Former monitoring MP of the Ministry of Defence Duminda Silva and 4 others were sentenced to death by the Colombo High Court today in a divided judgement over the Bharatha Lakshman Premachandra murder.

Premachandra was murdered in 2011.
In October 2011 the Colombo Telegraph reported how Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa had said that Silva was not his man, but was former Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa’s ‘man.’
He had made this statement to both Bharatha Lakshman Premachandra and former Prime Minister Rathnasiri Wickamanayake.
Informed sources told Colombo Telegraph that Just before his murder, Premachandra had complained to the President that Duminda Silva had given a contract to underworld thugs to murder him. President Rajapaksa had subsequently ordered the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) to investigate the alleged murder plot. Two underworld gangsters who were in police custody at that time had given statements to the CID confirming the murder plot.

Duminda has been sentenced to death. The sentence will definitely NOT be carried out in a prison of the Sri Lanka government.
There is however a very high probability that the sentence will be carried out on the streets of Colombo.

having duminda in jail without implementing the death penalty will be a serious mistake. police have found recently that armed gangs are roaming all over the country directed by guys with mobiles in prison.Without these prisoners the gangs will be like headless chooks.take the case of pottu naufer who killed judge sarath ambepitiya,happily running his arganisation from jail.A judge can be killed and the bugger is not hanged yet.Will any judges take their job seriously if this is the protection they get.Take the case of seya’s killer.should that piece of excrement live even for one more day.
If sirisena is shacked with his bhuddhist principles,he should step down for one month and hand the country over to the philipine president who will come and do the executions with a firing squad quickly and go back to the philippines.The whole country will breathe a sigh of relief and thank the philippine president profusely and give him a flag waving send off.

Wait until Duminda’s appeal against the conviction come up . He will be released on bail by Ranil’s golayas in the AG’s department.
Finally, Ranil will save Duminda from the hang man too.
Ranil is very worried that his friend Rohan’s sister Dr. Maheshi the neuro surgeon who suppose to have operated on Duminda will be prosecuted for giving written report stating that Duminda was shot and his condition was critical. On that report Duminda was sent to Singapore.
Dr. Mahesi should be prosecuted for giving false statement to the courts.
Ranil, start the spade work to save both Duminda and Maheshi.
Ranil will do it in order to get a huge donation from you know who is very close to Dr. Maheshi??? The man with Access.

It will well known that Dr. Maheshi was to doctor a fake injury for Kudu Dumi by the instructions of Gota.

The verdict was not unanimous even though there was one eye witness testimony by Bharatha’s driver. IN fact the dissenting judge being the president or the three judge panel acquitted all four accused of all charges. This judge is as corrupt and crooked as they come. This scoundrels dissenting judgement is not only a mockery but will also pave the way for successful appeals against the judgement. The judiciary is corrupt. This case exposes it very clearly. The other profession that has also been exposed as utterly crooked is the medical profession. The next drama to be enacted is when Dumia is given fake medical certificates as happened during this trial and ends up warded in the lap of luxury while the services of another scoundrel judge from the appeals court is obtained to get the charges dismissed. The show is not over not by a long shot. All this goes on while the Brahmin turns his nose up and looks the other way absolutely refusing to clean up these crooks from the seats of power they sit in and muck up.

The judge who dissented is a friend of the MARAs and must be investigated . the judiciary cannot afford to have scumbags like this Gunaratne judge sitting on cases. The appointments were made by unscrupulous ex chief justice Sarath the sex pervert and the criminal Rajapakse family. Judiciary commission needs to carry out its duties now and undertake an investigation into the qualifications and experience and integrity of this crooked judge. Also the point raised by Hirunika is very valid and the neurosurgeon who issued a false report must be investigated and jailed and the license to practice cancelled for life. A disgrace to the medical profession and this issue must be given the maximum publicity so that no patients will see this neurosurgeon who obviously will be happy to do favours for monetary and sexual gratification.
