This is like a hide and seek game played by children. People do not want gimmicks in the investigations, arrest, releasing in bail. People wants real government, real punishment for crimes. It is a waste of public money!

The rule of law applies only to the poor of the land not the high and mighty. What a shame; he will get bailed out in no time. Just a masquerade by the corrupt politicians in power to fool people.

This government has no credibility. The two leaders My3 and Ranil are not interested in fulfilling their promises and obligations to the public. They are only worried about the forthcoming village level elections. Ranil wants to split the SLFP by indirectly supporting Mahinda. My3 is trying to scare the Mahinda faction by getting the Rajapaksas into custody and releasing them ASAP. Ranil has a My3 only during overseas trips. Rest of the time he is with the Boys Sagala, Akila etc. The performance of our present leaders is pathetic. We need a Theresa May to lead our country.

I cannot understand the logic behind the arrests, bailing out, re-arrests cycles. Why are the politicians in remand alliwed special previleges like cell phones, mattresses and processions of visitors. Isby this grave discrimination against ordinary citizens in remanded for alleged minor crimes?

I cannot also understand why Pillaiyan is in remand for a long time, while Duminda Silva is roaming free. Both are accused of murder!

How can our law and order and judicial mechanisms be called free, fair , unbiased and above political influence/political consideration/ ethnic bias, yet?

How many times this man has been arrested and now indicted? Can anyone educate us as to how the Courts are granting “Bail” when anyone charged with misappropriation of “Public Funds”? I think the “Rights Activists” must challenge that decision of the Courts, in terms of the Public Property Act.

All these drama is for printing some litha and giving flag poles for pradeshiya Sabahs. Nnone of these cases hold any water in a court of law. This is just to have this guy inside when the Pada Yathra happens on the 28th. These are desperate measures by desperate people. MY3 instead of trying to force himself into SLFP he should force Ranil out and take leadership on the UNP. He simply cannot fathom that SLFP doesn’t seem him as its leader.

Everybody has the democratic right to criticize the govt of the day. But none has the right to criticize the judicial process. We have seen the “Tea Boy” of the opposition lawyers – Namal Baby giving a lecture about the judicial process, in the electronic media. Better this should be stopped before the Hon. Judges take severe action on this. Hope his Dada also learn this.
