Judge Interdicted, Two AG Hot Shots Called For Inquiry Over Hate Speech

Embilipitiya District Court judge Dinesh Lakmal Perera has been interdicted and two high ranking officials of the Attorney Generals Department have been summoned for an inquiry to the Human Rights Commission for hate speech.

Jayantha Jayasuriya CJ

Sources confirmed that the Judge had been posting vulgar, obscene and racist remarks though his Facebook page giving rise to complaints against his conduct and issues regarding his impartiality.

The two High Ranking Attorney Generals department officers have been summoned over “boycott” Muslim shops and other racists postings on their social media accounts by the Human Rights Commission.

The two High Ranking Attorney Generals department officials together with certain other officers of the Department were seen making racist, tribal remarks over the last 4 weeks following the Easter Sunday attacks giving rise to many questions on the impartiality and conduct of the islands lead prosecutor.

“It was shocking to see so many members of the official bar act the way they did. They acted like complete tribalist reactionaries who did not understand the context or the sophistication of the issue. Instead, they led the the march blaming and maligning the ordinary Muslims of the country coming out with all their inherent tribal ideologies,” a senior Lawyer told the Colombo Telegraph.

The whole state apparatus in Sri Lanka is racist: Tamils and Muslims know this for a long time:

Blaming a few culprits is just finding some scapegoats to escape global condemnation.

I agree, like their Sinhala/Buddhist brethren Tamil Saivaites are racists.

Have you ever tried to get a glass of water from them? What was their reaction if you have? How did they know that you were not one of them?

“Native, Nope, nothing apart from a welcome sign.”

Sorry I could not give you photo evidence, here is a excerpts of guidelines given by Sri Lanka Muslim Council:
Anti-Muslim riots in Lanka. Muslim council calls for common identity

To wean the Muslim youths from the Islamic State which is fighting to spread Wahabism and Salafism, extreme forms of Islam that believes in killing infidels, the Muslim Council of Sri Lanka has issued a set of guidelines.

The council , which had earlier condemned the Easter Sunday attacks, has now issued guidelines to promote a collective Sri Lankan Identity.

The guidelines include the restriction on azan( call to prayer), removal of Arabic sign boards, changes in behaviour and attire, reforming education sector and regulations of madrasas.

The council has called for restriction on azan, Arabic signboards, new Mosques .It has said new mosques can only be built with the permission of the Department of Muslim Religious Affairs and local government officials.

The council has advised Muslims to wear coloured clothing in public and avoid wearing a black dress, face veils for women and thobe for men as much as possible.Signboards in Arabic in public places should be removed and stickers on Arabic letters or swords should not be allowed on vehicles.

            pennews.net/international/2019/05/14/

From the above statement is it difficult to deduce what has been happening with messages and sign boards in Arabic?

Don’t you understand this is part of secret Arabisation through back door?

Muslims are the ones who are opposing Arabisation however not openly. The middle class is leaving the country in draws because of peer pressure from the Muslamists.

Are you sure they’re not Saudi Arabian judges?

  • 3
    16

Judges shouldn’t involve in social matters whether right or wrong.

They’re quite apart & should be a must.

However, apart from judges others should enjoy the right of expression & shouldn’t be blamed for reasonable requests that they feel right to express.

How can a call for boycotting Muslim shops be hate speech or racial issue when Muslims over the world prosper on the idea of Muslims 1st as prophet Mohamad advised followers to favor believers?

In Sri Lanka Muslim businessmen enjoy a customer base 5 times of their population & the majority community enjoys a very small customer base in comparison to their population.

So it’s reasonable for one to say boycott Muslim shops & visit our ones even though price may be higher as Muslim sharks make more discounts to Muslim retailors & help maintain monopoly in Muslim hands.

A study/investigation must be done to see whether there’re foreign funding in favor of Muslim business community in Sri Lanka & other Muslim minority countries.

It’s believed that some Muslims sell even @ a loss to avoid customer going for Sinhalese owned shops.
They’re probably funded secretly by foreign agents.

This should be considered as a security risk of the country as well as there’re greedy foreigners to swallow Sinhala community.

Please don’t take this as hate speech as we expect the concept of fair trading @ its best.

    —————————————-

was shocked to see it on news ,,
Never seen in beruwela or Akurana such insanity .
    This is extremely unacceptable .
How come , even most Muslims in.Sri Lanka did not know about this ?
    Omg how come ?
(I.am.not talking about religous writings on mosque walls or in Muslim homes , even Muslim vehicles or shops its okay its ones own space )
But come come the authorities have permitted this ? And for how long ?
Why should the majority of the Muslims who truly love Sri Lanka as Sri.Lanka suffer for the insanity of a hand full radical idiots?
Its time Muslims come out strong.
This is 100% a crime , is it not?
Just imagine in a corner in England a a none english Community decides to write their road sign boards in a differnt script ? Where by law only English is permitted ?

Damn radical idiots , these guys since the begin of the LTTE war moved to
Colombo took over the place ruined the relationship we had with other communities , sent the property prices
Sky rocketing.and ultimately forcing many generations of colombo muslims out of Colombo who.have lived in peace and harmony with everyone even.before other foreigners besides The Sinhales and Tamils .
This is enough and its the duty of every single Muslim now to correct this .

      Sri Lanka Muslim,
“Its time Muslims come out strong.”
The unfortunate thing is all that so called peace loving Muslims turned a blind eye to these things until few Wahabi extremists killed 250 odd people and about 500 people wounded and the whole Muslim community had to live in fear because of a possible backlash. Suddenly some Muslim politicians have woken up from their slumber and say ‘Muslims have to do a self-criticism’. Will that ever happen? The problem was as Amir Ali correctly said Muslim leaders and politicians did not tell the Muslim community that ‘They have to live like Muslims IN Sri Lanka’ and not like ‘Muslims OF Sri Lanka’. Do not blame Sinhalayo for their failure to realize that.
If the terrorist attack did not take place, probably business could have gone as usual forcing Native Sinhalayo to accept all these humbug in the name of this ‘Nadagama of Chaura Regina’ called ‘Sanhidiyawa’ and even face a greater tragedy given the amount of swords, daggers, explosives, arms and ammunitions that Muslims had stockpiled

Problem is with the current system including educational system. You may see the same issue in organization or schools that are dominated by minority groups.
Sri lanka should loo at the singapore model and adapt a similer strategy.

Unfortunately Sri Lanka seems to be heading from bad to worse. Probaly in next election pro extremist group like pohottuwa will win and thinka might get even much worse. It is high time for a hero to come forward, grab power n clean the mess

Along with them they also brought their most blasphemous superstitions of Soothsaying and black magic to
Colombo., you see it in places in colombo .
No wonder we have lost God’s blessings on this blessed land .
Its a shame to see (a few)Muslims from all communities freely engaging in this most forbidden practice in the religion (no room , not an atom.is allowed for magic or Soothsaying in Islam) now its a big business by a small bunch of Eastern Muslim in a notorious place in colombo

I am waiting to see Muslim religous leaders from.sunni ,Shia(Borahs , Ismailis , local Jaffaris)and Ahmedya come out strongly and prove using the Quran that it is forbidden.
And condemn the Arabic road sign boards as a unacceptable crime in this land

Wow great at least it appears that we have an intelligent committed independent Chief Justice now. Thank you Sir. The true colour of the CJ could be seen only if he can get Judges not to jump off their seat when they have to sit in judgment of VIP cases and not to find lame excuses to postpone cases of importance. Even the special courts are delaying cases today.

All these religious people are fighting to show their god is superior or to show they know the exact way to go to the heaven. Which is a most foolish idea. If there is a god, how could those murderers kill hundreds of innocent people including children, even the most reverends were not given the message by the so called god to stop the bloody carnage. We must learn that there is “ZERO” god, means no god.
We would save billions of rupees going to hands of culprits who say there is a god to worship. If we say there is no god from infant-hood No one would want to go to churches, kovils or mosques.

The real issue here is do public servants, by very nature of laws governing them, enjoy a thing called free speech. Knowledgeable sources tell me that they do not irrespective of constitutional guarantees of free speech for every citizen. In that case, what right have they got to have facebook accounts to publish their personal ideology and achievements. I know many a public servant have facebook postings regarding their attendance in social gatherings and so forth. Had the same thing appeared in the newspapers they are in hot water. Moment they publish their personal ideology, especially ones that are discriminatory, then they let the whole world know that their judgement is coloured and not impartial. Hence they cannot be fit for public service.

We have been following the posts in the FBs of number of AG officials since the defeat of the Rajapaksa regime. Most of the FBs posts were attacking the people who have worked hard to get rid of the regime. Then, they had the Buddhist Flag and Sinha flag, Buddhist stanzas and ranaviru photos or whatever to express pseudo patriotism and followed by anti-Muslima propaganda, We were thinking how on earth Rjapaksha clan will get punished, or Muslim get justice in the event that they were attacked. AG department, please go ahead and take action; otherwise, the country will become another Pariah state soon.

As a SriLankan muslim, the sign boards of this country should onlybin 03 languages – Sinhala, Tamil and English. Arabic is not a national language and need not be on sign boards. Do you see Pali or Sanskrit sign boards? No. Such things only help in whipping up racism.

Embilipitiya District Court judge Dinesh Lakmal Perera had been posting vulgar, obscene and racist remarks through his Facebook page giving rise to complaints against his conduct and issues regarding his impartiality.
Can you not see through? Dinesh Lakmal Perera wants to enter politics.
The interdiction will give him publicity. He can make political capital over HRCSL appearance.
Impartiality? How do you think he got the District Court Judge position?
    .
Two High Ranking Attorney Generals department officials posted ‘Boycott Muslim shops’ on their social media accounts following the Easter Sunday attacks. In the workplace, they were heard/seen making racist/tribal remarks
What think they do in the office? Work?
Do these raise questions on the impartiality and conduct of the Attorney General’s department?
The lead prosecutor admit that ‘impartiality’ has been abandoned.
From when? Do we have to elaborate?
