Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe is awaiting the arrival of President Maithripala Sirisena from Japan to discuss and decide the future course of action against Chief Minister of the Eastern Province, Nazeer Ahamed, over his recent conduct where he verbally abused Navy Officer, Captain Ranjith Premaratne at a school function in Sampur.
Wickremesinghe has also called on the Commanders of the three forces to carry out a thorough investigation to ascertain if the incident was preplanned in an effort to embarrass Sirisena who is taking part in the G7 summit in Japan.
Meanwhile, Ahamed is also coming under increased pressure from various quarters to issue an apology to Premaratne for abusing him and telling him ‘get out, you idiot,’ at a function held at the Sampur Maha Vidyalaya, which was attended by school children, the Governor of the Eastern Province, Austin Fernando and the US Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Atul Keshap. The Joint Opposition has also called on
Ahamed to tender an apology to the Navy Officer.
However, despite the severity of the incident, the Sri Lanka Muslim Congress (SLMC) of which Ahamed is a member, has still not decided if to take action against the Chief Minister over his conduct.

Ahamed Nazeer, please most kindly try to understand that the issue here is NOT how the Naval Officer used his arm to set you aside, as it is claimed, for the students to get on to the stage, but THE MANNER IN WHICH THE CM BEHAVED ON THE STAGE POINTING YOUR FINGER AND TALKING IN A THREATENING MANNER AND THE LANGUAGE YOU USED ON THE NAVAL OFFICER IN QUESTION AND YOUR STATEMENTS OF INTERACTION AGAINST THE GOVERNOR OF THE EPC WHO WAS ON THE STAGE AS THE CHIEF GUEST, especially in the presence of a foreign diplomat, the US Ambassador to Sri Lanka. The CM being someone I know very well and have also interacted with him politically and a Muslim myself, I do NOT WISH the CM should use lame excuses to run away from what the public, including myself are accusing the CM of – “uncalled for, behaviour of a CM of the EPC.” You may be an arrogant CM of the district who may have a “POLITICAL CLOUT” with the Yahapalana government, but in fairness to the humble and disciplined Naval Officer, justice and or punishment has to be meted out to who ever is at fault. Just put your self in the position of the Naval Officer and try to understand his feelings regarding the arrogant manner the CM scolded this officer, that too on the stage during a public event, when he returned home to his family, or the feeling and pain of mind the family would have felt/undergone looking at the TV broadcast of the incidents in the evening news, channels, the father, husband been humiliated for doing his job good. The Naval officer was humble enough to stand there like “a lamb before a howling fox”, but hat’s off to his “discipline” he has won the “sympathy” of the Navy, his colleagues, the Triforces and the country at large (Muslims, Sinhalese and Tamils). If the CM wish to support his allegation against this Naval Officer’s behaviour as stated in your statement – “Quote” When I came up on stage, a naval officer who was acting as the ‘master of ceremonies’, physically obstructed me from proceeding to take my place on the stage. “Unquote”, then CM should support it with journalistic TV news filming or photographic evident taken at that event on that day to the President and to YOU SIR, to prove the CM’s innocence. Please do not allow the CM to use “Legal jargon” as it seems has been advised by some legal associate of of the CM which is not the solution to run away from the issue.

Sack the Muslim chief minister and install a Tamil chief minister as Tamils are the rightful owners of eastern province. It is a historical fact that muslims fleeing persecution by Portuguese were settled in eastern province by King senerath 500 years ago and 90% of Sinhalese had been settled in eastern province less than 100 years ago. When Sinhalese in Kandyan areas objected to the Indian Tamils being elected to represent them, there was no hesitation to disenfranchise Indian Tamils to hand over power to Kandyans and subsequently deport half of the Indian Tamils. At the last provincial council election, it was TNA which secured the largest number of seats, and despite this and there was a willingness by fair minded Sinhalese and Muslims to support TNA to form the government, TNA was denied it by the racist Mahinda regime. This is a divine retribution that has occured to both Sinhalese (Naval officer) and Muslims (chief minister) being openly insulted in the presence of US Ambassador. If justice is not done to Tamils in eastern province by restoring their majority status which has been taken away from them by both settlement of Sinhalese by the government in large numbers and the ethnic cleansing carried out out by both Sinhalese and Muslims, expect more divine intervention.

Tamilised decendants of veddhas living along the coast from Mutur to Kumana are the rightful owners of the eastern province. Chance dicoveries of archeological inscriptions go to prove that Tamils lived in eastern province for over 2000 years ago. In Vaharai the seat of Veddha rule was recently discovered. Stone inscriptions have been discovered in Mahiladitivu & Kathiraveli in Batticaloa and Weber Stadium premises in Trincomalee. Koneswaram temple in Trincomalee and stone onscriptions found earlier in Kantalai show the presence of Tamil rule in the area. Trincomalee area north of Mahaweli was part of Jaffne Kingdom at the time of Portuguese conquest and that is why Portuguese were able to destroy temples. Area south of Mahaveli was in the Kandyan Kingdom and that is why Portuugese traveller who landed in Trincomalee was arrested by Kandyan guards only when he crossed Mahaveli into Mutur. There is no evidence of Sinhala presence supported by ancient inscriptions and there is nothing recorded in history that Sinhalese left these areas by force in the distant past. For all intents and purposes eastern province is a Tamil province, any measures taken to deny this to Tamils will be gross injustice. As I have pointed out before, remove Amparai electorate and Lahugala AGA division of Amparai district and link it to Uva province and remove Gomarankadawela AGA division from Trincomalee district and link it to North central province, and reconstitue a new eastern province with a Tamil majority. All census taken from 1981 till independance show that Eastern province had a Tamil majority. It is the intellectual dishonesty of the Sinhala racist dominated Archaeological department that is preventing the unearthing of further evidence to prove Tamil ownership.

Its sad to see how Rajapakse clan is able to twist any incident, how minor it is into a big national calamity! This incident should not have happened, there is no doubt about it. But there is always two sides to it. What was a Navy Officer doing in a civilian school event? Second how can a dispute between two individuals become a national calamity? Rajapakse clan is trying its best to avoid arrest for all their wrong doings so they keep on stirring minor incidents into major issues. This appears to be a pre-planned coupe.
The President and the Prime Minister should conduct a full inquiry, an impartial inquiry and come to a decision. Just because a Naval Officer is involved, who is branded as a war hero (not sure if he took part in the war or not), it does not mean that the Naval Officer is correct. Only an impartial inquiry will bring out the truth. President as the head of armed forces should order Navy persons to keep their mouth shut until the investigation is over. There is no assurance that an armed forces member, just because the armed forces won the war, can be free of any wrong doing.

It is very admirable that Hon. Prime Minister to consult the President and delve deeper into this ugly incident. In my view, a strong leader with a backbone would do the following.
1. Chief Minister Nazeet Ahamed – FIRED. There after, the entire politburo of the Muslim Congress sternly warned that if any party member acting in such ungracious manner will cause the entire SLMC to be evicted from the Maithri-Ranil coalition.
2. Governor Austin Fernando – FIRED for his incompetence and disbarred in carrying out any activity in the Northern or Eastern province.
3. The Navy and all other forces banned from engaging in Civilian activity unless required in emergency matters as directed by the President, PM or the Ministry of Defense.
4. US Embassador Atul Kishap – Issued with a unconditional apology
5. Imprison trouble creators and communal minded hawks such as MP Mahinda Rajapaksha or any of his band of thieves from capitalizing on such activities. Incarcerate the pigs for endangering this governments efforts towards reconciliation and ethnic harmony.
6. Urgently request help and intervention from the Japanese PM Abe (our ever gracious friends) to inculcate Mahayana Buddhist discipline because this Theravada bull is certainly not working for us. At the same time, get these uncouth Eastern province Muslim politicians indoctrinated in conflict resolution and anger management because this Salafist/Wahabist bull is certainly not working for them. Nor are they learning from the great teachings of the Holy Qoran or the teachings from the sunnah.
Follow the above, and this country will be a better place for everyone.

The Government is making every effort of keeping the jobs out of North-East People. That is why the foreign aids are channeled through the defense. We saw that in 65,000 homes of Swamynathan. It is widely talked in the Racist Rishard reopening the closed Government factories in the North. Using Rishard, Swamynathan…. like the anti-Tamils is not a hide-able secret on the government side. Now Hakeem and Ahamed Nazeer sees Atul Keshap as the Ambassador. They want to cash on that. Those who did everything possible to undermine 13A want to have their authority confirmed in front of Atul Keshap. To achieve this, they rammed into a meeting they were not invited, but Ambassador Atul Keshap was there.
Kaheem and Ahamed Nazeer pretend like they were never aware the school was being renovated by Navy. They never lodged a complaint to release that project to local government. They even completely ignored Sampur Madya Maha Vidyalaya’s desperate conditions. They never talked to Colombo about Sampur being occupied by Navy. They never protested on the coal burning plant until New King changed his mind to make it as Natural Gas plant. They were waiting, like Rishard games in North, to milk all possible employments out of the coal plant. After doing all these, now Ahamed Nazeer took a Tamil Minister with him to his games at the school in front of developing tender minds. It is long overdue that Ahamed Nazeer, if Hakeem plays games, follows the example of NPC CM, CV’s example on agitating the withdrawal of the Navy and Army from the province just like they are in the Southern provinces. But when he noticed the American Ambassador Atul Keshap was there, he planned to use him to have his authority, which they have marginalized by marginalizing the 13A, confirmed in Colombo. The snake Hakeem’s game of occupying the termite hill without building one has not gone well, so far, this time.

Why is Batalanda Ranil saying that this pre-planned? By whom? American embassy like his return to power. If this was pre-planned at the time Sirisena is at the G7 being presented like a trophy and looking pointless, is to discredit the defence forces, and likely it is by Ranil himself.
Ranil has already diminished the defence forces and elevated the police. And why would the Yahapalanayas allow the navy to conduct and organise this function? Unless they had pre-planned to use this incident to remove the navy commander! Think Lankans with that God /karma given brain!!!
