reason the Arab nations bombed Israel in 1948 was because the Israelis had already chased and massacred these Palestinians off their lands. Did Israel give them air-conditioned condos in Gaza to live in, with assistance into e.g. starting fishing industries on their coast? Some allowance into the worst parts of the Israeli stolen land and was given for crop growing. No, the place is a prison camp!

Most Jews are well aware of the statuses they have created. They are unhappy about it too. They need to be helped. It is only within themselves can they come into awareness and repentance. UN and Guterres have to be the world body to once and for all give them guidance and assistance in their continuing displacement and suffering. Let’s hope the Catholic church gives them assistance too.

Remember the lines from “the Walrus and the carpenter”?
          .
I weep for you,’ the Walrus said:
          I deeply sympathize.’
With sobs and tears he sorted out
          Those of the largest size,
          Holding his pocket-handkerchief
          Before his streaming eyes.
          .

          You’ve had a pleasant run!
Shall we be trotting home again?’
But answer came there none —
And this was scarcely odd, because
          They’d eaten every one.”

RTF: “Yes, they [the Jews] do have a right to exist [in Israel], but not as a huge new nation driving away and massacring traditional inhabitants.”

When did this “driving away and massacring traditional inhabitants” take place? Actually, the Jews who migrated to Israel originally acquired all the lands they settled in legally and with payment. It was the Arabs, who resented this Jewish expansion, who first attacked the Jewish settlers and then the ugly conflict started.

RTF: “The reason the Arab nations bombed Israel in 1948 was because the Israelis had already chased and massacred these Palestinians off their lands.”

If what you say is correct, then why didn’t these Arab states who attacked Israel have the limited objective of just driving away the Jews from the lands from which, you claim, the Jews had driven off Palestinians? They didn’t recognize Israel’s right to exist as a state in any part of Palestine and their aim was the total annihilation of Israel, in preparation for which they warned the Palestinians to flee from the midst of the Jews. Israel won and the Arabs who stayed put became Israeli citizens and those who fled became “refugees.”

        • 2
          15

          RTF:
You may be surprised to know how many Palestinians, especially in the West Bank and Gaza, who still believe that all of that land belongs to the Palestinians exclusively and Israel does not have the right exist as a state in any part of it. Of course, this has always been the position of Hamas, with whom Israel is at war as we write.

In contrast, here’s an extract from the Declaration of Israel’s Independence 1948:

          Quote
[The State of Israel] will foster the development of the country for the benefit of all its inhabitants; it will be based on freedom, justice and peace …; it will ensure complete equality of social and political rights to all its inhabitants irrespective of religion, race or sex; it will guarantee freedom of religion, conscience, language, education and culture; it will safeguard the Holy Places of all religions; and it will be faithful to the principles of the Charter of the United Nations.
          Unquote

Would it be safe to say that Israel has been true to this part of its charter?

            RTF:

It has been rightly said, “If the Palestinians put down their weapons, there would be peace in Israel but, if the Jews put down their weapons, there would be no Jews left.”

This is no exaggeration given the attitude, not only of Hamas, but many like-minded Palestinians who not only oppose the Jewish state but also the Jewish possession of any part of that land, which they [the Palestinians] think belongs to them exclusively.

Ok LJ,………..Guess the Palestinians in Gaza are vengeful lot thriving on eye for and eye and virgins in heaven. Peace, they do not want, and killing Jews is a rapture to them and a sure path to Sharia heaven. Even when they see their children killed, it’s something holy. Rest of the Arab world gets a high seeing the carnage.

Guess Israel tried, but they need to try more. They can’t be living the Western life in that region. They need to don the purdah and look like Arabs. No dancing around in exclusive Kibutzes in sandals and passing the very annoying Jerusalema song to the rest of the world. Sivasegaram, you have no clue of what is happening. What is said about Israel, is the same with Pakistan. Land occupied by Pakistan was 100% Hindu before Mogul invasion. Hindus were forcibly converted and those refused were murdered and driven off. At the time of independence Hindus were 20% mainly concentrated in Sindh province. Now Hindus are only 1%. Is this not worse than in Palestine.

          LJ,
          _
Israelis bought the land from the British….all legal tender, right over the heads of the Palestinians. Entirely the British fault who didn’t give a hoot for the Palestinians. And Arabs never had the option of simply chasing the Jews away from the land. The Jews stayed put with the British power and control. And when the Arabs attacked in 1948, the Israelis fought back with British help, of which the Arabs lost.

But all that is history. Jews were desperate and afraid by what was happening to them in Europe. Everybody wanted to protect them, including the Arabs. Palestinians were just sheep herders with no sophistication living Sharia lives. Then the cultures clashed. And then more and more Jews started migrating to Israel after they found it was so easy to have driven away the Palestinians. They encouraged Jewish migration and also took in African Jews. Why in God’s name didn’t they stop migration in say, the 1980’s?

If they wanted peace, why didn’t they develop Gaza into another Hong Kong or Singapore? It could have been valuable real estate on the shores of the Mediterranean. OK…maybe the Gazareans were a wild lot, full of anger and hatred. But I believe the Israelis didn’t give a hoot for them and favored their own personal continued development and expansion over looking after the angry Gazareans.

It would have been far cheaper for them and USA, if they had done so. They should have done so with a huge apology to the Palestinian people. They didn’t even try that. They reveled in their power and glory, with the Christian Zionists madly egging them on with their visions of Armageddon.

At least now they, the US and those EU countries should Stop and Think a bit. Giving the Gazareans state-of-the-art expensive condo-skyscrapers is the first step.

My point articulated is different, whatever the historical Fact of Mediaeval ages or beyond to the present, their ‘INACTION’ is Palpably, Culpable in culmination of the UNSURMOUNTABLE suffering INFLICTED on Innocent PALESTINIAN and ISRAELI citizens!!! NONE OTHER!!? Why????
They were offered “2-State solution”, (may be Israel didn’t pursue too and some may adduce they were ‘cunning’ and evasive – well be the case)!!!??? My point is, rather COZYING or “SNUGGLE UPTO” Hisbulla, Hamas and those of that ilk and “watching from a distance, the ‘FUN’ of ‘developing scenario”!!?? My point is, Palestinians should and could have made a more ‘POSITIVE CONTRIBUTION’ to make that “IDEAL”, a REALITY, than sitting back providing cover for the terrorists!!!???
IS IT NOT THEHISTORICAL TRUTH!!!??? Or, is it that Palestinians’ endeavour, pursued actively 2-State solution and ‘FAILED’, astoundingly ‘MISSED-OUT’??? please enlighten me ‘FACTS to CONTRARY’!!!??
Culpability is BOTH of ‘Action’ and ‘INACTION’ to activate processes that ENABLES PREVENTION of ADVERSE OUTCOMES such as we encounter NOW in Gaza!!!???

Israel has been occupying the West Bank for 55 years and blockading Gaze since 2007. The Palestinians in both territories have no rights and legal protection whilst the illegal Israeli settlers in the West Bank have legal rights and protection as Jewish Israeli citizens. THAT is Apartheid as clearly found by Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch and Israel’s own leading HR organisation, BT’Salem.
As for Palestinians with Israeli citizenship, they too agree that a system of Apartheid is in place within Israel proper as BT’Salem found. I believe them over anyone who does not live in Israel. Israel meets all the definitions of an Apartheid state!

Pakistan has been occupying Indus Valley for 76 years., where Dravidians who are the rightful owners have to get permission from Pakistan even to visit it. Illegal Pakistani settlers are preventing Dravidians to take possession of their ancestral land. Is this not Apartheid. The worst apartheid is practiced by Saudi Arabia which does not allow full and open right to worship to non Muslims. No religious text, idol or picture is allowed to be taken in and if anyone is caught with them are imprisoned and deported. Not allowing non Muslims to visit Mecca is outright apartheid. Any form of discrimination amounts to apartheid and most of the Muslim countries are practicing apartheid.

Saudi Arabia is a theocracy and is part of the west’s a neo-liberal economic framework, nobody says otherwise, there is no pretence of ‘liberal democracy’ like the Israelis. What Pakistan does in occupied Kashmir does not make Israel any less an apartheid state.
Sadly, people’s views on the Israel- Palestine conflict is clouded by bigotry and prejudice rather than historic facts.

“It was this desperation that provoked Hamas to fire those rockets, killing several hundreds of Israelis – another human tragedy that should not be sanitized”
No, it shouldn’t be sanitized, and I commend Dr. Ali, as a Muslim, for having the courage to say that. But the fact is that those primitive rockets didn’t kill hundreds of Israelis. Most were killed by plain shooting and stabbing. A crime as brutal as bombing the most densely populated place on earth.

OC, did you hear about a bomb blast in Kerala, yesterday. It happened on the final day of a Jehovah Witness convention. I mention this to show how enablers tend to take sides and there by end up spreading biased messages 1) Initial reaction of BJP was to blame Muslim community and exploit tragedy to attack ruling LDF govt which disagrees with country’s stand in UN. ( abstained from voting ) 2) Few influential ones ( BJP state minister, party heads ) made serious but false allegations 3) within hours a Jehovah Witness member surrendered to police claiming responsibility.

    Dr. Ameer Ali
NO. ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!! I am totally against this article.
An Arab Spring II will only benefit Israel.
Violence and riots in the name of Palestine is an insult to that country. Besides, it was the CIA which was behind Arab Spring I. How could you even write this kind of thing?
If there is any kind of “Spring”, it should be in Israel. In any case, 80% of Israelists want their Prime Minister to go! He hasn’t made any effort to get the hostages released. Instead, his military bombed private houses after it was revealed that hostages were kept in private houses. His government has absolutely zero regard for hostages.
Israel is committing genocide, ethnic cleansing and crimes against humanity in occupied Palestine while powerful countries silently watching. The US is fully responsible for Israel’s actions in Gaza. I don’t think the world will ever forget the fact that the US was against a ceasefire in occupied Palestine.

Violence and riots only derail all efforts for a ceasefire in Gaza.
The support for Palestine is growing continuously and rapidly. Not everyone is silently watching. Some groups and individuals are already boycotting products and services of large companies that support anti-Palestine campaigns to make the world aware of a call for a ceasefire in Gaza. For example, some locations of Starbucks in the US are being closed. Most Millennials and Gen Z are supporting this campaign and they voluntarily disseminate this news among millions of people around the world through social media, especially on TikTok. One must have a balanced mind when it comes to analysing this conflict. Israel did suffer a brutal attack. In the manner of their killing obvious civilians Hamas acted with inhuman brutality which will drive good people away from them. But, it does not condone Israel campaign of indiscriminate bombing. of civilians. It is counterproductive inviting dislike of Israel. The Palestinian civilians are not responsible for the October attack. Why kill them. Pressing a button and dropping bombs killing hundreds is the same as the beheading of people. The Jews who claim pity because of the holocaust cannot be excused for what they do to the civilians in Gaza. They should know better. They should ask their extremist government to stop the invasion and bring about peach.

A very passionate essay by Dr.Ameer Ali who was at Peradeniya and sometime Warden Akbar Hall, in the early 70s. Perhaps, he is now in his mid 80s.
Anyway, I am with him on the tragedy [ An understatement ] that is unfolding in Palestine.

    This is misplaced Vengeance……

      /
The hypocrisy of the so-called Western powers stood up for the Jews and did not allow the Palestinians to even dream of the solutions. Most people don’t talk about the elephant in the room. It is the developed world and their double standards.
      /
So what else do the Palestinians have to lose? It is not reasonable for those outside the territories to order Palestinians in the Gaza Strip or elsewhere not to go outside the Strip. While someone living outside of Palestine is always safe in the hands of their host governments, poor people are easy victims when a war escalates. It was the same in our war between LTTE rebels and government forces. It is no different from Eritrean looking back. Only the poor and the innocent become easy victims of war. Most of the Sri Lankan Tamils I met in Europe, US and many other places were not genuine about anything once they got used to the way of life in their countries of refuge.

There is a saying in Tamil: “Avalai Thoduvan Een, Avathi Paduvaneen?”
Why would somebody do something like this?

Hamas fired 5 or 6 rockets and bragged to the world that they fired 6,000 rockets in one morning. Come on guys!

Watch, on Nov 12th, many times more than the 1500 people going to fall down for Diwali fireworks, in India and Ceylon. Hamas managed only 1500 with 6000 rockets? What a joke? Then they are going to heaven they are going to ask for their 72s also?

Why don’t you guys send the Iranian rocket makers to Sivagangai, TN, India. They would come back at least as good firecracker makers. Then you too celebrate this Diwali with Hindus, The Israelis will run back to the EU, from where they came, this time. After that they will never turn to the side of Hamas’ Kingdom, Gaza. Then you don’t have to spend your time cracking your fireworks in CT.
It is really worrisome if you expect some sympathy spared for your rhetoric. Take a long vacation and a good long nap for a few days and nights.

Israel has no right to exist, if it engages in genocide and ethnic cleansing. Both these gross crimes are catastrophic to human life and not just war crimes but crimes against humanity. If one examines the plotting in Britain of Zion in the early 19th century, and a “return” to biblical capitals and seats of Jewish origin as per their holy book, it is a trail of terror unleashed against Britain as well as British-ruled Palestine in the lead up to the creation of Israel on 14 May 1948. Thereafter, it was a trail of mayhem for the displaced Arabs, who had to flee or be content with constant harassment, killing of their children and demolishing of their homes in the West Bank, which the Zionists refer to as Judea and Samaria. Now the time has come, for citizens of the world to unite against oppression and enable a Palestinian state, with full powers to establish airports, have an Airforce, navy and full independence. It can be done, if especially the Arab people rise against their puppet leaders and pressure them to help establish the state of Palestine, which is long overdue.

” Israel has not right to exist if it engages in genocide and ethnic cleaning”. Then what about the so-called Sinhalese Buddhist state called Sri Lanka that is also engaging in the same activities against the native Tamils from the north and east? Does it also have a right to exist? From one of your previous comments, you will say yes as you consider these same crimes committed against the island’s Tamils trivial. despite the fact in May 2009 around 147000 innocent Tamil civilians were deliberately targeted and killed by the Sri Lankan state and armed forces on the pretext of fighting with the LTTE. Many were asked to move by the Sri Lankan state to a so-called safe zone, which they complied and once they moved there indiscriminately bombed and killed. Where you the author of these article and other Muslims now coming here and crying about human right? All silently supporting and enjoying what happened.

      • 3
        1

As for ethnic cleansing within 70 years of independence the Sinhalese Sri Lankan state has successfully reduced the island’s Tamil population from around 26-28% to 16% and ethnically cleansed 30% of the ancient historical Tamil homeland and settled them with outside Sinhalese and now even the remaining 70% is increasingly under threat. So why are you and the author of this article and rest of the pseudo human rights mobs now screeching here so silent about this. Why one rule for the Tamils and another for the Arabs, as they have political and economic power?

      /
Accords HAD signed between Israel and the PLO in 1993 and 1995 established the Palestinian National Authority (PNA) as a self-governing interim administration in Areas A and B of the West Bank and the Gaza Strip./
      /
After the Israeli disengagement from Gaza in 2005, the PNA held elections in 2006, in which Hamas won a governing majority of seats (74 of 132 seats). Following the Battle of Gaza in 2007, the PNA effectively split in two, with Hamas assuming control of the Gaza Strip and Fatah retaining control over Areas A and B of the West Bank; the Fatah–Hamas conflict is ongoing as of 2022.
      /
Among the G20, nine countries (Argentina, Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, and Turkey) have recognized Palestine as a state (Indonesia and Saudi Arabia only recognize Palestine) while ten countries (Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Mexico, the United Kingdom, and the United States) have not.] Although these countries generally support some form of two-state solution to the conflict, they take the position that their recognition of a Palestinian state is conditioned to direct negotiations between Israel and the PNA.

Sri Lankan Muslims or Moors, origin is from South Asia meaning South India and that too from Thamizh South India and all genetic tests have proven that contrary to what they keep on loudly crowing there is very little or far below average Arab or other western Asian in their genetic makeup. Whatever is only in their heads and is another Arabian night fairy tale. The latest comprehensive DNA test done on all Sri Lankans have proven genetically we are all the same, meaning we are all Dravidians (meaning Thamizh origin) with some having slight mixture of North Indian, Arab, European or other. This also includes the Sri Lankan Muslims, and the test categorically proves that the ancestors of Sri Lankan Muslims are from South Asia and not from any part of Western Asia, meaning they are Thamizh converts to Islam. This means the both the ancestral maternal and paternal ancestry for over 95% of the Sri Lankan Moors is Thamizh Dravidian.

      • 5
        1

Only around 5% may have a very distant male Arab ancestor and the rest of their ancestors are all Dravidian Thamizh. This is the reason this hardly reflects on their DNA. Proving both mummy and daddy are both Dravidian Thamizh with around 5% having an Arab Great great great 20 times grandfather. Even if they even had 10% Arab or other western Asian ancestry it would have reflected in their DNA, but it does not, proving the so-called Arab ancestry that they go around crowing about is not there at all. They are Thamizh Muslims, and this part Arab origin lie was deliberately used by the British, their elite and the Sri Lankan state to deliberately divide them from the rest of the Thamizh and brainwash their 100% Thamizh Muslim masses to think they are Arabs and hate their actual rich Thamizh Islamic heritage from South India and hate their fellow non-Muslim Thamizh and join hands with the Chingkalla state to oppress their fellow non-Muslim Thamizh, this only benefited their elite/politicians and the Chingkallams.

        • 5
          1

The Muslim elite and politicians still want this lie that they are half Arab to perpetuate and keep on repeating this, despite DNA proving they are almost 100% Thamizh, as this immensely benefits them, as they keep the Thamizh Muslim masses on the island divided from the rest of the Thamizh. What Sir Ponnambalam Ramanathan and many other Thamizh on this forum and stated in other places have now been proven to be true and they have been vindicated, that the so-called Sri Lankan Moors are not Arabs or part Arabs South Indian origin Thamizh Muslim immigrants. Despite facing ridicule abuse from lots, even from self-serving Thamizh.

          • 5
            1

Islam is a religion which is practiced by many races, ethnicities and linguistic groups, through the world. Other than the slender thread of religion these people are all different, only in Sri Lanka to deliberately divide the Thamizh a religion has been used as an ethnic identity and to justify this division and imagined or miniscule amount of Arab that even DNA cannot trace has been made the blanket origin for the entire community. Despite calling Muslim brotherhood there is nothing like that a Turk does not like the Arab or Iranian and vice versa and they all hate the Kurds. There is nothing in common between a Malay and Thamizh Muslim or a European Slavic Bosnian Muslim with a Nigerian, as much there in nothing common with me with a white European Christian. Other than religion. This is why they are disunited. Even the so-called Arab world is widely disparate. It is in reality Arabic speaking and largely Islamic but racially and ethnically the Arabic speaking population in all these countries are very different from each other and have different from each other. Look at a so called Arab from Sudan, very Negroid with a dash of Arab, the Lebanese or Syrian more southern European, The Arabized Berbers mixed with sub–Saharan Africans in North Africa, the Egyptians, who had a pre-Islamic ancient civilization,

It is the Coptic language used by the Egyptian Coptic Christians that is the direct descendant of ancient Egyptian and not the Arabic language that came with Islamic conquest.
Just like English, French and Spanish spread amongst various people and races through colonial conquest, and now you get an English, French, speaking world, the Arabic language, culture, spread through these countries with the Islamic conquest and some inter marrying and replaced the original language and religions of these areas. This is why they so disparate genetically, ethnically and racially, even the Arabic dialects are so diverse that many of them are mutually unintelligible to another, unless the use standard Arabic or at times Egyptian Arabic as most of them watch their moves and TV programs. The actual Arabs actually originate from the Gulf, parts of Iraq and eastern Jordan desert. However even here now they heavily mixed with former African slaves, South Asians and others. This the reason the Islamic world and the so-called Arab world are not that united and cannot easily relate to one another, despite a common religion or a common language.

The so called Human Rights protector USA is blindly supporting Israel by moving its aircraft carriers to the Meditranean Sea, shouldn’t Russia and China moves their aircraft carriers too to the Meditranean Sea to observe the action of USA? Yes, this move would be a dangerous move although the UN General Assembly has passed a resolution to stop the war and negotiate, Israel is ignoring the GA’s request. The USA openly claims that its in the Meditraneal Sea to protect Israel, so it should be equally important for Russia and China to safeguard the interst of the Palestinians against Israel’s war crimes based on UN GA’s resolution. At this juncture I would like to openly say that I am totally against the Hamas’s actions but at the same time I am of the opinion that claiming to punish Hamas, Israel has no right to kill Palestinians as its “war crime” and “Human Rights Violation”. The failure of Israel’s intelligence is no excuse to kill innocent Palestinians.
Alternatively, only other solution would be for all the countries that voted for the UN GA’s resolution to pass laws in their own countries which will allow any Hamas or Israeli politican, armed forces persons or anyone else who have committed war crimes to be arrested and tried under those countries own laws.

“The failure of Israel’s intelligence is no excuse to kill innocent Palestinians.
You mean secretly planning or failing to blow the whistle when they come to know that hideous crimes are not anybody’s fault but penetrating and hulling Gaza continuously and finding out what is cooking there is only Israel’s fault? The commission investigated the negligence of the 4/21 said 10,000 people did know in Langkang, including every minister in the cabinet to many lowest level police constables, that NTJ was going to bomb the Tamils Churches and tourist hotels. Nobody did anything about it because it was going to be paid by Tamils and some foreigners. Otherwise, how did Hamas build such a sophistically boobytrapped extensive tunnel network with the aid money given to Gaza to feed the refugees? Why didn’t somebody ask about the missing aid transfer to Gaza? Iran gives only bombs to Hamas’ killings but the West gives aid for Hamas’ food, too? Did everyone in Gaza think this time its death is surely coming to Israel? That is why Kavignar Kannathasan wrote “If there is an advocate to justify the crime theft, even the thieves are honorary citizens, but if a fabricating slanderer is born to tear the integrity of Pathini Devio, Kannagi, she is one who led a shameful heinous life”. Everything hangs on the victory of that word Rhetoric.

What Iran did to Mahsa Amini has been done to Shani Luk Hamas. While appealing to world sympathy the helpless poor girl was denuded, tortured, thrown in hospital, and let die but refused to let her go to her marvelous country, Germany. When her body came to Germany, their novel scientists will examine every cell of her body and release the truth of at which second what kind of torturing her body was enduring in the hands of those who act against UN’s regulations on hostages. Now the UN is taking supplies inside to Gaza and letting those be stolen by Hamas, but not distributed to the disabled, women and children. I did not see, other than able bodied masculine men, any other weaker community carrying any food items on those videos. One-time Lankawe RavanaLE was engaging in propaganda thinking winning the rhetoric was the sovereignty of Langkang, the Wildlife Sanctuary. But we saw how that game flip flopped in front of the world viewers, when the Evil Emperor was caught in the hand of a German Public Chanel Anchorage. Sorry, it was not the American Jewish Media that broke the back Mr. Evil in front of the world. Now the sympathy seekers to Hamas are doing the same game.

Where these artful story tellers when Yazidi genocide? Just because they were praying for a peacock, these barbaric crowds made every woman and the child girl caught as sex slaves and killed the men, they are their children, fathers, brothers. When young women are caught in these barbarians’ hands, regardless of whether they sacrificed anything or not, they tend to believe that they have reached heaven, where the promised 72 virgins are waiting for them. Why did that innocent young soul who went to Israel for fun ended in that painful death? Can the justifies of Hamas explain to others, what was the reason for a German child being killed like that for a war with Israel? Those who went to Germany, from their Muslim Countries during the ISIS & Al Qaeda time, as refugees, now only protesting Israel but forgetting the Hamas like organization, Al Qaeda’s anti-woman activities they too faced? Western countries now really, really obligated to use the power and bring out those refugees from the head of Hamas. Failing that will bring UN’s rule of engagement will become satiric scripts and countries will kidnap hostages to win wars. UN already this happened in Mullivaikkal because UN doesn’t like the word Tamils. In human pain and suffering, one is intolerably too many!

Antony Blinken: “We don’t want an escalation in the war in Gaza. But we are ready for war.”
While preparing for war in West Asia, the US warns others not to be prepared!!!
    .
John Kirby: “This is not the time for a ceasefire. It will only benefit Hamas.”
How could it benefit Hamas when all those killed by the Israel bombing campaign are civilians? According to UNICEF, more than 420 children are being killed or injured in Gaza each day.
Since 1948, Israel has been after Palestinian blood. What about the US? How many more civilian casualties do they want to see in Gaza before declaring a ceasefire?
Hello, Mr. Kirby, take some guts and tell the number. How many more Palestinian children and women should die before Mr. Biden makes up his mind for a ceasefire? Tell the number. Then, at least we know.
If it is not the time for a ceasefire, is it the time for an all out war? A few days ago, Mr. Biden said “after the war, there should be a two-state solution for Palestine”. After the war? Then he said “no escalation”! He has no clue what he is talking about. He and his officials are super confused.

It is true the current round of hostilities began with Hamas attacking Israelis and taking them hostage. Hamas needs to be condemned for their terror campaign. Similarly, Israel’s collective punishment imposed on Palestinians by indiscriminately bombing of Gaza; prohibiting of food, water, medicine and electricity; and locking down of the West Bank need to be condemned. Last February, Ben Gvir, who is comparable to the likes of Gnanasara and Priyasad in Sri Lanka, was appointed chair of a task force to punish Palestinians. He has been convicted in the past of incitement against Arabs. His ultranationalist Otzma Yehudit party is in Netanyahu’s govt. Even the Police Commissioner of Israel went against Gvir’s proposition to impose collective punishment against Palestinians. Last February, even Shin Bet chief warned Ben Gvir about the ongoing crackdown against the Palestinians. He told Gvir: “Your activity is creating a feeling of collective harassment. This is agitating [East] Jerusalem and may cause a broad flare-up at this sensitive time”. Gvir reportedly dismissed Bar’s warnings. Hamas terror occurred in this social and political context. An immediate ceasefire with an end to the siege, with all hostages held by both sides released, there could be a way forward.
