Aussie PM Supports CHOGM

Canada issued a scathing statement outlining his boycott of CHOGM in Sri Lanka and threatened to cut its funding for the Commonwealth today while new Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbot vowed to attend the summit in Colombo despite concerns over the Government’s human rights record.

Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper issued a statement on Monday, shortly before he met with Mr Abbott in Bali, confirming his boycott of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM).

The Australian Prime Minister Abbott said Premier Harper’s decision was a matter for him.

“But certainly I intend to attend CHOGM and will do my best to make a constructive contribution to the deliberations there,” he told reporters.

The prime minister said the Commonwealth is an important forum and amongst Australia’s oldest international associations.

“You do not make new friends by rubbishing your old friends or abandoning your old friends,” he said.

The age old thieves Australia cannot survive without Chinese trade after the UK withdrew from trading due to its EU commitments.

Now that UK government is being shunned by the EU and the British public the slave masters are desperately in need of the Commonwealth.

The kangaroos have a very poor record in human rights compared to Canada. Both have natural resources.

What more can you expect from the PM of a country of ‘jail birds’. His anccestors perpetrated ‘genocide’long before in Tasmania and elsewhere in the country of the aborigines of which he is an illegal immigrant. Birds of a feather flock together.

Friendship apart, how can the Commonwealth that claim to uphold good governance, huan rights and international law ignore a country credibly alleged to have committed war crimes and violated the core principles treated as if nothing happened. Aussie PM may be paying Sri Lanka for stopping the boat people but the causes of their desperation and continued oppression also must be looked in the interest of humanity. People won’t risk their lives in high seas without genuine reasons.

110,000 Tamil refugees prefer to languish in Indian camps than risking their future in Northeast of Sri Lanka that is under the control of Sinhalese speaking military.

Tamils hold 1 seat at Toronto and with Liberal opposition not even at Ottawa or Montreal.

oi what are you talking about. it’s not just tigers who are responsible for destroying sri lanka. it’s the chingala lot who are the main culprits. their policies, intransigence , race riots etc.contributed for the destruction of sri lanka. however, chingala lot hasn’t learned no lessons from their past mistakes and they continue to adopt the same old outdated practices. if they don’t learn quickly this country will be at war for ever. by the way it’s up to me how i spend my money and i don’t think i need your advice.
