I think the pope has got it wrong once again. There are human values that trespass religion. One of such is love. Gay or straight humans have agreed upon to respect the choice to love and live accordingly. Religions that are way behind time, like the one that the pope represents just keeps on objecting modern human life without any success.

The poor old pope is too conditioned by his catholic mentality to have any objective view on ‘love’, regardless of who is loving and/or who is loved. What a distortion of Christ’s teachings!

Some poorly understood Biblical passages, conveniently twisted to suit pre-exisitng prejudices, become a believable excuse to marginalise a poorly understood sector of society. Envoke God’s name enough, thump the Bible enough, and you can say the most ludicrous and outrageous things. Claim you are doing ‘God’s Work’, and you can get away with anything. Add to that some dodgy research, and a veneer of respectibility, and thousands of people will willingly put aside all logic and common sense, to lap up every bit of evil divisive filth you want to throw them in the name of God.
Not everything that glitters is Gold. You can put a rat in a gilded cage, and call it a dove – but it is sill a rat …

The Pope is right to denounce same sex marriages and sexual unions. It is Gods given moral law that the heterosexual union in marriage is the only God ordained marriage for all humanity till this world ends. Homosexuality is wrong and sinful in Gods law and it stands forever and Homosexuality is unright. What has gone wrong with today’s modern world is, it has perverted its freedom and uses its right as liberal as possible and claims a world for it self outside of Gods standards.
