Am not at all a person who uses social media to express views or thoughts in lengthy status messages but I feel that sadly today it has come to a point where I feel at least I have to voice out my thoughts on the same platforms that my family is getting character assassinated on.
I have seen many articles circulated all around social media about my father for a very long time but for the first time I feel I need to intervene and speak out cause this particular time it is a malicious constant attack on his character that is orchestrated by others who aim to achieve other things trying to make my father a fall man.
I see everyone very easily resharing content on many pages on social media but all have only one name. My father’s name. Does everyone really believe for the last couple years everything in the government is just one man and that we have been getting hit cause we deserve it or that maybe there is a pattern to this madness now?
I know that when situations arise we all want to get to the bottom of things and find someone responsible for it but are you sure that all the sites carry facts or have you ever thought that this could be well planned and paid attempts from others in politics who would need to cover up their sins by directing all negative attention to one man?
Everyone is entitled to freedom of speech but with freedom of speech also comes the responsibility to know all the true facts and figures and not only the damaging views that are paid to catch on to all.
I cannot change everyone’s opinions about how you see my family but I respectfully just ask you to think before you fall prey to these well paid character assassins targeting just one man constantly.
I have learnt bitterly over the years that politics is a dirty game and some in it will stop at nothing to achieve the individual goals no matter who they hurt along the way.
So if you have actually taken time to read through this fully all I want to ask you at the end is please think. Thinking can one man do everything all the time? Can one man always be doing these things jus to get negative publicity or is he actually being framed and made to be the fall man again and again?
Please all I ask you is to think before you form a one sided opinion cause again like I have learnt the hard ways politics is not how it appears to be. Think if you have all the facts cause I know that you will be surprised if you really sit to think whats going on.
Just ask yourself? Why only one man’s name comes up all the time in such a huge government?
Again everyone is free to think how they see it from the facts they have but I have now given you a small view from my family’s side. So please just open your eyes and think a little because in this instance its not any commission but the media and the public that has been the judge, jury and executioner.
Like my father said after visiting the commission that day and coming out:
“I can accept the spearing of an enemy’s arrow but the pin pricking of friends is much more hurtful.”

Your father is an elected official. Elected officials and their families are given significant privileges by society and as such, are should be held to a high level of scrutiny. Especially if they use the privileges extended by society for personal gain.
This piece sounds like an entitled child feeling offended that they’re being punished for doing something wrong.

What has this apartment got to do with the bond case ? Now no one talks about the two – Mahendran and Aloysius. It’s all about Ravi and the Penthouse.

Many politicians names come up in question any given time of the year. As part of the public who voted to put them in power, it is our right to raise the name of elected officials and question their actions and decisions. It may not always seem like it, but this is a democracy and we, the voting and tax paying public deserve the right to demand clarity from our nations leaders, if nothing else. We are playing our part as civil society.
This morning I was thinking that by next week, some other Hon. Minister’s dirty laundry might be on the front pages of the news paper and we will move on from your dad’s inept governance to bemoan some other buffoon’s mismanagement.
Instead of pointing out that the stories are part of some other party’s intention to make your pops the fall guy, why don’t you shed some light on what ACTUALLY happened?
As you can tell, we’d really like to know.

If i was RK i would have told the Bond Commission YES the apartment belongs to my spouse and daughter. Also we have known Arjun Aloysius, Anika and Wijesuriya family for a pretty long time and have made frequent trips to Singapore together.
Surely this is no big deal when the Real Sharks are making hay while the sun is shining! Its been almost 30 months nothing is happening to the former regime family and its cronies.

Nobody begrudges the elected one the rewards of office, but not when that position is abused for mischief at the expense of WE The People. If you say your father is innocent and has been “framed” or “scapegoat”, why don’t you also state WHY??? It is impossible to believe in what you say, unless some degree of facts from “your end” are given. I too did not realize that your father was “bad”, but after his statement about not knowing who took care of the rent for the apartment he stayed for 9 whole months made me think otherwise. In my opinion, you are trying to protect him for just only one single reason, because he is your father. I believe I have a legitimate right to make a comment being the counsel of the 1st case filed against the then central bank governor arjun mahendran and arjuna alocius.We were successful to issue notices to the the above named partiea and reveal the matter to the general public which to my recollection was in march 2015.It clearly could be seen the hand behind ain’t only RK since by the time the deal occurred the PM had taken over the finance ministry so it is clear the hand behind extending the bond values from 1 billion and also forcing the EPF to buy the bonds was not within the powers of the then governor or not only RK who was not functioning as the finance minister by the time the deal occurred.It clearly seems RK has been made the scape goat to draw away the attention by probably allowing him to taste the left overs of the scam.
