President Sirisena Reluctant To Appoint Sarath Fonseka As Law And Order Minister

Contrary to the shrill assertion during the run up to the local government elections that he would crack down on the corrupt President Maithripala Sirisena appears to have the proverbial sword sheathed having resolved to resume the unity arrangement with the United National Party (UNP).

Fonseka

The barbs hurled at the UNP without actually naming that party have been retired with Sirisena approving the minimal cabinet changes recommended by Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.

The only bone of contention remaining has been the ‘Law and Order’ portfolio recently taken on by Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe but promised to be offered to Sarath Fonseka shortly.

It is reported that Wickremesinghe has promised the portfolio to Fonseka but had told him that top level Police officers opposed to the move had made representations to the President. President Sirisena has not committed himself, telling Wickremesinghe that he has to think about it (kalpanama karala balamu).

A high ranking source has apparently told the Sunday Times that Sirisena will not accede to the Prime Minister’s request, claiming that ‘he (Sirisena) had made up his mind.’

The official reprimand issued in 1973 by General Sinha Ranatunga, who was Sarath Fonseka’s Commanding Officer states plainly “Conduct unbecoming of an officer.” The document is all over the internet and can be found with a simple Google search. It was intentionally released by the previous regime when SF fell out of favour. Based on first hand knowledge from someone who was present, it involves a domestic servant and rape. While everyone is without some sin, can this yakko be in charge of law enforcement ?

Angelo: gen Ranatunga was one of the two past generals who backed Sarath Fonseka during election for presidency. The other was another respected figure Gen Hamilton Wanasinghe.

Maithreepala Sirisena is a gate keeper to the GOVIGAMA MAFIA ORGANISED CRIME Syndicate’s “Sinhala Only” agenda. He will do everything to stop the Law and Order being implemented as ALL THE LAW BREAKERS are working for the Govi Masters who want Rajapaksa rule back in the scene. Just look at the Anti Muslim campaign being waged before the eyes of the entire population to propagate “Enemy waiting to kill” false premise in the minds of the Sinhalas to achieve their long standing, unfulfilled Large Scale Pogrom against the Muslims. Israel must have given the contract to the JHU Champika to get this achieved long time back when they formed SIHALA URUMAYA. This is a project that OPUS DEI, the mercenary arm of the Jesuit’s Vatican, contracted to be completed by now. Remember, Mahinda going to Vatican and Pope coming to Sri-lanka? Bishop Javier Echevarría, the leader of the Opus Dei Cult visiting Sri-lanka? The one that goes about forming alliance with ruling Elites with secret Jewish origins (Crypto Jews) who are spread out all over the world, to cause conflicts to bring about The New World Order. Govi Ruling Elite is Jewish blooded, corrupt, barbaric, inhumans.

“The official reprimand issued in 1973 by General Sinha Ranatunga, who was Sarath Fonseka’s Commanding Officer states plainly “Conduct unbecoming of an officer.””
Did you or Sinha Ranthunge (is this Ranathunge bloke related to Prasanna, Arjuna Ranathunge family?) held the torch while SF was raping the servant ?. Was he convicted for that by courts? If you got something against SF, keep it to yourself. We are talking on behalf of millions of people in the country. MY3 is scared of appointing SF because he and his family are no different to Jarapaksas when it comes to Fraud and Looting pubic resources.

Fonseka will be a national disaster. Whoever held the torch while Fonseka was raping would have been named by the prosecution at the court martial. You say you are talking on behalf of millions – who approve rape.? Fonseka should be locked up and the key thrown into the sea. Jail is the only place for the bugger.

I think Prez and PM will have to appoint SF for the position:

Even Civil society groups will put the pressure on them in the days to come.
If this would not have been the case, the split of the current govt will be a reality within few days.

He was heavily involved in search and destroy operations between 1987 and 1990 by being a member of 6 men team. Gota too was in the team. If I remember correctly Janaka Perera was the brigadier commanding the rogues. Janaka Perera was earlier involved in 1971 .

Next time around the London returned Brigadier may be given charge of another shoot to kill team if JVP dare to violently challenge the status quo. Or may be JVP/LTTE jointly could destabilize the state if the crooks try to maintain the status quo.

      President Sirisena,

RE: President Sirisena Reluctant To Appoint Sarath Fonseka As Law And Order Minister

62 Lakhs voted for youto clean up.. Now you are reaming up with crooks? Why?

Are you a Sevalaya and a Perethaya? Why?

From the Bulath Vines, Vettila Vines and the Grape Vines:

UNP to re-nominate SF for Law and Order

The United National Party (UNP) has reportedly decided to re-nominate Regional Development Minister Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka as Law and Order Minister, it is learnt.

When the UNP nominated him to the post the first time it was turned down by President Maithripala Sirisena. Thereafter, the UNP sought to assign the subject to another member of the party but no one was ready to accept it.

Against this backdrop, the party had taken a decision to re-submit his name to the President. Already, SLFP ministers had been against appointing Mr. Fonseka to this post a sentiment shared by many senior police officers.

RE: President Sirisena Reluctant To Appoint Sarath Fonseka As Law And Order Minister

It is President Maithripala Sirisena now begging on a 4 % but has never stopped his bragging who loudly and proudly declared prior to the last local government elections that he would send all the crooks and culprits to hell after the 10 th of February , has once again refused to entrust the ministry of law and order to Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka.

Ranil Wickremesinghe P.M. has addressed five letters to the president requesting to allocate the ministry of law and order to Fonseka while specially mentioning it is ‘the expectation of my party , mine and the people that Fonseka is given that portfolio.’ The P.M. has even made two requests to the president when he personally met him. Yet the president has not responded in that favor , based on reports reaching Bulath Vines, Vettila Vines and Grape Vines.

Meanwhile Susil Premajayantha the minister who is there out of mercy and not on merits addressing a media briefing said , if Fonseka is to be given the law and order ministry the SLFP would sit in the opposition. It is very evident from his announcement, what amount of fear he and his brigand are harboring at the mere suggestion of Fonseka’s name , and who the crooks are .

Maithri , S.B., and Dudley Sirisena had phoned Basil Rajapaksa , but the latter snubs them – has not answered !

All these because they want to hinder him becoming law and order ministers

You know then you will learn it within few months.

I believe, he should be appointed then all these men would go dissapear like a tsuami stroked the country.

  • 49
    3

At least the Prime Minister has backed the Fonseka appointment. That should largely absolve him of the myriad of accusations aiméd at him by a lot of mindless people.

As for Sirisena, he will be remembered as probably someone whose actions failed to match his talk. Someone who failed to deliver at
crunch time. Such are the characteristics of men placed far too above their rightful station. To be honest its not his fault.

The hallmark of a great leader is his ability to make unpopular decisions for the greater good of the country at crucial times. This is the province of “big” men. If you arent big enough to make tough decisions beyond political expediency, then you can never qualify to be termed as “great”.

MS has also to be frightened for the simple reason that SF will steam ahead with his work
particularly within the ex-regime family members much more seriously than all others.
This act will direct all MS and his family involved in various short-comings being high-lighted in the media more unbalanced as counter-points. As MS is a timid Leader who is

Rumors of pregnant terrorists, and others stories that circulated, should make everyone be very cautious about making him in charge of Law and Order. The Plan: Further to my previous suggestion of making Mahinda the LO Minister, here is the rest of the Plan. This is highly Confidential and only for your eyes and ears and I will say this only once.

Once Mahinda becomes LO Minister, he will simply wipe out all his enemies. Statistically, this will include the drug dealers, underworld figures etc. who are now being protected by Yahapalana leaders. The operation is expected to be completed in 8 months.

Now comes the interesting part. Mahinda will be reassigned to another Ministry and SF will take over as the LO Minister. Do I have to elaborate what will happen then? I don’t think so. This way, by the 2020 election time, the country will be clean and smooth like the bottom of a new born baby.

I know what your question is going to be. Wouldn’t the first job of Mahinda be to eliminate SF in the first stage. Well, that will be taken care of. SF will be assigned as the Ambassador to some Western country and he will be safe.

Only one thing remains now. What will happen to Mahinda when SF takes over? That is left to Karma and Buddha has advised us in Acinta Sutta not to try to work out how Kamma works and categorizes it as one of the 4 great imponderables. So as Putujjana let us not even consider what happens to Mahinda – poor guy.

That will be the nemesis of current President.

Mahinda will more fit to be the hang man.

Anyways, Mr Sirisena will not succeed in next days. He will not be able to put the blame only on RW.
None of these men have been upto what the promised to.
That has now become a festated wound.
If not now, when would Mr President finally work on the promises ?

Is that is the case, I have a Plan B. It will be published at the right time. If that too fails, I have a Plan C.

So the case investigated against SF became one in which he spent 3 years imprisonment.

But to date, even if Thadjudeen and other men have evidently been killed out by Rajapakshe men, not even a single day any of that cruel family was jailed.

This is very unfair. Why on earth these rulers dont take any action speeding up the process for which they have been elected to.

Why cant Govt hold an Referendum as to whether Sarath F to be given Ministry of Law and order ? Then if supported by majority public , Sirisena cant deny ..

Law and Order: The first duty of a government is to maintain law and order so that the life, property, and religious beliefs of its subjects are fully protected by the State. (Muhammad Ali Jinnah)

Therefore, the maintenance of Law and Order of any country should be put under the care of a person of known capability in the field. The President is delaying this for some unknown reason. If he is not happy with A then he should appoint B or C or any other for that. But appointing someone is a must.

We all know that Law and Order of the country is deteriorating day by day. Every day of delay means that some lives are lost, some property destroyed, and the future of the country threatened. The lack of law and order is like a vicious beast, growing in size exponentially. With every day of delay, it grows more and the more difficult it becomes to arrest its growth and finally destroy it. Those who delay the actions required would be responsible for the loss of lives of the public as well as the security forces who are in the front lines. As a Buddhist, he knows very well that by shirking this duty, he is aiding and abetting murder and robbery and collecting bad Kamma. He should remember for his own sake that it is not going to be Ahosi Kamma.

Everyone is shit scared of the elephant in the room., and the elephant is not RW.
The sooner this bunch of shit rogues are booted off the better for the country.

Time is ripe, UNP should bring a no confidence motion against the President just before a no confidence motion against Ranil is presented in the Parliament. Alternatively if UNP is sure that a no confidence motion against Ranil can be defeated, then immediately UNP should establish a government of its own and kick SLFP out of the Parliament. President Sirisena has done so much of damage just to cover up him becoming the third force in Sri Lanka by asking Ranil to resign. We do not need such a weak knee shaking President.

Angelo Perera says SF was reprimanded by then his Commanding Officer as a person with conduct unbecoming of an officer was proved wrong with his appointment as the First Field Marshal by the present President and announcing him as the Best Army General by former President Rajapaksa. The incident Angelo is trying to highlight is a frank the Officer Cadets played on their unit Commander in Diyatalawa gone bit out of line. After that incident SF and the other Officer cadets has proved that they were good Officer materials. SF is the best person for the job. If Senior Police Officers are complaining about SF what will happened all other Public Servants also complain about other Ministers. Some of these Senior Police Officer May have committed various crimes when they were Juniors when comparing the number of DIG in custody now. President Sirisena you must learn to trust people for your safety.

If President is not in favour with SF, as we understand, reason could be his immediate family and siblings too may have to face the Law together with the culprits of last regime. This may be the cause of his fear psychosis. We never know his pseudo supporters with serious allegations of corruption are holding him to ransom. If he wants to come clean he should not play in to the hands of these traitors. If PM too has no hand in these deals or frauds he could fearlessly exercise his powers being in charge of Law and order , there is no need for SF or any other. So PM what are you waiting for? Well if both leaders are having doubts about their own honesty and integrity you will have to dance according to their tunes turning your backs to the poor unsuspecting voters who put you in power. You either seize this opportunity or you can jettison your honour and principles. This opportunity could well be a blessing in disguise.

When other portfolios are given to any ministers, have we heard the high ranking officers in the Dept. or ministry protesting or for that matter, is that considered before giving the portfolio to any person? So, why lame excuse is given only when it comes to this particular Ministry and this particular person? It is nothing but the contract the SLFP wing of the Yahapalana partners do in disguise, to safeguard their ‘one-time masters’.
MS is under severe pressure from both side and he has to prove his integrity.

We as nations are not familiar with Military rule since last 70 years 1948?
We are not that Islam country like Indonesian or Malaysia who religion been massacre millions of own people by their army men’s?
We do not want notorious military man to in charge in civilian organization of police services in Island.
We are for national interest of Democracy of People’s Sovereignty of an Island .
We are overwhlemlly an opposed Sarath Fonseka an appointment as Minister in -charge of Law and order protofilia.

    Comment of Vishvaijth …on …
An appoiamnet for Minister of Law and Order of the Sarath Fonseka in politically motivated act by UNP leadership of Ranil Wicks and grand plan that behind of that by foreign -power….USA, UK and Indians.
It is target at shatter of democracy and sovereignty of Sri Lankan by new political projects which is extended of 2015 January 9th the forces of that a “Counter -revolution… of Rainbow” !.
1 The aim of proposed appoiamnet of SF game plan of UNP, that is how to they deal in poison for the people all over the Island. and internationally.

2 The result local council election 2018 11 February majority voters of people all been exhausted by economic uncertainties and political crisis has reached the impending catastrophe into our door-step!

3 What is now necessary in Sri lanakn not that change of Minister of Law given to “Military man” of SF not to that a invent new reform ,not to make plan for simple changes? Key ills our society are not that?
This is how the ongoing situation is depicted -deliberately in false light – by UNP misrule of whole system of democracy governances the joint hand of MS , CBK and as well as TNA and JVP who shout against introducing “good governances” and “rule of law” and against MR corruptions in large scale.

4 The current situation in Sri lanka unprecedented burden and hardship to majority of People that a national catastrophe.

5 The unparalleled the real danger of Economic dislocation and rural poor are having famine for the farms who wanted a way out. The democratic advancing reforms and basic changes are absolutely necessary in Sri lanka that what 2018 February 11 has revealed by the Will of voters.

6 Only solution is dissolved Parliament and give an opportunity for fresh mandate for citizens.
The crux of matter is not that change of Minister law and order of country.!@ to give new mandate to change set of policies were failure in last 38 months by UNP misrule of whole country.

7 Since 2015 January 9th the contradiction which exist so far and ruling parties alliance led by UNP the complete instability and inconsistence of political power of UNP and SLFP and their opposition political partnership of TNA and JVP.
