Why consider US & Zionist state as two countries?

The Rajapakses are doing well in the two-timing game. While they
say they are special friends of the Palestians; holding high office
in the Lanka-Palestianian Friendship Society and so forth, other Rajapakse Brothers visit Israel and probably give them the same assurances too. Still others visit Israel surreptitiously signing new contracts and buying arms.
I have been wishing both sides well for a long time and was pained at the recent Israel-Hamas skirmish. They are proceeding far in the Two Nations in One Country Formulae too – something Sri Lanka must think seriously about in our own solution for peace and reconciliation.
