“Gota’s Man” Duminda Silva And Four Others Sentenced To Death

Former monitoring MP of the Ministry of Defence Duminda Silva and 4 others were sentenced to death by the Colombo High Court today in a divided judgement over the Bharatha Lakshman Premachandra murder.

Duminda and Gota

Duminda and Gota

Premachandra was murdered in 2011.

In October 2011 the Colombo Telegraph reported how Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa had said that Silva was not his man, but was former Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa’s ‘man.’

He had made this statement to both Bharatha Lakshman Premachandra and former Prime Minister Rathnasiri Wickamanayake.

Informed sources told Colombo Telegraph that Just before his murder, Premachandra had complained to the President that Duminda Silva had given a contract to underworld thugs to murder him. President Rajapaksa had subsequently ordered the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) to investigate the alleged murder plot. Two underworld gangsters who were in police custody at that time had given statements to the CID confirming the murder plot.

MR may be under tremours. He may be thinking of his sons today more than had ever been before.

His head should reecho all his crimes again and again, as the last days of Hitler did it.

MRs usual prevarications did not set to the air yet today as of now about the verdict. If he would add anything supportive, that will be considered as going against the court. Since today is no means comparable as had been under his rule. Judges are free to give their verdicts.

Namal baby would be very sad to see the fate of his Duminda Aiya.

Maccoth ekka laggama wena jathi… We have to save DayanJayathilaka from the same line of problems. He stood with the guys and then left. May be his head could guide him and save his.

I am now waiting to hear the verdict of Wasim s murder.

On that only, we will be able to feel – justice is served.

NO DOUBT NAMAL and Yoshita Babies are now like crabs in hot water.

There will be no excuse – the law and order is above everything.

My respect to current rulers and people to have chased AWAY Rajapakshe crime friendly regime home.

Yes, the highest crimes are murders.

Namal and Yoshita according to the evidence being revealed, will have to see the same path of Duminda if all will be proved.

The coming colour is no good for the Rajakashe offsprings, big talks of the day would not save their bums – If they killed the young sportler… we need to join with the victimiized parties whoever the pertrator he or she has been.

We feel somewhat good today, having watched/listend the verdict, though we are not int he country.

Duminda was a headache to me and entire lanken society towards the PE days. I raised the question, how he happeend to distribute that much.. had not he been involved in drug mafia… telling the palatable, but did all harms to the lanken youth.. drug mafia will have to face it by every means.. merciless..

I do believe it was the bad company that guided them to the levels as allegations levelled at – Former President as a father could do better in raising his 3 offsprings.

Sadly, the war victory became and gave them a licence to do whatever they thought was right.
That ended up in all power intoxications making them high criminals.

I am sad for the Offsprings, Parents should and could have given them a better guidance.

Offsprings of european rich countries never allow their offsprings to behave the way Rajakashe did.
Even CBK as a single mother guided her two children to the top.
Their decent behaviours never jeopardized anything.

Recently, I happened to hear that Vimuktis efforts to save the stray dogs let most of them not being caught by killing squads. There were times, stray dogs were killed by Gotabaya men in elemination of Rabies in the country. But that could also do by injecting them against.. killing is not the remedy.

interestingly he was “Former monitoring MP of the Ministry of Defence Duminda Silva” its like handing
a fox to care for chicken… this drug baron need to be put to sleep asap…coz tgeres no hanging happening in SL…or implemented…this ass will be jailed..but due to good behaviour..hed be released in 10 or 15 yrs…moreover..he will be admitted to the merchent ward n claim he cant remember anything…he might also ask permission from court to travel to Singapore..Elizabeth hospital for treatment…n that will be enough for him to show the immigration of certain countries that he has USD500000 to BUY his residency….Bye bye SL….

If former secretary of defence had some degree of knowledge about the respect and saving respect, he could have been informed, that he should not have even been sittting with the kind of men.

These men in Rajakashe family, give no priority to sit with the educated.

He as the secretary of defence could open his eyes, as to how Duminda et al could be that rich – being that donated to the poor… where those monies came from etc.. that is how if a secretary or any other authority would do , if that have the least knowledge in the field.
I wonder why the people were that made that stupid, telling that this particular Secretary is highly intelligent etc… to have given a lead to lanken army.. anyways… all the lies and their realities surface by now.

Anyways, all these remind me ” ATHIGARU MAHINDA RAJAPAKSHE s name was repeated by the murderer Duminda how many times in the PE rallies “. These the kind of men became Chandias because Rajakashe rule was so ignorant with the law and order. No examples were set by MR regime so that crime free people would have been the product. All in all, his guidence took this nation to a level, no differ to Pakistanies

what’s the point of having a death sentence without implementing them for the last 25 years.Might as well call it a life sentence and a future president could pardon him.First execute those who have already been given a death sentence.

At last, some ray of hope in the Sri lanka Judiciary.

The front man of GOTA the GOAT convicted. Some consolation for the grieving family. Hope to see more dispensation of justice under YAHAPALANAYA. This would have been a mirage under MARA PALANAYA.

The 5.2 Million law abiding citizens wait to see the wheels of justice at work for the other gruesome murders as well, like Lasantha Wickramasinghe, Thajudeen and the likes.

Finally all the judgements will eventually lead to the obvious conclusion, the aiding and abetting of MARA Regime.

I hope the bugger doesn’t appeal the verdict in a higher court. The Jarapaksas must be shivering by now of the verdict.

That will for sure be not with a death penalty ?

What are u talking man – she is ready for any punishement. I am very proud of her being that brave to have fought to the end of her father murder case.

This is a real verdict – Duminda was protected by Maharaja keeping him in Singapore hospital for 2 years long.

At the time, former PM was in the same hospital, it had been revealed the bugger Duminda had no such fatal head injuries, but that was all blatant lies.

No sessions were taken part by Duminda repeating his condition dont allow him to remind anything.

That was in head lines of the press.

But Rajaakpakshe ballige putha rule made the nation even more fools.

On his return, he had not set the least signs to have undergone such injuries.

But medical analysts behaved srilankens are the all last fools.. showing medical source data lying to the entire world.

Today, the bugger has been among the criminals… Jayawewa… Yukthiya ituwewa.

The Hiru network of TV, Radio will totally be with Yahapalanaya then to wash their dirt. Case goes to Attorney General next. Everyone knows, whose man AG is. Finally Dumi will be out in the time to come.

So pleaes be aware of it. For him what matters is to add his 2cts worth supporting them. These men are the curse .. of lanken society.

No edcuation at all, but a village who subjected to brainwashing, these men too have been abused by all high criminals and their media units for such a long time. Consequences are more than being caught by drug addiction. Anyway, only way out for these Maxes are the rebab programs. Lanken govt should have to think of it rather than neglecting the issue.

Now who is going to be the implementer of the “DEATH”? Can some somebody wake up our grand old Alucosuwa Mahata Premachandra?

Certainly a victory to Hirunika. Still she should be careful until all appeals are over and made sure this he will be in. She is one fool below modaya level kept challenging the Old King. He threatened and bribed her in many many ways including a trial to hook her with his Princes. Baffoon De Silva, Mokan Peiris are not the height of the shame of Lankawe court system, but that was hight of shame. She survived to see the judgement. Next step should be recovering the cost Old King spent Singapore Hospital for Duminda Silva’s, from Old King’s and Duminda’s properties.

Old King saying that Duminda is Brother Prince Goalaya is very considerable statement. Prince might have had his chains while King was reluctant to see even a short term interruption.

They both competed to be the official suppliers to Royals. But the tender was won by the maji PM.

Ranil let this case go ahead because it was sure Duminda would not point his finger at Royal Family.

He is hell bent of protecting Old King. They learned easily on Pillaian with Pararajasingham’s case. That case difficult to see light.

Kathirgamar’s, Fernandopulle’s all of families have been locked in to other difficulties to ensure not bring their cases. Siripathi is one no one talks about. Raviraj is pending to infinity. Ranil unlikely let other cases to go ahead.

I can observe one thing out of the head line of this news item. CT is generally against Rajapakshes and specially Gotabhaya R.

This notorious Dumi Silva was a member of UNP first and then crossed over to SLFP. Like under yahapalanaya, previous regime also did give away lavishly ministerial posts to its members and Dumi S was appointed as monitoring minister for defense and urban development.

Dumi’s battle ground or rather the vote base was Colombo city and its shanty dwellers. After the eradication of LTTE menace, Gota’s task was town planning and beautification which he did a tremendous job. Dumi was behind him to tackle the shanty guys since it was necessary to move them out from govt own lands to newly built flats by the govt.

Thats how Dumi became the deputy of GR. Dumi did not have anything to do with national security or defense of the country.

Anyway, I welcome the verdict by the supreme court.

MR, GR , BR and the 3 boys must be shitting in their trousers now. MR tried to placate Hirunika with lies and it backfired. Both Bharatha and this guy were engaged in the same trade(if you know what I mean) and that is how they became enormously rich. One was a street level unrefined SLFP man who mostly spoke Sinhala and the other was from a more respectable upper class family but still a pathological mad man who crossed over from UNP. Remember the shootout and fracas over Anarakali?

So this is how it rolls. GR must be really having a psychotic breakdown.

Thousands of military officers must now be rolling in laughter. Gotta and his brother made this criminal minded individual (now a criminal itself) the supervising minister of the Ministry of Defence; they made those professional soldiers bow to this uneducated, scum criminal, against their wish and conscience. At last now they can have their last laugh, the parasite, the vermin criminal cut down to size; hope he rots in jail.

What matters is the education. If there is no education, thing can even fall much deeper. Any decisions came from Rajakashes except all or not matters in terms of being firm with IC in the war end phase, all were in shatters. They have not the least knowledge to choose the right person to right place.

Army commanders choice and being firm with IC while the war was at its heights, were exceptional. But I believe, SF s appointement came to effective from the previous govt.

See, looking back the manner they work with Duminda, Mervin, Jonsten and the like would not have done by any matured politicians not in any countries in the region. They should have thought twice.

Duminda was put in front man- for pleasing their family.

Duminda was put in stage – to fool the nation

Duminda was made philantrophist to Kolonnnawa poor people to festate the wounds of them

Duminda was made Kolonawwa organiser immediately after his return from two years medical exile. – TO MAKE ENTIRE WORLD A LAUGHING stock.

This is how MAHINDA JARAPAKSHE DID IT… today, he points his finger at current men, as if he did one good thing except his term put the end to the long driven civil war.. it was a relay race and he scored the credit, but by the credit grab going beyond, he became mad and power grieedy as no others.

In this shot, obviously taken before the last General Elections, he has his trade-mark, “I am IT” grin. In the mug shot taken as he is being led away, that grin is gone. The face is grim. That’s how it goes, brothers. There is always a day of judgment and what is done in the dark is brought to light. Never underestimate the all powerful God of the universe who hears the cry of innocent blood. No one may take life. Not even our own life.

“Amen. I guess we can find all the LTTE terrorists also in hell.”

Are you planning to visit hell in the near future?

Please say hello to those whom you know personally.

Make sure you buy a return ticket else this island will become too perfect.

Here comes the Veddah with his two cents.

I’m pretty sure I’ll be seeing your friends over there in the hell. No VP cannot come back with me. I know you dream about it everyday. Sorry man, Eelam is dead so is VP.

    A criminal’s prediction on Jun 16, 2016:

““I got the chairman of the trial-at-bar that hears my case balanced through a friend of mine. Therefore, I can get myself saved from the Bharatha Lakshman murder case,” said former Colombo district MP R. Duminda Silva to several of his MP friends at a party recently.

Duminda was referring to high court judge Shiran Gunaratne, who is the chairman of the trial-at-bar that is taking up the Bharatha Lakshman murder case.”

This might explain why Gunaratna dissented, if he did. How did Kudda balanced the judge Guna? Possible, weight for weight with either gold or heroine! Anyone’s guess.

is it really good or only looks like good?
there is nothing said about the right to appeal! if the convicted can appeal to a higher instance then this verdict is not the final. even though I am against death penalty, and in most of the cases the president pardon the convicted and change the verdict into a life sentence, I think it is a good signal in the direction og gangsters and culprits, who were counting on the change of regime and hoping for impunity.
if the sentence is final, then there will be a fluctuation of criminal minded to get out of Sri Lanka. However a good sign!
