Speaker Promises Stern Action On MPs Who Breached Discipline In Parliament

Speaker Karu Jayasuriya, addressing a party leaders meeting earlier today, had raised grave concerns over the developments that took place in parliament, last week.

Issuing a statement a short while ago, the Speaker’s Office said Jayasuriya promised strict action on those who breached discipline in the House by launching chilli powder attacks, bringing knives into the chamber, damaging public property and misusing the Speaker’s Chair.

The Speaker added he had already called for reports from relevant parties into these incidents. He also stated that he received information that plans were afoot to disrupt Parliamentary sessions today as well and, as a result, he took measures to beef up security in the Parliament premises.

Jayasuriya said he brought the matter to the attendtion of the IGP, the Director of the Parliament Security Division, the Seargent-at-Arms and the Defence Ministry Secretary.

The Speaker also informed the party leaders that he looked into claims that there was a planned attempt to bring political supportters to the public gallery and cause disruptions to the proceedings. There was no evidence, the Speaker said, to prove such claims. However, he told the party leaders that he was ready to reveal the details about the passes issued to all MPs to bring visitors to the public gallery.

The Speaker also added that the party leaders discussed the appointment of a Parliamentary Select Committee to probe into violent incidents that took place in Parliament, last week.

While The lawyers of This Country have failed miserably in their noble profession for not pressurizing The Supreme Court to call the Election office to encourage the people to vote for a referendum to choose a preferable constitution and on the other hand The Media is plainly giving coverage to politicians to blow their trumpets.

By doing so they both are complicit in promoting The Politicians agendas to continue to hold on to a constitution that gives the politicians and their camps total impunity to do anything they wish not caring what impacts the country or people.

It is when Lawyers and Media fail to put people first and instead either rally around the Politicians or not take action to serve people that frustrates the simplest and noblest people to rebel.

The clergy is helpless, they can only advice within their borders and I am happy to note the important and eminent clergies of all religions have been sincere so far and could be the reason why people are still patient by respecting them.

But politicians must remember people are only human and they have their limitations with patience.

What is disgusting, morally revolting and conspicuously offensive is to hear The lies freely spoken out by MPS like S.B.Disanayake , Wimal Weerawanse,Dilan,Gamampila and ( very unfortunate just to build one’s future political path) even an honorable politician like Mr.Dinesh too have been adding flavor to their lies with euphemism.and all that the people can do is sit in total trauma, helpless and listen to all the lies, fabrications, false promises and be insulted and mocked by those whom they trusted and voted in.

Mr.Ranil by holding to your right to be PM is not the only way to heroism, it’s an utter selfish thought, instead the noblest action would be to step not down but aside and hand over the mantle of leadership to Sajith , which will, in fact, make you a true hero and end the crisis.

Sri Lanka is bewtowed with such fantastic writers as Emil van der Puten, Sharmini Serasinghe, Siri Gamage, Grusha Andrews, Shyamon Jayasinghe, Kumar David, Kasun Kamaladasa and Uditha Devapriya. These are world class journalists. They will beat any foreign native English writer. But, they are not doing enough for the country, They must press hard that Ranil MUST be appointed as PM. People should come out of closests and write.

These eminent men and women must write daily forcing MY3 to change his mind.

Physically attacking the police officer(s) while on duty is a serious punishable offense and no bail is granted.

The hooligan parliamentarians must all be arrested and locked. Video evidence is available.

    Exposing another lie

    Insight Ade Derana 24/7

In a decision a while ago,
an MP says a knife of 8″ blade was seen carried by a MP inside Parliment

is it a default habit for Politicians to lie and Medias to offer a platform to do so?

People are neither blind nor fools -everyone saw it clearly it was a wooden letter opener, damn shame.
The MP and host of The Insight talk show on Ade Derana is indirectly referring to the mass that they can be fooled all the time

People you saw clearly it was not a knife and it was a wooden letter opener, are you going to buy this crap?

A Weaponized Parliament: I propose that we allow at least one weapon per MP in the chamber. It could be a letter opener, a Kris knife or even an AK 47. The choice is up to the MP. I am prepared to pay for it too, for the rep in our seat.
    .
That way they will kill each other and we can just sit in our armchairs and watch the action in comfort. And we would also get rid of the vermin, cheap!

Please see it beyond, do we have any common enmies than Mahinda +Sirisena ? All my enymies together would not have done it like the duo (Rajakshe and Sirisena). There, I hate them would even be happy if they would have been beheaded going by the laws similar to SHARIA law or the like… (bitter words, to show my anger Rodrigo.. but I remain buddhist and believe in buddhas real teachings).

These men have done all blunders but make every effort to paint the pictures in favour of them further.

How dare the men in that age could ever go for it.. then something big should have gone wrong for them in their life times ?

Today I got to listen this following Edwin, please listen to it. I have added the link for you.

Srilanka is the 5th nation in the world to have been caught by CHINESE debt trap.

An appeal to Western Embassies: I respectfully request your assistance to stop the non democratic forces from taking over Sri Lanka. This can be done by making it impossible for those responsible for the conspiracy to enter your countries. Please do not issue any entry Visa to these individuals and/or their close family members, irrespective of the positions they occupy.
    .
The advantage of this would be that they cannot complaint and say that you are interfering in the internal affairs of Sri Lanka. Every country has the right to decide who should enter or not enter their territories. There is no necessity to give the reasons. Just say NO.
    .
I suggest that President Maitripala Sirisena, MP Mahinda Rajapaksa and all members of the illegal ‘cabinet’ be included in this list.

    Thank You!
