Colombo Telegraph promised to take the necessary steps to address his concerns if the Editor of the Daily News names the website he makes reference to and sends the clarification he wishes. “We ask only that he refrains from making defamatory remarks that he is unable to substantiate and engages in a constructive and civilised manner. This is after all, not the Ceylon Daily News,” Colombo Telegraph said in its challenge.
For reasons best known to himself, the Daily News Editor has chosen to refuse to name those he criticised in foul language of having distorted his editorial comment.

(I nearly died when I heard that he is a product of the school by the sea ! – who ever took this low life in to my alma mater, is lucky that I don’t know who they are….they would have heard from me without a doubt ! I’m all for balanced journalism and letting the reader make judgement based on the facts which regularly occurs on this site. But surely you could have found a better picture than this one unless there is an agenda! This isn’t Fox news! And as for thora being the lowest of the low because of him, the dear college was already brought down to the lowest of the low when my son told me of the homophobic language used by a certain prefect a few years back about some old boys to students from upper school in the hall without anyone taking action which I’m sure any parent wouldn’t/shouldn’t tolerate their sons using language which I dare not repeat. We all know of the college’s denial that Raj Rajaratnam was ever a Thomian and was saying technically he was a prepite and blah blah blah and we know the same will be done to Rajpal if they could. As for Rajpal, we’ll take him for the individual that he is…which is that he is a nutter!
