A group of nearly three hundred radical Buddhist extremists have burned down a Muslim owned shop in Aluthgama town on 8/5/14. This was not coincidently happened attack on the shop of this innocent Muslim businessman rather this was a premeditated racist attack to destroy the livelihood of this man. There is no shadow doubt that this attack was initiated and carried out with the support of Police, BBS and some Buddhist radicals of this area. This was the only Muslim shop in Aluthgama town. This shop has been set on fire last night (8/5/2014). It is believed that some extremist Buddhist people under the leadership of some radical Buddhist monks set fire to this Muslim shop. We should listen to the owner of this shop to know what exactly happened to his shop and why his shop was set on fire.
The owner of this is Mr. Ahmad khan. He has been living in this town since his childhood and he has been running this family business for many years. With his dedication and hard works he managed to build this shop and developed his business. He and his brother managed to develop their business with years of hard works and dedications: yet, some Sinhalese people in the town become jealous of this growing business and they did not want see one and only Muslim shop in that town. He has been doing business among Sinhalese people in that town.
It is due to mere jealousy and hared that this shop was set on fire and destroyed. Some of these jealous people deliberately and intentionally created a plot and conspiracy to destroy this hardworking Muslim man’s shop and his livelihood without any human remorse for his family and children.
They plotted and conspired. As a part of their conspiracy they sent a mother and a son to his shop some time ago. This mother came up with a fabricated story against the owner of the shop. She claimed that her son was strangled or squeezed by his neck by the brother of shop owner and she made a complaint about it to Aluthgama police station and the brother of shop keeper was taken to police custody. He was kept in police for one and half day. This episode was craftily y set up by some elements in the town to destroy this shop and livelihood of this innocent business man
In order to revenge for this fabricated story some 300 hundreds Sinhalese radicals demonstrated in the township under the leadership of some monks. They shouted that this Muslim shop would be set on fire and burned down! Police warned the owner of this shop to close down the shop when the demonstrators were marching towards the town and yet he turned down that request saying there was no reason to close the shop. The owner told police he has done no wrong to close his shop. The demonstrators did not do any damage to the shop on the day of demonstration and yet, at night time the shop was set on fire by some of these thugs. The shop was totally destroyed and nearly 50 million rupees worth of goods are destroyed and shop is totally burned down.
This was a racially motivated incident. It was reported that Police did not take any action against the culprits of this attack and police has been supporting these thugs. It should be mentioned here that entire Police team at Aluthgama should take the responsibility for this incident since they have failed to take action. They have failed in their official duties and they perverted course of justice in this case. It is in front of these police that this shop has been destroyed and yet, Police have not taken any action. Police was collaborating with these thugs, otherwise these thugs would not be able to do this destruction that quickly in that speed in the middle of the town.
This begs many questions about the prejudice and discriminative attitudes of Police in Sri Lanka. Police force is a law enforcement agent in any country. Sadly such law enforcing agent itself is collaborating with thugs to break the laws and order of this country? Why did not police take any action against these people and why did not police stop this destruction and why did not police do something to stop this injustice? The credibility of Police is questionable today in Sri Lanka?
There is no need to destroy a shop because of any minor incident or dispute. We have a good legal system in Sri Lanka. Why these people do not take these types of incidents to court rather than following the path of violence and destruction in Sri Lanka? Who is going to benefit from such destruction? No one benefits from such destruction. It is public who will pay the price for such destruction and it is our own national resources we destroy.
End of the day, we are damaging the image of our country and its economy by these types of anti-social behaviours and barbarism. Today we do not need people who destroy Sri Lanka rather we need people who develop and build our Sri Lanka.
After all these happened to Muslims in Sri Lanka in broad day light, no constructive steps have been taken yet, neither by this government or Muslim politicians to stop this anti-communal activities. This government should take responsibility for all these racist attacks. This government is trying to catch fish in trouble water and it has been ignoring the plights of Muslims deliberately and intentionally for its dirty political ambitions. Our selfish politicians have failed to grasp the grave danger that has already engulfed Muslim community in Sri Lanka.

He said he learnt that there was a discussion at the temple on an attack against him and informed the police about the attack and requested protection from the police. The police had said that necessary action would be taken if an incident occurred, he added.
The shop owner said he learnt that the attack on the shop was planned for the evening of May 8 but the attackers have instead set fire to the shop in the morning.
Police Media Spokesman SSP Ajith Rohana has told BBC that an investigation on the incident will commence soon.
When asked why the police didn’t take any action even after informed the police about the imminent attack, the Spokesman has said that the police cannot stop peaceful protest. However, no one has right to commit crimes and police will take prompt action on the incident, he added.

That was the reason why they sent the boy to the temple school.When the child began to refuse going to the temple school so adamantly, grandmother had to look for the reason. It was then only that she discovered that the child who was sent to learn good behavior, ethics and Buddha’s Dharma from the monk had in fact been abused by the monk.

Reaching the Park of Nigrodha, where the Buddha was staying, the Buddha thought to himself: “He desires his father’s inheritance, but it is wrought with troubles. I shall give him the benefit of my spiritual Enlightenment and make him an owner of a transcendental inheritance.”
The Buddha called Venerable Sariputta and asked him to ordain little Rāhula who became the first Sāmanera (novice monk).

Amaraya should know that, if the samanera (child) doesn’t want to stay in monkhood, he can always leave the robe keeping whatever he learned as a monk without losing anything.
Amazingly, Amaraya doesn’t know that when an old [Edited out] screw a child and take out her virginity she can never get it back. She is no more a Virgin.

What I cannot understand however is Rifai like ‘peace’ loving Muslim activists were silent when 500 or so Wahhabis and Salafis set fire to a Sufi meditation centre belong to Thareekathul Mufliheen in Kattankudy on October 31, 2004, at 12:30 p.m. One Sufi man was shot and killed while another was wounded by gunfire. Eight alleged perpetrators were arrested, but were released on bail with no further consequences to date. The president of the meditation centre accused police of assisting the assailants.
There were many more killings and setting fires after the aforesaid violence set by Wahhabi and Salafi Thawheed on the Qadiri Sufi order. On December 15, 2006, at least 117 houses belongs to 117 Sufis were set fire. Many Sufis fled the district in fear of their life. Two were injured, and one lost an arm. Thawheed gang followed suit in Ukuwela, Beruwela and many other places.
But this writer chose to forget all that to says “This government should take responsibility for all these racist attacks” meaning attacks by Sinhalas. I say, all that Sinhalas done to Muslims so far is a child’s play when compared to murderous acts by Wahhabi and Salafi thugs. All of us should take responsibility to prevent racial and religious violence. But one must look deep into it to understand the root cause for it.
So, if Dr. Rifai Naleemi is interested in true reconciliation with Sinhalas, I suggest he and others like him read, “I am a Sri Lankan Muslim Pragmatist” to Lankaweb by Bisthan Batcha.

I still remember what my Brother in Law who is a Sinhala Buddhist told me Six years ago.
He is comming from a Business family and after he himself doing business for over 40 years and even after surviving the LTTE 30 year war, he still had to close down his business in 2009 due to heavy taxes been implemented by Rajapakse Regime and also due to constant stealing of goods by his own Sinhala workers.
The main reason was the workers who were stealing the goods even when he leave or take a 10 minute break. This is the true state of Sri Lanka today.

4)Send a special report with Video clips to Channel 4 Callum Macrae,Colombo telegraph, UK PM David Cameron,CW Secretary General Mr.Kamalesh Sharma,Asian Human rights association and world Muslim federation, and to his holiness POPE Francis Benedit in Vatican Rome.
5)Put up posters with photos of the Sinkala Racist attacks and their protest march, and your burnt up building across Sri Lanka, and at the site of world youth conference at BMICH and in front of Sri Lankan Embasies throughout the world.
6)Reach to the Youth World Conference that is held at BMICH and get the maximum exposure from both local and foreign media. Gather locals and do a protest similar to what they did against Boco Haram at BMICH. Use the opportunity for your advantage to the maximum. This is the ideal time to expose your self to the world and to seek justice.
6)File a Lawsuit for One Billion Rupee against Sri Lanka Government, against Sri Lanka Police dept, and against the woman and her child at both Attorney General’s Department and if it fails to address take the case to International courts.
7)File for Liability Insurance claim for property damages, loss of income from business etc.
8)Finally I say with the availability of internet, Google, Youtube, Tweeter, Face Book, Yahoo etc,use them to reach and expose the whole world as to what is truly going on in Sri Lanka.
10) Also I strongly advise you not to go into fight or for riots against the Sinhala Buddhist Thugs and mobs. This is what they are looking for to start another 1983 Progrom. Also don’t rily on police for protection, but seek help from your own people to protect you.

As a human beings we all have Human weakness. Some have jealousy and some have hared and enmity. In series of lies and fabrication this poor business man has been accused of molestering a child but there is no truth on this : a mother with a child came to this shop at 3 PM and 7 pm she returned to shop to comalaint that her child has been abused?
What is evidence for this? Where was this mother when this happened? How does this take place in that shop while there are many people in the shop? After all why married man need to do this ? He got his wife to meet his personal need and if one wife is not enough we could marry more than one if there is a need for that:
In Islam if someone make this false slander he or she should be lashed 80 timed for telling lies for innocent people ?
Today in Sri Lanka law and order has been broken. It is jungle law that dominates in this country and justice is unconditional and there is no one justice for Sinhalese and another justice for Tamil and others: That is happening to day : weak and poor are punished and rich and affluents are getting away from punishment

Dr Rifai Wrote; “a mother with a child came to this shop at 3 PM and 7 pm she returned to shop to complaint that her child has been abused?” With the question mark at the end, Dr Rifai is questioning the authenticity of the complaint by the boy’s mother. Such thinking is not unusual for Muslim men because Quran teach them that a woman’s word is worth less than a man.
Talking in relation to Court testimony, Qur’an 2:282 says; “And call to witness, from among your men, two witnesses. And if two men be not found then a man and two women.” What does that mean? To prove a case a man can be replaced with two women. But for us Sinhala Buddhists men and women are equal in every sense. That’s the law of this country.
Allah’s law that replace one man with two women and treat women lowly in every way is the basic of Islamic sharia law. In Islam, women are basically sex tools and producers of children. So, I am not amused when five times Allah praying Rifai says, Sri Lanka law and order has been broken and there is one justice for Sinhalese and another justice for Tamil and others.
So it is not surprising that one woman making a complaint against one man is not acceptable to Rifai like Muslims. If we go by Allah’s law, there should be two men, meaning four women to prove this case. In Muslim countries even a complaint of rape by the victim alone or with one other woman is simply not acceptable. And that’s what Rifai wants.
This kind of thinking is clearly evident from Rifai’s questions: What is evidence for this? Where was this mother when this happened? How does this take place in that shop while there are many people in the shop? After all why married man need to do this? He got his wife to meet his personal need and if one wife is not enough we could marry more than one if there is a need for that: In Islam if someone make this false slander he or she should be lashed 80 timed for telling lies for innocent people? In my opinion, it is investigators who should deal with such questions not Rifai.
