Anti-Muslim Violence: Buddhist Monk Chases Out Sinhala Customers In Muslim-Owned Shop – Video

Just a day after the violent mob attacks on mosques and ordinary Muslim citizens  in the North Western Province, a forage has emerged showing a Buddhist monk entering a Muslim-owned shop in Padiyathalawa and chasing out Sinhala customers. The monk has also threatened the shop owner.

“This is what happened in my shop today. There were two customers in my shop looking to buy things and I was showing them what they wanted. Suddenly one monk and another person came into the shop. The other guy looked decent and stood behind the monk,” the victimised shop owner said.

He said:”The monk asked ‘mudalali ko, mudalali ko’ (where is the owner?). My cousin stood behind them.

“The monk saw the two customers in the shop and asked them ‘ogollo monatada aawey? Ai oyala methana inney?’ (Why have your’ll come here?).

“They replied they have come to buy skirts and other things. The monk said ‘You should not buy things in the shops of these people. Go, go home. Don’t you have any shame even after telling so much? Here see, in their Quran it says, Allah created all lives and will give everyone their food & provisions, so then why these people have come to our country and eating from our Sinhala people. Their Allah will give them food, you should not buy anything from their shops. you go home’.

“And he chased away the customers and went behind them to the entrance. It’s recorded in my CCTV camera.

“Then he came back to me and asked who’s shop this is. I said it’s mine. He told me from now onwards I should not be in Padiyathalawa. ‘You are good people, I don’t have any anger on you, but if you stay in this Padiyathalawa running your business here from now onward, there will be big problems. In your Quran it says that, that means you are believing a lie. Why are you believing a false religion?’

“I did not reply to him. I was just silently listening. He tapped on my shoulder and told me to pack all my things, close my business and go to my hometown. Then he said something in filth and left.

“This was not only to my shop. He has gone to many other muslim owned shops in the area. This is the situation in Padiyathalawa now.”

      CT,

Para-Sinhala Para-“Buddhism”, the curse of the Land of Native Veddah Aethho. How many have seen Para-Sinhala Para-Buddhist Monks, attacking Tamils over the years since 1958? This is Sinhala Buddhism.

We have also seen recently Para-Wahhabism . They follow Satan, per prescient Hadith of Najd. They attacked Sufi, Shia and Ahmedia Muslims, and recently Catholics.

Indeed, Religion is The Opium of the Masses. Nobody was reborn and nobody went to heaven. They all rotted here on Earth to be consumed by fauna and flora, and recycled.

So, what does this monk know about the muslims ? Besides most of lanken muslims are normal people.
They cant live with the fears being excercised by BALLIGE PUTHA monks. These monks should be hung by their balls, since they are not real buddhists but extremists in that way.

We should be ashamed to be sinhalayas… I hate to see BLACK july repeating in OUR rotten island again.
    :
Rajaakshes should be HUNG by their balls to have instigated these monks or Nittawas against NORMAL MUSLIMs.

Tom hits Dick but Dick does not hit back Tom. Instead, Harry comes out and hits Tom. This is surprising since Harry does not really care much for Dick anyway! So I think there must be some other reason for this odd behaviour!

I am a Sinhalese Buddhist but this is not acceptable in any way. I am glad that Christian clergy has not entered politics. That is why they stay calm. Buddhist clergy entered in politics and it ruined the country.

So what? Nothing is going to happen to this monk. Before apprehending this monk, find the people who sent this country back to few decades in the last few days,
Also find the Murderers who hacked a businessman to death in front of his children. Before everything chase away the idiot who presided over the security council for his own self interest.
All the rest will fall nicely into place.

Where is the rule of law? Are Buddhist monks above the law? Why don’t the security forces arrest him and lock him up.

If they don’t, how can they expect to stop the Sinhalese terrorists from rioting against Muslims?

By government not enforcing the rule of law rioting terrorists will have no deterrent to stop.

There is no rule of law or decency is this country. What you have are thugs and racist mobs behaving like uncivilized barbarians, and no leader with spine to control them.

Foremost place for Buddhism in the constitution so yes Buddhists are above the law?

Is this why these Buddhist terrorist are never arrested?

As per our culture & traditions Buddhists monks are treated as guardians of the nation. As such Monk has every right to ask not to do transactions with Muslims traders. That is not an offence.

Hey Ranjith there is nothing like that Buddhist monks what guardians bullshit

      • 4
        0

Palitha, actually I think Ranjith is correct! The constitution gives the foremost place to Buddhism isn’t it? So this is what we get? If you want it to stop amendments have to be made making it clear all citizens are equal and no special treatment for any religious or ethnic groups will be allowed.

      ranjith the shortsighted

are the monks going to pay the higher prices that sinhala traders will be charging?

why just be guardians when you can enter parliament and run the country? The first monk who entered was hospitalised when mervyn put his paws under the robes and sqeezed his balls so hard.Gnanasera said that muslims and tamils have their leaders to look after them, but sinhalese don’t have implying he is the messiah, and nearly lost his deposit trying to enter parliament.Ranjith, you are a outdated bugger who wants to take this country backwards into BS history instead of into 21st century.

Hereafter I will be only buying from Muslims shops. I hope as many Sinhalese as possible will do the same. Find this shop and go and buy from them if possible.

This man is no monk. Look at the way he is scolding the shop owners. And please observe how respectfully the Muslim men behave while that man is waving his hand scolding them in their own their shop! They should have chased him away. I feel really really sorry for the Muslims….. Why can’t people understand that Sri Lankan Muslims had nothing to do with the ISIS or the Easter attacks? Why are these idiot wicked people harassing the innocent Muslims? This is totally unacceptable. This monk should be disrobed and imprisoned. He has absolutely no right to do what he is doing.

The dolts are unable to differentiate the innocent people from what terrorists do. Maybe someone should tell them no one blame THEM when the JVP terrorists terrorized the country. Basically those who behave like uncivilized barbarians are racists. The country should be ashamed that people around the world are seeing these racist videos.

He may be a monk but certainly not a Buddhist, leave alone being a Buddhist monk! These idiots do not know the principles of Buddha’s preaching although they will give a “sermon” on racism and violence. He is not fit to call himself sinhalese, Buddhist or a Sri Lankan!

Is this monk mad or deranged? He is recorded on video why cannot this be given to the authorities or the human rights organisations to investigate and punish this monk for threatening and abusive behaviour? This is like Nazi Germany do not enter Muslim shops and businesses what next? Can’t these poor Muslims earn a living?

    • 4

True. What’s next? All Muslims in a new outfit with a nice bright half moon on the chest? All Muslim shops branded? Buddhist monks the new GESTAPO? If the people don’t stop it, welcome in hell! Your choice.

It is this type of uneducated ill informed racist persons who are the cause of the country’s stagnation, ethnic violence and therefore economic degradation. We hav to overcome. Otherwise we will be barbarians. The video is silent and therefore non admirable.

This type of monks are a disgrace to Buddhism. This is the result of Bandharanayake Sinhalese in 24 hours.. PARENTS WHO CANNOT MANAGE THE COST OF LIVING HANDING THEIR CHILDREN WHO JOIN UNIVERSITIES and become thugs. The ultimate responsibilities are the politicians who have ruined this beautiful nation of Sri Lanka.

This punks face is clearly visible, arrest that bald bastard and show him the full power of the law without any favor or prejudice!

I saw a comment somewhere, the true Sinhalese must rise up – YES

We need to take back our country from this bastard politicians and write our own constitution not favoring politicians but favoring all communities of the country where no one is above the law and no ones is beneath the law!

These are things that Devoted Clergy shouldn’t do at any time? for they are supposed to teach right from wrong, instead of RACISM

  • 8

The success of Western countries is simply due to the separation of POWER and POLITICS.

    Religion is a private matter.

But here Jokers are hanging on Religious leaders (all ) just for the community vote.

Chanting religious verses should be banned in parliament.

    Cheers

See how friendly the sinhalese visiting the muslim shops and action of the monk, the sinhalese customer spirit is superior and understand more.

  • 13

Hope someone can sponsor him – to visit all “Muslim” countries and try convincing all Sri Lankans employed there to come back imdtly. How do all these scoundrels continue to evade the law when the evidence is so stark?
I saw anger in the faces of the employees of this shop. Restrained anger. It will erupt at the time which is right and ripe for them and then the shit will hit the fan – again. Here is a classic example of the probable molding of future terrorists. Can any human being be expected to suffer such ignominy at the hands of such a deranged egg headed freak calling himself a monk? Just because he was born into a minority community?
