    Sir,

Please set up a special Remand Prison for Rajapassa family members, extended family members, cronies & henchmen inside Kosgama Army Camp.

Right next to Ammo Storage facility. Preferably.

For their own safety, security, entertainment & well-being. Even then at taxpayers’ expense.

    Cheers!

    PS:
    Accidents do happen.

      Sir,

“Please set up a special Remand Prison for Rajapassa family members, extended family members, cronies & henchmen inside Kosgama Army Camp.”

      Good idea, but too late.

Just dump them in the Indian Ocean.

It is too costly to incarcerate them. The country cannot afford, now that Tax Concessiins haver to be given ton the 225 MPs.

Your buddies under Mr Pirahaparan blew up a lot of things.

      But never an Ammo Dump.

Now your mates Batalanada Ranil and Bodhi Sira have made it possible..

      What a remarkable achievement.

Probably one for the Yahapalana Hall of Fame.

Gon Sumane, you are such a loser. Anyone who is a Tamil you think is an LTTE supporter. Oh boy, I wonder whether we can open that empty scull and put a brain in there. Yes, your Parayapakse sent other people’s children to the north to die while his hoodlum sons were performing race car tricks in Colombo.

      Ben,
we perfectlly know that this man was intially taken to the custody, anything and everyhting was said about his health conditions. But even lately, rumours were there, that he has been engaging with making a new party to devide SLFP. All was said in local tabloids that man is the key problem of lanken politics of the day. He is behind making every conflicts of the order. People say, this man has witout respecting to anyone has sowed state funds to the poor just to outreach them thorugh abuses. I beleive, all in all, this man BASIL should be taken to custody and clean all the allegations being made on him – then only others could continue for the good of the country and people.
I have no respect if FCID or any body else seem not taking the issue that serious. All is said that it takes time, but even simple simons may know it better that all the high allegations with some evidence should be there to corner this Basil once for all leaving others in Peace. It is easier get more information about him and the family if corresponding US authorities would have been contacted. Being on the west, I know how all these work – on the west, it is no easy to be away from anything – if allegations become countless numbers. I have no doubt the investigators have enough evidnce collected to this day to send the man for a long term jail session. Basta

Why the authorities yet to take acton against Basil s wife and family to have failed to be present in FCID.
Even if they are living in the THUTHU KUDIYA – if they are accused, should be present before lanken courts. Why interpol cant be mediated here ? Why the investigations stay stagantated ?

If 1000 allegations are there, atleast 60% of them shoudl be provable with the available facts. Why always the bailing out has taken ground for this men.

Is this the way the current regime teach GOOD GOVERNANCE to the youth of the country ? Ballige puthalaya of the Rajaapkshe circles deserves all harmful jail sessions to the very same manner Gadafi or Sadam Hussein family kith and kin faced it. Basta

Is Ranil making a Mahatma out of Basil?

Mahatma Gandhi was sentenced to jail not less than 11 times and spent almost 7 years in prison.

Basil Arrested, Produced In court, Sent to remand prison motion by lawyers for bail then sent to luxury merchants ward. Appeal for bail denied, then high courts grant bail under strict conditions. Way to go Yahapalanaya. People are fed up now with broken promises.

Native Vedda. Now I have heard everything. Basil Rajapakse is exactly like Mahatma Gandhi, in demeanour, honesty, integrity and loyalty. People mistake them for twins.

        Thank you Sylvia

” Basil Rajapakse is exactly like Mahatma Gandhi, in demeanour, honesty, integrity and loyalty. People mistake them for twins.”

Now you have clarified the matter, can I remove the old photograph of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi and replace it with Mahatma Basil Rajab Rajapakse, the hero of Welikada?

This is a bloody joke. Arresting and releasing. The government is fooling the people. the 19th amendment to the constitution has ruined the country. It enabled the two parties consisting of rogues to join together and ruin the country. They are not governing the country. UNP ers and the SLFP ers are pulling rope in opposite directions. Some SLFPers in the government, behind the seen are supporting the Rogue Rajapaksa. The country does not have a proper leader. It is a headless country. We need a ONE party government!!

    FCID Arrests Basil Again!
This is all eye wash by the yahapalana government to hoodwink the masses. It has taken more than 16 months and nothing has been done in regard to corruption and mass scale fraud. MS & RW are dead scared to go go after the Jarapaksas after all evidence against them is plenty. The AG Dept and the Law authorities are packed with Jarapaksa loyalists and nothing seems to be moving in the right direction.

The people are taken for a Jolly good ride. Its time for a serious reshuffle of the government and kick out Wijedasa Rajafucksa, Vajira Abey, Long John Seneiviratne, Stinky mouth Dilan Ferreira.

This is the bugger who said “WE RAJAPAKSE’S AREN’T ROGUES”, soon after coming back from the US.
This bugger didn’t have money to buy a loin cloth, let alone land.

Put Sarath Fonseka in charge of the FCID, Bribery and Justice and you will see the swift investigations and justice as promised.

This has been nature of lanken investigations from the day 1.

We have lost our hopes to this day.

Thrisu – we have been betrayed by lanken leaders. No doubt about that. Even if they play consensual politics, not much is seen to this day – to be called as done tangibly good to the nation.

JOURNOS on the other hand, stay further supportive to Rajaakshe clans.

I simply believe that is sabotage plan may have been done by Rajapakshe to attack current govt – i mean Kosgoda desaster.

      Yakadaya:-

Arresting the Rajapakses and releasing them on Bail, seems to be a Good Way of getting back All that Misappropriated Money!

The Government should set up a Fund called ‘The Rajapakse Returns Fund’, and publish the Amount in it on a Regular Basis!

Like going to monring Toilette, they arrest and set free.

What is not new to us. I am fed up of the investigations being carried out by current regime. We finally want to see all the sharks being arrested and kept in the jail forever.

This is a reenactment of “Vinoda Samaya” staged many years ago by Amaris Aiyah (Samuel Rodrigo). There are many more episodes to come. The people are kept entertained and made to forget the burdens placed on them.

Can a journalist perhaps write an article about why it is so easy to get bail? Is it because the judicial system is still pro-MR, or because the (F)CID is still pro-MR, or perhaps a combo?

I haven’t seen a proper article yet about this “revolving door” syndrom Sri Lanka is suffering from when it comes to arresting MR family members (crooks) and cronies.

Mister Ten Percent became very greedy and became Mister 30, 40 , 50 percent over time. He is highly educated with O-levels and Two special degrees in Economics from LSE and Oxford. He also got a PhD at Harvard. He is so brilliant, Obama wanted him to come back to solve the problems in the USA. That is why he left immediately after the elections.

Ahhhhhhhh, you forgot that Basil was the keen student of Dutta Gamini during his Mahavali days, who was said to be the richest man in South Asia, ….

      Good teacher, good student.

    The farce continues!

Wonder if any of these ‘arrests’ will end up with convictions?? The way things are going with Yahapalanaya, it doesn’t look like it!

If these ‘leaders’ continue in this vein it is most likely that they will get the boot and the farce will continue with the ‘other side’ playing the same game!

Next time please arrest the ‘Bail’ before arrest ‘Basil’. At least, no ‘Bail’ available in that case…… :)
