Notable absentee MR in Parliament. It appears the Bugger is taking refuge in CT publishing articles under his name written by his cohorts. CT why not allocate a column to him to prop his image now that all his hoardings have been brought down. Madamulane Pimpiya.

As I thought MPs representing the JVP voted in favor of the motion.

JVP seems inching towards the Clansmen.

Could you tell us whether AKD and other JVP members vote with MR’s faction or with the government?

JVP voted for the motion. Which means it voted with the JO.

          Thanks.

“JVP voted for the motion. Which means it voted with the JO.”

Which means JVP under AKD was sitting on the fence so long that the stupid people has been deceived by them once again, now it seems the party has joined the crooks. Expected but not this soon.

Party’s interest, long time survival, anti democratic ideology, anti minority, anti that, anti this, anti devolution, ……….. must have made them realise that it is prudent to back and support the crooks.

MR’s absence: Clear sign of Govt’s deal with Rajapaksas says VP MP Vijitha Herath.

I thought it was bit rich especially coming from those who voted with the crooks.

My advice to the so called “Joint Opposition” is this.
You are a disgrace group to the nation and people of this island. You are collaborators of corruption, racism, and family dictatorship. You are just working for one fmaily while the whole nation is suffering due to the unlawful, unhumane and undemocratic activities of that family.

Congrats Ravi. Your task is thankless but you are reviving the economy slowly but surely. The majority you obtained in your favour must be putting the JO on the ropes. So carry on irrespective of what your crítics say as there is light at the end of the túnnel.

How long have you been a keen observer/student of politics? What did you expect from him, after all, he is Sri Lankan politician.

Crooks always use words such as treachery, safety of the nation, foreign conspiracy, sovereignty, unitary state, Sinha Le, Kotty Le, ……….. in order to hide themselves from stupid people.

      Rajapakshe is born fool.

      Examples
      1) His so called gigantic projects brought nothing to country but to the pockets of highly abusive his men and relatives

      2) Instead of relieving the public, his acts brought all harm to them along the years after teh post war

      3) So called numerous projects stay not briniging anything to this day… but all these sucked tax payers funds… this has been a long term burden to the poor of poor than to anyone else.

Those who long identified him are the minority. Rajapakshe is no better to WW by both mentality and revengeful nature. Education maketh a man fulfil. The both are proved to have nothign in their minds but devious agendas that are even not knowin to average ordinary men.

Congratulations. One more win against the Mara and his stooges. MaRa was not there to vote. Why? Is he not an MP?

You must be happy now. Amarisiri was well aware their motion will be defeated.

JVP Anura K Got 65,000 preferential votes.

    You Got 115,000 preferential votes.

Remember, the motion was not really against you. It was against the Yahapalanaya Govt. that replaced the Mara MaRa ChaTu MaRa and his cronies.

However, you better fix your deficiencies.

Batalanda Ranil couldn’t get a 2/3 rd majority even with his mate Bodhi Sira on display in the chamber.

Vellala Sambandan has made the 2nd declaration in Vaddukodai although the news paper spellet it as Vadukkottai.

Although short and sweet, it is the most important statement to come from the Vellala community in Srilanka.

His new list of demands can not be met even with a two thirds majority in parliament.

Even if Bodhi Sira gives them 13 A, lock stock and barrel, it will still fall well short of Vellala Sambandan’s new demands.

So the TNA will be pushing for a referendum.

With the 2 Million Diaspora getting the right to vote which Batalanda Ranil and Mangalan are working on , that will give a clear majority with the Yahapalana suckers vote which brought in the current govt.

This was not “Batalanda Ranil’s” bill to get 2/3 it was Jarapaksa and Goons to prove that they can win a motion they put forward. They failed and that too miserably, even their clown leader did not show-up.

Should this surprise any one that these clowns could not count to know that they did not have enough votes?

Rest of the garbage you have written is not even worth pissing on let alone commenting.

IF Mahinda lokka coulodn’t even bother to vote why should Ranil worry about 2/3rds?

what are you jabbering about mate? we are talking of that crook Ravis no confidence and your talking about Sampanthan and diasporians its like chalk and cheese mate?

So tell us machang why didnt Kurunagala MP Mahinda Rajapakse take part in the no confidence motion against that crook Ravi K,I was under the impression Mahinda wanted to work for the good of the country

Hasn’t he done enough Machan, for the country and the nation and the dalits in particular.

Now your Batalanda buddy has hijacked. Colombo Port City, Mattala Airport and even Hambantota Harbour.

And he is boasting to Suddas, how he is giving them all that plus extra 1000 acres in our prime sea front land adjacent to the harbour.

Tell me Machan about even , one single job your buddies Ranil and Bodhi Sira have done for the benefit of our Dalits who are 70 of the inhabitant population.

I didn’t even count your dalits because I want to be politically correct.

But then you may say Batalanda Ranil has done a lot for the Vellaslas like giving Passports to ex LTTEers and letting their cash to be converted in to Yahapalana bonds through the Vellala Singaporean, who doesn’t give a shit about you and the rest of the Yahapalana suckers.

Because he knows that your buddy Batalanda Ranil backs him to the hilt.

Although the Son in Law has become the richest Bond Dealer in South Asia if not the whole of S East Asia.

//Batalanda Ranil couldn’t get a 2/3 rd majority even with his mate Bodhi Sira on display in the chamber. //

This comes from a group that came up with some conspiracy theories for the technology failure in the chamber and the subsequent postponement of the vote.

Ravi K needed a simple majority, he got it. Actually he got nearly 3/4 majority. Disjoint Opposite needed a simple majority, but they got only 1/4.

Would you please those who think KASmalal has any credibility raise their right hand?

How can the President and Prime Minister continue to have the Three Ministers, who voted against another Cabinet Minister, voicing that they have no confidence in him, in the Cabinet?

    • 1
      0

That fact that it was allowed to happen shows some resemblance of democracy and one’s right to voice one’s opinion. Knowing all well that they would be beaten, they still supported the motion. But, I agree that the Cabinet should vote like a block.

  • 10
    2

The three ministers who voted FOR the motion of No Confidence against the Finance Minister should be relieved of their portfolios.
This happens in democracies having the British style of governance.

Any minister who does not have confidence in the Finance Minister of the government of which he is a member, honourably resigns.
If he does not resign, he is sacked.
    Will this happen.

I hope this will be done in the next cabinet shuffle. Anyway the three can be thankful that there are no more white van operations.

Rajapakse abstaining from voting can mean only two things:

    1. There is some kind of deal between him and the government.
    2. Proves that he does not put his money where his mouth is. He is a bloody coward like his brother Gota who left the army because he didn’t want to be on the frontline fighting the war.

I am shocked that MR avoided this crucial vote and letting down his so called “Joint Opposition” who moved the motion in parliament.

No he left the JO losers hanging and went to Japan.
