Namal, the eldest son of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa was arrested when he arrived at the FCID to give a statement on the case.

Just hours before his arrest, Namal in a tweet said that it was the Government Ministers who decided who to arrest and when to arrest them. He tweeted this on Sunday in a response to another tweet where it quoted Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayake saying that Namal will be arrested tomorrow (Monday).

“Good governance at its best: Government Ministers decide who to arrest. We’ll not stop our struggle for a people’s government,” Namal said in his Tweet.

It is good that these rogues are being hunted down and remanded for their crimes. The important thing is that these actions should be seriously carried to their logical conclusion not permitting them to be considered as picnics for the relatives and friends in the same boat making political capital. I think best would be asking Namal or Yoshita babies to given those sum by selling out their own properties. That way we can silent the nation.

Else, the injustice had been carried out by RAJAKshe ET AL .. would not have been even by most stupid people.

How come a president and their family just abuse the funds of HUNGRY FOLKS ? HOW HOW HOW ?

Why just only these two. As seen with Basil the Rajapaksa’s are holding assets that they cannot account for. Auction them and the ones held by proxies too. Then throw them in jail and ban them for life from holding public office.

How come each after few days, weeks of remand – to leave remand on bail out ?

What are the criteria for bailing out ?

What about those ordinary men or women that are met with similar cases ? would they also be free through bailing out ?

Glorifying Alleged Criminals is the name of the Game of certain GUTTER NEWS MEDIA USED BY JARAPASSA FAMILY.
Whether they were going to Prison for their Criminal Acts , Glorifying As though the Heroes were being taken to be Crowned King of SL , when they Visit the Yellow Robed Thieves ( some )) or even in the Act of cracking Thousands of Coconuts ( WASTAGE OF COCONUTS) .

THIS IS GUTTER JOUNALISM. THIS IS SRILANKA THIRD WORLD GUTTER JOUNALISTS.

Namal brat talked too much. He was walking two inches above ground level when maharaja was going on 2nd term. If maharaja won a 3rd term Namal and siblings would have walked in the air. God saved this country from Jarapakses. We are grateful for that. This Namal brat hasn’t done any law degree from London. But was sorrounded by beautiful chicks in London. His assignments have been written & submitted by someone else. He was called synthetic lawyer. This brat deprived poor Jayaratna from completing Finals at Law College with the help of politically appointed Principal Rodrigo. We have not forgotten how Namal brat given an air condition room to write the examination. It was also mentioned that Namal has returned blank answer scripts which were later completed by Principal Rodrigo and awarded Namal a 1st class pass in finals. There is a talk that Maharaja has completed law finals same way. In short cheating is in medamulana blood. People of Srilanka want speedy justice, not like tortoise speed. We also did not forget how brutally General Fonseka was dragged from his hotel and court martialled. Then deprived civic rights. In short bring back to treasury every cent looted & siphoned out from this country. Mete out same treatment to Maharaja & forty thieves which General Fonseka underwent when he was defeated in 2010.

Arresting of politicians & cronies of the previous regime & then being bailed out almost immediately is becoming a boring subject. Recently Sajin Vaas was arrested & bailed like so many before him but the list of racketeers is long & we are happy thinking the wheels of justice are turning but the day any of these punks are actually tried in court (never mind the verdict), the sky will be full of pigs flying. The best we can expect is for the case to be thrown out due to lack of evidence.

These are the people who want to create agony to many people during their time in power either harassed or even sent many to jail just because they did not tell ‘yes’ to whatever they wanted done but now when it is their time to face the crimes they committed with impunity while they were in power, they now cry and complain. They never thought how their victims would have felt when they did the same, but undeservingly.

What did they think when they dragged the former army commander Sarath Fonseka to jail. What did they think when they sacked the former Chief Justice Mrs. Shirani Bandaranayake because she was bold enough to stand by her conviction and do the right thing by giving the due verdict that deserves against the wish of the then Government.

I agree with the President My3 when he accused some journalists taking press freedom to the rule of the jungle. Why cannot these journalist pose these questions I placed above when the Rajapakses come out with rubbish accusing the Government of victimization. What the Rajapakses got was what they deserve. These corrupt politicos have a way to use their public support to escape from the crime they committed which an ordinary man cannot do and he is left on his own to defend him or accept the judgement and get punished.

That idiot Namal Rajapakse feeling proud to show his handcuffed hands. This is the difference between the ordinary man who will hide his face in shame.

there had been strong speculation among thinking public that there is a deal between the culprits and the govt. leadership. a lot of people still believe that theory. the arrest has faulted that theory and the govt. should be careful in proving that they mean business and try their best to eliminate all doubts.

Now that Namal is in remand and there is every possibility that he could be released on bail, why on Earth does not the Police bring all the available offenses that has been committed by him by way of “B reports” and charge him every time he is released on bail and keep him in remand custody as long as possible?

The Wasim Thajudeen murder could be a starter with many other offenses that he is supposed to have committed already on the books.

The law abiding citizens of this country are watching the unfolding drama very anxiously.

keep him and his entire team of thieves and murderers at gowers street law office behind bars…and throw away the keys…plenty of evidence, plenty of allegations on money laundering, robbery, murder and fraud against the state. not forgetting intimidation of innocent people.

The MOST IMPORTANT aspect in this whole episode is only one question.

    Were the “Rajapakses” Corrupt?

Even die hard supporters of this family know that from “Nobodys” they became “Somebodys” and all the monies that they have amassed during the last TEN years have come from very suspicious dealings.

Finding the TRUTH, concerns all Sri Lankans, and if they have robbed from this country it is our money and we want it back.
