As Crime Rate Increases, CID Takes Over Probe Of Charred Bodies

With the crime rate increasing dramatically over the past few weeks following a spate of killings and shootings, the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has been handed over the investigation to probe the most recent incident where several charred bodies were found inside a burnt van in Dankotuwa on Friday morning.

burnt van in DankotuwaInspector General of Police N. K. Illangakoon has handed over the investigation to the CID. the bodies were recovered in the van following a tip off given to the police emergency number.

Meanwhile in another incident also on Friday, a 49 year old woman was killed and her husband critically injured, when a group of unidentified men shot at them in Sevanagala, Embilipitiya.

It is not clear if both incidents are related to the underworld. With the crime rate soaring over the past two weeks, President Maithripala Sirisena has ordered the IGP and the Army Commander to take necessary action to eliminate underworld activities which have spread across the country.

Someone is in a hurry to get rid of witnesses and evidence to their deeds. Looking at the names on the rogues gallery there are a number of individuals that would fit the bill.

However one may wish to pretend, the undeniable fact is that karma, in every sense of the word, reaches you, in time, for the sins you have committed. No sin gets wiped away with lies. You men, blinded by power, your turn is next!

Absolutely right, Karma is the final judgement no one can escape from KARMA!
There will be no escape for rhetorical comments!

Increasing crime, the most violent form of it, is the revenge of karma against the lies of the yahapalana mob.

Look at the other evidence. Sobhita is dead, MKDS Gunawardana is dead. Asgiriye Lokka dead, Rajitha not getting well and Champika on political death bed.

Have there been any evidence of results of bad karma like this in Sri Lankan history?

      Deyyiyo Sakki!

Sobitha Thero -74 years old and had been having ailments for some time. Monks are not known for having the healthiest constitutions, mainly because their diet is actually not as good for the health as some people think. The lack of nutrients catches up with you at some point.

MKDS Gunawardena – 70 years old, had health problems for the last 15 years as per his daughter, 7 decades is bound to catch up with you at some point.

Asgiriya Lokka – 95 years old; by all standards (and especially those of Monks, a life long lived). My grandmother died of a hip fracture when she was 97. Must be her bad karma. Also those thousands of other elderly people who died of the same each year.

Champika – who the hell is Champika, and do we even know what he did/didn’t do? This is the same chap who was purportedly driving a vehicle wearing sunglasses at 11 o clock at night!

I am not what makes you a bigger moron – believing in the supernatural with no evidence to prove its existence, or believing that your pals in the joint opposition are actually worth giving a damn about. If all this karma and coconuts worked, the war should have ended 25 years ago.

          Well said about Buddhism!
I am born to Buddhist father. I know how much simplicity Buddhism teaches to mankind. Also, I have real Buddhist friends they are golden humans. I am not exaggerating but reiterate those are very simple pious people.
The Buddhism you have mentioned here it is not from the True Buddhists but that was created by politicians, Drug lords, criminal gangs, it is appropriate to identify as the POLITICAL VERSION OF BUDDHISM. It is the reality of the political orders has been created in this country by those gangs.
Can you see how many rich people are emerging in Sri Lanka, Can it be possible this thing happening in this poor Sri Lanka? If you join the political version of Buddhism I think surely you also can become a rich person in this majority poor Buddhist Sri Lanka. Do you think all these glitters are Gold???
Where is the Humanity in Sri Lanka? Where are the religious preachers of Sri Lanka? Why they cannot open there true mind? Who is blocking them from the divine work for the people?
I am not encouraging anyone to join the Political religion but the reality is unbelievable. Watch out ALL WILL HAVE A JUDGMENT DAY. THAT WILL BE THE DAY FOR TO PAY BACK THEIR ‘KARMA’.

That is all that he can do. Beyond that nothing. All know that he is a spineless faggot and can do nothing other than order.

In short form ” Anarchy” is raising its ugly head, while MS & RW fiddle with their B—s while the country is burning.

The reality is that.. all this thugs and criminals. Were well fed and tought the use of heavy guns like T56 etc by the MR regime and were used as body guards.henchmen for kappams and killings .eg Namal dumindha mervin bharatha etc. As long as they were under these people tbey rarley clashed with each other except in dumindha bharatha clash. Now that their fun time over they are back to killing each other.

The govt will have to take a hard stance to eliminate tbis mess.

The Blue Brigades (members are people form all walks of life ) very active , getting rid of anyone either as true witness or condemning the past crimes.

It is because the the Blue brigade created by previous regime was done by Mosad of Israel,it is very sophisticated and complexed ,the members are mainly from The Sinhale Buddhist majority , part Christians of all three ethnicity ,Sinhale ,Tamil and Burghers , Muslims , and quiet a large number from educated Estate Tamils.

The problem is they work so closely as network ,well financed as they were the proxies who handled most of the financial transactions ,including sale of drugs, illegal ethanol made Whiskies , smuggling in large scales from the customs , its unbelievable, the people who are behind this, from highly educated to the very poorly educated ,men and women of all walks of life, this is one of the reasons the present government is not able to nail the culprits , they have people everywhere ,from telecom/internet providers(Dialogue has the largest), banks (private & government) ,diplomatic missions ,private corporate, stock market , Central bank ,EPF ,ETF, private buss operators, taxis ,hospitals both private and government , Airport, Immigration ,Police , and army deserters , religious organizations ,including priests of all religions , it is that large so how can you eliminate such a cancer ? you need the help of a good foreign intelligence ,the best is India . you need to start appointing trust worthy , men and women who believe in good ethics to work round the clock ,provide them the best of protection , this is the only way to create a counter force to completely wipe out this cancer , if the government is going to slack on this ,in a few years guaranteed Sri lanka will be the Ruthless killing fields of south Asian Mexico. The have now started eliminating the small evidence ,next will be those in parliament who have crossed over and finally The PM and then the President, extra protection must be immediately provided to SF and family.

BINURI UNDANI – Karma started to settle the dues because the government failed to provide justice to the affected people. One kannahi burned Madurai for the death of her husband, but so many kannahis in North waiting for the justice from Srisena & Rani can’t expect from MR & Co. Some unaffected Singhalese can think, why can’t we forget everything and move forward – we like to forget but the death cry of innocent people who asked for political solution/ better life are still ringing in many Tamils ears.

When we speak of CRIME, the normal tendency (in a big way) is to discuss, “MURDER” i.e. killing of human beings. But still to a lesser degree, we also speak of, robbery, rape, drug trafficking, human smuggling, running of illegal brewery, smuggling etc. But unfortunately, a large majority of the people have very much ignored or shown lesser interest of a different type of crimes that have PLAGUED the country for the last ten to fifteen years and that is WHITE COLLAR CRIMES committed by the PROFESSIONALS, such as, High Class Administrators,(both in Govt. & Private Sectors), Accountants, Engineers, Doctors, Lawyers etc. A good example of such a huge crime in the Private Sector was the Golden Key case. All the so called “Professionals” from the Central Bank, the internal Administrators of the company down to the external Auditors were responsible for that CRIME of collecting enormous funds from unsuspecting clients and busting it in a day light “Robbery”. Even we know of few of the investors committed suicide, heart broken on the loss of their life long savings that brought them the expenses of day to day life. Why go that far. Just imagine the number of “Financial Crimes” committed by the previous Government Ministers and Professionals that have been investigated by the FCID. So far 22 such cases have been investigated, finalized and awaiting prosecution. In those 22 cases alone, the FINANCIAL CRIMES committed aggregate to over Rs. 5000 millions. If we are to add the pending cases in courts of such types of cases that amount will definitely hit above TRILLIONS. Please remember all those are CRIMES against the PEOPLE and the COUNTRY.

We are so quick to point out the “Killing” of an underworld operative by another such person or a rival gang member. Another could be the elimination of a vital witness in a murder case or the accused. Yet another could be the sudden emotional eruption due to a fight between the husband and the wife; an unsettled land dispute among litigants etc. In these cases the Law Enforcement Authorities are very quick and or pushed by people and pressure groups to investigate and bring the culprits before justice.

Do the PEOPLE take the same “enthusiasm” and “interest” in bringing those MEGA WHITE COLLAR CRIMES committed by PROFESSIONALS to book? Do the Authorities (Government, Judiciary, Law Enforcement Limbs) look into or pressured to solve such crimes EXPEDITIOUSLY through the Justice System and RECOVER the LOOT? Unfortunately NO. Shouldn’t this aspect of the CRIMES (Whit Collar) receive PUBLIC ATTENTION (both people and media)much more than the scattered incidents that occur among the criminal gangs who live by the sward and die by the sward.

Yahapalanaya is a joke.. we need the gangster king the Sadharma Keerthi Medamulana King Mara to govern us again.

You will see action on the spot with few youths from the neighborhood will be blindfolded and shot on the head and left on the roadside or else police shot after try to snatch a gun or jump into a river with the handcuffs when going to show some hidden firearms.

We need a King like that again a Ali-Hora. This Yahapalanaya sucks big time with investigations/arrests/legal proceedings etc.,
