The EU Way To Bring Our Generals To Trial: Operation Flavius

By S. Ratnajeevan H. Hoole

Prof. Ratnajeevan Hoole

Chief Guest’s Address at University of Jaffna, Vavuniya Campus,  as Dr. Gnanaseelan Jeyaseelan’s “National Conflict and International Intervention: A Media Discourse, London: Thesam Publications, 2021, 399 pages) was launched on 7 Jan. 2021.

Chairman, Vice Chancellor, My dear Friends:

I am indeed happy to be here with you in Vavuniya. My earliest association with this campus was when I contested for the post of Vice Chancellor in the year 2002. At that time itself I proposed that you be made a university. I did the same in 2005 and again in 2011. Along the way Dr. Krishnakumar your then Dean, and this proud author, Dr. Jeyaseelan and your union backed my candidature. The community and the Vanni MPs too backed my candidature. I am most grateful. I hope this soon becomes a university.

I am most grateful to you, Vice Chancellor Sir, that when I as Coordinator for Engineering was confined to a small office in an isolated corner in Jaffna, you gave me your spacious office, that of the Head of Mathematics, and went to another room. I will never forget that.

Those were dreadful days in 2005. Because I advocated Vavuniya as a separate university, the LTTE condemned me as a regionalist, although we were and are regionalists in asking for Jaffna University and devolution. That is the nature of our politics. Drs. Krishnakumar and Jeyaseelan stood with me for principles and were undeterred by threats.

It is perhaps because of that that Dr. Jeyaseelan chose as his doctoral topic “National Conflict and International Intervention.” Let me state that there is no way for development without English texts. This book sets the stage for an English language publishing industry from the North-East. We need it badly for our intellectual survival. It is refreshing that it is in good English – a truly Jaffna production from writing to printing.

These are times when the media is highly biased. Jeyaseelan hints at the English and Tamil media’s incapacity to contribute to reconciliation. He points to a newspaper alluding to traditional homelands as stopping Tamil people from breaking free to join in the search for peace. He draws our attention to another in the guise of promoting federalism watering it down to District Councils and insisting on the unitary state. He says that well before rejecting the LTTE discourse on separatism, the Sinhala nationalists and their media had already rejected the homeland claim. He faults all the major English newspapers for giving space to condemning LTTE terrorism while being silent on this democratic, pluralistic state’s miserable treatment of Tamils. The Tamil media are not spared either. He specifically mentions how the Muslims are marginalized.

The book review has been done by Dr. Mahim Mendis. It suffices to quote my late friend Prof. Chelva Kanaganayakam of Toronto, Member, Royal Society of Canada. He says this book is well-researched, thorough and a valuable contribution to English studies.

Sri Lankan institutions downplay the role of the media in promoting fratricide – in fact blaming politicians and the media when this mess that is Sri Lanka can come only from the inherent nastiness of the people. That communalism gets horrible MPs and killers into high office.  It gives total impunity for war crimes. A person said to be responsible for the death of the Trinco 5 is a minister. Persons accused of egregious war crimes have been given high appointments and promoted to general over this Christmas time of “Peace on Earth and Good Will to all men.” Not a peep from the media which waxes eloquent on the need for controlling hate speech  as a diversion from talking about government criminality.

We are being readied for military rule – on 29 Dec. there was a chilling article from the presidential secretariat in The Daily News claiming that the public sector must learn from the army whose “readiness, reliability, relevance, resilience and respectability no doubt would make the Sri Lanka Army the greatest strength for the nation” and that the strategies of highly effective people  come “from the Armed Forces.” This from an army commanded by someone  finished high schoolat St. Thomas’ Matale with only military school thereafter? Are our soldiers better than you after your 3-4 years of training, assignments, and examinations. They are talking nonsense to set us up for military rule. These touted strategies are extremizing minorities by preventing the burial of the dead and the commemoration of dead relatives.

I wish to focus the rest of my talk on the human rights of every citizen, whether we approve of his politics or not. He might be a hardened terrorist but has a right to trial rather than summary execution. The executioners must be tried. Look at the Trinco 5, ordinary school boys killed out of racial hatred and their killers rewarded with high office. This is not the Sri Lanka anyone can love.

This theme – that everyone, however disagreeable, has rights – is provided by the European Union. Let me tell you the story of Operation Flavius where some attempting mass murder were killed by Britain’s SAS. The SAS was, however, faulted for wrongful death. That is justice. I thank the Dutch Government for funding my human rights training in France in 2000 where I was taught about Flavius.

There are so many similarities to us. Every Sri Lankan must study Operation Flavius. Ireland is an island off England.  In the year 1066 Norman the Conqueror faced off an English army of Anglo-Saxons who were routed.  The Normans who ruled England thereafter set the stage for their invasion of Ireland in the 12th century. This lies at the root of the English-Irish problems that for long plagued their relations.

That Norman invasion began more than 700 years of British rule. Direct control naturally followed when Henry VIII broke off the English Church from Rome. Ireland remained with Rome.  Henry VIII’s attempts at imposing his Reformation on the Irish Church failed. During 1534-1603, the English Crown launched its plantation policy.  English and Scottish Protestants were settled in Ireland, displacing Catholic landholders. As the English triumphed, Roman Catholic-Protestant conflict reached new heights.

New boroughs with Protestant settlers, reduced the Catholics to a minority in the Irish Parliament in 1614. The English Church was imposed. 85% of the Irish were recusants, those refusing to attend Anglican services. The Act of Union made Ireland a part of the United kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland. (Here, Buddhism is imposed. Reversing devolution is threatened).

The movement pushing for Home Rule from the 1880s, led in 1922 to the guerrilla Irish War of Independence from 1919 to 1921 by the Irish Republican Army (IRA) against British occupation forces. It was on the heels of many British colonies where white settlers were in command  getting independence – Canada in 1867,  Australia in 1901 and the White dominated Union of South Africa in 1910.

It really was time for Irish independence. However, Ireland was not a colony but a part of the UK. With IRA pressure and the end of World War I, the Anglo-Irish Treaty allowed the secession of Ireland from the United Kingdom as the independent Irish Free State. However, six northeastern counties remained a part of the UK as Northern Ireland. The land ratio between the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland was 5 to 1.

That sums up the Northern Ireland crisis. Irish Nationalists possess extensive support networks across a porous border in Ireland. The Unionists are backed by the UK security forces. Political unrest was high during the 1960s and 1970s.

Operation Flavius, set in the hey-day of IRA Activism setting off bombs against civilian targets, ended when British Special Air Service (SAS) on 6 March 1988 shot dead three members of the Provisional IRA: Daniel McCann, Mairéad Farrell and Seán Savage.

Before March 1988, the UK Government, Spain and Gibraltar were aware of IRA plans to detonate a bomb at the Changing of the Guard, a spectacular military ceremony in Gibraltar Convent.

Daniel McCann, and Mairéad Farrell and Seán Savage, travelled to Spain where they were tracked by the Spanish Police. Early in March 1988, Gibraltar believed the attack was imminent, as the trio had crossed the border from Spain into Gibraltar. The security services assessed March 8 to be the likely date of the operation. An SAS team was sent to Gibraltar. But Gibraltar border patrols and customs were not informed to avoid too many people knowing and to avoid raising suspicion among the three.

On 6 March, Savage was seen parking his car close to where people assembled for the parade. McCann and Farrell were seen crossing the border into Gibraltar. After visual exterior inspection, a bomb-disposal officer reported that Savage’s car was a suspected remote-controlled bomb. As a result the SAS took control.

Accordingly, four SAS men were ordered to arrest the trio as they get back from Gibraltar. As the SAS moved, Savage split from the other two, McCann and Farrell, who ran south, away from the border.  Two soldiers pursued Savage. The other two soldiers pursued McCann and Farrell.

The soldiers who pursued them said they made threatening movements. And they, the soldiers, opened fire.  McCann and Farrell were shot multiple times and killed.

As the other two soldiers caught up with Savage, he allegedly turned around while reaching for his jacket. He too was shot multiple times and killed.

All three IRA operatives were subsequently found to be unarmed. Farrell was shot three times in the back and once in the face. The 4 soldiers in their defense said they shot to kill because the three IRA operatives were dangerous and could detonate the bomb if given a margin to do so. Savage’s car was subsequently found to contain no explosives, contrary to the bomb-disposal officer’s report. Car keys found on Farrell’s body led to another car parked in Spain with explosives.

The television broadcaster ITV found witnesses testifying that the three IRA operatives were shot without warning, while they lay on the ground with their hands up and had been shot repeatedly on the ground. That sounds familiar? Do we have TV stations of that integrity?

But at the inquest in Gibraltar, a key witness retracted.  The verdict was that the killings were lawful. Sri Lanka again? Unlike here, memorials for IRA killers were pemitted.

The families of the victims went to the European Court of Human Rights charging premeditation in the killings. The judgment of the court in 1995 was by a close vote of 10 to 9. The court found a violation of Article 2 – the Right to Life.

According to the Court’s reasoning, knowing the trio were dangerous, the authorities failed when they had the opportunity to arrest the suspects at the border where there was no crowd and the public was not in danger. This failure suggests, the Court averred,  a lack of appropriate care in the control and organization of the arrest operation. The incorrect information given to the soldiers, rendered the use of lethal force almost inevitable.

The Court also felt that alternative explanations to intelligence reports were not sufficiently considered by the authorities – for example that the IRA team was on a reconnaissance mission, as indeed it was as indicated by the car with bombs in Spain.

This case is considered a landmark on the use of force. The judgment underscores the care and thought that must precede the use of force, which must be always necessary and a last resort.

How about us? The Gibraltar Court decided for the SAS just like our Supreme Court in Bindunuwewa when a 12-year old killed by a Sinhalese soldier was blasted by judges. Would our judges do favours to Sinhalese killers the way CJ Sarath Silva boasted about doing a favour to Mahinda Rajapaksa (Hambantota Funds) while two justices meekly signed “I agree”? Can we hold our armed forces to the high degree of responsibility demanded by the judgement? Do they have the education to study these? When they are accused of war crimes and given immunity, will they show the civic responsibility necessary to protect the rights of minorities? Would Minister of Public Security, Rear Admiral Sarath Weerasekere help bring to justice the navy men responsible for the murder of the Trinco 5?

A UK-Ireland settlement, the Belfast Agreement, was reached on 10 April 1998 on Good Friday. When will we realize our rights? We seem incapable of putting things in order and need to look to outside examples like Ireland and UNHCR. The state is incapable of being just. We need international intervention to help bring our war criminals, however high, to justice.

    Dear Prof. Hoole,
Thank you for your great analysis.

This time Srilanken war criminals would not have better excuses. Alone the manner they treat their voters today, just passing 12 months, is the best evidence how inhuman Rajapakshes are towards their own citizens.
    .
People in general if they have some sort of education, they would not repeat their failures, but Rajakshes and their henchmen would never learn it from their brutal past.
    :
Not just tamils, but sinhalese, muslims and other communities would want one thing – that is justice … we should finally punish MEDAMULANA criminals.

Tamils also did war crimes. They too must be punished. 12,000 of them were released. Tamil diaspora financed the LTTE. Tamil politicians supported the LTTE. Tamil people in Jaffna stole lands from Sinhalese in 1977 and Muslim in 1990. These are also war crimes.

If you want to punish war criminals, punish all of them. Do not target one ethnic group.

(Not that any war criminal will ever be punished anyway!!)

Tamils did war crimes , what crimes? They have been only victims of war crimes and ethnic cleansing by the Sri Lankan state, please elaborate ,instead of posting rubbish and deliberate misinformation. Even according to your own government sources the LTTE killed around 3000 Sinhalese and Muslims non combatants the most. Compare this to what the Sri Lankan state and its armed forces did on the Tamils

      leelagemalli,
Rajapakshes do not have a brutal past. It is your own Demala Tamils who have a brutal past by massacring innocent men, women, children and even unborn babies for three decades using suicide bombers, land mines, chemical weapons. These dumbos never learn a lesson from their past blunders and learn to live in peace with Native Sinhalayo who gave them citizenship to live in this paradise island instead of chasing them back to the cesspool from where their ancestors were picked up by colonial rulers soon after British left returning Sinhale they occupied for about 150 years to Sinhalayo who are the rightful owners.

“but Rajakshes and their henchmen would never learn it from their brutal past.”

Is this old and shocking picture to distract from what is going on in the Mother of Democracies, USA which has 8000 military Bases all over the world, where the Chickens have come home to roost in the Capitol? 5 dead in Washington DC. CT editors, please we need to have some current global news too!
The Violence, coups, wars that the US spread across the world during the Cold War and CIA owned ISIS attacks are coming back home to haunt. 800 overseas military bases.. the mother of democracy needs a lots of wars to sustain itself. too. Democracy is overrated of is it Fake Democracy that the US has always had?
Please do not just island this country- there are enough frogs in the well. and the use of violent old images seems like a Gestalt to distract from a lot of other current violence in the world.

Also, thanks to Prof. Hoole for the history lesson of British and EU colonialism which is alive and well with the Covid-19 panicdemic and vaccine circus!
Phil Miler’s explosive new book and documentary, “Keenie Meenie: Britain’s Private Army”, reveals how the British Govt military assistance via ex-SAS mercenaries set up the STF to Divide and Rule in Sri Lanka. Today Diaspora individuals and organizations increasingly are the colonial tentacles of the Crashing Euro-American Empire to continue Colonial DIVIDE AND RULE strategies in South Asia.
An EU resolution should also target the British Government for its military’ services’ via the Keenie Meenie Services (KMS) to JRJ to set up the Special Task Force, to Divide and Rule in Sri Lanka..

Also take up the Chaos Islands DIEGO GARCIA UK, US military base and crimes against Chagossian people of the Indian Ocean against which the ICJ ruled last February after which the US-CIA-MOssad and Saudi owned ISIS attacks were staged on Easter Sunday – so that the US-UK could set up a military base and “protect” Sri Lanka from the IS terror.
Today the face of the colonial US-UK-NATO crimes are different – Cold War turned HYBRID WAR is BIO-TERRORISM- Covid-19, Fall Army Worm attacks on Crops, and Bird Flu attacks.
As Covid-19 failed to destroy South Asia and its Farmers they are attacking Food Security in the post-colony.

Prof Hoole hits the nail on the head when he says “This from an army commanded by someone finished high schoolat St. Thomas’ Matale with only military school thereafter? Are our soldiers better than you after your 3-4 years of training, assignments” This idea of the military being supermen who can do anything is a carefully crafted myth, to promote one who was himself a member. As students, we knew that the ones with the least brain and the most brawn were the ones who joined the military or police, at least after 1956.
If these men were capable of running refineries, power grids, hospitals, hotels, or milling rice, they wouldn’t be in the military in the first place.

“how the hell they eliminated your Sun God megalomaniac Piripaharan”?
Good question. Since you ask, I’ll make it simple. All throughout, the Army had more men than the LTTE. At the end, a 10 to 1 advantage. A whole Air Force against 3 toy planes. I am not glorifying the Tigers, but what fake patriots like you living abroad should be asking is : Why did it take 30 years, and who made money out of it?

Apples and oranges, my dear. The US was operating 12,000 miles from home, and there never were more Americans than Taliban. Ours operated 200 miles from home. The best guide to the “efficiency” of the forces is the state of the SLAF. Only a couple of jets in usable condition. As an engineer, do you think a private organization would hire maintenance staff of the same quality?
One must recognise (and tell) the truth no matter how bitter it is. “Thalaivar” doesn’t come into it except maybe as an example of how to use limited resources effectively.

In the process of investigations one major issue to be addressed is the release of 12,000+ surrendered LTTE cardre without any approval from the Parliament.
Did Rajapaksa receive a massive bribe from the Tamil Diapora? Did India force Rajapaksa to do it?
Any international investigation should begin with the rearrest of these hardcore terrorists who should go through the due legal proces and then punished or released.

        Native Vedda,
You do not have the thing called ‘BRAIN’ to differentiate war mongers from those who eliminated war mongers in this country. The war mongers are the racist separatist Malabar Vellala Demalu who passed the Vaadukkodei Resolution and asked Demalu to take up arms to fight against Sinhalayo leading to the creation of the most ruthless barbaric Tamil Terrorist group LTTE that massacred Sinhalayo, Demalu, Muslims and others for three decades with suicide bombers, land mines and chemical weapons.
By eliminating LTTE Tamil terrorists who did the dong key work for Malabar Vellala Demala politicians the Armed Forces brought peace to all the people irrespective of their ethnicity or religion. But ungrateful Demalu keep on accusing the people who liberated them from the clutches of LTTE as ‘WAR MONGERS’, ‘WAR CRIMINALS’.
Use your brain when you write instead of sitting on it.

      Buddhist 01,

Karuna amman – is with Rajaakshes
      .
Any other LTTE men are today with Rajaakshes
      .
Rajakashes would not have the knowledge to differentiate the good from bad.
      :
Their tactics are to fool the nation and harvest the votes for their POLITICAL survival:
      :
Trump is today in ISOLATION becuase his politics is not even seen in far poor states in Africa. :
Srilankens should be clear, if a mad soldier would be given more powers, he would not know how to get on. The same would be what we EXPECT in SL in the months to come under NANDASENA RAJAAKSHE – who is press introverted person, may be ALSO ISOLOATED in his cage Janadhipathi mandhiraya today. Alone the manner, they get on with COVID hit expatriate srilankens is BEYON all ethics and morals. He can not say, he does not know anything being exercised by Foreign Ministry, Rajakshes should be charged for both WAR CRIMES and POST WAR CRIMES. Basta.

      Buddhist 1,

Yes all the Generals, Soldiers and the 12000+ LTTE carders that were released will have to be tried.
Ah !!! what about general Karuna Amman and Pilliyan?
What happened to KP ? is he in the Bahamas sipping a cocktail.

What about the Tamil Diaspora that funded Terrorism for 30 years?
What about the LTTE arms dealers and money launderers enjoying a good life in the EU and other Western countries?

What about the LTTE Thugs that extortered mony from the Tamil s if they resisted.

This should be a fair and just process.

If not please foget about it – The Sri Lankan Electorate will reject any biast international mechanisms that undermine the Sovereignity and Territorial Intergrity of Sri Lanka.

Even Prabhakaran who slaughtered Sinhalayo could have become the Governor of Northern Province if he gave up terrorism and separatism. But that megalomaniac dumbo wanted to be the King of Tamil Eelam and ended in Nandikadal lagoon.

Sarath Fonseka fought and your brave leader ran away and after Fonseka won the war, the coward came back and threw Fonseka in prison. Don’t go around telling people your coward leader tucked his tail between his hind legs and bolted to the USofA. Hahahahaha funny bugger, are you into stand up comedy too.

    Prof. Ratnajeevan Hoole,
You say ‘OUR WAR CRIMINALS’. Tamils are ‘YOUR PEOPLE’ and it is good that you admit they committed War Crimes. Certainly those LTTE Tamil terrorists who committed most heinous war crimes against Sinhalayo, Tamils, Muslims and others for three decades should be brought to justice and punished. The Government of Sri Lanka can provide solid evidences for the war crimes committed by LTTE Tamil terrorists.
You should also tell Great Brickis to send Adel Balasingham who tied cyanide capsules around the neck of suicide bombers and child soldiers to Sri Lanka to be tried for the war crimes she committed.
You should request countries that have allowed LTTE terrorist leaders who committed war crimes to hide under new identities to send them to Sri Lanka to try.

“We need international intervention to help bring our war criminals, however high, to justice.”

It is too late to demand any kind of justice from the current lot of thugs who grabbed power. When I say grabbed power I mean it in every possible way. It all began by poisoning the mind and converting a president who volunteered to defeat the said same thugs. It ended when with the successful detonation of bombs on Easter Sunday slaughtering innocent civilians. No stone was left unturned to discredit and undermine the then government led by RW. The media owned by suspected drug dealing families and nourished by the plotters who are now in power saw to it. Thus Sri Lanka’s minorities lost the one chance they had for reconcillation. Just like the culmination of years of race baiting and feeding the seething anger and resentment of a white minority in the USA which led to the storming of the US Capitol Sri Lanka’s politicians from 1948 have fanned the flames of communalism to suit their political agendas. Even though the consequences were evident time and time again the lesson of history was never learned and repeated over and over again. The victum in all of this is not only the minority but all Sri Lankans. You have a country that has missed out on every single opportunity to advance. You can see that almost every single other Asian democracy over taking us and leaving us behind in the dust to keep licking our wounds.

One of the roots of this racist hatred is the failure to understand history correctly and amend/correct wrong narratives of history. Has it ever been admitted that this island was not an island before the great flood severed it from the mainland. Has it ever been admitted that the narrative in the great Sinhalese chronicle is nothing but a fairy-tale? That it is patently ridiculous to claim as factual that a lion can mate with a human and bear human children or that this island was uninhabited until the advent of a tyrant banished from Bengal, India. The real reason for keeping a lid on all these anomalies is that it helped to perpetuate the myth of Sinhalese exclusivity. Remove the myths and a new accurate picture emerges. We have always been a multicultural society. Because we are an island many many different waves of people have migrated and settled over thousands of years. We have the Roman Catholic king and queen of Kandy. We have just before that the King of practically all of Sri Lanka Rajasinghe (Son of King Mayadunne of Sitawaka) who ruled and never married due to a love affair with a Hindu girl and who practiced the Hindu religion. These are facts left out or covered up to maintain exclusive Sinhalese Buddhist purity in the great chronicle.

      Thiha,
“Sri Lanka’s politicians from 1948 have fanned the flames of communalism to suit their political agendas.”
      —-
I should correct your statement. It should read as follows:
Sri Lanka’s racist separatist Malabar Vellala Tamil politicians have fanned the flames of communalism from 1920s to suit their political agendas.
      ====
“Has it ever been admitted that the narrative in the great Sinhalese chronicle is nothing but a fairy-tale?”
Wow! See what a descendant of a Dravida slave brought to Sinhale by colonial rulers from Hindusthan who does know the history of this country and its Native people say.
Sinhalayo do not deny that their country became an island about 7000 years ago and people from other countries came and settled down here e.g. Demala Tamils and Demala Muslims came from Hindusthan and settled down in this country. The undeniable truth is Sinhalayo and Vedda Eththo evolved in this country and they are the Native people. All the others are ‘Para’ (foreign origin) immigrants who became citizens of Sinhale through naturalization.

Mr.Hoole. did you notice what happened in US today. It is like President calling his armed supporters to enter capital because he is mad. This is not at all a surprise but for rest of his party politicians who stood by him and some who strongly defended each and every illegal move of his , now seems worried and concerned. ‘(Mostly about their future and party not country). The same will happen with Ragapaksas , by the end of family destruction not just the party but whole country will be left clueless

Yasmin Sooka is still looking for evidences to support these bogus accusations.
The only thing Demala Tamils do well is accusing Sinhala Buddhists who gave citizenship to Dravida slaves brought by colonial rulers and abandoned in Sinhale.

Thank you, Professor Hoole for continuing to highlight the factors that are used to divide us.
    .
Most people in Sri Lanka want an end to all the activities of politicians who use various subterfuges to divide us. There has to be thorough and impartial investigation , and thereafter all of us have to face up to the truth.
    .
Thanks also for drawing attention to what happened in England and Ireland, from William the Conqueror onwards. Reading the literature of Ireland is to know how much the imposed Protestantism dominated the Catholics. It may make us uncomfortable, as it did Jonathan Swift, who was an Anglican clergyman.
    .
From all that I can glean, The Republic of Ireland has now become a quite liberal place. We can put the past behind us, but you are displaying enormous courag e in saying all this.

Thank you Prof Hoole for a great article.

However, in our case the command responsibility is much more important.

It is not only the ordinary soldiers who carried out the orders, but the topmost person who have the orders should be punished first.

There is a difference between bad selfish politician and a businessman turned bad selfish politicians. A good ,mediocre or poor Politician knows how to magnify their non existent achievements talk loud but when things are really bad to keep their mouth shut, not expose further their failures and definitely not make the crisis at hand into catastrophe. All a person need is some basic sense and smartness (acquired or picked from street). Nixon did it, Clinton did it and even Bush. Jr knew when to fold the card s and just walk away. Not in Trump’s world. So he challenged elections, told it was stolen, tried threatening and bribing election officers. When all failed he decide to make a call and invite all those gun carrying loonies of his supporters to capital to create ruckus and destruction. He is neither a politician or a businessman. Trump was just lucky to be born to a hard working father who had sense, smartness and was willing to work for his money. During recessions his father used hard earned money investing in land/real estate, seeing the potential he bought swath of lands in major cities, including NYC. He later buildup high rises and hotels, which became milestones. Where as Trump was lazy, pampered, bully as a boy and was given the responsibility to get involved in family owned business, under guidance.

In 1980 Atlantic City was mostly rural and farming area town. In 10 years Trump made it into his own empire/world by building casinos, all bearing his named called Taj Mahal ( he was just replacing original with his miniature),trump world, trump paradise trump this and trump that. Aim was to built a replica of Las Vegas. So he brought musicals, talent shows, pageantry and with that came gun violence, gambling, pawning, prostituting, drugs and the rest. Being too lazy Trump took his profits and used loopholes to convert it to public property.By then he had moved out for his next venture building real estates and golf clubs for filthy rich Arabs. He was too lazy and not smart for Hollywood, sports, or to invest in silicon valley. When industry crashed some casinos closed, investors lost their money but crime, violence and prostitution stayed. Then came Apprentice, a reality show which suited Trump most. He was the only boss depicting as a businessman (fits his narcissism and hysteria) , the famous uttering “you are fired” (bullying), lot of naive young girls vying for his appreciation, gave him the opportunity to abuse his power to harass those anyway he wanted (called a candidate dog, the famous “grabbing a girl’s c “quote he made which was on national TV),people of his caliber thought it was a great pre-election comment,

Trump has made enough and more offences including civil, criminal, sex related, not disclosing income, not paying tax, lying to authority, breaking laws including elections laws, pressuring public officials to commit crime, suppression of vital information, now inviting riots inside WH, firing staff without reasons, pardoning criminals, deals with countries putting country at risk —-etc. He has enough evidence against crimes which were committed before and during presidency. Still he could have walked out of WH as a free man and continues with his usual BS.(who knows some would have considered him for 2024)but this guy is so dump went against his own people advise, living in his deluded world, kept creating one after another where not just the govt, party but people will demand justice. There are already four dead and many injured yesterday alone following his personal invitation to Capital to cause riots, arson and disruption.

        (1) The crime investigatioin in SL should start from 1970…….. (FP/JVP/Indian Training camps/TULF and their baby brigades) vs GOSL irregularities that led to the death of “All the innocent Mother Lankan children including the Armed forces” should be put on the table and an International panel/UN to discuss if all the UN member states all been repeating the same since the formation of the UN or not so we have permanent peace in the world and justice for all ONCE AND FOR ALL???

        (2) UN withdrawals (Rwanda led to million chopped to death) and SL the same all the countries in the final push to be discussed and sanctions brought on them accordingly??.

        (3) Ruwanda has moved on and forgiven all the past and fast becoming another Singapore if not better?? because is not interested in the duplicity of the UN because her subjects are more intelligent to work out the “UN Paradium” better than the few SL expat “loitering around” the world and has nothing to offer expect for their historical Masters??? they never did and never will hence they invest their money all around the world including in India/Singapore/Malaysia and not in SL?

        (4) May be Rwanda is not next door to India/ new Cold War and located in the park strait??

Oh yes what has happened so far, all the so called generals and officers and even ordinary soldiers, who committed war crimes , mass shootings and killings on innocent Tamil civilians have been given promotions. medals , high diplomatic postings at the UN and at various foreign embassies/high commissions and pardoned for what they did. Proving the Sinhalese led Sri Lankan state will reward any Tamil killer , who commits war crimes and other atrocities on them. The west would not have accepted these people as ambassadors or other high diplomats in their countries or in the UN , if the victims were white Europeans or other light skinned people but turn a blind eye and welcome them, when the victims are others. Showing they are hypocrites.

US will not rest until they deliver justice to those victims of five of their citizens who died.
