Jeyakumari’s Daughter Writes To President

Daughter of detained Human Rights Defender Jeyakumari Balendran has written to President Maithripala Sirisena, pleading him to release her mother and has said she would commit suicide if her mother does not return.

Jeyakumari

B Vibooshika has written to the President from the Children’s home she is currently detained at, relating the sequence of events that led to Jeyakumari’s arrest.

Although the Government of Sri Lanka has justified Jeyakumari’s arrest claiming she was aiding Gobi regroup the LTTE in the country, Vibooshika in her letter has stated that she they are not familiar him.

“I promise on my mother that we don’t know him at all,” she has said.

Vibooshika claims that upon being arrested Jeyakumari was assaulted and pulled by her hair right before her eyes and has also said that electric-shock handcuffs were fastened to her mother’s hands in order to intimidate her into speaking.

She says the interrogators told her mother, “Tells us the truth or we will switch on the current.”

Furthermore, she writes that even she was assaulted and her mother was told that if she does not speak the truth, Vibooshika would be killed.

“Please think of me as your child and release my innocent, very innocent mother. She has not committed any crime. I also request you to release my third brother as well. If I don’t see her I will drink poison and kill myself,” Vibooshika has written.

I do not know if the Balendren’s spirit, the father wandering around, how would if feel the suffering his wife and the child going through on the hand of Yakas living on the earth, the Sinhala Intellectuals.

The truth is Father Emmanuel and the PM Rudra are pouring her money; that is why that mother is looking for her child she saw on the picture with the army. Otherwise she, as soon as it was born, she put it in a box and had thrown it in the ocean. She might have even accepted that, but now they might be asking her to hand over the money. To do that she has to go home to dig and take it out and give it to them. If they take her home back only she can do that. (real beasts those are even worse than ISIS, who burn the people alive)

This man, it is reported in Tamil news, the New King was up set when the key at the Thitupathi broke. They think it might be bad for them. They are worried about the possible sorry would come the future, but the woman and the child is taking it on their body for ever.

Though a new government has come into being, the same old army and police exist, and are desperately trying to ‘revive’ the dead LTTE, as this suits their arrests of notherners under the PTA – now being administered by a new Defence Secretary.
It also will prolong the army’s occupation, which is very enjoyable to the army.
Earlier it was reported that three persons who were minor tamil employees of the army were killed during a confrontation with this “Gobi group” – who were reportedly trying to locate buried LTTE arms caches using stolen mine detectors – a far fetched story.
Jeyakumari had become an embarassment as an activist, and had to be silenced.
Aryasinghe has to parrot the tall tale at the UN.
Does the Sirisena government expect tamils’ support, with this persecution?
Why not bring Jeyakumari before courts immediately and record evidence against her?

Sirisena as I expected kissed a now deflated Modi and both decided to carry on with what was going- 3 agreements and 1 for civil nuclear cooperation.

NRI Christians in the US effectively lobbied Obama to get Modi to say put a stop to religious persecution.

      What is diaspora doing ??

AAP won ND but now it looks like all the politicians at Delhi are going to enjoy AAP hard work and carry on with Graft.

Prosecute or release Jayakumari Balendran immediately. Let the mother and daughter be reunited soon, to live in freedom. Let that mother seek her son by what our legal means available to her, including peaceful protest. What has happened to Jayakumari’s daughter is unacceptable by any standard of human decency. Is the State determined to make this child develop a permanent hatred against her fellow citizens and the State that is expected to represent them?

So all that the western IC’s UN’s are interested are in the release of war criminals, thieves murders- Remember Fonny, Saravanmuttu crying they plan to send white van- the american embassy is quick to interfere.

More importantly when the BBS attacked a few muslims the western press and all you guys cried foul and very quickly BBS became a terror organisation. But how long did it take for LTTE to be classed as terror??

Lankan government cannot and will not do anything different from the thinking of CIA just like Sudan and its Oil cool goes to Ethopia.

Arresting Jeyakumari was an ugly episode in our system of justice, that I trust, has now been eliminated. This lady should be released immediately, or, if there are charges levied, bring her into court, with the evidence. I very much doubt there is any evidence but the lady was arrested merely to silence her public demonstration at “Disappearances” that the then regime vehemently denied existed.

    Maithripala Sirisena

To me you are another fool from Polonnaruwa. The moda sinhalaya.

The whole world knew that Gobi was a phantom created by Gota to get more money and strengthen the army, same time tightening the already draconian laws. This innocent Tamil woman was torn away from her daughter and incarcerated.

You have slept throught forty days. How did you forget about this woman. Why is she still in jail?

You are just a shameless donkey head calling yourself a President. You are asking for trouble buddy. Think of the “Nugegoda Rising”.

We who voted for you, will not think twice before kicking you into a drain if you continue like this. Release this woman immediately. And punish those bastards who caused her incarceration in the first place.

Do not release this suspect until and unless all investigations are complete.

When it comes to terrorism and national security, highest precautions must be taken, regardless of the ethnicity of the suspect The world has become a very dangerous place to be emotional and kind, when it comes to terrorism.

Tamil Terrorist Diaspora, the TTD is highly active and is on a plan to create havoc in Sri Lanka. Be it Sirisena, Obama or Modi were the leader of Sri Lanaka, the TTD would always find fault in them and their systems.

Highest security level is what the doctor recommended.

In that case, why are you allowing MARA, GOTA, mervyn silva, dumida Silva and so many other “white vanners” free to do what they want. They should have been in jail long ago.

Only crime is that Jeyakumari is Tamil!! In Sri Lanka any Tamil is a suspect!!

How long will it take Mr. Sirisena to release this woman? How long will it take him to release the names of the people who are in prison? All the lists of the prisoners must and should be in a list and should be available, unless they have secret prisons!!
