Oops. he isn’t talking about logic, he’s talking about ETHICS!
He sent Archbishop Ranjith to Italy in November 2009 to speak lies on behalf of the government to get GSP+ – the withdrawal was affecting the IDPs when the truth is that the UN, ICRC, MSF and many others were struggling to get permission to help the war-ravaged detainees in Menik Farm camps!!

What sort of ethics did he display towards Sarath Fonseka ?
What sort of political ethics did he display towards those who surrendered under the white flag.
What sort of political ethics did he display when he amassed all those illgotten gains on kick backs.
What sort of political ethics did MR display in investigating when his close associates amassed wealth that they could not explain.

Below is an article that appeared in lanka News on 28 April 2012 about his Chief of Staff Gamini Ssenarath. Where is the political ethics in not investigating Gamini during MR’s tenure as president.

Ofcourse they should. Just like you held it up by throwing your military commander in jail! And… suppressing all opposing view holders! Are you in any position to be preaching Mr. Rajapaksha, when you let down the citizens who trusted you. Shame on you!

MR through his Military Governor Chandrasiri ensureed that all progressive legislation passed by the NPC was nullified – this was not done in other PCs in the south.
His troops occupied hindu places of worship, looted many, interfeared with family life occasions, deprived livelihoods of farmers, fishermen, cultivaters & others, arrested citizens and student at random for so-called rehabilitation, erased cemeteries of fallen LTTErs – a barbaric act, and until now keeping hundreds in detention without trial, allowed his troops to prey on war widows, allowed his troops to invent ‘grease yakkas’ to harass women and girls & allowed the army to brutally assault villagers who captured these devils, confiscated homes and lands of northern citizens and maintained the Reign of Terror right up to the election, and then had the brass to ask for their votes !!!
This was his brand of Political Ethics.

He needs to be got rid of and it is a shame that capital punishment no longer is on the statute books!

    Dear Mr. Ex president

Why are you rushing tp Asgiriya and Malawatta.

You have your Cheap Justice still on. You are a Lawyer, Your Son is a Lawyer with 100% marks at theLaw exam.

It will not cost you a cent to defend yourself and prosecute the offenders. You can appear for yourselves. Surely you have all the time to defend your self at Aluthkade Courts.

I am sure by now you, your brother and members of your family has by now realized how people felt when they fled through Nandikadal in 2009. God now made you realize how nice of you to have taken from the beggers bowl after tsunami.

God made you leave all the Gold and Money and leave Temple Trees with only the cloths you wore on that day.

Sure you had Gold and Money Stashed elsewhere too.

Please remember no one takes any thing with him on his final Journey.

Better for you to get into a saforon robe and cleanse Buddhism ( Sri Lanka Version). Forget your RC baptism.

MaRa is trolling. Just blatant trolling. Just like when he starts uttering a few Tamil words to give the illusion of inclusiveness, despite the fact the has incessant hatred for Tamils.

The only reason nothing was found is because he stashed the stuff elsewhere. Just look at how Rajapaksa clan and their close friends own Carlton Sports Network and how CSN got the broadcasting rights to SL Cricket for the ridiculously low bid of $1 million.

Rajapaksa stole from the people when CSN was awarded the cricket broadcasting rights.

“But lawyer J.C. Weliamuna, the former head of Transparency International Sri Lanka, said the state had lost approximately 3000 million rupees in revenue as a result of awarding rights to CSN for 125 million rupees”

You are not above the law Mr. Ex President. During your time, even a child who took coconuts from another garden to pay for her schol was taken into custody. Why not you who has stolen millions if not billions from Sri Lankans cannot be searched?

Yahapalanaya is not equivalent to maythripalanaya. Yahapalanaya = fair and balanced governance, governing with justice and integrity.

So Mr MR, don’t get things mixed up. Have a good dialogue with Mahanayaka Theors, they will remind you that Bad Kamma follows you like the cart behind the bullocks

His is to this day – such corrupt as if he does not know what he is talking about. Alone making statements such as they won by minority votes have sent the message accross the nation if nation is knowledgeble. Now sour grapes eating situation – being unable to do anything. It is all he never thought his reign would fall down this early. I remind the man publicly making statements ” mama enawa apahu bayawenna epa – I ll be the president even after the 8th etc. but what happened is the very unexpected. Let alone this man is not wise to tanalize how Rajitha, Maithreepala – all of sudden left UPFA. If his wisdom was connected with the high powerful intelligence unit mastered by his brother, why they failed to get that even. Rajitha says, nobody could get it until 19th Nov.

Playing his game of cheap popularity, as usual.
Will only be swallowed by either low IQ individuals or corrupt persons who benefited from his regime.
This is stating the obvious, no doubt, but how can anyone with an iota of intelligence not derisively smirk at this ridiculous outburst from the defeated MR?

I don’t get the logic of the argument that just because he allegedly did not display ‘poltical ethics’ he cannot ask the new government to behave ethically? After all, he is admitting his defeat to Yahapalanaya so obviously he expects more from this government than the last.

Speaking of the last, those crossing over displayed political ethics that is why there is a move to cancel membership of MPs who cross over.

Political Ethics Should Be Preserved And Maintained: MR?

Oops..someone has displayed true class. Well for your information not everyone is a psycho to entertain ignominy of that nature.

Its his low IQ that he had nerve to preach about political ethics. And come one, you’re invariably saying you SHOULD BE ABOVE THE LAW!!! I can’t believe you made such a speech at a public appearance. I will respect you as the hero who eradicated Tamil tigers and terrorism from this country at any cost which prevailed dragging for 25 years killing innocent children on their way to school, on roads, trains and busses, destroyed the country’s intellectuals etc. But it’s a shame that you didn’t live it up.

    MR,

How on earth can you speak of political ethics when you knowingly violated all of it. The treatment of CBK, SF, Mangala, the double crossing of Prabakaran who helped you win an election that you could have never won, then your friend then enemy and now friend again Tiran ( a first class swindler whose house you burnt) CJ Shirani B, Lasantha, a whole host of journalists whom you selectively went after. You are sitting at home twiddling your thumbs today because the people ousted you for these vey reasons and the mass scale robbery by you and your family of state coffers.

Please don’t paint yourself with innocence. We are fed up of it.

Please dont try to cheat the public anymore. Your true colours are seen by Tamils from 2005-2010 and by Sinhalese & Muslisms from 2010-2015. Now all communties hate not only you but also your all family members. Please stay away from politics. Atleast we, the public want to breath calm. If you want something to do join the racist booru sena.

Ohh…. god look who is talking about ethics.

Ethics will be in place Ex Presi.

When you were the presi, you did not give a damn about us citizens.

We sang the same song but to no avail only fell on you deaf years.

Now. it is your turn to sing and Mr. S. Fonseka will rate you accordingly.

arn’t you ashamed of your self for talking about ethics when you never considered about our citizens plight.

Only once place you can talk about your plight in ethics. i.e. in hell.

Mr. Ex President: Please, at least now LEARN to subject yourself to the laws of the country. Why I say NOW, because for the entire period of your office as President, you, your family and cronies did not “SUBJECT” to the Laws of the country. Let that be the “beginning” of a new and a decent life for all of you. THERUWAN SARANAI.

Does this bugger know the meaning of ethics in the first place?

  • 2
    0

If TRUTH be told ethics must be maintained.

Certainly NOT political ethics – from the likes of MR & his cahoots.
They did not have any ethics. (period).

MR & Gang are now looking for loopholes in the law to escape from the responsibility of BREAKING / CHANGING the law to suit their ends.

MR & Gang are looking for sympathy from the gullible public who believe his propaganda lies – that he and he alone saved Sri Lanka.

MR & Gang are so dense that they believe the lies that the propagated!

MR & Gang have only one effective form of defense – that is blackmailing the powers that be who were complicit in his treachery.

For sure, notwithstanding all the RATS who jumped ship ….
Rats are not known to protect rats – even from the same ethnicity
Rats, however are known to devour other rats ……….

So, MR suggest you confess that you had NO idea as to what was going on …
Spill the beans on your brothers and Children ……..

Claim that you are a victim of circumstances ….
An emperor with NO clothes nor brains ……..

Confess …….. and thou shall be damned ……….
Keep up the pretenses and thous shall be Damned to eternity !

This statement alone shows the twisted mentality of the previous President.

For him `HIS FAMILY’ is superior to rest of the Sri Lankans as they were in politics from 1931 and therefore his residence should not be searched by the police.

Somebody must educate our previous President, supposed to be a qualified Lawyer, that in `Yahapalanaya’ every citizen is equal in law.
