Additional Secretary To Women’s Affairs Ministry Supports Rohingya Carnage

Despite worldwide condemnations against the violence unleashed on the Rohingya people including women and children, a senior official attached to Sri Lanka’s Ministry of Women’s Affairs has openly expressed her support to the ongoing violence by sharing memes on her personal Facebook page.

Just hours after thugs and monks stormed the UN safe house in Mount Lavinia, (Ms.) Ashoka Alawatte, the Additional Secretary (Development) at the Ministry of Women’s Affairs has shared a meme which shows Aung San Suu Kyi, the head of Myanmar’s government saying she will not bow down her head to international pressure and she will defeat Rohingya terrorism. The meme in Sinhalese also goes on to approve the ongoing carnage saying; “here’s a real woman, who is better than a thousand spineless men.”

A Facebook user who saw the post expressed his shock, saying that this was highly unbecoming from a government official and that too from a woman who is attached to the women’s affairs ministry, who is openly supporting the killings of women and children in Myanmar.

Meanwhile, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) today expressed its concern and alarm at yesterday’s incident at the refugee shelter which housed mostly women and children.

Meanwhile there has been no official statement or condemnation from the government even though it has been over 24 hours since the incident in Mount Lavinia took place. However, Finance Minister Managala Samaraweera and Health Minister Rajitha Senaratne had condemned the incident on a personal capacity. Sagala Ratnayaka, the minister of law and order is yet to issue a statement on the incident. Despite the lawlessness by the monks and the thugs, the police yesterday did not arrest a single monk or thug for their unruly behavior.

All these are the same. Most that left srilanka for the west at the time civil war broke their lives are all not LTTE supporters.

But for most idiotic sinahal buddhists, they cant differentiate it.

So as the case with Rohinjya people. Most that leave the country for other destinations are all not terrorists.

This woman with oxford qualifications should learn to differentiate else, for purpose the woman spent that long in jail seeking a democracy for her folks. She is no means comparable to the vision of Nelsen Mandela in terms of her humanitaring thinking.

This is not Buddhism, more like barbaric inhuman behavior!!?

Are we witnessing the birth and cultivation of Sri Lankan Sinhale Buddhist Terrorism!?

Where are the true Majority Sinhale Buddhists who should outnumber this minority of Sinhala Buddhist Extremists/Terrorists 10/1 who should be standing up against these misleading forces that aim to destroy Buddhism and this beautiful country!?

Stand up to misinformation and terrorism before it grows out of control and destroys our nation…

Ms. Ashoka Alawatte, the Additional Secretary (Development) at the Ministry of Women’s Affairs ,

RE: Your Supports of Rohingya Carnage,
“The meme in Sinhalese also goes on to approve the ongoing carnage saying; “here’s a real woman, who is better than a thousand spineless men.”
(Ms.) Para-Ashoka Alawatte, to begin with , what is your IQ? Is it close to the national average the Para Sinhala especially Para-Siinhala “Buddhists”?

What did the ENLIGHTENED BUDDHA say to ANANDA on WOMEN, especially, IGNORANT and STUPID women like you?

AVOID THEM AND KEEP AWAY FROM THEM.

Unfortunately the Para-Sinhala “Buddhists” from Bengal, Kalinga-Orissa, and Bihar, now calling themselves Siinhal Buddists are showing their selfishness to their OWN Para-Bengalis, called Rahingiyas, because they were separated from the other Bengalis, by the British Imperialists, when they withdrew.

Ignorant, (Ms.) Para-Ashoka Alawatte, look yourself in the mirror and see how different you are compared to the Rohingyas? Now much. Any difference is due to the South Indian Tamil genes.

Ms. Para-Ashoka Alawatte, they all are Paras, Para-Bengalis, just like the Para-Sinhala Bengalis and Biharis who came by iIlegal Boats, Kalla Thonis, Hora Orus 2,500 years to cause havoc and destroy the environment of the Pristine Land of the Native Veddah Aethho.
The Para-Sinhala and the Para-Rohingas have more or less the same Bengali genetics. The only difference is that for the Para-Sinhala they have more South Indian genetics.

What are you protesting about? The Para Sinhala “Buddhist” Monks?
Mitochondrial DNA history of Sri Lankan ethnic people: their relations within the island and with the Indian subcontinental populations.

I don’t think a government official at her level can express her opinions in this manner. The secretary of Women’s Affairs Ministry must investigate her. The least she deserves is an official reprimand.

Why all this ado. The Majority has the right the to safeguard itself from the minority. If these slaves demand any human rights or any other rights, brand them as a terrorist and annihilate as much as possible. Our mindset is that and nothing is wrong. We did it, why not other states do it.

It’s prfectly possible that the said Edward Ponniah is indulging in sarcasm – in other words this must be satire. But obviously this Ashoka woman is saying what she feels.

Are you shocked? I am not. Just too old. I know that there are far too many nasty people like this. But their existence makes me angry.

Let’s be happy that Mangala Samaraweera made a strong statement, and wasn’t there some other Minister?

edward ponniah, you sound just like a terrorist who enjoys terrorizing minorities and calling people slaves…

You are far worse that the supposed white man who people like you hate so much…

Now you see it is nothing to do with black, white, religion, nationality or ethnicity!!

Some people are just evil like you who think the way you do that is the problem with the world today!!

You sound just like the evil you claim to be protecting this country from!?

Can’t you see the implications of what you are saying!!?

This woman’s a pathetic excuse for a human bieng! Clearly the govt should act to sack her from her post since her mentality poses a danger to women and children! But then again yahapalana is known for bieng spineless and sympathetic to buddist fanatics so her being removed would be a shocker all by itself. The international community should look no further as to why the tamils should get a autonomous state of their own in the north.

Ignorant Para-Ashoka Alawatte, -“Aung San Suu Kyi, the head of Myanmar’s government saying she will not bow down her head to international pressure and she will defeat Rohingya terrorism.” is because she is under the military and she has to do what the military says.

What is that Sri Lanka always appoints ministers and secretaries whop are ignorant stupid and display their stupidity so well? Is it because they are Paras from Bengal?

Stupid Para -Ashoka Alawatte, to begin with the so-called Rohinga crisis goes back to the British , Yes British from around 1947 or 1948, and that separated the Bengali Rohingya and put them in Burma. Ignorant Para -Ashoka Alawatte, have you heard about the Sykes-Picot Agreement that divided the Middle East on a piece of paper. What about Sri Lanka, with independence, without a Federal Structure, which the Paras are still grappling with after a 30-year Para war?

The Para-Sinhala and the Rohingya are Bengali para in the Land of natice Veddah Aethho. Both came by Illegal Boats, Hora-Oru, Kalla- Thonis. Only 2,500 years separates them, but the Para-Sinhala have done a lot of damage to the pristine land of Native Veddah Aethho.

Above all she is a government servant and it is shocking to see her rude and offensive comments. We must defend the rights of the down trodden and marginalised irrespect of their race or religion. In fact those fleeing persecution on grounds of religion or race deserve compassion.

I agree with Thanga. In any civilized country, a govt. official uttering such remarks would be sacked immediately. Student,

What is your IQ? Well below 79? Just curious!

National IQ Scores – Country Rankings

      https://photius.com/rankings/national_iq_scores_country_ranks.html

The intelligence scores came from work carried out earlier this decade by Richard Lynn, a British psychologist, and Tatu Vanhanen, a Finnish political scientist, who analysed IQ studies from 113 countries, and from subsequent work by Jelte Wicherts, a Dutch psychologist.

Countries are ranked highest to lowest national IQ score.

      Rank
      ——– Country
      ———————– %
      ————-
      1 Singapore 108
      2 South Korea 106
      3 Japan 105
      28 Sri Lanka 79

You are missing the point. ‘Rohingya terrorism’ as you imply is not a reason for mass murder & destruction of villages.

Student you have lot to learn. She is a government servant she cannot do politics in the office, first quit the job then go to Myanmar and hold stand by Aung San Suu Kyi to kill innocents. Also, don’t forget to learn what really happening inside Burma not what ASSK says.

Either she is an ignorant, uneducated woman, or she is a racist with no heart and soul.

    Maybe all of the above.

She must belong to an extremist group like the BBS or Sinhala Ravaya, because she
certainly has shown her admiration for a woman the entire world has condemned, for remaining dumb, while women and girls are being raped, men and boys killed brutally, as well as babies. She sides with the woman, who has not condemned the bloodshed, and wants to “investigate” while thousands flee for their lives.
She obviously does not care that the majority of refugees are unarmed, helpless civilians, and not a threat to anyone. An ill informed Sri Lankan official.

This Bengali refugees in Myanmar problem in Sri lanka is an older problem. Most probably, those days muslims writers were blaming BBS, venerable Ghanasara, talking about resettling muslims from north displaced for 27 years all targeting bringing those Myanmar muslims here. It is said, some of the bengali speaking myanmuslims coming to Sri lanka now are smuggled from India. Some of the earlier arrived muslims are schooling Galkissa, probably in other areas too. Refugees secretly can not be admitted to the school without the Minister of education knowing it, without the Western provincial council knowing it. Besides, higherup politicians in the horapalanaya should have got big political donations and probably western instructions too to create a backlash against the Myanmar govt. Some how it did not work. Muslim NGOs writing here are pissed off. Wilpattu problem should be created by muslim politicians in order to settle myanmar-muslims bringing here and settling in other areas. Similarly, the problem created for Ven ghanasara in Kurunegala should be another setup to vcover up. I am pretty sure, western NGOs, with the backing of western govts are behind too. but, the Sri lankan govt is not talking because of this everybody is very upset. that should be the true story.

Having dealt with refugee issues and immigration matters during my career the arrival of refugees can not be taken lightly. Once they land in the country officially it will not be a simple task sending them back to their originating point. This again shows the attitude of the authorities who are turning a blind eye to these sensitive issues in connivance with Muslim politicians who are supporting them for all shit and the international community.

This is good information to the Public Service Commission. Does it look after the discipline of the public servants? Can a public servant, displaying the official title, express views, particularly of this kind? The full gamut of the Rohingya issue is not known to us. However, what is clear is that many of them are escaping their land of birth due to some compelling reason and Sri Lanka has been civilized to grant temporary shelter whenever they are found stranded in the high seas by our Navy. To grant humanitarian assistance to such people with the help of the UNHCR is the done thing instead of poking fingures into the internal workings of a country. This lady in trying to show the courage of women against servile men, has done immense harm to the image of the country.

Its a shame on us 70% Buddhist country. Even if you inscribe it on a rock Buddhism will not flourish unless we practice what Buddha preached.

Ashoka is mapping out her development saying “I love seeing people in misery. I like to inflict more misery. I am Ambassador (to Myanmar) material. I can outdo Wimal. My problem is my girth.

    • 6
      0

Oh! Yes! (Mr./Ms.) Middeniya. This is exactly what I am trying to get at in my previous comment. This is hard evidence but the Administrative Service Goons in the Ministry of Public Administration will say that “It is not in writing. Where is the piece of paper?” in order to protect their lot. The ultimate disciplinary authority is the Public Service Commission, members of it being appointed by the Constitutional Council. In Singapore, facebook postings are enough even to raise contempt of court proceedings. This is the age of the electronic transaction where there is a specific law passed in Sri Lanka. So Facebook posting is a hard evidence. Over to you, the independent Public Service Commission.

I am all for ‘power to the people’ but the 1956 Pancha Maha Balavegaya was a half-cocked creation, that Banda opportunistically exploited, that has only led us on a downward spiral that has given us the execrable type I write of.

Ms Ashoka Alawatte says about Aung San Sui Kyi ~ “………here’s a real woman, who is better than a thousand spineless men.”
The violence relished by Ashoka was ordered by the Burmese Junta.
Ashoka does not know that Aung is a nobody – she has no official status. Aung certainly has no control over the Myanmar army or police.

The fault lies with the spineless leaders we have who behave as if there actions do not have a repercussion but to inflame communal animosity and suspicion. From a Sinhala Buddhist perspective there rights are undermined by a set of rulers who have in debted the country, Sold SL women to slavery and sexual exploitation in the ME, allowed the Saudis to build a University to produce extremist in batticoloa whilst starting his political campaign from a temple. The complaint never ends. Its this creation of insecurities that make some of the Buddhists what they are. The blame lies squarely on RW, MR and MS. These are the B………… who are ruining the peace in the country.

I have been a fan of CT for years and never thought they would publish this type of cheap news. Everyone has the right to have their opinion. This person has just shared a post from another fb page that talks against terrorism and women empowerment. There is no mentioning about Sri Lanka or about the mount lavinia incident at all. Lord Buddha was neither a Buddhist nor Sinhala. He was born by accident to Hindu parents, I understand. He never preached a new religion but he did say as to how humans being should conduct themselves. He never said” follow me”. People were taken up by his teaching and started gathering together which was not in any way against any existing religions. Religions were rather few, perhaps Hinduism,& Vaishnavaism were in existence. Therefore the followers had to give an identity and that was called Buddhism. Thus the trouble started not at the beginning of the naming but with the passage of time, when more religions were born. My contention is religion is not necessary for man but man is necessary for religions. Only then they can create dissension and discord among humans and Gods and go on killing spree. What a pity?
