Thease days, Dayan Jayathilaka seem to have sealed of his both ends.

Either the bugger is with other sabotagers getting ready to be staged on the 1st May or he has finally grasphed that he sat with the dogs.

More likely the supporters of MR and the thugs are behind this.

Police and CID should trace this and clear the fears of the people:

This is just the beginning of more serious stuff to happen… I say arrest Dilantha Withana of BBS and also Galgoda Aththe…they have incited violence against minorities and this happens in MR’s constituency…INTERESTING…

MS and RW better be taking precaution… Now that these weapons were found in a TEMPLE, WHETHER GARDEN OR INSIDE IS IRRELEVANT… WHAT IF IT WAS IN A KOVIL OR MASJID…? they all would have cried foul and said oh…. LTTE has re emerged and ISIL has set foot in SL…

Mark my words.. the BBS is hand in Glove with MR’s clan and will de-stabalize SL for their selfish agenda….flash back of SWRD comes to mind….

They can be found in a mosque, church or kovil as and when necessary. The politicians are capable of anything.

CT has a inept ability to justify newsworthiness of a article. This happened in SL & they don’t have to say it was found in a BUDDHIST Temple. They just can say the stolen items were found in a temple!!!!! In the face of what happened I think it was a opportunistic theft with no planning.

This is an exception for CT. But our media never mentions the identity of a criminal if he / she is a Sinhala Buddhist, but if it is a Tamil or Muslim the identity of the person is mentioned often. This happens all the time in the print and the electronic media. I hope you will be able to pull up the media if the media mentions the religious or ethnic identity of the minorities also.

Thank you for pointing this out.

Blocking websites stealing weapons are the sign of bad times ahead.

Some one stealing weapons for a PURPOSE !! the Government should be warned and seriously worried at this point.

Wait and see THE UGLY ANARCHY IS LIFTING THE HEAD AGAIN WHILE THE RAPUKKA SUPPORTERS WAIT FOR MIRACLE TO HAPPEN.

      DANDEROUS SIGNS IT IS.

These are absolute games. Without any question these are upper chambers plannings. They are trying to find the Gobi three in JVP.

Nobody’s wildest guess will find out why these guys planting firearms in Buddhist temples. Are threatening Tamils or Are they threatening West or is it game within the ruling SLFP-UNP, but nothing for others …Who knows!

Somebody else wrote a comment that the sale of Hambantota to China is not about loans or commissions. There should be more of a conspiratorial, undercover agenda. That sounds like much in line with the Apee Aandu’s jilmats. Suggestions were it is to buy China for veto if anybody try to follow any actions for not implementing the UN resolution. It is extremely unlikely that after America ousted Old King for New King to take over, then the most trickiest fox alive, Ranil giving his head willingly to be caught by China? When China comes in and start to block the flights, as Fonseka said, over Hambantota and Colombo only the part of truth of the 99 years lease will come out. It was said, on 4th of February 2015 Freedom day, China refused to allow to fly Lankawe’s flag in Colombo Port area.

Were persons at the Buddhist temple interrogated, if not why?
Were the cops breathalysed immediately – unless they were drunk, this could not have happened.
I shudder to think what may have happened if the weapons had been found at a Hindu temple.
So far, no word on the interrogation of the interdicted policemen.
Have charges been framed against them in terms of the Establishments Code ?
Or, will the matter be postponed and finally forgotten & they be brought back into service at remote locations.
Or, will a ‘fall-guy’ be found & charged?
Will this matter affect the selection of an IGP?

      Justice,
This is a well planned usual Home and Home (Last & Current – Joint Govt of SL) political game to take all the people for a major ride. Just watch and enjoy the drama until the day severe ever lasting pain of beeing screwed well and truly is felt. Anyway by the time the pain is felt it will be too late for any cure.

Imagine the outrage had this been in a Mosque. There would be claims of Jihadists coming to take over the nation. Now that it is only a Temple everything is fine in Sri Lanka.

    Nice one..

Obviously they are not going to find it in Naloor Kovil, Bishop Raiappu,s House, Malwattu Vihara, Chikera’s Holiday Home or even Gangaramaya after Podi Hamuduruvo tripped the old Dayakaya after inviting him to meet the new Dayaka Batalanda.

Even if they did Batalanada Ranil.s UNP Police wouldn’t report it .. Would they?….

This is all to do with sabotage the new gov’t.from electricity to finding weapons suicide kits etc now Namal malli have to proof where he got the money from.so they wanted to safe guard each other.

This is purely to stir the Buddhist cleargies and the gov’t.so majorities to against the govnt if they miss handle the temple and the priest.so govnt have to carefully deal with it.

Also if any illegal fiance or properties they find better cease them.rather than wasting time and money as we all knows the truth where the money comes from.and cease it without publicity in that way they take it as pardon and make them a good citizens of our country.we all make mistakes but turn them as good leaders.god bless mother lanka.Yathum uray yavarum Kellir.

When UN resolution asked to investigate the Human right violation cases, out of the 30 years of raping, shooting, killing and torturing of government forces and the paramilitary, Appe Aandu has arrested only Pillaiyan and keeping him without bail under PTA. Pillaiyan was a Chief Minister of province council, where the ruling party won the provincial council, under the government of SLFP, which is a partner in the coalition government, now. Why Pillaiyan was arrested is, not for any of his past LTTE activities which may or may not come under PTA, but for the role in the shooting a TNA MP. It is said Pararajasingam M.P has been writing of SLFP government’s and Old King’s criminal activities under pseudo names. As to save the army from this bad name, Tamil paramilitaries were used by SLFP government to major crimes. So Pararajasingam’s M.P’s murder is coming under Human rights and International humanitarian laws violation, not under PTA. This was the reason, long ago, Ambassador Blake insisted to Sri Lankan government it has to investigate that case. Then UN supplied the group of International Eminent Persons to oversee the Udugama’s investigation with the permission of Old King. Group Chairman Justice Bhagawati resigned and the commission wounded down not seeing any ability within them to straighten the flawed judicial procedure of Lankawe. Udugama Commission’s reports never published because of accusation of it was hijacked by the current constitutional council member Radhika Coomaraswamy for the favors she was seeking from Apee Aandu to become the UNSG. She discarded the CT commentators’ questions to clarify the background of the accusations.

Now Ex. CM, Pillayan and his mates arrested to this Human Rights violation and International Humanitarian law violation is held under PTA, without bail only because he accepted his part in the government’s murder of Pararajasingam M.P. and he was the party represented the government in the murder as the CM of EPC. Further, it was reported, during the investigation, he went further ahead and said he was asked by Old King to murder New King and he supplied the hitmen to that also. It is not clear if he was a trigger puller in any of those murders, but his case is not taken to court under International laws, though he had accepted the guilt, he still kept in prison and fed by army. There is no reason not to proceed his case as he has confesses, but if government wants to use him and state witness, they still can use him and even release him if he had helped the government to uncover anything. Then, without violating his rights, why can’t they allow him to face the case and then go back to prison?

There is a chance the army may be feeding him with poisons suspected had brought Cancer and many serious illness to the released rebels, including Tamilini, whom the government wanted to put against CV and Ananthi in NPC election but she promptly declined. After her death, with her name, a book has been released. It is not sure if Pillaiyan’s evidences being documented against LTTE to release another book rather than to prosecute him and the government’s member who ordered him to supply hitmen if he wanted to hold on to the Chief Minister Post. If the Army and CID feeding him with poison, when the posion has started to work, they may tell the judges not to extend his arrest anymore and later, after his death they will release the LTTE bashing book on his name.

As the questions raised by the Northern writers about Tamilini’s and other Rebels deaths has not been taken seriously, nobody can say anything about the future of Pillaiyan. Helpless Sampanthar asked to prosecute the Suicide Jacket man so hoping some truths may come out. But, like Vidya’s case, he may never be prosecuted in an open manner. One day he may be used to arrest another Jayakumari and making him as the Gobi #2. This will be the end of Pillaiyan, Pararajasingham.M.Ps death and Old Royal official who ordered Pillaiyan to send the hitmen.

Here is the deal. Sivarajah Genivan, who was convicted in Sri Lanka court as tried kill the New King, was pardoned and released. Even if Pillaiyan had sent the hit men not on the Old King’s orderst, he had only send the hitmen. He did not do it. When Genivan tried he was in LTTE, but Pillaiyan was in SLFP. Even if somebody wants to accuse Pillaiyan of terrorism on that case, Genivan has been released already. Pillaiyan was somebody who was already pardoned for his action was allowed to be in CM post. Then, is the holding Pillaiyan in prison and not allowing him to go for court and let him tell what he wasn’t is not saving the old King. Isn’t it the sins Ranil carrying with him that Old Royals did? They are not ready to interrogate Champika, but they interrogated GL.

Come on man! What all these nonsense dramas are, instead of leaving the law and order matter to judicial mechanism established in the country by British administration?

When they behave in case like Pillaiyan like this, what do they want the commonsense people to think when they plant firearms in Buddhist temple and recover it? All what we can think of them is “They rae Original Grade one Criminals”.

    Dear editor
The way you have reported the incident is misleading the common people. Those weapons were found in the garden of the temple. Not inside the temple. As a result of the way you reported some of the people are trying to compare this with Muslim’s mosque or Hindu kovil. All those are rubbish.

Heh, heh,, Mr Perera. When was the last time you tried to find out when a news of this sort was out about a Tamil or Muslim house, whether it was from the garden or from the inside. Also, would you please tell us who would have placed those things in a *garden of a* temple? Rubbish???? Oh yeah!!!

You are correct, Rohan. This is not the first time I noticed these kind of reporting. Yes, I did not make a comment about those. What I wanted to emphasise and criticise, not only CT, in general, most of the media people deliberately hide half of the truth. That’s what I said they mislead people.

I am expecting a hard-hitting speech from Kurakkan Monkey, to point out that the Buddhist temples have become terrorism dens. He should demand the President to raid all Buddhist temples and seek TID officers to take the temples people for serious interrogation! One rule for one country, right?

Let us not close our eyes to reality but conduct some serious investigations. This time discovery of lost weapons in the temple compound seems innocent enough. But did some one get cold feet? Mr. C.S.Perera should open his eyes. If I remember correctly in the past illegal printing activities had taken place within Buddhist temples. There were arrests made for reasons known to the general public.

    I am not surprised.

When thugs rule the temples dressed in saffron robes what more do you expect. First they incited the public to unleash violence on minorities. Not satisfied the temples are now going to mount a guerrilla warfare against minorities. Theft of weapons is the first step.
