Days after the Government announced again that demonstrations and protests would not be permitted during CHOGM 2013 the Channel 4 team and No Fire Zone director Callum Macrae exited the Bandaranaike International Airport to face a media mob and a demonstration against the broadcaster a short while ago.

The Government has accredited Channel 4 to cover the CHOGM summit in Colombo.
The airport is under tight security with expected road closures throughout the day to facilitate VIP travel from the airport to the capital.
However the demonstrators protesting Channel 4’s documentaries accusing the Sri Lankan Government forces of war crimes was permitted at main exit doors of the BIA.
“We have walked out of Colombo airport straight into noisy anti channel 4 demo,” Channel 4’s Jonathan Miller tweeted on arrival.
On the weekend, several foreign journalists reported finding a special booklet inserted into their CHOGM media packs discrediting Channel 4’s claims, entitled ‘Corrupted Journalism.’ Commonwealth Spokesman Richard Uku is reportedly investigating how the booklets got into the CHOGM media packs.

Well, the LTTE’s Plan B is progressing very well. This story is based on the famous film ‘300 Spartans’ which the LTTE once used to motivate its cadres. Earlier they used the film ‘Lion of the Desert’ to promote suicide bombing.
Vaani is doing her role commendably in UK. She is very successful in using C4 to provoke Tamil diaspora. Since 2009, Vaani and C4 have tremendously increased hatred against Sri Lanka globally and locally. C4 has its agenda in tact to divide Sri Lanka in another 3-4 years. It will release a footage showing some men raping Issaipriya next March just before the UNHRC meeting. Later, in May 2014, prior to Indian general elections, they will release some armed men shooting tiger cub Balachandran. That would be the beginning of the end of the story for a united Sri Lanka.
Sadly, Sri Lanka doesn’t seem to have a strategy to win the LTTE ‘Plan B’ war. C4 uses videos of injured Tamils to gain public sympathy worldwide for their cause. They never show the sufferings of the Sinhalese and Muslims at the hands of LTTE to balance their fair reporting. They are never willing to handover the evidences to UN or an International Court immediately to end this controversy. These actions of C4 means that they are wholeheartedly working for the LTTE Plan B. So, I have the genuine doubt that Vaani was the one who took those videos orchestrated by LTTE itself and passed on to C4!
Hence, whoever welcomed C4 at the airport with some placards reminding their job and pay(earlier wrongly mentioned as protesters!), knowingly or unknowingly, working for the pro-LTTE groups and C4!

The sooner these so called ‘journalists’ listen to the people of Sri Lanka and not some expats who want a separate state who I can assure you will never even live in it, the sooner we will have real peace in this country. You don’t need a brain to know that those that invested in the LTTE for so many years were disappointed that their investment crashed and burned in 2009 and they’ve realised now that the best way to get a separate state is by playing a war crimes card which doesn’t really cost much because they just have to lobby politicians who want their vote. Sinhalese don’t have Slavic names, and if one does then he/she must be mixed , which would be a very rare thing. So I am calling you on what is very likely you masquerading as someone you are not, not unheard of here at CT since there are other Rajapaksa water carriers here who masquerade as non Sinhalese or at the very least disengenously try to give the appearance they are not Sinhala.
It is not imbalanced , rather it is about what is most likely, that a Slavic person will not only post on CT but take a GOSL sympathetic view or that you are a Sinhala Nationalist using a Slavic name. It comes down to which is the most plausible scenario.

The C4 journalist missed a real opportunity here… They should have gone to the protestors with the camera on and asked them questions regarding the reasons for the protest and if they had seen the C4 documentary at all.
