Gota Puts Two Top Magistrates Under Heavy Surveillance

The homes, chambers and vehicles of two senior magistrates have been bugged by military intelligence, as the Gotabaya Rajapaksa administration continues its crackdown on public servants who have shown a strong sense of independence even after the November 16th presidential election.

Colombo Telegraph learns that the judges have been placed under the highest possible surveillance in the hope that the bugging will implicate them as being in league with opposition politicians or other vested interests.

The Government of President Gotabaya Rajapaksa is claiming to have discovered recorded conversations implicating both magistrates among the trove of recorded telephone calls found in UNP MP Ranjan Ramanayake’s home.

However, Colombo Telegraph learns that this claim about the recordings involving the two judges is a blatant fabrication, much like the claims made in a Sunday English newspaper last week that a recording existed of former CID Director Shani Abeysekera admitting to being the source on a New York Times article published in 2018 about how the Chinese company building the Port City in Colombo paid the Mahinda Rajapaksa election campaign USD 7 million. Issuing a statement the New York Times said the newspaper had “incorrectly” claimed to have identified its source on the article. The US based newspaper also said it was “always troubled by attempts to publicly disclose sources” because they intimidated people from speaking to the press.

While cherry picking recordings to release and cause maximum discomfort to its political opponents, members of the Gotabaya Rajapaksa administration are making wild claims about recordings that do not exist Colombo Telegraph reliably learns. The regime is preying on the uncertainty about volume of recordings in its custody, and the damning implications of some of the leaked tapes to maintain its fabricated claims.

Both judges have shown strong streaks of independence even during the Yahapalanaya regime.

Powerful sections of the Gotabaya Rajapaksa administration are irritated by decisions made by both magistrates to grant bail to suspects arrested by the police on the basis of politically motivated witch-hunts.

Colombo Chief Magistrate Lanka Jayaratne and Fort Magistrate Ranga Dissanayake have found themselves in the regime’s crosshairs.

Colombo Chief Magistrate Lanka Jayaratne earned the new administration’s ire when she granted bail to former Minister Rajitha Senaratne.

After initially remanding her for 14 days, the Colombo Chief Magistrate also granted bail to Swiss Embassy local staff member Garnier Banister Francis who was arrested on charges of giving a false statement after she claimed to have been abducted and detained against her will

Jayaratne also raked Gotabaya Rajapaksa’s “new” CID over the coals in court recently when the white van press conference case came up for hearing. The Colombo Chief Magistrate informed the CID that it had made arrests without court orders using charges under which arrests without an order from court were not possible, in the case of at least one of the suspects, the former State Pharmaceuticals Corporation Chairman.

Fort Magistrate Ranga Dissanayake has long been seen as a problem for the Rajapaksa administration, after he filed contempt charges against Bodu Bala Sena General Secretary Galagoda Atte Gnanasara Thero in the Court of Appeal which convicted the notorious monk to 6 years in prison for the offence of threatening the wife of Prageeth Ekneligoda inside the Homagama Magistrate’s Court where Magistrate Dissanayake was presiding. Dissanayake has since been appointed as Fort Magistrate where he has been overseeing the investigation into a kidnapping ring run by the Sri Lanka Navy that resulted in the abduction and suspected murder of 11 young Tamil and Muslim men. As part of this investigation, Dissanayake had the dubious honour of becoming the magistrate to place the country’s highest ranking military officer in remand in December 2018. Former Chief of Defence Staff Ravindra Wijegunaratne was arrested and remanded for aiding and abetting the ringleader of the abduction racket Navy Sampath to evade the law. Other senior naval personnel are also implicated in the investigation, including former Navy Commander Wasantha Karannagoda and former Navy Spokesman D.K.P Dassanayake both of whom are being indicted by the attorney general for their roles in the abduction racket. The Gotabaya Rajapaksa regime recently promoted Dassanayake, a long standing friend of the Rajapaksa family, as rear admiral, with a view to making him the next Navy Commander, even as the naval intelligence official faces trial by a special trial at bar set to be appointed by the Chief Justice.(By Janakie Mediwake)

Gota would not do anything unique to his pledges being unique to him, being opposed to his BARBARIC BROTHER Mahinda did it with lanken legal system. Remember how they interferfed in CJ dismissal ?

How can this bugger go for this – if he respects the 19 Amendment to current constitution and the commissions that worked regarding numerous crime investigations.

That Sugandhika Fernando the young lawyer and Senior Lawyer most known Mr Nagananda Kodithuwakku repeated that LANKEN legal system is highly abused. We perfectly know how this bugger himself escaped from courts cases also about that FUNDs fraud based on having built monuments with state funds. The sum calculated was over 30 millions. 300 lacks of rupees.

Why on earth any JUDGE had no guts to put the man behind the bars ? if OUR so called COURTs are independent ?
Telling the world that LANKEN judiciary is independent and capable, but not having done th eleast regarding high crimes investigations – also incl. Thajdudeen MISTERIOUS killing by Rajapakshe family.

Bunjappu – I concur, but what can we do when some of our grass-eating voters have elected an American citizen and a war criminal by the name of Gotler as their president. All his crimes which were before the courts are now in limbo! He is Sorry Lanka’s president, so he is one of the untouchables!

No woman. The world loves them because they do what they are told. ACSA, MCC, SOFA, etc. Anything for that matter. They only have to fool the Sinhalese which is very easy. Natural fools.

Seriously, why and what do they care about Tamils anyway? Think. USA is behind the Rajapaksha family all along.

“World has put two top Rajapakses under surveillance.”

          Who told you?

LTTE who are the descendants of Dravida slaves do not like Rajapakses because they demolished the myth created by ‘Para’ Demalu that they can not be defeated militarily. This is not the first time Sinhalayo fked Dravida invaders. Before 1505, Native Sinhalayo did that 52 times but Demala imbeciles did not learn a lesson.

          Dr GS,
your comparison of the Rajapakses to Idi Amin is a load of horse shit.
Velupillai Prabhakaran is the same as Idi Amin, but VP got it in his head whereas Idi Amin died a vagrant and a rotter. Both are same blood thirsty bastards who are rotting in the sewers of Hell in real time.
Dr GS just shut your bloody trap and live the last days of your life in a country that has the goodness to give you refugee status and world class benefits.
Wonder how many Wankers like you are there in the UK with one foot in Sri lanka and the other in UK. Its a pity that turncoats like you survive.

I now believe that could be a bait to get them caught.

Let s wait and see, I have no doubt, any leaders that started that way, ended up being drains. Best example is the end of Gadafi.

I dont overestimate the profile of GOTA…. as the lanken press has painted out sofar. I am patient and watch out .. Before long we will see the outcome.

Trust me, these men will have to face it to the manner Gadafi families ended up being found in Drans.
Truths will succeed If NOT today oneday.

        Meer,
You got it wrong. Grass-eating voters voted to ‘Pad Man’ and majority of them are Demalu and Muslims. This time Native Sinhalayo took the right decision and elected the right person. If the descendants of Dravida slaves who got fked up by Rajapakses and Wahabi Muslims do not like him they can go to hell.

To me this ‘Eagle eye’ has only a small brain and spews venom. Calls the tamil with a derogatory term “demalu’. If you know history you will know the dravidian invaders , and the cinnamon peelers and weavers who came from india before 1505 had married the native women and had children. In that context most of us have mixed blood don’t we?

she tearfully stated – love was blind, if not for the children and their kids I would have a cyanide capsule or two which was magnanimously given to me by the supposed to be late thalivar of the Tamil people velu thambi instead of wasting my life with an ungrateful mangy moron. he said your life and wellbeing is of paramount value to the worldwide tamils, why don’t you mix it with his food the greedy dumpling he is he will gulp it down and within a minute or two he will be a history of a historian.

      Colombo Telegraph,

Gota is telegraphing to join the Tribe.

Most of the Para-Sinhala Para-“Buddhist” imbeciles, mean IQ 79, have joined the tribe and voted for the tribe.

The imbeciles continue to prostrate to the monks, who hijacked Buddhism, and called it Buddha-agama, the religion of the Buddha, in order to receive the prostrations.

        14

        Amanasiri,
Among clergy in all the religions there are few rotten eggs. In terms of child molesting Christian clergy are at the top. Even during Buddha’s time there were homosexual monks in Hindusthan. So Buddha laid down rules on this in Vinaya Pitaka. Simply because there are a few rotten eggs you should not put all of them into the same basket. You do that as a NGO sucker who get paid to do that. Buddhist Monks and Sinhala Buddhists are not imbeciles like those who prostrate in front of ‘Linga’. We are capable of handling our own affairs. We suggest that you who learnt Buddhism from ‘Para’ Dravida Christian Thambiah mind your business.

        • 4
          2

          Eagle Confused Eye ,

It is about hegemony, Monk hegemony, priest hegemony etc.

The monks hi-jacked Buddhism . The priests hijacked Christianity. The Ulama hi jacked Islam.

Even though there are a few rotten eggs, why prostrate wholesale to rotten eggs and even non-rotten eggs? Even if there are no rotten eggs, prostration establishes, traditionalizes and institutionalizes prostration, that gets the imbeciles, nowhere. It only establishes Monk hegemony.

In summary, the imbeciles are turned into suckers. This is pure deception. While Buddhagama, Para-Sinhala Para-“Buddhism” is not alone in this deception, this is a major deception in the Land of Native Veddah Aethho, along with many other deceptions, made possible by the low mean IQ of 79 of the imbeciles.

By the way Amarasiri is not an agent of anybody, Monk, priest, Ulama, NGO, etc . Amarasiri is after the truth, and will dig and bore, to get the truth out.

For many, the truth hurts. That is what happens, when myths are busted by good science, observations, data and good reason. This is hard for imbeciles to digest. They get indigestion.

          • 1
            0

Amarasiri you are making a mistake. You say ‘Amarasiri is after the truth, and will dig and bore, to get the truth out……myths are busted by good science, observations, data and good reason’.
            .
How do you go about doing this? The instrument you use is your brain. But Science does not really know how the human brain works! The human brain may be faulty! All users beware! You have no user manual. Even my comments, as they start off in the brain, may be wrong!
            .
Freud once said ‘Psychoanalysis paints a troubling picture of human beings. It reveals a mind divided against itself, lacking self-knowledge and governed by unruly instinctual impulses.’ Freud showed that we are not even at home in our own minds. “The ego” he said “is not master in its own house”
            .
You can see that Freud had ‘discovered’ some aspects of Buddhist teaching.
So what to do? How about leaving reason, ideas and opinions to one side and training the mind to focus on one thing? That is the Buddhist way. It leads to direct personal knowledge and certainty.

I think I now understand why Eagle Eye is this screwed-up. So who was the culprit, the catholic priest or Hindu priest?

“Buddhist Monks and Sinhala Buddhists are not imbeciles”
          their actions says otherwise.

“Buddhist Monks and Sinhala Buddhists are not imbeciles”.

Sorry Lanka,s Loo and Odor. There are plenty of criminals and murderers out there, instead our Govt is after CID ,intelligence officers and judges.. How pathetic it will be to see the accused visiting those who put them behind bars , in the first place.(not even funny anymore). And to add further, they are letting the criminals and murders, out of prison including Park street murderer, Mirusuvil murderer and Ganasara are now roaming among us where as Pujitha, Hema (still not charged ),looks like Shani will follow them soon into prison.Soon Pillayan and Duminda also will be freed, where as Ranjan, Rajitha and Pattali may fill up those spaces. In future , judiciary in Lanka will be apprehensive and in fear ,delivering verdicts and even facing some of them in courts. Our BASL which voices opinions on foreign policies and other non relevant issues has nothing to say on this. In the mean time , following Eva, Sarath and Mohan , (must me enjoying this show) are patiently waiting for their turn /appointments , to get approved by the very special selection board.

“MILITARIZATION” for “DICTATORSHIP” has begun. Now the President has entrusted the “Supervision” of appointment of 100,000 persons and the offer of “Relief” to low income families, to the “State Intelligence” service. Yesterday, 5 accused in Avant Guard” have been “Acquitted”, including the, then Asst. Secretary , under the then Secretary Defense, who “Escaped” to Australia. This lady was required by the FCID to record a statement at which point she slowly scooted off to Australia and still living there. That is an example of how the Law Enforcement is “TUNED” up to be to FIT into the “CHOSEN” system. As a further BOOST, the SLFP under ex President’s Chairmanship has decided to support GR in the Parliamentary Election to secure a “2/3rd Majority”. Not that even the, history of “5/6th” could even be beaten by the “Voters” who are said to be “98.5” intellects.

      Douglas,
Not just two judges; I believe that GoRa has placed a lot many from various fields under surveillance. This is nothing for him as he used used to do the same even on their own cabinet members. Even though MY 3 and his friends in the SLFP are pledging the fullest support to GoRa (certainly for lack of any other option for political survival), they are the ones who suffered most from GoRa/MaRa spying. If this the way GoRa behaves with a minority Gvt, watch out if SLPP win the parliamentary majority! Even a simple majority would be a disaster!

As I kept saying over & again, this behavior of GoRa is very easy to predict for three reasons: 1. His penchant for military type rule; 2. His disability of anger management likely caused by mental decease known as Bipolar Syndrome; and, 3. the need to control the public from rising against the Gvt due to the near-certain rising cost of living & scarcities.

Douglas: You talk about militarization. There are countries where military service, for at least a limited time period’ is essential for every body. Why that is bad for Sri Lanka. At least, without weapon training, provides much needed discipline etc.
If Sri Lanka is to grow up we need a DICTATOR in sri lanka because the parliament is simply a big gang of Criminals of all kinds.

      Douglas

      ““MILITARIZATION” for “DICTATORSHIP” has begun.”

Not really, MILITARIZATION took a brief respite between 2015 and 2019. It was a police state between 1970 and 1977, then the country was gradually militarised since 1977. In other words we breathed democracy only for a few years. Even between 2015 and 2019 the governments didn’t or mean to dismantle the structures which supported militarisation.

Under the weeping widow the police state got momentum starting with racist internal borders/checkposts first erected in Elephant Pass in early 1960s.

People who are suffering from myopia still believe this is a democratic country.

Only thing I understand is in those Yahapalana days, Ranil was considered a strong vice- president. May be Ranil was or Media wanted that. So Maithripals became a not that strong president. I read the transcript of Ranjan’s phone conversation with IP Nishantha Silva, where the latter refuses to give Ranjan copies of the various cases/ investigations that he is handling. This shows Silva’s adherence to police regulations and the law.

Why has the pro-government media become silent over the Swiss embassy case? Because IP Silva took all the critical files with him when he fled to Switzerland, and the Swiss authorities probably have these files now. That also means they have GR, MR and other criminals by their balls.

Current Minister Johnston was kept behind bars for 9 months on false charges.
Senadhipathy who earned valuable FX for our Treasury is still behind Bars for not pleasing the Yahapalana Rulers .

Udaya Gammanpilla was was dragged over the Coals on false allegations by a crooked Aussie who ended behind Bars in his own Native Land.

Then are are great Buddhist Monks who were locked up for feeding Baby Elephants or being not nice to Complainants in Court.
In fact the latter resulted in a Monk being jailed for 6 years..-

Then there were Yahapalana Ministers who were involved in Hit & Run accidents, but released with all clear verdicts.

Duminda Silva getting death sentences although he was incapacitated at the time of shooting his Revolver.

Then there were other MPs talking to CID Sleuths about who to arrest and who should be prosecuted. on a daily basis.

Some MPs who were in contempt of court never came to court even with Warrants hanging over their heads.

A Minister who manhandled a Magistrate was never charged for even contempt of court.

Even after the new President came, previous Ministers were evading arrest by going into Hospitals and recuperating until the warrant expires.
Then there was Mr Ranjan who was on the Blower to not only Magistartes but also to the High Court Judges talking about Court Cases and Judgements.

Even the PM at the time was on the Blower with some Ministers giving instructions on how to cover up the charges of discharging a Fire Arm in Public.

    The list goes and on.
And thankfully they all stored in I Cloud for posterity.

It is not fair for us to Judge the Judges.
But there are impeccable evidence that the scales of that Virgin were not evenly balanced.

So, at last, you have accepted Sri Lankan judiciary is corrupt and no fair justice is available. This is what the Diaspora and the Tamils here in Sri Lanka has been telling we need foreign hudges to get a fair trial and justice.

Thank you, we will also quote you to win justice to the so many disappeared Tamils after being taken away by the security force merders in front of their familes.

Ok, but why are you so pathetically biased?
Why not come out with a list of the Rajapakse govt’s exploits as well, in the same vein?

So you are nothing but a prisoner of your own mind..

Now tell us when did you decide to become his b***s carrier. It appears that your career is taking a nosedive, from somewhat an able b***s carrier to Mahinda, to Dayan, Weerawansa, to now Udhaya. If you want to be the best in the trade you should be carrying Gota’s and not cheap Udhaya’s.

However could you explain to us how a smartass patriots like Udhaya’s family could have a divided loyalty towards this island, his parents are well settled in Australia so are his wife and children. Why is he keeping his assets worth $5 million in Australia?

If Gota could why not his serfs?

This is what I heard after the US envoy Ms. Welles met President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa just two days ago:
“That President Trump delivered a letter to President Rajapaksa is a clear signal that the U.S. is prepared to strengthen its ties with the new Government of Sri Lanka on the contrary to the views held in some quarters of Sri Lanka that relations will sour under the new set up here because of policy differences as far as human rights and minority issues are concerned.
Ms. Welles outlined this constructive partnership sought after by her country was something beneficial to both the countries and with significant potential, particularly given President Trump’s broader vision on the Indo-Pacific region.
“We were able to discuss the dimensions of the Indo-pacific region with emphasis on increasing trade and investment as well as enhancing governance that allows for increase in investment,” she said.”
On the same day, a special envoy from Japan, the Russian Foreign Minister, and the Chinese foreign minister also met President GR. The two Super Powers have promised the President that they would support Sri Lanka at Geneva!
My question to all of you is who is trying to give us a run around? CT or other media?

“On the same day, a special envoy from Japan, the Russian Foreign Minister, and the Chinese foreign minister also met President GR. The two Super Powers have promised the President that they would support Sri Lanka at Geneva!”

Come on, this was stated by Mahinda not by those envoys.
G L Pieris fresh from his return told the media China was willing to protect Sri Lanka at Geneva, this was about 6/7 years ago. The next day China refuted his claim. These shameless politicians never learn to stop lying.

If worse comes to worst will China and or Russia go to war with Hindia or USA on behalf of Sri Lanka?

      Pon Kulendiren,
“One day Rajapakse dynasty will payback for the sins they have committed.”

What is the sin Rajapakse dynasty committed? Killing your ‘Sun God’ megalomaniac Prabhakaran who gave the leadership to ‘Para’ Dravida LTTE terrorists to kill Native Sinhalayo. Although killing is a sin according to Buddhism, in this case the ‘Chethana’ (intention) was good. They had to do that to save the lives of who knows how many that could have been slaughtered by LTTE barbarians.

any other civilised country in the world will expect the countries Bar Assn will come to protect the rule of law. In our blessed isle Kalinga Indatissa a Pohottu lawyer will not go against Gota at all. Its a shame that Lawyers did vote for him knowing his corrupt deals with the Rajapaksas for years.

Hey Gota voters, are you happy you have a vindictive man on the top, who is going after his political rivals, journalists, and activists, who have stood up to him? Are you happy he is appointing his family members, in laws, outlaws, and unqualified creatures, who will all say “yes sir” when he asks him to break the laws and rules?
You will rue the day you voted for this American man, but it will be too late.

You got it wrong mate. Sinhala voters who voted for that ahole Gamarala in 2015 and ended up having anti-Sinhala anti-Buddhist Don Juan Dharmapala (reincarnated) as the PM learnt from the mistake they did in 2015 and did not commit a similar mistake at the last Presidential election. Native Sinhalayo are not imbeciles as Amanasiri thinks.

Actually GOTA is doing pretty well to develop this country. You all look through the different glasses wore in the past. Be present. Look at what he does today. Our public systems are outdated and fully corrupted. Somebody need to look into and correct it. He should have a backbone and with genuine intention. We have seen how Yahapalana did their way. Ridiculous. We will support new President if he do the right thing irrespective his past.

    We need a good country.

He is not going to stop until he destroys the entire country.

The Ranjan saga is part of the politics of distraction – from the foreign Drone that brought down the Sri Lanka Air Force plane when it was on a reconnaissance flight to the Eastern Province where the US owned ISIL is setting up its Caliphate..

However none of the media or CT has had a story on the crash of the helicopter. Now drones have been allowed back into Lankan airspace after US officials visisted Lanka while the MCC land grab project is being covertly pushed by US citizen Gota and his hand picked killer of motocyclists Minister Chandrasena..

Is this surprise you ? Country’s intelligence arm need domestic and foreign trouble makers on their site and recently Sri Lankan expat who is an expert in this area donated “cell-site simulators” to countries intelligence arm. He come from a real patriot family but does not live in SL.
Legal deniability ( since no ISP involved) is in place and very soon we will get all those morons in this net.
UNP try to dilute our intelligence arms and with these all these village idiots are on target that pushing the country to anarchy.

The Judiciary of function ,and operation of administration legal courts has been reported so many foul played by MP Ranjai Ramanayake of UNP Member of Parliment that 2015 Jan 8th.
The cases involvement of verdicts by Ranjian… are innumerable and that was unknown to the voters of Sri Lankan.
By and large that mode of operation of UNP has interfere of Judiciary, due to that its lost that so-called “Impartiality” and “equality before the law” of our soil. Consequences that law of sovereignty has been disappear once and for all; fundamental mission of ‘Liberal Democracy’ values has been submerge of Summum Bonum of that principle pillar ‘rule of Law’ by UNP’s Ranjan R….!

So that MP of Ranjan R was and he has taken upper-hand to influences to that all cases before courts and its verdicts.
Therefor of political intention of UNP – Ranil Wicks and his gang wanted for favorable Judgement for to be remain that political- power for EVER.

That was role played by RR of MP,who was assigned by Ranil Wicks of UNP.
The role of Judgment aim at politically motivated act against their opponents.
Which was called that for combat of “corruptions, frauds and scams” of Tax Payers funds…of public funds misused by previous regime under the MR and alliance.
Then Ranjan R become “HERO of FIGHTING” against spiral of corruptions by MR regime of previous rulers !
They called Rule by ” good governance” according to that leads by unholy alliance of that RW, MS and CBK……..?.
Who gave an authorities of power of politics to Ranjan R an ideas on that >stream of consciousness> by whom ? It was Ranil Wicks. ..of UNP.
It was team works of UNP and other members of alliance political parties that Establishment political panel of at Temple Trees of UNP official residence of Govt headquarter.

SC Judge Gehan Pilapitiya has written to the IGP saying the ex UNP Minister Mr Rajan Rama Alfonso threatened to kill him and his family if He did not give verdicts to convict Gotabaya and Bro Basil.

Justice Pilapitiya wants the IGP to take action against the Ex UNP Minister.

Prez Nandasena must have ordered these enhanced surveillance because of these threats to the Judiciary .
And it is commendable despite these spin doctors write ups.

Anyway the ex UNP Minister has even shaved his beautiful flock of hair. which earned him Billions on the Silver Screen even in new Savoy at Wellala Gardens .

That gesture was to show his solidarity with his UNP Mates in Kotte who are fighting tooth and Nail to save Him..-

Poor fella now acting as if he is gone mad to get a sick bed at the Magazine Hospital.
But his Kotte Mate , Duminda Silva is apparently , impatiently waiting for his ex UNP Minister’s arrival,, watching the entrance from his Hospital Bed.

My Elders tell me Mental patients in Welikada are usually transferred to Angoda..
    -.
Wonder whether the UNP MP Lawyers who took Selfies with the UNP Actor Minister gave the mate some valuable Legal advice?..

The new reign of GR began working new 21 st century an Era.The nation movement for that 16 November 2019 has claim for that Democracy and Legal Rights has to be moderate and should be reasonable. It is while claim for that prosperity of whole country of Sri lanka by GR current administration .
Well last regime of Ranil Wicks ,MS and CBK of whole lot of UNP & their alliances denied that rights of Judiciary and Democratic enjoyed by People sovereignty last 65 years ….since 1948. The legal rights of Judiciary, hence that Rights of Rule of Law was the most precious treasure that it placed under that UNP leaders and Member Parliment. Needless to say that >equality before law> was undermined by UNP’s leaders and they become above law of land.

We are in period of Restoration of sovereignty of law that solemnly accepted by GR administration since 16 November 2019 movement for Democrat New form of governance. It sovereignty of Island nation, that known how to keep and guard through perils and through oppression by UNP regime.
By the way that ongoing current governance by GR & MR working on FULL and FREE representation of our country taking into most serious consideration that best means to achieve ends of Democracy.
In reality of legal rules stretches over Social, Political and living life of economic which are constantly crossed by the lines of judiciary Rights and Obligation.
A person of a process may prove of value by solid FACTS and ACTS in Law. This rule of facts has denied by UNP rule of Law?
How can that we trust and win confidence of nation judiciary under gang of Ranil Wicks regime?

President’s action is arbitrary and in violation of Sri Lanka’s Constitution.
He has no right whatsoever to keep judges under the surveillance of “his” bull dogs. No civil President will do that. Only a military ruler will think about such undemocratic practices.
According to the Constitution, the Judiciary is an independent body which is above the Executive and the Legislature.
Instead of conducting an impartial investigation, the Judicial Service Commission has sent recommendations about judges to the President, making the Judiciary INFERIOR to the Executive.
It is pretty obvious that the Judiciary is paralyzed with fear about the current Executive.
Sri Lanka is under a military tyrant.
The latest example is keeping Grama Niladharis under intelligence surveillance!!!!
The next dangerous move is storing all public data, such as, national identity cards, driver’s licenses, passports and birth certificates in a single system so that it is easy for intelligence officers to instill fear among the public. The slave government also tried to do this but later abandoned due to public protest as there was no law in protecting personal information.
What the U-turn President is currently doing is continue all the work commenced by the slave government that had been stalled due to public protest.
Anyone can see that after coming into power through Sinhalese Buddhists, the U-turn President is now all out to suppress the very people who elected him.
The Intelligence Act could be used to suppress the voice of citizens. Protecting intelligence officers who served during the war is one thing. But granting immunity to all intelligence officers en masse is a dangerous move.
Therefore, before passing the Intelligence Act, Parliament should have a second glance at it.

I know what CT is looking for. Questioning two Magistrates is nothing. There are other important things going on. People are aware. Besides, see how Chandrasena another with his foundation to deposit political donations had ran over Motor cyclist. That is a head on collision. Why he is not arrested yet. One person died (father). Two in hospital and one (Mother) with spinal chord injury. So, daughter’s life will be a hell one day. Minister will live in palaces and serve the people for life probably even on a wheel chair, Front of the luxury SUV has lot of damage. May become DITTA DHAMMA VEDANEEYA karma. Politicians think what ever happened, it is the same old DRAMA. What is it, Sri Lankan LAW is amenable and maleable to one’s needs ?
Important questions are Parliamentarians work only 110 days a year (only if they attend whole 110 days). Excluding their benefits and perks (so many) their Salary alone Rs 90 per pour. They are paid for the whole year.
I can write so many. Then, CT loses revenue. So, they will say, it is against the comment policy.
