No good blaming the Sinhalese for Tamil suffering. Tamil racists like Chelva, Ponna, Sunda,VP and the ugly Bishops and the Tamil racist political class are responsible for the predicament the Tamils find themselves in. Ordinary Tamils must rise against the Tamil Racist Mindset, the racism and hatred against their Sinhala brothers and sisters. Tamil racists who started riots in 1958, 1977, 1983 and the conflict lasting decades have got nowhere, except a Humiliating Defeat at the hands of the Sri Lankan forces. As the first thirty years had the disenfranchisement, beginning of colonisation, Sinhala Only(Tamil parliamentarians attacked in front of the parliament by thugs watched by policemen, series of pogroms, 1960 Satyagraha(military assaults, detention/house-arrest of parliamentarians, 1972 constitution, 1974 Jaffna confernce, etc that led to the war, any investigation should start from ”independence” in 1948.
State terrorism that created reble terrorism must be fully tackled.

why not go back to 1919, when the Sinhalese legislators of the State Council lobbied Sir P. Arunachalam and once the Jaffna Association’s support obtained to call on the Colonial Office for constitutional reform, did not keep the guarantees and promises given to Sir PA? Or why not go even earlier?
One has to draw the line somewhere, and in this case, it is more than realistic to stick to either 2006-2009 or to stretch it a bit further, 2001-2009 (going earlier than that one looses the plot, because prior to the Dec. 2001 gen. election, it can be argued that CBK resorted to war as a means of containing the intransigeant LTTE, but Colombo’s unwavering priority was indeed on a negotiated settlement (and the CBK paper trail from the early drafts of 1995/97 to the full proposal for constitutional reform [tabled in Parliament in August 2000] can all be cited).

Will the LTTE proxy Sambandan and the US, Cameron,Harper Alliance accept a third way?
The Answer is No.
TNA wants Eelaam . US Cameron,Harper want Eelaam to pacify the BTF and the TNGTE as well as a Regime Change to make Ranil the President before he is forced to retire..
In the short term Sambandan will be happy to get the TNA Police and Titles to the North.
