Sri Lanka Security Forces Rape, Torture Tamil Detainees – HRW

Sri Lanka’s security forces have used rape to torture and extract confessions from suspected Tamil separatists almost four years after the country’s civil war ended, Human Rights Watch (HRW) said in a report on Tuesday, the Reuters reports.
According to the Reuters, The rights group documented 75 cases of predominately Tamil men and women who said they were held in Sri Lankan detention centres and repeatedly raped and sexually abused by the military, police and intelligence officials.
Sri Lanka Security forces fared better than Jimmy Saville amd the Catholic Church priests.

Either listen to UNHRC and accomodate everybody including moderate TNA and opposition parties, minority groups and parties, trade unions etc, and deliver justice, freedom, democracy and human rights to all people……..or wait until a bigger International terror outfit to attack Sri Lanka with bigger vengeance, so nobody including MR will survive.
Country is already sinking both economically, politically, racially and among religion groups and already half submerged.
The choice is upto MR and his blind buffalo goons to decide.

Although I hated LTTE, you never heard that LTTE soldiers raped or tortured any soldier whom they caught in the battle field. In fact as long as LTTE was there, the civilians in rest of SRi Lanka enjoyed justice. Since they have gone, justice in rest of SRi Lanka has also vanished. Were they the gate keepers of SRi Lanka?

WOW…. That was a fresh thought. If LTTE chose to attack a school or a residential area, 100s would have died. LTTE attacked those places and more in the past. They tried to be a genuine entity, which brought them the down fall.
