Supporters argue that his efforts are aimed at stripping away unverified myths to reveal the pragmatic, core philosophical teachings of the Buddha. Proponents emphasize that for Sri Lanka to navigate its current socio-economic challenges, a shift toward rational inquiry and critical thinking is essential.
