A no confidence motion against Minister of Megapolis and Western Development Champika Ranawaka was handed over to Speaker Karu Jayasuriya today.
The no confidence motion containing 42 signatures of joint opposition parliamentarians cited the Minister’s alleged involvement in the recent accident in Rajagiriya which left one person critically injured, and for allegedly dodging action against him by falsifying information in relation to the incident.
This is the second no confidence motion against a government minister in less than a fortnight. Last month, the opposition also handed over a no confidence against Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayake.

I do not think so, Patriot …
Because these kind of politicians survives long time in SL because Srilankans have very short memory span on politics … Good example is Chamapaka …. Talk about Buddhist principles and even go for monk hood for short time with whole body shaving … But this guy can lie even while sleeping … Always bull shitting … Declaring to expose Electricity mafia soon but never materialised, promising all power from manner gas by 2020, mega city projects to the tune of 30 billon(?) while inaugurating just a bus stand developed by last government, not talking about 13th amendment which was the reason for leaving last government , just making another level of corruption by introducing vehicle emission scheme, taking NO responsibility to anything from driving vehicles to washing hands off from problems in electricity being the former power minister for years, ….. list goes on …. If ‘talk’ can ‘walk’ this is the guy … Would betray anybody to further his ambitions to be the president … Rajitha and Champaka learns from each other and sharpen their bull shitting skills all the time … When people have no shame at all and not taking responsibility, they can do anything …. They lie left and right and they do any immoral thing …

Bad Apples should be removed and not keeping them to infest the rest.
That’s the Right way to go about in Good Governance. Time for liars to be dropped from power.
They have no place in the GG.
In the previous ruling government the whole lot were rotten and continued to infest the country to be rotten to the core.
The rotten past rulers can go on with their denials all because Namal gang believes they have big support.
It’s the right decision by the GG to remove Army personnel security and replacing with the Police.
Stop crying foul Namal. Find your own security.
You are wrong NR.
