British MPs have voted to reject possible military action against the Assad regime in Syria to deter the use of chemical weapons, the BBC reported.
According the BBC; UK government motion was defeated by 285 to 272, a majority of 13 votes.Prime Minster David Cameron said it was clear Parliament does not want action and “the government will act accordingly”.

KK looks at the matter in error. It is not a loss for Cameron but a victory for the democratic form of government. Miliband and the House did not disagree with Cameron in the Syrian issue but only wanted military action delayed until the Inspectors had submitted their report.
Having got used to the Lankan parliament, it is possible you and many others may not understand how democracy works – and hence the laugh.

This is a recognition of the British public opinion against a war on Syria. It is based on recent experiences in Iraq, the imminent defeat in Afghanistan, butchery in Libya and duplicity in Egypt, Bahrain etc. Also possible repercussions on the British streets.
