Sri Lanka Rupavahini media crew was not allowed to enter Friday night’s Olympics opening ceremony the Colombo Telegraph has learnt. The reason behind the decision is still unknown . Olympic fans in Sri Lanka won’t be able to watch tonight opening ceremony via Sri Lankan national TV.

The guy is shameless running to a country where his family, cronies and media are clearly not welcome. the only reason he has an invitation is because he is the head of state of long suffering lanka and out of respect for the cournty cos he is universally despised in the international community.

Dilan, the issue is we all shun using filth in a forum as this. Yet at the same time you have to understand the patience of the public is at it’s end, as it is a matter between life and death when the Governing type dispense absolute scant disrespect for the Public Right. There is not many (just one)olympic medals won in the past 2 decades but coming to promote their TV coverage. We cannot pretend like uncle China and Uncle Russia just because they are our friends. Thanks alot Rohan. I was ignorant on CSN. I wonder how far they got to the olympic village or did they ever land with their miks and speakers . They could have easily carried all the filming equipments in their diplomatic baggages as usual and not declaring any and avoid being detected. Bad time guys may be next time .
