To Be Or Not To Be With The Party The Million Dollar Dilemma!

By Harendra de Silva

Prof Harendra de Silva

I respect Mr. Maithripala Sirisena who refuses to be addressed as His Excellency, for his bold decision to confront the the absolute villain of Sri Lankan politics. He took a bold step but he would have been ashes if not for the support of firstly the digruntled people and then those who crossed over with him including Rajitha a main architect, Champika and Ven Rathana, Arjuna, and the others. The revolution had already started when Mr. Maithripala was invited by Chandrika, Ven Sobitha, Ranil and others. Please don’t forget them irrespective of their own agendas!

We all know ‘the’ history, but have the main players forgotten history as history repeats itself. It boils down to a three cornered divide and rule. When A, B and C hate each other and have their own agendas, A and B may want to join forces to defeat the almighty C! But when C is down, A and B will have a battle of their own!

When Russians were backed by the Northern Alliance, the Americans were backed by the Talibans. But when the Russians were gone Talibans had their own agenda and turned the gun on the ‘friend’ America! When America decided to fight their former friend Talibans, they had to get the help of their former enemy the Northern Alliance! History is full of these stories such as America, Saddam and Iran; LTTE,, various splinter groups who were decimated after using them! BUT WE HAVE FORGOTTEN THESE EXAMPLES!

Maithripala 2015After defeating the villain, is Mr. Maithripala, going to back him again for the sake of resurrecting the ‘party’? Or is he really scared of the Villain and 85 thieves? If he wants to resurrect the party, get rid of the scum the dirty scoundrels within the party and outside!

The million dollar question everyone from professionals to the man on the street is asking: Is Maithripala going to be a bigger villain than MR by betraying all those who voted for him expecting a Yahapalanaya? I do agree that a paradigm shift in governance is NOT going to happen in 100 days in a corrupt country where most people are corrupt or at least ‘dishonest’ ! (I realize it is a relative term, in terms of the deed and the extent!!!)

Let us fervently hope that Mr. Maithripala will put the country and people in front when confronted with the party. A Statesman should be able to comprehend issues that are in the horizon……. beyond the bunch of 85 hooligans confronting HIM head on!. He needs to be with the people who elected him and “HELL WITH THE PARTY! After all the party is only a colour with a symbol full of (majority) dishonest people rather than based on policies! The blue changed to Kurahan (millet) and then to a rainbow to hoodwink all sides. The symbol changed from the hand to a chair and now a bulath kole! What a joke this is not the original party the SLFP which came up with the Sinhala Buddhist placard! When we were kids we used to argue “without the hand you cannot do anything!” Another would argue even if you have the hand you cannot open a door without a key, others would even say even to wash your backside you need a hand!! Therefore a ‘party notion’ is in a child’s mentality! We need Statesmen who would do away with symbols of power and concentrate on policies for Yahapalanaya (good governance)! Mr. President, I do hope you act like a Statesman and will not let us down, the people of this country who are anxiously waiting for a Yahapalanaya not necessarily in 100 days but at least in a few years! Lee Kuan Yew did not do it in 100 days, it took him a hell of a lot of years to change the system!!!

well written ! Yes we do not need a 100 day program..let it take time… IF we the people could wait 10 years or more under MR rule we sure can wait a few months or even years..SO LONG MR and his cronies do NOT get nominations….A law should have been brought into all parties to the effect, that anyone found guilty or even charged with a criminal case should NEVER be given nominations…

RE: To Be Or Not To Be With The Party The Million Dollar Dilemma!

To Be Or Not To Be The traitor to 6,200,000 is The Million Dollar Dilemma!

So, Maitripala Sirisena became the spineless wimp and coward and became the traitor to 6,200,000 people. Shame on you Sirisena, Shame on you.

Sirisena is now damaged along with his party of crooks, robbers and criminals.

Now we understand why he wanted to stop the arrests of crooks by police.

To Be Or Not To Be With The Party The Million Dollar Dilemma!

To Be Or Not To Be The traitor to 6,200,000 is The Million Dollar Dilemma!

U-Turn? If True very good news Maitripala Sirisena becomes a Leader and a Statesman

        Through the grape wine…..

Not only tyrannical Mahinda but even his corrupt minions in the queue will not get nominations : President Maithri re -confirms!

President Maithripala re affirmed and re confirmed that Medamulana Percy Mahendra Rajapakse who only deserves an ignominious place in the Guinness book of records as the worst liar and tyrannical ruler in the world responsible to disgrace and degrade the country on an unprecedented level will not be granted nominations . Even those minions who are propping and prodding him will not get nominations , said President Maithripala who was steered to victory on the 8 th of January by the people who risked their lives to accomplish that for Maithripala and elect a government of good governance. It is a pity even now the deposed people discarded ex president who is considered by one and all as fast gravitating towards the grave and a spent force is despite his acute senile decay mentally and physically is engaging in most treacherous manipulations to wrest nominations from president Maithripala.

The president gave this unequivocal confirmation when he met with the leaders of the people’s forces today (noon) who were ready to sacrifice their lives to earn him victory on 8 th January.. The president met with these patriotic forces at a venue that cannot be disclosed.(Names of the leaders who participated shall be revealed later )

Following a lengthy discussion , the president has stated in no uncertain terms that not only Mahinda , even those minions who are queued up behind him , the notorious corrupt crooked scoundrels who were responsible to devastate the SLFP party will not be given nominations.’ ‘Even if my hand is severed I shall not grant nominations to the corrupt’ were the words used by the president.

        Accordingly, the following :
        Mahinda Rajapakse
        Namal Rajapakse
        Basil Rajapakse
        Mahindananda Aluthgamage
        Dilan Perera
        Sajin Vaas Gunawardena
        Rohitha Abeygunawardena
        S.M. Chandrasena
        T.B. Ekanayake
        Duminda Silva
        Mervyn Silva
        Lakshman Vasantha Perera
        Dhanasiri Amaratunge
        Jonstan Fernando

are the corrupt politicos who will not be getting nominations under SLFP.

It is significant to note that Susil Premajayantha the UPFA general secretary , even though is a bootlicking shameless stooge of the Rajapakses , he has no powers to sign for the nominations alone. In the circumstances , his statement yesterday that all the parliamentarians will be given nominations is based on his day dream.

Desperate and dejected Mahinda who got wind of this is now frantically seeking to take refuge in Dinesh’s MEP party and its symbol , the wheel , or Wimal Weerawansa’s NFF party and its ‘panchayudha’ symbol . He is now having discussions on this.

At the same time , according to the memorandum of understanding signed between president Maithripala and Ranil Wickremesinghe , anybody who is not granted nomination under the SLFP will not be given nomination under the UNP too. In any case , the UNP executive committee and Ranil Wickremesinghe have already decided that nominations shall not be granted to politicos facing charges of corruption.

6.2 million people rallied together to bring about a decisive change in the country successfully .Today this number has risen phenomenally – not diminished. It is the people’s apirations and cherished aim that the government shall be anti corrupt , development and good governance prone . No mafia boss , no godfather , no selfish opportunistic or thug of a ruler can oppose this force.

I agree totally with you, as you said “a law should have been brought into all parties to the effect, that anyone found guilty or even charged with a criminal case should NEVER be given nominations…”

MR had a case against him related to the ‘Helping Hambantota’ funds which MR tried to swindle placing the money in his private bank account and he got caught. Only because he was contesting for Presidency the case was not taken up and in the end we had a criminal in charge of a country and he had the opportunity to steal the entire country with his presidential immunity to protect him and we all know and that is history.

Had the court stopped MR from contesting until his name was cleared on the ‘Help Hambantota’ scam Sri Lanka would not have experienced misery for the past 10 years.

The election laws should be enacted in a way to prevent a person who has been found guilty by a legally constituted court from being given be given nomination, and also that if an MP from one party crises to another, to be not given nomination, unless he/ she resigns from the seat and is selected by the other party to re-contest the same seat again.
The whole principle behind it is the ordinary voter should not feel betrayed. Such a requirement would be a way to prevent abuse of the trust placed by the voter who used his/her franchise to vote. for a particular party which has that in it’s manifesto as a pledge to legislate it into law when elected to hold office.

This is a hard question for those who have no ethics or integrity. For those who put truth, integrity and decency above all else will eventually prevail. The VOTERS must be trained to take full control and they must know who is reliable and honest and who is not. To me, who jumps from one party to another is unreliable: he seeks only his benefits.

    PROF HARENDRA DE SILVA,
YOUR TONE SHOWS THAT YOU ARE IN A STATE OF A TEMPESTUOUS FURY. AT OUR AGE , WHEN WE HAVE GREY HAIRS, IT IS NOT WORTH EXPERIENCING SUCH MOODS.IT ONLY AFFECTS OUR HEALTH. A PERSON WITH HIGH QUALIFICATIONS LIKE YOU, WHO HAS TRAVELED EXTENSIVELY AND LIVED ABROAD ALSO, PROBABLY , STAND OUT AS A MAN OF EXPERIENCE WITH A LOT OF VIRTUES. WITH THAT EXPERIENCE WHEN YOU ADDRESS THE “85” AS HOOLIGANS ETC, IT DOES NOT SET A GOOD EXAMPLE. AS STATED IN “ASHTALOKA DHARMA CHAKRA(THE EIGHT WORLDLY CONDITIONS OR VICISSITUDES OF LIFE)COMMON TO ALL HUMAN BEINGS, W/O ANY EXCEPTION, WE ALL HAVE EXPERIENCED IN DIFFERENT PROPOTIONS, ” GAIN AND LOSS,FAME AND DEFAME,PRAISE AND BLAME AND HAPPINESS AND PAIN.”

THE POPULAR VIEW IS THAT A DRASTIC CHANGE TO THE VALUE SYSTEM OF OUR COUNTRY TOOK PLACE IN 1977(THE SUDDEN INTRODUCTION OF AN OPEN ECONOMY,) AFTER THE 1978 CONSTITUTION, THE FALSE REFERENDUM FOR THE THEN PRESIDENT TO STAY IN POWER ( WHERE EVEN THE OPPONENT KOBBEKADUWA’S VOTE HAD BEEN CAST,) WITH RETROACTIVE LEGISLATION TAKING AWAY MADAM BANDARANAIKE’S CIVIC RIGHTS, BRIBES BECOMING COMMISSIONS, THE GOVT ARMING THE CIVILIANS ETC & THE LIST WILL GO ON & ON.

WHEN WE WERE LITTLE, MESSRS MONNEKULAME & MARIKAR WENT TO JAIL AS THEY DID NOT KNOW THE WAY TO ACCEPT A BRIBE IN THE WAY OTHERS DID . WHEN D.S.SENANAYAKE USED HIS POWER TO RECOMMEND THE SON TO SUCCEED HIM BEFORE HIS DEATH ABOVE 2 SENIOR MINISTERS AND HAD CLOSEST RELATIVES HOLDING SEVERAL PORTFOLIOS THAT WAS NOT NEPOTISM. DURING WAR DAYS WHEN SO CALLED INFLUENTIAL SINHALESE WHILE DOING CIVIL DEFENSE WORK “EXTORTED” CROWN LAND IN PARK RD AREA, RATMALANA, RAJAGIRIYA, ORUGODAWATTE ETC THAT WAS NOT CONSIDERED EXTORTION AND PLUNDERING.WHEN INFLUENTIAL GOVERNMENT SERVANTS USED STATE VEHICLES AND KABOK SOIL TO FILL LOW LYING LARGE WANATHAMULLA FIELD AND CONSTRUCT “THE OVAL” , NOBODY QUESTIONED.WHEN VERY RICH SAYYA MUDALALI’S SON MR N.H. KEERTHIRATNE CONTESTED DODANGASLANDA SEAT IN THE STATE COUNCIL AGAINST DUDLEY SENANAYAKE, SIR JOHN KOTHALAWALA HAD USED THUGS AND VIOLENCE TO PREVENT PEOPLE FROM VOTING AND DISTRIBUTING THE MANIFESTOS HOUSE TO HOUSE. THEN SAYYA MUDALALI HIRED A HELICOPTER TO DISTRIBUTE THE PAPERS FROM THE AIR. WHO WAS PUNISHED? IN 1947 WHEN REV. WALPOLA RAHULA AND 2 OTHER PRIESTS WERE DRAGGED OUT OF A VEHICLE AND ATTACKED BY UNP THUGS AT THORANA JUNCTION…5TH MILE POST OF KANDY ROAD …AS THEY SUPPORTED AN LSSP CANDIDATE, WERE THE ATTACKERS EVER PROSECUTED?

PROF. DE SILVA, I WROTE THE ABOVE FOR US NOT TO FORGET THAT THAT IS OUR LEGACY. OUR DECENT WEAPONS ARE ONLY THE VOTE, APPOINTING GOOD PEOPLE AS LEADERS AND EDUCATING THE MASSES. THERE IS NO OTHER WAY. NOBODY COULD POINT OUT THAT THERE ARE BETTER PEOPLE ON ONE SIDE, MERELY BECAUSE THEY DO MUSICAL CHAIRS. MR GAMINI SENEVIRATNE , CCS , RETIRED,ONCE WROTE THAT SIR BARON JAYATILAKE WAS THE LAST STATESMAN IN SL POLITICS(D.1944.)

    THANKS.

Appreciate your comments. Most of the people write and comment on CT think Sri Lanka political history start at 2005. They were not going to 1940s as you. But not even to 1977.

Last 8am on the CT articles, I didn’t read any nepotism of UNP leadership, even we everyone know relationship of JR and RW and groom up of RW into UNP leadership. When green’s doing things it is for democracy but when others do the same it nepotism and black black. ….

And see how Ruwan Wijewardena is groomed by the Wijaya news papers. Aifter Ranil Wickramsignhe it will be Ruwan’s term to lead UNP. No wonder it was called “Unge Nayange Pakshaya” (Kith and Kin’s party).

In my opinion we are giving too much priority to Mahinda than concentrating on the subject. Our objective is good governance, rule of law, creation of civilised society, corruption free administration, freedom, welfare of people and justice to all. Mahinda is a drama creator, good actor and schemer. He is an evil, a monster and a dangerous creature. We should focus on investing on people rather than investing on Mahinda. Whether he contest or not is a matter, telling the truth to the people and trusting the people will eliminate this evil from this land completely.

If Maithri Sirisena gets an alliance going with the JHU (who have been one of the more honest groups)and with those who originally crossed with Maihri, plus “some credible Tamil and Muslim leaders, they will attract more votes than the Rajapaksa faction. The UNP will win, but also, the JVP, who will contest separately, will also be a force to reckon with.

MaRa will have far fewer supporters in August than in January; he will have to give nomination to all his thieves and thugs – which will lessen his chances of winning. Those MPs are loathed by the people. On the other hand Maithri’s coalition has a few profile members (Can I now not count Champika R.) who will attract support. The problem for them is that they do not have organisational structures throughout the country. However, one hears it said almost daily now, that the Maithri faction has been interviewing prospective candidates for the elections in August.

I think that I was right in what I’ve been saying for the past month: the nominations will decide the outcome of the elections.

i wonder why Sirisena has allowed nomination for Rajapaksa. I don’t think it is to do with his loyalty to the SLFP or the UPFA. He must have something up his sleeve or he has gone bonking mad. It will be interesting to see how many of the thieves in the Rajapaksa circle he allows to contest on the UPFA ticket.

Just think non of of them getting nomination! But person like Madamulana Chinthaka will be easily catch not only UPFA new faces, but also some of UNP heavyweight unless otherwise if yahapalana guys not doing what Ajith says in previous comment.

Further talking about yahapalanaya and appointing world famous suchritha guys like our finance minister and central bank governor too encourage Madamulana Chinthaka….

May be MS got billions from MR’s loot. There is no other explanations for this. He is not insane to think of the party before 6.2 million voters. Like all corrupt ones he pretends to be a hermit and selfless etc but he must have got a colossal amount to give him nominations

Professor is spot on. Talking of what DS, JR or anyone else did is immaterial to the present ‘problem’ the country has. On Jan the 8th the voters have identified the problem i.e MR and his crooks/hooligans, but unfortunately either the president is incapable of controlling the hooligans (I personally believe he is good person but is spineless) or has done the biggest betrayal in Sri Lankan history. Either way it is now up to the electorate. I hope Sobitha thero and the other patriots with no political agenda wolud get back on stage again to save the country.

Prof. Harendra De Silva – Can understand your anger over the ‘great
somersault of the century’ the president recently performed. As per
the media reports,he had a lengthy meeting with the high commissioner of India and the letter from the Secretary of UPFA was released just after the meeting and no one knows yet, what was the purpose of the meeting and what was the outcome of it. This meeting, probably has some connection with the recent visit by Premjayant, secretary UPFA
to London. You also must have read media reports that MR praised India to the hilt in his very latest statement, which is something unusual to come from a retired President. We cannot find fault with the president without knowing the reason for his “U” turn, forgetting all his principles and promises given to the people who elected him to safeguard democracy, until we hear from him.
There had been certainly some arm twisting by some powerful force and
we have to wait until the President delivers his reason for the change
of mind, to judge his character. He has upset the whole nation with
his sudden change and perhaps the cause may be that India does not favour a UNP govt.as they are pro. West and also PM Ranil of UNP had categorically denied unlawful entry into territorial waters of Sri Lanka by the Indian fishermen to rob fish and he even threatened to shoot them. This problem has become an big issue now in India as fish businessmen in Tamil Nadu are all powerful and will not settle down without permission to poach in Sri Lankan waters. The honeymoon period is over for BJP and they need the help of Tamil Nadu to form the next govt.,as Jaya has around 40 Federal seats. BJP support is dwindling and the opposition has even demanded that the resignation of some ministers on corruption charges. All is not going well with
    BJP in India.

One wonders as to why the president is maintaining stoic silence
when the media and the TVs and prime times are all available for him to explain to the people, as President of this country, as to what his plans are, for the forth coming election.

In light of typically shameful Lankan culture of generational and inherited legacy of nepotism, bribery and corruption et. al (worse than the other average country), the One and Only thing for Sri Lanka to avoid is the flooding in of foreign investment with Chinese and other projects, and even US ones (like Greece was with the Euros )……., especially the Chinese projects via US $$. For large amounts of the US$$ (courtesy of Chinese projects), will end up in the US and West, with Lankan fellows buying positions in US private multi-national corporations (anyway, hope some of the profits will trickle back to Sri Lanka).

But to stop once and for all, for the sake of future Lankan generations, the circuitous route of Lankan money that might trickle back again to Sri Lanka, Sirisena should implement the austerity measures of the Yahapalanaya concept with greatest resolve and tenacity. The only thing bad about Rajapaksa becoming PM is that he will resuscitate the Chinese projects deals minus the Yahapalanaya mechanism. But otherwise, for country unity and confidence Rajapaksa is most imperative.

Professor has good memory but it is the shadow of amnesia.
In the last election, SLFP (UPFA) contested under Old King. Other-than-SLFP-collusion contested as CC under New King. After the victory, New King captured the (SLFP and UPFA) party too. The victory to new King came from areas where there are no SLFP (north-east) base. But, the party leadership was given to New King, on the basis of he won the election. In other words, the non SLFPyers decided who has to lead SLFP. Well, I see the problem is fixed now. SLFP has returned to its heart land. New King has said that he recruited old king to defeat the UNP.
In reality, it is a Bismarck (German) strategy. First he wanted EP post. He asked Old King. It did not come forth. He made union with other unknown angels. He blamed Old King is known as dangerous devil. Then the unknown angel won the election. Then he made union with the known devil and defeating the unknown angels. That is just a known strategy in war and politics, not a new one. But the question is, is there any honesty in that explanation” that he took Old King to defeat Ranil Mahata. Then the question arise if so, is it true that he was not fighting for the Yahapalayana, but straggling with his own aspirations to become EP? Not so! He wants the others to think like that. He wants them to think him as a unscrupulous, Sinhala Intellectual politician. So he came out with the well-fitting story of now he is no longer thinks that old King is Known devil, but as Ranil Mahata still is an unknown angel, he is the one no longer desirable.

We can come back to that. That is the topic we are going to comment at the end too.

But why did the New King let others to purposefully think that he is bad? That is another question we need to answer too. Yet see this sentence from our professor. He took a bold step but he would have been ashes if not for the support of firstly the digruntled people and then those who crossed over with him including Rajitha a main architect, Champika and Ven Rathana, Arjuna, and the others. It is here the professor taking a series of missteps on his argument. First, New King wanted the EP, not Ranil and others did not want the EP but wanted to offer him the EP. That was a funny notion assumed by professor when he describes “Somebody invited New King to become EP”. The rice mill thief when realized enough files have been collected against him,(some includes about Health Ministry too) ran out of the camp with the files he collected against the Old King. Then tit for tat balanced, they two came for an agreement of not to hurt each other by releasing the others’ secrets.

The aimless CC promoters kept telling that worse is better than worst, so they wanted to go for worse. But that was not the story in the North-East. This unknown angel was portrayed as a guardian angel in the North by TNA. So Tamils were told to vote for this New King (the newly created Guardian angel) by TNA propaganda only. Part of the Tamil claimed that he is terrible war criminal and a cheater. But TNA won on the rosy picture painting deed. But the rosy picture painting did not work in south. Sinhalese rejected him. But, Tamils made him as the EP

Now the betrayal cry is coming from those who wanted the worse. That is from the south. It is not from Tamils. Tamils did know that the Guardian Angel that they were voting is only the father of all Lankan army (the defense minister) who even killed the white flag surrenders. . They never ever had any hope on this man. They voted only because TNA said so. That TNA believes is on their instinct. That’s it. While betrayal crying is coming from south, North-east is keeping its cool. It is no longer worried about the Old Devil coming back. Because, though it voted, but it was not interested in sending home the Old King and bringing the new King to power.

So, when professor cries about the betrayal, he is not correct. Further though it could have happned that New King might have become ashes, but it is also subject to other points. The new King was with the Old King. Then, he was with Ranil Mahata, then again with Old King. Why should we have to think that the same thing would not have happened if he loses too? He knows to adjust and Old King knows to accommodate criminals and enemies by getting hold on their loin. Other than Tamils, Old has not reduced his enemies to ashes. He would not do that for 6.2 million just because he did it to 145,000 Tamils. Even if the new King was saved from the ashes, it is not the protectors professor is suggesting saved the New King. First South rejected the “unknown angel propaganda”. That is, they were not betrayed; they did not want the Unknown Angel, the new king. It is TNA wanted him. So it was Tamils who are one of the parties who saved him. The other is Secretary John Kerry. It was he who stopped the coup (if it was a real story) on the January 9thmorning and chased the Old King out of the Temple Tree House.

That is why New King is trying to show him the criers of betrayal, the he really betrayed them. Here is a complex situation. He has an obligation to fulfill to America. He does not want to go against China or go with America. The courage-less person is not ready to go against America either. He took back Old King because the party is still with Old King. Otherwise he will be a party-less person. So he is lying as he is only against UNP. But the truth is he used America and others to grab the power, the same way Old King used America and others to win the war. He is in situation, if he is not fulfilling the obligation to America, he too has to run away from Temple Tree House. This is only way he not fulfill the obligation to America and at the same time to hold on to his president house too.

It is totally in keeping with the innate modesty of my old school mate, that he neither calls himself ‘Dr’ or ‘Professor’, just as much as it takes the president of this country to shy away from being addressed as ‘His Excellency’. These are signs of the modern professional be it in medicine or politics.

Harendra has said a hell of a lot in his short essay and judging from the responses, people agree whenever common sense and the truth is spoken or written.

Let more of the educated professionals write to these spaces. Let us hear more of them and from them, and less of and from the vermin, be they Mervins or otherwise!

I thought that profesors was evidence based. Professor Harendra proves otherwise. He called MR many names and he has the right to say what he wants. But as a Professor I thought that he will write with more restraint. Above all punish the culprits and call them all the names if it satisfies you, but it must be evidence base and proved.

I just want to say that Prof Harendra De Silva’s view is perhaps the view of about 60 lakhs of People who voted for MS. About 2 months ago MS was the most popular person in Sri Lanka as 62 lakhs liked him and loved him. 58 lakhs who voted for MR hated him. Today with the belief that MS may give nominations to MR&Company 60 lakhs hate him while 58 lakhs still do not love him and about 50 lakhs still hate him and now he has 110 lakhs who hate him or at least dislike him. Who else in Sri Lanka can be more unpopular?? Is it worth all that just to save a traditional political party? Can anyone imagine how fast can one loose popularity? Perhaps in Sri Lanka’s history this is the fastest record of anybody losing popularitye MS has to think

  • 0
    0

What you all forget is MS we voted in left us high and dry and joined a party that promoted his opposing candidate MR. So he has actually left us 62mil voters the day he crossed from being cc to being the chair of UPFA.

Once he is there he has duties not really to is but to that party and it’s members. MS IS trying very hard not be the defato leader of SLFP at which he is failing. Obviously he doesn’t belong there!

While being there he can’t take care of is 62 voters but have to look after 58 voters, it’s leaders duty after all. So we can’t blame him working for the betterment of his party.

What should have been done was him getting out of the party letting MR keep it and him being the apolitical president that he promised. I serialy doubt MS intentions and affliTilns and personal vandetta
