Four Years Ago The Sinhalam Robbed Our Dignity, Denied Our Right To Life

By Visuvanathan Rudrakumaran

PM - TGTE - Visuvanathan Rudrakumaran

Vanakkam,

Distinguished guests, fellow members of the Transnational Government, brothers and sisters, holding the sacred memory of our martyrs in my heart, I greet you on behalf of the Transnational Government of Tamil Eelam

Four years ago on this day we witnessed the climax of a genocide of our people in our own land. Four years ago the Sri Lankan government denied our right to life; four years ago the Sinhalam robbed our dignity. Four years ago the Sinhala politico military establishment imposed untold suffering on our people in violation of humanitarian law and civilized norms in an attempt to destroy our political aspirations. The pain and humiliation of those days are still raw in the heart of the Tamil nation. Mullivaikal has etched a permanent place in the collective memory of the Tamil nation just as the word holocaust in the collective memory of the Jewish people. This week’s memorial events are being undertaken centered around the Tamil National Mourning Day.

We are all here with such heavy hearts. We are here not just to pool our collective wisdom and knowledge, but to share among us that knowledge and the refine thoughts of the recent years to strategize for a noble cause. Even though our cause was always a just one, we were overwhelmed in the battlefield due to duplicitous diplomacy. We are here to find ways and means as to how truthful diplomacy can be employed to secure justice that has been denied for us and our departed brothers and sisters. We are here, taking into account the evolving international jurisprudence and the politics surrounding of that jurisprudence to find ways and means to secure justice for our people.

Even though our brethren exhibited immeasurable valor and sacrifices to the utmost kind, we were overwhelmed in the battlefield. Might, however, is not right. We are here keeping in mind the maxim often stated by our National Leader that the world does not revolve on the axis of “tharmam”, but on the axis of interests. We are here to find ways and means how we can coalesce, how we can converge that Tamil political interest and the status quo powers’ geo-political interests. Even though the Tamil nation is now deprived of our hard power – our military power – we are here in the knowledge that power does not necessarily always mean hard power. The question is how we can exercise our soft power of augmented by Mullivaikal ? How we can exploit our soft power in a smart way? We are here to find ways and means as to how we can change the existing ‘Sino-, Indo-, Sri Lanka- Triangular Paradigm’ in which the Tamil nation is an object to a new ‘quadrilateral paradigm’ having four vantage points, namely China, India, Sri Lanka and global Tamils. When we convert our status from object to being a remarkable subject, we will be in a position to influence the course of events.

Distinguished guests who are gathered here are not just intellectuals, professionals and academics, but also activists in their own rights. We will work with unity of purpose amongst ourselves and with others who share our ideals to move our cause forward. With our knowledge and commitment we have in this august assembly can contribute to the birth of a free Tamil nation With dedication and unwavering determination, as an honor to the cries of Mullivaikal, I inaugurate this Conference.
Thirst of the Tamils is Tamil Eelam

Rudrakumaran back on top of “BS Mountain”.

Dishing out emotional garbage to an extremely loyal LTTE die-ass-pora.

These people really have a lot of time to waste.

As if, 30 years of human suffering was not enough.

Looks like the Sinhala-Buddhist donkeys are having a short term joy. Continue your donkey dance until uncle Sam come home. Uncle Sam is already getting close (Maldives).

        Sankara Sarma’s public what???
        Wonder who is reeling???

John the half Suddha seems to be still smoking that stuff.

The LTTE had robbed our dignity long before that event. They robbed our individuality and our voice, along with our dignity. They made us voiceless slaves! They made us the Thavil, that gets beaten from both ends, but one end more than the other! A people who had already lost their dignity were brought down to their knees by a stupidly war precipitated by the LTTE and gladly joined by the GOSL. We are on our way to regaining our dignity. We deserve to have at least most of it back now. We can voice our concerns now with greater freedom than under the LTTE. This may be bitter truth for the likes of you.

Rudrakumaran, please do not continue to assume that we the Tamils here are incorrigible morons! Are you tone deaf? Hear the collective sigh of relief of the Tamils here. They consider the LTTE to be the greatest evil to befall them. People told me in Jaffna a few days back that a miracle is unfolding in front of their eyes- roads, hospitals and railway lines! However, there are yet problems to be resolved. This is normal, considering what it was under tiger misrule and the aftermath of the war. We are back on our feet and are ready for the forward sprint and the hurdle jumping! There are of course hurdles. But hurdles are not bottomless pits and hence can be surmounted.

A monster has been unloaded from our backs and we do not need its shadow haunting us yet. Exaggerations have their limits and you have gone beyond these limits.

Thanks for your valour and sacrifices. We have had enough and more of them and their bitter after taste.

    Please leave us alone!

      Dr RN,
Your response is atrocious. you have rights to decide what you want, they , the displaced diaspora has every right under the universe to express what they want as much as you. Why don’t you people accept the call for referendum if you are so confident that Tamils in North is happy and why don’t you defeat the diaspora claim? Don’t you hear even TNA is not confident with current government and requesting interim government? Don’t you read the present government grabbing people private properties? I read completely different views to that of yours falsified proclamation about development. Only you and Asian tribune is trumpeting miracle development. Even in another article published today stated that development excluded war affected northern Tamil people. Tell me what is that development when people home is destroyed and live in camps and streets? Airport for tourists and ports for India and China, rail roads for sinhalisation?

Now I understand beyond doubts that you are paid employee under MR private payroll.

        Dear Mani;

        I am not Defending R N.

I do not Know him. and WHO EVER HE IS, only I read what he writes and sometime, we cannot and do-not agree what he writes for himself or his employer,
        [ i assume].
But IN TAMIZAR’S HISTORY, THIS IS THE GRATE BETRAYAL OF THEM ALL.
        YOUR “National Leader”betrayed your people.
HE LOST HIS DIGNITY AND FORCE YOU PEOPLE TO LOOSE THEIR DIGNITY ALSO.
        DON’T YOU THINK SO.
PERSONALLY I BELIEVE THAT, HE LOST MANY CHANCES TO KEEP HIS AND SRI LANKA TAMIZAR’S DIGNITY.

As Buddhist Sinhalese Without fear I AM TELLING THAT.
Because, That time [In 2009] I was there close to the war theater to find parents of my close friend.
so I WITNESSED THAT. I SAW HOW TAMILAN SUFFERED, BECAUSE OF WRONG DECISIONS TAKEN BY YOUR SO CALLED KILLER SUN GOD.

        you say;

” TNA is not confident with current government”.

DO you think that the other people do have a confidence with current government.

Even, We are Not in confidence of the JARAPASSA’S current government.
because Their policy is only to loot the masses and public property.

        you say;

” Don’t you read the present government grabbing people private properties?.”.

        development For sinhalisation?.

WE ARE NOT AGREE WITH YOUR STATEMENT.

That is only for their [ jarapassa clan’s] development.

        But AS PER MY KNOWLEDGE,
there are many Army camps on private lands NOW THAT IS TRUE,
and there were ARMY PERSONNEL’S FAMILIES IN JAFFNA, EVEN BEFORE THE WAR START, LIKE PALALY AND ELEPHANTS PASS area.

as you says there is no Sinhalese colonisation in north but some fisher families who were in the mulaithive area were resettled.

since late 1970, I am the only Sinhalese, who have a plot of land NEAR TO K K S with a deed.

IT IS NOT A SECRET THAT LTTE BETRAYED WHOLE SRI LANKAN TAMILS.
        YOU DO NOT AGREE??????????????.

yOUR Transnational Government of Tamil Eelam IS JUST SHEDDING CROCODILE TEARS.

we do not expect another blood bath in sri lanka.

        that is our only wish.

I mean we ALL SRI LANKANS, IRRESPECTIVE OF RACES AND RELIGIONS

People like you are no different to Rudrakumaran and the likes who like jackals come to strip off the remaining bits and pieces as scavengers …so I suggest you take the advice you give and leave us Tamils alone !

        There is a contradiction here.

Yes, indeed. A monster has been unloaded from our backs. But the devil that unloaded the monster from our backs has now captured our minds and made us its willing collaborators. If there is any miracle unfolding before our eyes it is that of the sight of the people celebrating their being set free from slavery to the monster now welcoming slavery to the devil and happily grovelling before it and worshipping it for all they are worth.

You’ve got something to stay alive & maintain your lifestyle.

Dear guest, fellow memnbers of TGTE brothers and sisters, from FOUR years ago we hold a sacred memory that Tamil Children and Youth were given back their lives that they did not have due to TGTE & Diaspora through their $$ had sacrificed them through the LTTE to further their own ends.
FOUR years ago we witnessed a humantarian operation when the GOSL Forces saved the balance Tamil Youth & Children from the clutched of the LTTE funded by the likes of Rudra, TGTE and the Diasspora.

THESE YOUTH AND CHILDREN TODAY, PLAY CRICKET, SOME LADIES SERVE THE MILITARY DOING WELFARE WORK FOR THEIR PEOPLE, SOME WILL EMERGE TO REPRESENT THE GOVERNMENT AT THE FORTHCONING ELECTIONS. MAHAJANA COLLEGE COMPLETELY REBUILT BY THE SLA TO NAME A FEW.

WHAT HAS THE RUDRA, THE TGTE & A PART OF THE DISSPORA DONE??

You have creating more suffering for the tamils and the sri lankans by the acts of yours. One day they will realise the hidden agenda of yours. That day you will have run for your life. well. Four year ago tamils of sri lanka got a new lease of life after the defeat of LTTE terrorists. All the tamils should be happy about this as they have no longer under the brutel control of Ltte.

So dear sri lankan tamil brothers and sisters please celebrate the day of freedom

    Rudrakumaran,

You and your colleagues dreaming of Elam in Sri lanka are the biggest impediments to return to living as one nation in Sri Lanka. Your isolation and inability to integrate in to the society of where ever you live is no reason for you to continue with your hallucinations.

The population in the city of Colombo consists of 40% Muslims, 33% Tamils and 19% Sinhalese. They are living quite happily. Get Lost!

    • 0
      0

Truth, your maths seem to wrong.40+33=73.So the sinhalese should be 100-73=27%.Anyway You have got your facts wrong my dear.I give below an excerpt from wikipedia

No Ethnicity Population % Of Total
      1 Sinhalese 265,657 41.36
      2 Sri Lankan Tamils 185,672 28.91
      3 Sri Lankan Moors 153,299 23.87
      4 Indian Tamils 13,968 2.17
      5 Sri Lankan Malays 11,149 1.73
      6 Burghers 5,273 0.82
      7 Sri Lankan Chetty 740 0.11
      8 Bharatha 471 0.07
      9 Other 5,934 0.96
      10 Total 642,163 100

      • 0
        0

Shankar, my figures relate to the population within the city limits of Colombo according to the recent census. Your figures appear to be probably based on an earlier census. Please remember that there is a high percentage of other communities living in the City of Colombo accounting for the balance 8%.

        • 0
          0

Truth,I looked at the 2011 census and colombo District has a total population of 2.3 million of which sinhalese are 77%,Srilankan tamil 10%,Indian tamils are 1% and moors are 10.5%.

If you look at the DS divisions which are divisions within the colombo district comprising the following then a better picture emerges

colombo -total population 318000 of which sinhalese are 25%,Srilankan tamils 31%,Indian tamils 3% and moors are 40%.

Kollonnnawa -Total population 190000 of which the sinhalese are 68%,,tamils 9.5% and moors are 21%.

Thimbirigasaya-total population 237000 of which sinhalese are 53%,tamils are 29.5% and moors 14.5%.

Dehiwela -total population 88000 of which sinhalese are 60% tamils 16% and moors 21%.

These are the only DS divisions in the colombo district where you get some minorities. In other DS divisions of colombo district it is predominantly sinhalese as given below

          kaduwela 96%,Homagama98%,Hanwella 89%,padukka95%,Maharagama 96%,Srijayawardenepura kotte 85%,Ratmalana 79%,Moratuwa 95% and Kesbawa 98%.

Presumably the figures you gave were for the Colombo DS division which comprises only a population of 318000 out of a district of 2.3 million.Even there you made a mistake on the sinhalese percentage quoting that there are other minorities other than tamils and moors. There aren’t other minorities of any worthwile numbers to talk about other than the tamils and the moors. You drove all the burgers out of the country with the sinhala only act and discrimination and about a million tamils too due to the violence perpetrated on them. The malays have got more or less assimilated like Dilshan and the Rajapakshes too have malay ancestry from what i read about their history by Dushy Ranatunghe, when malays were brought by the dutch to work on tobacco farms in Hambantota. No harm in that because Indians who travel to malaysia on business have told me that they are the most decent people they have had dealings with.

          • 0
            0

            Shankar,

It is unfortunate that the population of the City of Colombo is not clearly given in the census figures available on line. You are right, in 2001 the City population was 642,163. Can you work out the current total City population and the percentage of each ethnic group, to compare it against the 2001 composition?

In the absence of published data in the internet, I had to depend on some second hand data without any reference to the source. It is not reliable.

            • 0
              0

Truth,I think when we talk about the city of colombo,it will be very subjective and we should just use our commonsense and just think of the areas that are closest to the central business district which is colombo 1 Fort. The colombo DS divisions are I presume colombo 1 to 13 or whatever. That has a population of 318000.It should be easy to commute to work to Fort from Thimbirigassaya which has a population of 237000 and same for kollonnawa which has a population of 190000.If you total these up we get 318000+237000+190000=745000.Dehiwela is i think technically out of colombo city, but having gone there on my last visit i find it difficult to exclude it out of colombo city because it was so easy to travel to fort from there. So I think we should chuck it in too and make the totla population of colombo city 745000+88000=833000.

Of these 833000 the sinhalese comprise 386000 which is 46%.Tamils are 206000 which is 25% and moors are 218000 which is 26%.That probably is what Colombo city is now, based on logic.

Interestingly I looked at early statistics and in 1921 the whole of Ceylon had only a 4.5 million people less than a quarter of what we have at the moment. In less than one hundred years it has been a phenomenal increase of more than 4 times.

Of this 4.5 million in 1921 the sinhalese comprised 3 million which is two thirds of the population at that time.In 2011 I believe it is 75%(correct me if i am wrong)so they are a much more higher proportion of the population now than in 1921.Even rabbits coudn’t breed faster and I don’t know why they are getting so hot under the collar to find that the muslims are now overtaking them in breeding habits.

The Ceylon tamils were half a million in 1921 which is 11% while the indian tamils were more than them at 600000 which is 13%.That was surprising for me because i thought that the ceylon tamils would have been more than the indian tamils.Subsequent repatriations have reduced the indian tamils to just 4% of the population currently while the Ceylon tamils have maintained their ratio at 11% of the population.

The moors and malays were 300000 in 1921 which is 6.6%,whereas now they are nearly 10 %.The muslims and the sinhalese have been competing with each other in who is better at screwing and it seems that the muslims are winning at the moment with their birth rate in the period 1981-2011 being double that of the sinhalese. It must be due to so many sinhalese women going to middleeast. They are certainly screwing there but with muslim men now and with birth control etc without the encumbrances for the pleasure(or pain because the arabs are sexual deviants).

It was the day that the fascists from the south crushed the fascists from the north, destroying the tension between the two that had provided some small breathing space for others. Now fascism reigns supreme. It has consolidated its grip on the state and is vigorously pursuing its global agenda which is being encouraged by those who find it an useful force to use in the advancement of their own agendas. It will be many decades before those who remain are able to understand what happened and by then such understanding may be of little use to anyone.

Cannot agree at all and I totally disagree with Rudrakumaran

true atrocities happened in 2009 may and should be investigated but before that long long before thant the LTTE took away ALL DIGNITY FROM THE TAMILS

a very few examples given below

    1980’s
i)killing all opponents if they disaagree with them real (TELO ,PLOTE) St Johns Principal Anandarajah, all Tamil Police officers)

ii)Hijacking all new cars in Jaffna for thier use

iii) blasting the railway track so many times and the Jaffna citizen suffered as a result

    1990s

    i) imposing the PASS system wherby no one could leave Jaffna without obtaining permision from LTTE even for medical reasons they took a long time to approve it but for those between 13-35 they could only leave if someone stood as surety that they will return or they needed to give their house deeds

ii)never ever were they sincere in peace talks

iii) starting the war in June 90 without any reason when Premadasa was trying his best to please LTTE demands

    2000’s

i)using the CFA to kill so many people from political opponents to army men to policemen

ii)kidnapping Inspector Jeyaratnam of the Police and later executing him

iii)FORICIBLY RECRUITING CHILDREN and using them as front line troops any parent who opposed it was severly dealt with

iv)keeping the Vanni people as pawns and using them as pawns

the list goes on and on…………….

the same way i will oppose Leelas (K A Sumansekeras) nonsense i will do the same to this Rudrakumaran and his type

im sure many wont agree with what i said above but WHO GIVES A SHIT TO WHAT THEY THINK!

Can this PM even get a 30 day Visa to visit his Birth Place, let alone quench his thirst for an Eelaam?

Not until Sambandan , Ranil, and SF troika topple Rajapaksa?.

    Would that be a possibility?.

One would have to be a mug punter to put money on it.

Last year when I visited Sri Lanka I went with my wife to visit Jaffna. Despite a lot of family members advising us to travel by air, we decided to take one of those special buses from Wellawatta for the experience (and it was lot cheaper too!). It was utter chaos at the “unofficial” bus terminal where hundreds of buses were constantly in and out. I believe we were the only 2 Sinhalese. As we were not sure which bust to take, we had to ask several people about the correct bus and most of them were clueless as we were. Finally, a Tamil businessman advised us how to identify the right bus, which we eventually got into. The journey was a memorable one and again we were the only Sinhalese in the bus, but never felt out of place. Once in Jaffna we walked to the hotel and were very courteously and cordially received at the reception by two Tamil youths. I am sure by our names and appearance they new we were Sinhalese. We were promptly given the room although we arrived about 6 hours before the check-in time. If they wanted to mistreat us they could have easily said the room is not ready and let us suffer for 6 hours out in the lobby (and there was not that much of a lobby anyway).

When we want to go on a tour they arranged a hotel car and told the driver (who was not very conversant in English or Sinhala) where to take us. He did the morning part of the tour actively trying to engage in conversation with us in spite the language barrier. The afternoon part of the tour was done by another Tamil youth in his late to mid-20’s, who could have easily been a member of the LTTE (I am not saying he was, but I don’t see how a well built guy like that could have missed the tiger’s eye!). He had a good command in Sinhala and we happily chatted all the way through the journey in Sinhala, but none of us every mentioned the war. It was such a pleasant day and I believe the war was the the last thing that either of us wanted to talk about. Further, although beforehand we told him the place that we wanted to go, on his own he took us to at least two other sites that we did not even know existed. One site was amazing ancient Buddhist stupas that were hidden in some nondescript village. He got down with us and travelled to all sites and tried to explain as much as he could. If he despised Sinhalese he could have just stayed in the car and let is go and see whatever we can.

On our way back we chose to travel in a normal CTB bus, which as full of Tamils. When we were passing the famous fallen water tower, the Tamil youth, who was sitting next to us and realising that we were Sinhalese and visiting his neck of the woods for the first time, took the trouble to poke me on the shoulder and show us the fallen water tower explaining as much as possible what happened in broken Sinhala.

All through this two days I can honestly say I did not experience a single incidence of animosity toward us buy any Tamil. Even when I went to the heart of the town looking for the correct bus stand, people stopped what they were doing and came out to show me the road by hand gestures.

This purpose of this story is simple as the story itself. Rudara, while people like you and your off-springs while enjoying the comfort and safety of your homes in the UK, there are millions of Tamils and Sinhalese out there in Sri Lanka mingling freely and trying to make a living for their families. A Tamil homeland is the farthest thing in their mind. There are enough things to keep them occupied throughout the day rather than pandering to your idea dreamland. While, while you and your pathetic group is burdened by the defeatist inferiority complex, and wage an armchair revolution from the comfort of your homes, your people are now free to travel anywhere in the country and make do whatever they can to better their lives. The mindless and idiotic activities of groups like you only help in providing ample reason for organisations like BBS to come up with counter organisations and the SL government to justify oppression of people.

The funny thing Mr Ruda is that we never felt that we were among “different” people during those two days and I bet this how most people feel in Sri Lanka.

It is time the international community told them so ! They are nothing but a bunch of pretenders living off money collected under dubious circumstances (not to mention blood money) and trying to justify their existence for a first world lifestyle and economic refugee status.

Most of the Diaspora and specially their first world reared offspring, wont last the month of April in Jaffna !

Truth_seeker, my experiences during a three day visit to Jaffna was the same as yours.

I stopped to look at the well maintained premises of Vembadi & Hindu Ladies schools. I did not spot even one piece of paper anywhere in the premises. The pin drop silence and the orderly manner, in which the bicycles and the teacher’s scooters were parked, convinced me that they are better than any girl’s school in any other country. My prediction is that within ten years, Tamil parents living abroad, who are concerned about the discipline and morals of their young daughters, will come back to give their daughters a good education in such schools.

The GDP of Northern Province was growing at 22% per year and I hear it has increased to 27% in 2012, because over 90% of the loans taken by the government were invested in improving the infrastructure in the Northern Province.

“The GDP of Northern Province was growing at 22% per year and I hear it has increased to 27% in 2012, because over 90% of the loans taken by the government were invested in improving the infrastructure in the Northern Province”.

An Economist in Point Pedro pointed that this figure compared with
6.5% for the Island is a dirty trick – in that the salaries of
a lakh of Army/Navy Officers served to show this figure and correctly.

If development is to be compared, it should be with Hambantota!

In reality , the increase was from near zero before the war ended in 2009 to whatever figure that was arrived at after the war. This was a spike to be expected, for reasons given by Dr.Sarvananda.

The most interesting part is that a LTTE terrorist still can mourn the loss of their military power and dream of regaining it while living in USA while Sri Lanka is getting battered at UNHRC under the guidance of same USA and a Tamil commissioner.

What a meek speech could this have been, I wonder what the mindset was of the people who were present and listening to this pathetic fool of a human. Thirty years of wrong political ideals and foolish actions that have put paid to the lives, limbs and wealth of those dead and living, he comes out with a piece literary bull all the while being sheltered and protected in a cosy foreign land with the monies derived out of the poor departed and mimed souls.
I hope you will meet your Waterloo at the hands of your own kind.
Leave the innocent and peace loving Tamil gentry co-exist with the sinhalese, Muslims and Burghers. They don’t need an EELAM nor fifty/fifty solution.
Look around the universal map and find a little peace of land which can be bought with your cash and make the future TGTE LAND.And breed your own kind.

That was similar to the language the great Margaret Thatcher, one of the most successful and strongest of recent British PMs, said of
Mandela and his colleagues – in Exile then in Lusaka. This was sometime
in the early 1980s. I don’t venture TGTE will accomplish all that it
seeks to – but it will be unwise to totally ignore them.

    ‘Four years ago,…..”

Actually, the Story starts much earlier

    1948;

“Sir Ivor Jennings and Lord Soulbury did not have the foresight to understand the rise of Sinhala Nationalism and Racism and opportunism. They provided a poor constitution that permitted SWRD Bandaranaike to come in to power and make Sinhala only the official language in 24 hours.”

Lord Soulbury, did not understand the cunning Racist Sinhalas and Racist Tamils who did not trust each other, and gave the key to the warehouse with a very weak lock to the Sinhala Racists. It was so easy to break. Break they did and read the history.

Lord Soulbury did not put sufficient checks and balances, with human rights, religious rights, separation of church and state and needing 90% majority to change certain provisions fundamental rights provisions etc. The result was the the death of many Souls, Lord Saul-buries.

These Lords are the guys who trusted Hitler, and handed over Sudetenland Land and Czechoslovakia to the Nazis. Similarly, they did the same in Sri Lanka, paving the way for the Sinhala Buddhist Nazis and Nazi Monks to run amok.

We need to find the lack of foresight of the Lord Soulbury in Ceylon, for burying many souls in Sri Lanka, just the same way, Nevile Chamberlains appeasement policy lead to the burying of millions of souls during Word War II.

He was not alone. There was another British Governor in India, that did the same thing,Lord Mountbatten, resulting in the deaths of millions.

If reader Mr Amarasiri will not mind my taking a different view, I think both Jennings and Lord Soulbury knew for certain “the coming colours” in the Sinhala polity. This is clearly why they introduced the Entrenched Clause 29C in Jennings’ Constitution. What they did not expect is that at some point Lankan politics would decay to such a sorry state where prejudice will yield to reason and where decent and highly educated men will sink to sheer dishonour. We witnessed this when Colvin introduced his 1972 Constitution – allegedly to make up with the Sinhala hawks in Mrs B’s Cabinet so that the political fortunes of the LSSP will be advanced.

Whether the heavy price the nation paid in the interim and the 30 year war was consequent adventurism will remain debatable – as many a time
Tissa Vitharna made shallow attempts to justify the wrongs of 1972 of his uncle and Cabinet colleagues.

When Colvin was promoting the 72 constitution at the YMCA hall in Colombo; he was asked about the unfairness of the number of seats in parliament not reflecting the number of votes cast to a seat outside of parliament. His response was that “it was a proportionately diminishing distortion”. This change subsequently resulted in the LSSP receiving more votes than the TULF not having a single seat in parliament and Amirthaligham with less aggregate votes to the TULF than the LSSP becoming the leader of the opposition.

Soulbury has expressed regrets subsequently that he should have give Ceylon a constitution similar to India when feeling sorry for the post independence happenings there. I suspect that the colonial power did what it thought would serve its interests better. In the Middle East they separated Kuwait and in Ceylon joined two nations for their future prospects like the China bay base as well as being able to finger like how India kept VP alive.

Let’s hope Prince Charlie with his is maverick streak and style does something to ameliorate the minorities’ predicament but that too seems doubtful with the present seven headed king Rawana at the helm. It seems the Ramayana may have to be re-enacted in a newer, MODERN AND DIFFERENT style IN KEEPING WITH THE 21ST CENTUARY.

Is that not what you are doing with a cowardly, moronic and fictitious name like Jim Softy because you don’t understand the meaning of “Greek tragedies can happen anywhere? All that is required are rulers blinded by hubristic ambition and people habituated into self-deception” and by another equally wiser one “The nature of the universe is such that ends can never justify the means. On the contrary, the means always determine the end.”(Aldous Huxley).

LTTE financial member Rudrakumaran has done well out of Prabakaran debacle.

Whilst the, Leader and all his Colonels and Brigadiers perished in Mulikavel jungles , Rudra got a promotion to be a PM of the Diaspora Eelaam.

He now moves around with the A list in World Politics such as the Prime Ministers of Britain and Canada.

Even Leders of countries which have over One Billion Inhabitants and aspire to join the A list of super powers are now fine tuning or tweeking their politics to satisfy the demands the Eelaam PM.

There are no challengers to his position in sight at least in the near term, considering the quality of the other two LTTE members calling the shots in Britain and Norway.

Cananda which has the highest congregation of LTTE past and prest members, never had a leader among them.

So PM Rudrankumaran is there for the long haul.

Not a bad achievement for a solicitor whose main job was giving legal advice to Prabakaran and in light of the more qualified and experienced ex legal fraternity of Srilankan origin mainly earn a living from providing migration advice and conveyancing work.

How kind of you to remember me, dear Seran. I have already written earlier the Rajapakses must take the TGTE seriously and
engage them in the interest of pragmatism – leaving ego aside. The alternative will be that dubious fate this generation of the 2nd XI Ruhunu Rajapakse clan to complete what their father provided as a solution in 1958 when SWRD has summonsed his Parliamentary Group Meeting post-1958 pogrom against Tamils for consultations on what they should do about the dangerously widening racial chasm. UT(J)HR in their Reports, quoting from the media of the day, recorded the senior Rajapakse shocked SWRD by calling “kill them all” – which naturally infuriated the liberal SWRD who was by no stretch of imagination a violent man. Apparently, the genetic factor continues the disposition across the generational gap. 6 decades is long enough to leave beside
bestiality in our nature and learn to live by the teachings of one of India’s greast Sons – Gauthama, the Buddha – whom the Sinhalese too have taken as a model leaving behind their earlier animistic incarnation.

    Mr. Rudrakumaran:

    Prime Minister for NOWHERE:

You had the courage and self respect to say that Sinhalas took your peoples’ dignity and lives when it was you were a member of the gang who treated and equated Tamils to simply human animals.

Just tell us who made tamils to be human bombs, who recruited children to fight for the country that you want and who took your own as hostages in order to win a country ?

Man, you understand what SELF-RESPECT is ? What is the mind set of both you and the people who listened to this crying- out-loud story ?

TGTE is now splitted into two. Rudra kumaran is PM for one section. Other section is under the notorious political criminal S.Thiruchelvam in Canada. Thiruchelvam is another PM of DEMOCRATIC TGTE.

Rudrakumaran endedup in USA after a Green card lottery! But this PM cannot come to Canada because many Tamils will beat him because he cheated many asylum seekers in USA and cheated them of their “bond” money in millions!

He further has the “key” of the Prabhakaran’s Swiss Bank accounts. That is the “strength” he has now!

Time to time he barks to foll the Tamils who are still giving dollars!
