Definitely Tamil LTTE Diaspora has tremendously progressed in digital technology. These doctored pictures look real. Did Kollywood help them to create these gory scenes and build the sets?

My gosh it would have cost them a fortune.

The Sri Lankan state has a thing or two to learn from them.

        Anarchism helps clarify matters.

For a second I try to do a Sinhala/Buddhist denier. After reading your comment it seems it backfired or did it?

Are you talking about the fake voice over by Sri Lankan government of the firing of nude captives? The Tamil language they used did not match the accent of ‘LTTE Tamil’first. The Sinhala journalists who brought the pictures out released the full vesrion of the tape. Sri Lankan regime 0 – Journalists 1

Channel 4 did not put any damn thing into context. They are just trying to be a catalyst for regime change in Sri Lanka.

they are not looking for a regime change. Regime change is the last thing they want.

The SL regime does not have a witness protection programme for the witnesses to come out openly and boldly to relate their experiences. Even a teleconference witness programme initiated during a govt appointed commission on the fatal murder of the five students was abruptly discontinued for fear of the evidence that was coming out. The commission’s report itself was never published.

The jokers who are pinning on the deeds of the LTTE are sorely misguided and confused. The issues that have been raised and are being raised are those with the murders and genocide of innocent civilians. It has been a consistent stand that it is not only the SL regime that stands accused of these horrific crimes but also the LTTE. With Karuna Amman, K Pathmanathan, Pillaiyan, in the “custody” of the SL regime it need not have to grope in the dark for the LTTE murderers, too. Why none of you are talking about that?

The dementia attitude of some of those who made the comment as to why some of the witnesses have to come out after so long and why it has to be close to the UNHRC sessions displays gross ignorance on their part. It can come out after ten or even twenty years, a crime is still a crime. This is a heinous crime and a war conducted without international witnesses. The devastation was colossal to the extent that Ban Ki Moon remarked that he had never witnessed such huge devastation in his entire life. How long did the SL legal system take to bring the murderers of Krishanti to book even after compelling evidence surfaced? What happened to the murder investigation of Lasantha? What happened to the numerous disappearances through your white vans? You may relish supporting a sick and heinous regime but when one day you become one of their statistics, I am very sure that you may not even live to tell your story. So, stop defending this regime that is taking everyone on a merry-go-round.

The question raised as to why such issues come alive during or nearing the UNHRC sessions is quite simple and yet these dumbheads, including Rambukwella had to pick on this. The UNHRC has only sessions at pre-determined specific periods. What these people are indirectly asking is why UNHRC is not holding sessions everyday. Laughable isn’t it? You cannot raise these issues in SL – the person raising it will vanish in thin air. So, many have been compiling in what has been an arduous task to tell the world what a ruthless and murderous regime is parading itself under a disguise as a humanitarian one. That mask is gone now and those who chose to defend it would have to realise that the times of “posturing” by the regime and those Sri Lankans supporting it have literally no say on how this regime has been dragged to answer for these horrific crimes. The ball is not in your court anymore much as you may shout at the top of your voice.

        Both Native and Jansee,

Leave alone VP son Balachandran’s shoting……how about Killing LTTEs Col. Ramesh and the rest of the One and half hour video footage and the UN on ground staff eye witness accounts of the war. Surely they are all not telling lies…….

I think after UNHRC session GOSL has only two options.

1)Agree to UNHR for a full investigation of war crimes so each party to conflict can reconcile and implement LLRC ASAP.

2)If GOSL does not agree to UNHR……..it will have to face the wrath of an International Terror attack starting from Cyber attack on SL websites, investments and banking sector, Investment, economic and trade boycott of Sri Lankan products, boycott of Sri Lankan sportsmen and sports events, attack on Sri Lankan foreign delegations, VIP offices, and an ultimate invasion of the country.

I don’t know if President Rajapakse is aware of these……if not it’s time to think serious and face these allegations bravely and prudently……and not blindly.

      Hello Native Vedda:

Oh, I am very, very glad that an expert has somewhat emerged from backwaters Sri Lanka (since the LTTE are digital technology experts) to just by sight and with his third eye can determine and dismiss the authenticity of the images. Now, rest Mahinda Rajapakse, your prodigal son “Native” will defend you at the UNHRC because with his expertise he is going to rubbish the images and prove that everything is a hoax. Thank you “Native” for your patriotism.

The war would have been water under the bridge if, Lasantha was not killed, IF Ekneligoda did not vanish IF , Sarath Fonseka was not tried in a Kangaroo court, if there was justice metered out to Kotalawela, Duminda Silva And The likes of Mervin silva, If there were no white van abductions or the prison murders. And now the ridiculous impeachment!
These are petrol pumping attendants , and low level computer operators., trying to fight wars and run countries and build economies. We Patriotic Sri Lankans disassociate our selves with the murderors. We Sri Lankans are peaceful ,law abiding citizens mostly, this is why these murderers are able to plunder elections and our wealth and commit crimes against humanity

This timed-release human-rights bomb works every time UNHRC virus hits Geneva!

      Ajay

“This timed-release human-rights bomb works every time UNHRC virus hits Geneva!”

All because of human rights hacktivists.

So Sri Lankan state has not yet found a way to firewall these types of human rights hacktivist virus. The only virus protection known to human beings is “Independent Investigation” with the provision to trade confessions for amnesty.

Please try this anti virus program it will definitely work, tried and tested in South Africa and other countries. The packaging displays a warning “War Crime Crimes against humanity” deniers are excluded from using this anti virus software.

Firewalls made in China, India, USA, Russia, Pakistan and other countries seem to have very short shelf life depending on their own interests.

Beware Human Rights hacktivists are known to use Time Delay Viruses which may come back to attack the deniers even 30 0r 40 years after those crimes taking place.

My elders who know one or two things told me this is happening in Bangladesh, Cambodia, whole of African continent and ………..

        Hey Vedda,

History can be erased and reinstalled without the annoying viruses. You should know because this is what happened to your people.

          Ajay

          Thanks for your tip.

One has to learn from history that history cannot be completely erased.

Tamil Sinhala axis of evil has a lot to learn from the history. I am not hopeful.

What to do Ajay? The carriers of this virus is the regime itself. Consider the UNHRC as the antidote and be thankful for that.

WHAT HAPPENED TO THE LTTE DISABLED
There is an article in the Sunday Leader of today’s issue (Feb24 2013)on how they were killed by the LTTE itself. The close relations of some of the disabled LTTE soldiers have said that in May 2009 they were massacred by the LTTE by exploding the buses in which they were made to travel. This is how the LTTE looked after their disabled comrades. Prabhakan brought death and misery upon many thousands of Tamils including his wife and children simply due to his intransigence brutality and stupidity.I do not think he ever listened to the educated or to the senior members of the LTTE. If he had been an intelligent man he would never have ordered to assassinate Rajiv Gandhi which led to the beginning of the downfall of the outfit. If he had an iota of brain he should have sent his wife and the younger son abroad.Another foolish act was not allowing the Tamils to vote at the Presidential election in 2005.Had he allowed Ranil would have elected and peace talks would have continued. His uncompromising stand on a separate state for the Sri Lankan Tamils was his biggest mistake. If he had been a prudent person he would have settled for autonomy in a united Sri Lanka.Due to his intransigence, stupidity and brutality many thousands of Tamils including his children and wife, would not have lost their lives.Yet.in spite of all that, I never condone the killing of his 12 year old innocent son whose pictures of his last two hours brought tears to my eyes.I feel very very sad for this innocent child. This is the naked brutality of the war.As such let us do whatever we can do to prevent another killing field which is being prepared by the BBS.

Prabakaran was shown in all videos dead on May 18th 2009 & war officially came to end, while his Son Balachandran was killed on May 19th 2009 at 12 PM..

How can the SL government claim that he died in ‘CROSSFIRE’ on May 19th when the war was ‘OVER’ by May 18th???

Stupid SL government can’t hide their war crimes..FOREVER!

I dont see how these unverified videos and pictures help the cause of reconciliation and ethnic harmony in SL. It is understandable that the victim families want some kind of justice from an increasingly deaf regime.Nevertheless this isnt the way in which one should ask for justice!
Any sane minded neutral observer gets the feeling that justice has taken second place in the face of a vendetta against SL. No doubt there were gristly events in those last days, but this tactic of “shocking” the world is doing more harm than good.
On one hand it antagonizes the two main ethnicities in SL further. The “us vs them” mentality isnt what we need, sadly these pictures do whip up that sentiment.
Secondly a stubborn regime gets even more stubborn.Just take a look at some of the statements made by government officials in the aftermath of these pictures and videos. Clearly they are adamant that the army and regime were bereft of ANY wrongdoing whatsoever. Constructive criticism would be a far more effective tool because even the people of the country would feel the veracity of such criticism. The current mentality in SL is that “western nations are out to get us and our soldiers”.

    nohopes,
You are absolutely right. I cannot see either how throwing up these things from time to time – significantly, just prior to a meeting of the UNCHR –is going to help the process of reconciliation. These pictures must say something of the journalistic standards of Channel 4.
I also wonder whether those at Channel 4 and the like are some disturbed characters who derive sadistic and voyeuristic delight in publishing images of dead and mutilated bodies in all their gory detail. I imagine most people would find these pictures distasteful and sickening.
