carefully worded speech by Prince Charles.He did not mention or congratulate Mahinda for ending the civil war. Instead he says country has recovered from the tsunami…when last visited.
Whereas Mahinda is still harping about the war and how the country is free …he has safeguarded the human right….the right to life in Sri Lanka.
Not democracy, not freedom of speech, not justice , but you are happy to be alive mate in this country!

Prince Charles indirectly hinted about the necessity of cherishing civil liberties. Perhaps MR would not have been aware of the 1688 Glorious Revolution and the developments thereafter in Britain.
