An unclassified US diplomatic cable dated September 13, 2007 shows the President of Sri Lanka Mahinda Rajapaksa has travelled to US with a Teleprompt Operator. The Colombo Telegraph found the related leaked cable from the WikiLeaks database and the cable is signed by the US Ambassador to Colombo Robert Blake.

such a sad state.. when some one takes side to mud sling at another for politcs.. there are fools like u lot who just cant keep the trap shut and jump it to it head over heels.
We should be proud that he can talk say 90% english and use teleprompt.
can chinese prsident talk even that..so are many world leaders.
Coming from village and challanging colombo educated ranil is just a nother victory.
we should not be shamed if we cant speak a secomd lang.i am sure those of you can not speak or write your mother tounge 100%
