A cross section of Facebook female commentators made up mainly of mothers have unified in one voice and expressed their anguish and disgust, with reference to World Rugby Educator and St. Peter’s College coach Sanath Martis’ assault on one of his rugby student kids, which was caught on video camera recently.
The group of mothers’ one plea is that Coach Martis be punished for his actions and also be banned from coaching children in future.
A lady named Tina Edward Gunawardhana wrote “If it was my child that man will be wearing his gonads as ear rings”
The video clip containing this ugly incident soon went viral on social media and instantly had many commentators both in Sri Lanka and overseas expressing their displeasure regarding Coach Martis’ shocking assault.
Coach Sanath Martis who over the years was alleged to have massacred many of his rugby students in the name of discipline, was finally caught, red handed on tape, when the incident was recorded by a spectator who had come to witness the friendly rugby encounter played between St. Peter’s versus D.S. Senanayake at Havelock Park in January 2019.
Ross Mitchell the Consultant General Manager of Asian Rugby the Asian arm that comes under World Rugby confirmed that both Asian Rugby and World Rugby have officially communicated with the Sri Lanka Rugby Football Union regarding this incident.
Many are of the hope that the Sri Lanka Rugby Football Union (SLRFU) will investigate this matter thoroughly and submit their findings to Asian Rugby, so that appropriate disciplinary action could be taken by World Rugby against their appointed Educator and Trainer Sanath Martis.
However, over the years, the Sri Lanka Schools Rugby Football Association (SLSRFA) have always been at loggerheads with the Sri Lanka Rugby Football Union.
The SLSRFA when it suits them best go on to state that they are run independently, as they also report to the Ministry of Education.
It was only as recent as in 2014 when the SLSRFA in protest, blackened out the SLRFU logos off the Sri Lanka Under 20 players rugby jerseys during in the Rugby Asiad which was played at Race Course grounds in Colombo. The stance taken that day by officials of the SLSRFA was a direct insult to the SLRFU, indicating that they do come directly under the Ministry of Sport.
Meanwhile a prominent past pupil of S. Peter’s College speaking to Colombo Telegraph on condition of anonymity said that this incident had also been reported to the National Child Protection Authority.
“Even if the child or parent does not officially complain and if St. Peter’s College authorities also decide to brush this incident aside, the law of the country permits us to officially complain since it is with relevance to a juvenile. Children come under the state and the state has powers to protect the children even if their parents decide to hush things up” the Peterite old boy said.
Strangely till to date the current Yahapalanaya led Minister of Education Akila Viraj Kariyawasam, has also continued to remain mute despite this incident hitting Sri Lanka and global audiences.
“I watched the entire video and also have been following all the comments made by several parents on social media. I condemn this sadistic behaviour” an educational expert told Colombo Telegraph on condition of anonymity.
A cross section of Facebook comments are found below:
Lana de Zoysa I must agree with shanze. I firmly believe that if any teacher or coach needs to use physical abuse on a child then he /she is incapable of doing his/ job ! There are a million ways to discipline children . They too have self respect and should be taught to have self respect. This will only destroy it. He should never be permitted to come anywhere near a playing field again !
Shanella Gunaratna Fiona abuse is not discipline sorry don’t agree … A month or a year is not the problem! Another player kicked by this player is proof to show that the very player who has been abused is of the mindset that abuse is ok. As the seed has been planted by this ass of a coach that practises the method “abuse is the right form of discipline”
Abuse of women, abuse of children, rape, domestic violence is all a result of this sort of abusive action. We are so ready to protect this ass of a coach saying his action of abuse was right. Then all the abuse that goes in in society should also be ignored! Is it not? Like the so called white van culture , racial abuse, religious abuse!!!! So please dont pick and choose! Abuse is abuse in which ever form or shape it is served!
C. Delani De Silva I just dont get how a person can be a coach when he dosent have the 1st discipline of self to begin with. needs to go on a diet and set an example not slap kids
Shiranti Haputantri It doesn’t matter what the player has done, there’s a way to take disciplinary action, thrashing a child is not the way to it. This kind of nonsense should not be tolerated at all. I hope this nasty man will not be hired by anyone until he get his act together.
Aruni Mahipala Do you know what the coach ( an adult) did to the boy? Taught a lesson? Do you think he learnt anything being humiliated like that?
Cheryl Ranasinghe It is unbelievable how people miscontstrue actions for discipline as abuse
Christina De Zoysa That is a monster and he’s not even trying to hide it. Shame on the parents of these children for allowing this thug to bully their kids. Teachers/coaches should not be given the right to lay a finger on other people’s kids. That right needs to be taken away from them completely! They’re not gods! They WILL end up taking out their frustrations on our kids, it’s going to happen when you give them that authority.
Ayanthi Gunasekera How ever good the coach is , this is unacceptable.- what is the message he is giving his students?
Ayanthi Gunasekera Lilamani Goonewardene , one of our friends grand son, was selected in to a rugged team. Only 11 years . Apparently some boys who could not, make the cut broke his leg! Imagine how angry these little kids have to be.
Sujeewa Suriyaaratchie Looks to me Principle and the School Sports authorities are mum over the bullying and smacking of the Kid and violating the Fundamental Rights of the Kid and try to sweep it under the carpet in the name of Rugby.A disgrace to school sports officials and for the sports. Do not let these thugs continue as coaches in school sports.
Sandra Obeyesekera Is this how they make a boy tough? Oh dear what outcome! No wonder! St Peters! I personally kno a student who busted his eardrum by a teacher and another who was assaulted when the boy was 6 or 7 by a maths master waaaaaaay back and the parents kept mum f fear of repraisal! Violence oh violence how it thrives! No wonder they condone this behaviour..the Victorian tradition of using violence to toughen boys goes decades back! People r still in the dark ages! Physical violence is mostly used in boys schools to control boys and emotional abuse occurs in girls schools..to control girls…seen it witnessed it myself over the years…..Sad as. …there r many respectful ways to toughen a child in the 21st century! Believe me!
Anne Peris WHO THE HELL IS THAT THUG? HOW DARE HE SLAP THAT BOY THERE ARE OTHER FORMS OF PUNISHMENT, IF THAT WAS ONE OF THE RAJAPAKSA’S BOY’S WOULD THAT BRUTE HAVE SLAPPED THEM TOO? I HOPE THAT BOYS PARENTS DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. IF THAT HAPPENED HERE IN AUSTRALIA, ALL HELL WOULD HAVE BROKEN LOOSE.
Melanie Jayasinghe How dare he does this, such a bully. Pls sack him at once he should not be tolerated!
Shiranti Haputantri Is this the spirit of sports coming from an coach or master whoever…I guess the parents and the young boy will tolerate to keep his place in the team, they work hard and sacrifice their studies to so much get into these teams, isn’t it? Just watching the clip has anger me so much, hope someone will have the backbone to get this man out for good. Such arrogance shouldn’t be tolerated at all
Shiranti Haputantri Thameez Nazeer pathetic how you accept this nonsense inhuman behavior. If it was in another country this bully would have been taken away in no time…
Rachel Richards Whoever posted this please indicate the school and if possible the name of the coach. He should be banned from coaching for life. Humiliating and hitting a student will not get him anywhere.
Carol Wijeyekoon Mauffer Usoof yes it cud have happened, either purposely or accidentally. But this is no way, specially, coach shud handle this situation…it’s really de-grading himself…his low breed.
Shelagh Paul St Peters? wow.. ! worse things must have happened in the days without Social Media.. wonder why he slapped him…? rough play happen in the scrum.. ! yes he should not have slapped him… .
Crizzp Papii L Davnel Davy I recon….. Coach is not getting any sex … When he’s home maybe his woman dominants him…. N takes the frustration on kids…..
Carol Wijeyekoon Aman Ameer parent doesn’t know. Now it has gone viral n should be published in the papers & social media too…where are they? All silent.
Tashiya Captain Absolutely correct Imran Saibo. Just because it happened to you or still happens … does not MAKE IT RIGHT. No one has the right to hit ANYONE. This is exactly the type of behaviour [and some justifying] it that leads to abuse of spouse, children etc.
Jasmin Fernando There are so many like him out there. This man should be sacked and be charged for child abuse.
Tashiya Captain DISGRACE. In this day and age. He should be banned from coaching. Times have changed .. there are other more acceptable methods of discipline and getting results. THIS IS NOT ONE OF THEM. Just because it happened to you 20 years ago does NOT MAKE IT NORMAL OR RIGHT.
This SOB Shud be immediately reported with this footage to the Police, Principal of School n Ministry +++ Minister of sports:- Are u sleeping.??? Have a look, what OUR children are going thru….!!! Come on…
He should be jailed
Nadeera Nanayakkara Copied from psychologytoday – A large meta-analysis of studies on the effects of punishment found that the more physical punishment children receive, the more defiant they are toward parents and authorities, the poorer their relationships with parents, the more likely they are to report hitting a dating partner or spouse. They are also more likely to suffer mental health problems, such as anxiety, depression, and substance abuse problems, and less likely to empathize with others or internalize norms of moral behavior.
Priyanthi Silva Shameful. To assault a boy in public. If he had to be corrected for something, he should have been called aside and scolded in private not publicly assaulted. Whoever that person is he is a bully. should be sacked immediately. Thank you for publicizing these incidents. At least then maybe this sort of thing will stop!
Imran Saibo WTF
this kind of behaviour is unforgivable, condoning it simply because it was a practice is the same as saying slavery existed, so let it go on . Only a illiterate, uneducated moron would agree with this kind of action .This man whoever he is should be prosecuted by law for assault and battery , I would like to see this hero do the same to the child of a person who wields influence , bully , thug , sadist are too mild a terms to describe this piece of work
Kumar Soysa / February 19, 2019
Violence and terror is rampant in our country and elsewhere. It is sad. I too played Rugby, a noble game in the 1950s and early 1960s. Rough play was NEVER tolerated and players were not reprimanded by being slapped publicly. One act of violence does not absolve a previous incident. This “coach” should be suitably dealt with.

St Peters Colombo 4 prided itself for discipline i.e. corporal punishment. Parents wanted their children canned. What you see in this picture is innocent and pretty harmless. What I witnessed in this school when I was a student was far far worse. The psychological scars left on the youth that passed out of St Peters is massive. But the victims nor their parents never understood or realized what they had suffered. To this day they are ignorant of their own treatment and that of their peers. At times genuine attempts were made to stamp out the practice of beating up on a poor student in anger by members of the staff by an enlightened rector but the these practices never went away. Usually the victims were students who just could not get good grades due to mental problems for social problems of coming from a broken home. They bore the brunt of the assaults. In one incident the adult brother of a student who was badly mauled by a staff member took the said staff member by the neck and raised him up and threatened to kill him if he ever laid hands on his brother ever again. This incident happened in the presence of the then rector of the school who promptly issued orders to the staff to lock up their cannes. I would guess that if you applied the current laws against physical abuse of children that exist in most western countries to St Peters. then about half the teaching staff would end up behind bars.

Fr. Trevor Martin, the Rector of St. Peter’s College wants to win all the time. He loves being in Team Photo’s when there is a trophy involved. His mantra is “Return on Investment”. So Martis has to keep winning to hold on to his job at St. Peters
A section of the Old boys despise Sanath Martis being coach. Four or five years ago, they were successful in getting Martis removed and a foreign coach involved. But Martis, from outside, together with a group of egotistic Old Boys, undermined the foreign coach, and together with the Rector, got him sacked.
Martis is known to make his plays kneel and then goes around kicking them. He carries a stick and whacks them when he is not happy. He too wants to win at all cost.
So together with the Rector who has got his back, they will continue to do what they want. The OBU has no say, as the Rector pays no attention to them. This sick trash will continue to abuse the boys.
It will be up to the Minister of Sport and the Minister of Education to get involved and sack both the Rector and the Coach. As they say, fish begins to rot from the head… Fr. Trevor Martin has caused the down fall of this prominent Catholic College which has a rich tradition.

Don’t expect the Peterite priests to take any action. They promote violence and sadism against students. I left St Peter’s in the 70s. Just ask students of that era about Billa. He walked about in his robes with a thick cane and took any opportunity to mercilessly whip any student under the slightest pretext. There were many other priests of similar inclination on the staff who used hands and fists. They perhaps were all misfits, forced into the priesthood by their parents as was the practice of Catholic households who believed the eldest son had to be gifted to god. Now even the pope has come to realize the extent of sadism and homosexuality existing in the church. The pope’s latest revelation was that priests had been having a very satisfactory sex life with the nuns. I am no longer a Catholic and think hell would be preferable to having been at St Peter’s in the 70s.

Sinhala_Man / February 19, 2019
Dionysus, well said.
.
Is there so much need to discuss this? The evidence is there, take action. Please CT, get articles written on what happens in other schools.
.
For example, there was an initial attempt at cover-up, but now a retired District Judge is said to be investigating The Priest-Principal of St John’s, Jaffna who is a married man with children. That’s an Anglican school, so priests can marry. He had kissed and groped a thirty-year-old male teacher. Obviously, there is speculation as to what he had done with students – but if there is no evidence, we should not talk vaguely.
.
Then take S. Thomas’, Mt Lavinia. I feel that the school is well run, but not the three branch schools. Go back a few years: Wasim Thajudeen and the Rajapaksa siblings studied there. Judging by what appears in the media, there can be no doubt that one of the Rajapaksas murdered Thajudeen who was the best of those four rugby players. Why hasn’t that been investigated? Judging by the responses to this story that will get displayed in about an hour from now (it is 2.45 p.m. – it may be that they have already come on.)
.
By the way, I am a retired teacher who has worked mainly in State Schools in Uva. My current observation is: the bigger the school, the worse the abuses.
.
As for this story: please circulate on Facebook (I hardly ever open mine), but keep it out of news sites. Must there be so much discussion before action is taken on such an open and shut matter?

Dear Mr Sinhala man,
–
Please name of the god, be away from Rajaapkshe issues, even if we are well aware of their mlechcha activities against own folks; Rajapakshes are broad day murderers , that they proved over the years.. and also during that 51 black days.
– my request to you is because we love you SINHALA man, we dont want you to be targeted by them. They are so brutal criminals. We know how they killed Lasantha and over 23 prisoners in Welikada, over 44 journos whose whereabouts are not yet clear…
And we all know that Rajaakshes killed that rugby player, Thajudeen and all is covered for their safe.
So, this issue is one of the brutal acts, with almost all prima facie evidence being collected, nevertheless the case is further being not investigated. Reasoning not to go for it is connected with former President underhand mechanisms with the authorities those who are responsible for the investigation.
:
Apologies, CT had allowed only a part of my previous text posted to you on this forum. If time would allow, I will write more tonight.
:
Greetings from Germany, with the weather becoming much better these days (15 degrees)
Yours Desperateas noother
/
Sinhala_Man / February 19, 2019
Dear Desperateas noother,
.
Many thanks for your concern which I know to be sincere. We have clearly agreed on many issues. However, I really mean this: you have said as follows:
.
“We know how they killed Lasantha and over 23 prisoners in Welikada, over 44 journos whose whereabouts are not yet clear…
And we all know that Rajaakshes killed that rugby player, Thajudeen and all is covered for their safety.”
.
When we all know, and when we ran the risks necessary to bring about a peaceful regime change in January 2015, how can any of us be content to be calling for the blood of anybody other than the Rajapaksas? Actually, I’ve never been in favour of harsh punishment; would prefer reform of criminals. However, there are degrees of culpability. With the Rajapaksas it is “maxima”.
.
I know that there is an element of risk. But I think that I can take those risks, and I must.
.
For the rest, I know that there are many readers, including you, who have been saying complimentary things about me during the last two years or so. I’m sure that you are sincere. But surely, we must focus on “broad day murderers’ rather than on smaller fry.
.
This Sanath Martis fellow can be punished (not hanged, please) within a week. What need for discussion.
.
By the way, should I make more observations on the teaching of English, here?
.

Thank you so mcuh for your response Mr Sinhala man.
Yes I am very sinsere. And I love only sincere ones only. I was worried as I was reading that you called a spade a spade regarding the aforementioned murder. And GOING by what I read about Rajapakshes, I believe, Rajapakshes are unpredictable. They are the most dangerous men in the country. Their stregnth is MEDIA and being able to twist the mind set of the rural folks (uneducated masses). I dont think that their true colours are known to even their own family
–
And I do think Mahinda Rajapakshe would NOT leave anyone who he thinks would stand against him and their men. That is why your previous comment worried me that much. Not in war time periods, but more in post war scenario, we could study lot more about the Rajapakshe brutal rule.
:
Today entire nation is thrown on to DRUG MAFIA, thanks to Rajapakshes.Recalling how MR supported drug traffickers, many like me would never respect him even if his leadership claimed the war victory in 2009.
.
His total ignorance against drug traffickers let poor youth be addicted the drugs. I know several families in CMBO whose grown up children have been caught by drugs and got their lives totally damaged. These families went through all the hurdles even them becoming apart. Those mothers in such families and their anxities almost kill them everyday. Supporting drug traffickers was publicly made by Rajapakshe: As a leader he could do lot more if he was intelligent. He had a 2/3 majoirity in the parliament to react adequately.Unfortunately, his power intoxication made him blind.
Even today that NIMAL Lansa, is scot free so as Gotabaya with their crime records.
Either JUDGES and Lawyers are blind or they are made totally indifferent not allowing them to grasp the gravity of the crime levels in the coutnry today.

Just to mention how the civilised world cared for their young ones. We lived for a while in Canada. Apparently one of neighbours had seen his next day neighbour was abusing his kid, and they reported it to social service, they came, took the kid, and handed over him to a very good foster parents to care for him. When parents and elders failed to care for their young ones, then the state moves in and see to that. that kid is well protected and cared for until he/she reaches adulthood. In this age, it’s really pathetic that we in Sri Lanka still have highly abusive violent culture and behaviours, which in long run would turn out a highly violent and intolarent society, where people find it’s hard to reconcile and live in amity.

It’s crystal clear now, according to comments nobody wants this man to coach children, even adults.
Unfortunately in our country, there’re keen appreciators to corporal punishment to save such criminals/maniacs like this Sanath Martis.
We can see some parents give permission for teachers to beat their children.
There must be a plan to catch such parents & punish or rehabilitate them.
Our teachers must be thoroughly instructed & supervised; to assure that kids are safe @ the their hands.
There’re teachers, especially female who don’t tolerate children from lower income/different social groups..
It’s advised that CCTV camera system be installed in every class room.

But this master is stressing the players or demoralizing his abilities he has not Diagnose his coaching boundaries, Next time this the player play the game to avoid coach punishment not to win the game.

The millennial generation will suffer with this kind of cultural change.
,
If you shout at them, you call it abuse. If you slap them, you call it assault. If you correct them, you call it harassment. If you apply any kind of pressure, you call it bullying.
,
Let’s look at an active boy. He is highly energetic, likes to explore new things, he faces future without fear, likes to think outside the box, rely on his impulse, he never runs away from an opportunity, where he can test his limits.
,
Self obsessed, difficulty in paying attention, hyperactive, ignoring danger, lack of impulse control, easily distracted, forget schedules, outburst of anger are characteristics of ADHD syndrome.
,
We can either find a way to harness the energy of this boy, and direct them to a better future or treat him for ADHD syndrome, like the western world.
,
I believe after working with children for long, this teacher’s intention would have been to direct the energy of this boy towards a brighter future with adequate discipline.

Manufactured outrage and political correctness stirred up to a frenzy.
Some comments wishing physical harm and over the top punishment for the coach shows the hypocrisy.
Though not condoning the events (teachers and coaches need education in better methods) I would rather see well disciplined young men and women come out schools than entitled brats who get away with anything they wish.

This is beyond cruelty. This is the height of abuse.
No one has the right to slap another person, particularly not an inocent student under any circumstance.
It is a barbaric act that should never be tolerated in the education system.
There are so many ways of disciplining a student and a slap talk less of three slaps does not even come close.
This bastard who is the Rugby coach in question is a monster, is a sadist and a lunatic. He need to be prosecuted for assault and jailed.
Anyone even slightly having sympathy needs to get himself checked by a psychologist.
The mothers are absolutely right. They should not look back until justice is served to this animal with a big pot belly.
Where are the Fathers? I wonder if any Father would be proud if this act of inhumanity happend to his son or daughter?
Wake up you cowerdly bastards and fight for the rights of the innocent and downtrodden like men. Men with some sense in your heads. Men with dignity. Men who have decency. Men who are men. For tomorrow it may be your child at the receiving end.

There should be two sides to a story. We have to question the reason why this player was hit by the coach. What I heard that this player had kicked a student from the opposing school while he was on the ground fallen maybe due to injury. If that is the case strict action should be taken against the student. This then becomes a disciplinary action against the student.

State education needs some key revolutionary reforms that costs nothing
to our coffers in terms of funds , 100 % of state teachers are obsessed with
forced- teaching since the concept of free education started . When this
stops ,the cane stick mentality of teachers will eventually come to a halt in
every other area of education I suppose ! Proper teaching must be the job of
teachers and learning must be left with children . The force that is used in
schools goes every step of our lives to the end of our journey . This is what
we see everywhere in the country, MUSCLE BUILDING AND VIOLENCE .
First step can start from schools it’s not heavy ! And another thing teachers
need to do is not to expect children to stand up in respect to teachers when
answering questions . This is happening in the name of good behaviour on
the part of children towards teachers but this could be one reason among
many that we have a spineless society today ! Schools and homes can not
go on like this as sit down and stand up centres . If children of today are the
future of tomorrow then they must learn the taste of freedom from home
and school . There are so many little little important things that are ignored
by this society and nonsensical things that are magnified as more
important . A real curse !

Mothers feel the pain of children – particularly the abused. Economic circumstances force children into child labour and/or ‘domestics’. Employers abuse them ‘as a matter of right’ and much worse than the abuse discussed here. Janaka Ranaweera’s brief do not permit inclusion of these.

Oh my goodness. I can’t imagine how “soft” and sensitive people are nowadays.
What happened to the old adage that said “A child who is unpunished is like a curry that was never stirred”?
People need to relax. Perhaps these people do not know this little SoB kicked another player who was down on the ground. Where is the outrage for that?
These women on social media are like Monkies with Razor blades in their hands. They only know to shout and scream when something like this happens. Instead of trying to find out what that little SoB did on the field.
That little bastard is lucky just to get slapped. If it was me, I’d hang the little son of a gun on a tree upside by his two feet.

You may be right. Today they talk nothing about the murdered rugby player and his murder investigations being stagnated, but about a slap that a coach to have given to a student ?.
.
I think today kids are beyond all obeyance. They would not care what anyone ask them to do, they just move forward. Surely, that shoudl be changed but not if his slaps were daily routine. The info about contains nothing about how many times this coach did so. Without holding any kind of investigations on the issue, you cant say any thing either.
:
I think today social media waits to attack someone…. like frogs wait for their prey (insects).

RETARDED Shameless Perera.
“These women on social media are like Monkies with Razor blades in their hands.” Are you looking at yourself in the mirror and seeing a male monkey? Did your own razor blade accidentally slash-off your mushroom head that balances your pea brain? Any monkey with a razor blade will do a much better grooming job than yourself. Shameless and brainless bugger trying to hang a kid upside down. We offered you mental treatment intending to teach you the finer points in life about discipline, abuse and assault. We provide many lessons free of charge that includes a free burial service minus the casket when we don’t succeed in treating retards like you.

NO coach is above the law of the land. Child abuse, physical and mental is illegal and unacceptable. The best coaches would have made clear to the team what is acceptable, and what is not.If the young person did commit a serious infringement, there are several remedies. The easiest is banning the young person from playing for the rest of the season. The message will quickly get through.
Rugby will survive without players who are thugs, and certainly without coaches who are thugs.

Spring Koha,
The Law of the land does not say, a Parent or a Teacher cannot punish a child with corporal punishment. Even in Canada this is the case with a few limitations.
Try taking Matis to the Police station, the Ralahamis will give you an earful.

Sri Lanka’s education system to eliminate corporal punishment

You bloody Nitteowa, you are the one who is lacking comprehension skills. Just because SL’s education system plans to eliminate corporal punishment, doesn’t mean it has done so already.
Besides, even if the education department does ban it, doesn’t make it law.
You don’t have the intelligence of a punakku eating cow to differentiate between regulations to be initiated by the education dept. and the law.

Dumb-ass, go back to school.
–
Let’s start at the very beginning
A very good place to start
When you read you begin with ABC
When you sing you begin with Do, Re, Mi, Do, Re, Mi
The first three notes just happen to be
Do, Re, Mi, Do, Re, Mi
Do, Re, Mi, Fa, So, La, Te
Oh let’s see if I can make it easier

The correct thing to do now is,
1.Counsel the child and the team so as to avoid long term psychological trauma.
2.Have a physician examine the child to ensure he has not suffered any damage. .
3.Ask the coach to ask for forgiveness from the child and the team.
4.Advise the coach this behavior will not be tolerated in the future.
5.In order to restore public confidence the School management must make a public pronouncement of zero tolerance policy for this kind of behavior.

A good slap or two is always necessary to learn a valuable lesson… The west has become too soft on their younger generation and thats why they look to countries such as ours which still have old values to fill their work force.
