Reveal The Secrets: Anura Kumara Tells Sirisena

Leader of the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP), Anura Kumara Dissanayake has demanded President Maithripala Sirisena to reveal the secrets he claim to know of certain politicians.

At an event held in Tangalle on Saturday, Dissanayake said that the people had the right to know what these secrets are.

“Whether they form a party or not, it is the responsibility of President Sirisena to reveal these secrets to the people,” he said.

According to Dissanayake, although Sirisena didn’t openly mention former President Mahinda Rajapaksa’s name in his threat, it’s obvious that he was talking about Rajapaksa. “These are not personal secrets that Sirisena threatened to reveal, these are secrets that the public must know about,” he said.

He added that Sirisena must go beyond his threat and reveal these secrets. “These secrets he is harboring is connected to the wrongdoings committed by the former leader. We are demanding that President Sirisena reveal these secrets. The public has a right to know,” he added.

To begin with here is one MS “revealed” and easily forgot what he should do – deny?
“……After this discussion concluded , the UNP deputy minister Ranjan Ramanayake arrived to meet the president personally. When the discussion centered on what the president related to the party leaders, Ranjan inquired , ‘how is that you spoke with such certainty that Mahinda Rajapakse will murder you?’ The president’s answer was :during the by -election at Mulkirigala , Mahinda carrying a gun himself shot and killed .At that moment two individuals were dead , and I was some distance away. Hence I know how he murdered , and that is why I am saying this.’
Ranjan in a state of shock asked , how did he then escape ? The witnesses were threatened that they will also be killed . It is John Amaratunge of your party who saved him then. By giving contradictory evidence that the victim was killed by shooting from a top of a tree , the case was discharged, the president told Ranjan. Mahinda after winning the case at that time even contemplated joining the UNP. Even today John and Mahinda are good friends,’ president said disclosing an old secret. When Ranjan inquired whether or not to reveal this story to the media , the president has replied , ‘this story was related by me to you to be conveyed to the media’.Ranjan when relating this episode to Lanka e news said, the president pointed out , he cannot forget that the members of the SLFP who voted for Mahinda Rajapakse on 8 th January voted to bury him and his family six feet underground. Hence, the president advised Ranjan to unrelentingly announce all the time that he is a UNP president ….” After all
MR concluded a war with zero casulties – what better secrets?

      Well said AK!

The CULTURE OF IMPUNITY FOR FINANCIAL CRIMES by politicians needs to end.

Impunity for Financial Crimes and War Crimes by politicians of the SLFP and UNP needs to be ended in the Miracle of Modayas!

JVP is playing very positive role today and exposing the rotten culture of corruption in the 2 dominant political parties -UNP and SLFP.

Ranil-Sira A-yahapalanaya govt. of clowns who do not know the meaning of the word “development” is all about cover up and impunity for the members of the Diyawenna Parliament, the majority of which consists of uneducated criminals and clowns.

Menawhile Ranil keeps prating about how the Parliament of clowns is supreme and cannot be held accountable by the judiciary, in order to continue the culture of IMPUNITY and IMMUNITY for Financial Crimes.

JVP has become a spineless quack quack group.

Very same politics and mindless way forward.

The are not fit for anything except for flirting and screaming.

Wimal modawanse is the product of the JVP and proved his capacity when he broke away to cohabit with Mahinda.

JVP is waste of time and only will put the clock back for Sri Lanka.

Tell me except few graduates with few years of paliamentary politics.. whhat the party JVP can bring to be that powerful

        a) Rhetorics of the kind can also be done by CIVIL SOCIETY GROUPS

        b) No senior men that people could keep the faith on … their future behavours, if they would be given a chance

        c) Somansas or the like are no more…… the party is relatively young…. and have no capable leaders around…

AKDs is making his points as young UNPers would do – is he powerful enough to even get on with other leaders ? NO Never…
but i can think the party men can achieve it in 3 or 4 decades.

Whatever the stance JVP bears – the pulse of PEOPLE are being controlled by UNP and SLFP – the grand parties similar to that of Germany s CDU and SPD. JVPers being young to lanken hearts – they will take many more years in convincing their politics to the nation. Besides, they have no such senior wise leaders in the party.

AKD is a fine-b ut most comes out of his mouth end up with rhetorics – no means possible to reach in lanken realistic world. If we the academics in general feel that the polics being played in the war torn nation that easy, there we should be miles away from the knowing the real nature of lanken politics. Mr Sirisena then Mr RW, both have collected years long lanken type of politics. They should have their own reasons not to have reveals all the hidden bits in terms of previous regime.
Duo should have all the reasons former leader and his men to allow foreign trips. THE WORLD IS WATCHING ON ANY KIND OF DEVELOPEMENT. The kind of politics of controversal nature being practised by MR et al since they have been politically defeated – are under scrutiny by UNHRC and other bodies. BASTA

I have a good advice to AKD

Please try to achieve more experience. Dont become to the level OF Thunmulle Wimale.

Veteran lanken type politicians should have enough exp to keep those secrets away from the gulliable masses.

Lanken voters are unique to srilanka – not to any other part of the world. even if some politcians would have raped lovely ones, they would continue voting Rajakashes.

Remember the Saga which was telecasted immediately after former leader returned to Hambantota on the 09 th January 2015 ?

Those folks would continue eating PUNNAKKU OF Rajapakshes production many more months…. believe me this is the saddest reality of this nations

Minority thoughts bearers will have to suffer…. we have suffered even in the past.. but ina democracy (so called) we dont hve any other choice.

People holding high offices can’t keep secrets. This is of national interest. Whether its going to divide the party or not Misappropriation, blunder at any levels of public life should never be kept secret.
MR also on several occasion said that it was his mistake that he kept a blind eye or let go people Scott free. For this also he should be punished and statements from him should be made. So that real culprits can be brought to justice.

MY3 said he has information on the assassination of Disa. He never revealed that information. He said he knows the politicians in the government involved in drug business, ethanol business but does not want to make them public because that probably might lead to downfall of the government. Now he says he is going to tell the secrets that he knows if a new political party is formed. Did the voters in Sri Lanka elect him to bring Yahapalanaya or to protect murderers and crooks?

RE: Reveal The Secrets: Anura Kumara Tells Sirisena

Yes, yes and yes. Leader of the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP), Anura Kumara Dissanayake and the people of Sri Lanka wants you to reveal. Mahinda Rajapaksa also talked about files.

We are awaiting eagerly for your disclosure.

You may be sitting on the site of JVP.
But this reminds me – the prove verb Raban kukulanta thiyena joliya..

We perfectly know if the kind of secrets would not keep away from all, it will not be easy SLFP to stay together. Believe or not, like or not, this nation is fooled by MR regime for their political future – so long the grass eating people will respect Rajakaspkehs, they can grab their votes.

And the fact that the very same grass eaters would not easily turn their margin ” kapuwath maruwath nil ” percetpion – willl take years to see it right also should be considered in this moment.

Mr Sirisena is caught by the most fiecest devil -if he would help SLFP to be split forever, the party will not exist as a grand party in the same time, if scheduled amds to be passed, they also have the mandate which is the main focus of the consensula govt.

Sam Fdo – Why call Sri lankans who voted for MR ‘grass eating people’, you may be domiciled elsewhere in the world, sometimes. Look at it this way, the country was fighting a civil war for over 30 years and it ended during the regime of MR, you may have been an onlooker sometimes, to that chaotic period we spent here, but we have been direct participants. Those who lived here throughout, saw the sufferings, loss of lives, blood baths, all this at first hand and when it ended too, one cannot say what a great relief it was to all here, this is the main reason why MR got over 57 lakhs of votes even 6 years after the bloody war, at the last prez election. It was under his leadership it happened and the freedom it brought to the people here was immense and it’s a fact tat cannot be forgotten at whatever cost and the people who suffered, lost lives, livelihoods, their loved ones are all included in that 57 lakhs!
And there are comments to say here that whatever the JVP says, still people vote for UNP or SLFP, it’s true, that generation of people who suffered in the hands of JVP during 1987-89 would never vote for them, however much they say they are honest and genuine. These are the stubborn facts and you need to analyse the political culture here by looking at the big picture.
And even if you are not living here in Sri lanka, still if you have a true feel for this country, would be so good if you’d not brand your fellow citizens as a ‘grass eating’ lot. My personal view is that this is why we are still way behind India, leave aside MR, MS or RW and petty politics aside, it’s our own people who mainly add to bring down the prestige of this country and its people, and calling them ‘modayas’ and ‘harakas’ and what you do not seem to realise is that as a nation you are ‘looking up and spitting on your own face’ kind of thing. So please give a thought here and see that we carry on a constructive discussion on these forums, if you are still looking for Sri lanka, our motherland to do good.

Tani with all respect to you as a srilanken – I would like to add my thoughts here… why 62 lacks or more voted for a change was not because they did not know that MRs first term ended the civil war. It is solely because the abusive manner they the MR et al governed inthe post war scenario alone.

Majority of the people are no stupid as they appeared to be. Now they slowly realize as to why they were compelled to watch only about Rajakashes during the last few years.

            1

            Sam –
I’m glad you realize that ‘Majority of the people are no stupid as they appeared to be’. And you are right here, ‘now they slowly realize as to why they were compelled to watch only about Rajakashes during the last few years’. We all here know that MR was heading for a dictatorship and people were TOALLY denied the truth , the media was fearful as they were murdered in broad day light, white van abductions and fear psychosis instilled in the minds even among the general public too. Now the whole scenario is changed – RTI Bill (Right to Information) was passed in parliament a recently and now OMP (Office of Missing Persons) is to be set up soon here. We are so glad for this stance by the government as this will pave the way for Sri Lankans in all nine provinces, mainly those in the North and South, who still are uncertain if it is proper to light a candle in memory of their loved ones, without knowing if they are dead or alive and there are others who cannot do the needful with regard to their wealth or properties, how they should distribute among their children, as a son has gone missing in the family or a father’s whereabouts are not known. So these issues need to be redressed and I personally feel that suitable professionals in the field and intellectuals are appointed for these jobs here. There could be wrongs and misdeeds happening as in any other country in the world. But the refreshing factor is all that is now highlighted in the media, as there’s so much of freedom and I, as a general citizen here, sometimes wonder if this freedom is a bit too much. If you look at it closely, a politician cannot turn around here now, just one slip of the tongue, even the Prez is not spared and all are shouting at him ‘to reveal secrets’! So, my personal view is that the guys here are a wise lot and we all need to work together with one aspiration, that is to make this a better place for us. So let’s keep a track, yahapalana government has just begun to act, so let’s all give it a hand and do our bit and look at this country as one family, even if you guys are looking at it from far.

          Tani,

“”this country, would be so good if you’d not brand your fellow citizens as a ‘grass eating’ lot. My personal view is that this is why we are still way behind India,””

Who Is Be More Corrupt,?? BodhiSira or Mara?? Mara kept his word and held an election before time BodiSira renegaded 100 days blowing in the wind.

Who is Puddhu?? The citizen the voter- bath gullo pin padde nation. (i tell you what india is and you are nowhere baby near so don’t extend your bubble)

But this is all the inevitable result of a big government capable of enriching those who run it – those who seek office will look to use that power. And we’ll keep electing the most corrupt people to high office in the mistaken impression that it takes a corrupt person to dismantle a corrupt system. MR1 to MR2 and guarantee you will cast MR3 trying to cling onto sovereignty for a few backscratchers.

The tamil and muslim vote enabled BodhiSira (both tamil and muslim were hoodwinked by their leaders and Sobita) without even asking or mentioning by name.

In 2011, the country had over 68 million people who were graduates or more qualified. This is over 8% of 838 million people who were 15 years of age or older. A decade ago, this proportion was about 7%. Those with technical degrees (or equivalent) now number 12 million compared to about 5 million in 2001. However, this is a minuscule 1.4% of the total 15+ years population of India.
HOW MANY DO YOU HAVE?? The institutes funded by centre are equivalent to German and American standards plus the competition is higher than the west- So they shine at Europe and US.
Lanka std is old british trade union which the EU does not accept now- that is where you can’t defeat Indian at entrance to medicine or engineering- only the indian gifted seats, nominations (engg 6 medecine 3) get in and I have not heard of lankan gold medalist from there.

I know your attitude (i mean well) so will end this with
The Media barons do not hoodwink us but make life great for mafia art.
“I do not take it as a burden, it is you [the media] who put it on me,” Neymar said in an interview with SporTV.

The nation will shrink then it would be stretched as envisioned by the chinese.
Lanka is sub-contractor for indian IT back office work for UK and USA (eg MacKeef) IT is their strength and SA,Phillipines etc cannot take it away. Neighbour producing engineering gears and clutches Vietnam collaborates with China in producing as sub contractors.

            Jul 23, 2016,
‘Next decade will belong to Indian women’
MUMBAI: In about a decade, India will have the largest number of women in any country. If the number of women who join the workforce in India were to increase to the level of men, it is estimated that India’s GDP would grow by 27%. Providing these statistics and making a case for gender equality at a book launch event in Mumbai, Nita Ambani, founder and chairperson, Reliance Foundation, said, “We strongly believe this century is India’s century. The next decade will and must belong to Indian women.”

Aug 2, 2015,Rise in women graduates almost double that of men in a decade.
The level of women’s education in India witnessed a sharp rise between 2001 and 2011, with 116% more women passing out as graduates or above compared to a just 65% increase among men. There was also a spike in women completing post-graduation (151%) and those earning professional and technical degrees (196%), key findings of Census 2011, released on Friday, reveal.
The number of women with teachers’ training graduate degrees increased by 122% while the rise of those with degrees in nursing/medicine was a staggering 157%. However, this is expected because these disciplines are conventionally dominated by women, though the scale of increase is phenomenal.Overall, engineering and related technological degrees appear to be the most popular courses because the number of such graduates has jumped up by a massive 182% in a decade. This may, of course, lead to saturation of the market, experts feel, though the IT sector is still an attractive proposition.
There appears to be a preference among women to go for technical education as it is seen to help in getting jobs. This is evident from the fact that the number of women with technical diplomas (not degrees) stands at nearly 19 million, up 146% in a decade. Compare this to non-technical diploma which is held by just 0.34 million (3.4 lakh).

Please study the way why they behave here and other platforms, then only you will undrstand why Sam called them as grasseaters. No matter even if you have been abused by JO, they would go supporting them. Sam is very right calling them Punnakku or Grass eaters. That are a significant number that support those men… no matter the Rajapakshe family has abused billions of sums from tax payers funds, people seem to not even thinking of it. Let alone those masses should start getting it.

It is good to hear Anura Kumara Disanayake speak up. He is so quiet these days. MARA Mafia failed the people. Yahapalanaya has turned to Yamapalanaya. I am hoping for somebody to rise up and clean up the utter mess that Sri Lanka is today.

Bets are open – 1,000,000 to 1 that Maithri will NOT “reveal the secrets”, even though concealing criminal activities is an offense punishable in a court of law.

    Any takers???

This is another promise that is bound to be broken!

By hiding secrets about parliamentarians, MY3 belittle voters.

They know, Sri lankan voters are dumb.

President Sirisena promised during his presidential election campaign he will never select crooks to his party and so the truth is, he who violated discipline first by selecting known crooks to contest elections.

So it is the President My3 is responsible knowing their shady dealing and now blackmails them. So he let down the people. For him party and not the people who comes first and he lied to the people he will not select any crooks.

    So he should resign first.

Let the law of the land prevail – that must be the credo which everyone should follow from President downwards.

That is, if we are serious about setting up a mature, stable, resilient democracy. This is what we fervently believed is possible, under the Maithripala Sirisena – Ranil W watch.

This statement from the President therefore comes as a bomb out of the blue and has devalued his growing stature as a statesman.

Sri Lanka is not anyone’s private property to withhold information that is relevant to its good and stable governance.

In fact the day the country runs without direction from the President or the Prime Minister – that is the day we could justifiably say the country’s Institutions can manage the show all on its own.

Either Pres Sirisena is ‘kite flying’ or by not saying what these secrets are, is contributing to our Motherland culture of impunity.

Justice must flow from the top. If SL is to head towards a law abiding society, then President Sirisena must tell it all.

The crowds at the Matara Anniversary said it all. It is just a matter of time. The first sign of things gone wrong is Bodhi Sira’s behavior. His problem is Ranil has cornered Sira in such a way he has no future in the UNP or SLFP hence the Bali Netuma in front of live media. This is the first sign of irrationality it will grow. Anyone who things that UNP is the beneficiary please hang on to those dreams because for all what its worth the UPFA or the SLFP did not for Sira in.

    Even though My3/Ranil government improved in many ways, there are many similarities in My3’s behavior like MaRa;

Nepotism – Appointed his brother to SLT’s top job in two weeks.
Corruption – Increased the cabinet over the constitutional limit.
Nepotism – Took his stupid son to UN meeting.
Nepotism – Allowed his daughter in politics without holding any position in government or party.
Corruption – not taking actions on corrupted Ministers.
Corruption – Appointed Hambantota Pistol Mayor as SLFP Organizer.
Questionable – Went to Tirupati temple. Selling gold?
Aiding and abetting – Knowing secrets about politician without informing to the authorities.

Sirisena is talking the same foolish arrogant dumb way pathlogical liar Chandrika madam talked with her phony threats of “api langa file thiyanawa”against the UNP(1997) and Rajapakse who thought he was a Godking said the same to make threats and foolish Ponil who threatened journalists, when he ran his mouth off in Matara at the very poorly attended rally. He must’ve been disappointed that people didn’t come to see Ponil and him in tens of thousands. Even with CTB buses they failed to fill the ground. And kudu bus halt Dumi is ruining the UNP and wasting Billions to move to new buildings.

How does Sirisena of braapaalanaya get so much money to send his son and daughter to England to study?

    Poor chap!

Two people, The F word CID and Anura Kumara do not know what is going in Lankawe. What to do?

He likes to know what secret the New King meanings when he says he is going to tell it out if the Joint Comedies form a party. But I New King wouldn’t budge. May be Sampanthar can help him, I guess. Sampanthar seems to aware a little bit better than Anura Kumara of the Yahapalanaya’s maneuverings. He knows a special secret of Yahapalanaya’s that it is going to give Sampanthar a solution that nobody in Lankawe knows that, especially The Joint Comedies. One can guess Sampanthar may know what the New Kings this secret too.

I like to warn Anura Kumara one thing. If he fool around with New King too much he may start to swing his Thirukkaivaal! That will be really dangerous. So, pls, Watch out.

Anura Kumara is the one so far did not join any comedy club. But it looks like, from his this question, he could not resist that conclusion. Sorry Anura Kumara. Sorry Anura, There is no vacancy anywhere, specially in the Joint Comedy Club. Please you from your own by adding a list question like this, if you have elase to do!

Ravi, Galkatus man is seeking power. They only campaigned for the age of consent to be reduced to 16 so that they could get more indoctrinated support. The Gonwansa couple and their 4 passports are not to be trusted. They are all power hungry bastards like Ranil and Sira and the Rajapakses.

            HE HAS A POINT.!
JULY 2014 NOW 3 YEARS ON IT’S GOING TO BURST.
Rising joblessness among new university graduates in China and India is creating an army of educated unemployed that some fear could destabilise these huge economies.
HOW MANY GRADUATES DOES LANKA HAVE – ALL SUBSTD SECRET BECAUSE MOST POSTERS INCL OF PROFS HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE WHAT A UNIVERSITY IS.

Both India and China have experienced a higher education revolution in the past decade, with the number of young people completing university degrees rising from a few hundred thousand a year to many millions.
Dramatic expansion of university education should have provided new graduates with opportunities unheard of in their parents’ generation.
Instead, with an alarming rise in the number of unemployed and under-employed graduates, a large group of educated young people are becoming alienated, unable to become part of the growing middle class.
The numbers are staggering. In India one in three graduates up to the age of 29 is unemployed, according to a Labour Ministry report released last November. Total unemployment in the country is officially closer to 12%.
Universities and colleges turn out five million new graduates each year.
            ‘Idling’ graduates
In China this month a record 7.26 million will graduate from the country’s universities – more than seven times the number 15 years ago.
Unemployment among new graduates six months after leaving university is officially around 15%. Even that conservative estimate means over a million new Chinese graduates will be jobless.
The real unemployment rate could be closer to 30% – some 2.3 million unemployed from this year’s graduating cohort alone, according to Joseph Cheng, professor of political science at City University of Hong Kong.
“These are big numbers. You can easily imagine this could certainly be a very important source of unrest in China,” said Prof Cheng.
Those without degrees are more willing to take blue-collar jobs, with China’s non-graduate unemployment as low as 4%, says Yukon Huang, senior associate at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace in Washington DC.
He said China’s leadership has for some time been extremely worried that graduate unemployment could fuel unrest of the kind that prompted the Tiananmen crackdown on protesting students in 1989.
Because of its possible impact, the social and political implications of “idling” graduates are being studied by political scientists, economists and other social scientists.
China’s education ministry has already indicated that it wants to turn 600 universities into polytechnics, providing more technical and employment-related courses, rather than academic and theoretical subjects.

There is no need to “force out” secrets from the President. What is required is to give a “Free Hand” to the Law Enforcement Authorities including the Judiciary to carry on with their duties of investigations and bringing the culprits to book. If those “Hidden Hands” from the President downwards allow the free flow of investigations to be carried, no one needs to cry for Justice. Justice will come and those roaming around will be put into places where they legitimately should be.

  • 4

AKD is also hiding many things from people. AKD here is playing a game. JVP is not an honest party. They are also in the business of manipulating voters for their livlihood.

  • 4

Yes……….. First and foremost tell us about that big secret of AKD’s business class trip to Ireland and spending there (01) month holidaying.

How many women did you meet?
    Who sponsored the trip?
    Places where AKD visited?
    Names of hotels stayed?
    Who paid the bills?
    Whom did he meet?

Now these are the real issues……….
The secret President had to say was blurted by Ranjana Ramanayake.
That case MR was exonerated BUT Big John has a case to answer. How he helped. This is a serious issue. Take in Big John for questioning.

    Thats it? Southern jokes.
need to thank the JVP jokers for supporting the OMP bill.
